Really sweeps well!
My son isn’t a big fan of the vacuum, so we needed an alternative for his playroom carpet. He has snacks up there, and will often get Goldfish crackers and peanut butter puffs all over the old shag carpet. The crumbs were hard to keep up with until we got this. I’ve used carpet sweepers before and didn’t expect this to clean a lot, just the surface. This works so well! It gets 95% of the crumbs off the carpet, even after it’s been a while and the crumbs are plentiful. Make sure you empty it regularly, though, because it can spill easily if you set it down too roughly on the ground, etc. I’m thinking of getting another one to bring to my office at work so I can remove evidence of my lunches at my desk. LolOverall, it was easy to put together because I think the handle just had to be screwed in, is a decent height, rolls easily/is not hard to push, is lightweight, cleans well, and is a great price.

Perfect for rugs!!
I needed something to use on my Ruggable rugs because even my stick vacuum suction was too strong and kept sucking the rug up. This little thing is no joke. It cleans up every single little crumb on my rugs. It even works well on bedroom carpet! Definitely recommend if you need something quick and easy to use for rugs/carpet in between vacuum jobs!

Great sweeper for the price, but not disability-friendly
For what you pay, this sweeper performs even better than expected. It is easy to empty, and can sweep on both medium-to-low pile carpets and hardwood floors. The box it comes in is deceivingly small, but it’s quite sturdy once put together! The downside is that you have to push with a LOT of force while vacuuming, so it is not disability-friendly or recommended for anyone with mobility concerns.

Not as expected!
Easy assembly. Not heavy. It picks up little pieces from the floor but must of the time it happens after three times sweeping it with its brushes. It makes you work more. Does not reach corners and makes noise. I guess it is ok for the price.

Better than Fuller… At least on carpet.
I purchased a Fuller sweeper for $80. That one flipped up, particularly on carpet/area rugs when it went backwards. In addition to that, I felt like I was pushing/pulling a boulder when I used it, even on hard floors. Not joking, my arms felt like I had just finish lifting some weights when I got done sweeping with it. I found these two things to be really annoying because the cheap Bissell sweeper I had years ago had neither of those issues and was much cheaper. I think there may have been something wrong with it, but I didn’t have time to return, purchase another, and possibly have the same issue and have to return it again, so I just returned it for a refund.I purchased this one for 1/4 of the price of the Fuller. It’s just as easy to put together and empty. But it’s easier to sweep with because it doesn’t flip up when it goes backwards. So 1st thumbs up to the cheap sweeper for that!As far as sweeping ability:On carpet/area rugs– I would say this does just as good of a job of sweeping up on carpet/area rugs compared to the Fuller. But less strength needed to push/pull it than the Fuller and it doesn’t flip up when it goes backwards. So 2nd thumbs up to the cheap sweeper for that!On hard floors– I know. This thing says not to use it on hard floors, but I had to because the Fuller could be used on hard floors and I’m trying to compare… This, in my opinion, is where this little sweeper gets its 1st thumbs down. The Fuller picked up GREAT on my hard floor (vinyl), this one seemed to just push things around unless the crumbs or what have you were a little on the bigger side. No stars knocked off for this since it is advised not to use on hard floors to begin with.Comparing the Fuller and Yocada — The Fuller bristles seemed to be a tad softer than the bristles on the roller of this sweeper, but not by a lot. On the 4-corners of the bottom of the sweeper, the Fuller had hair bristles, whereas this one has rubber bristles. The Fuller roller could be removed, this was nice when it came time to clean it. I don’t see that the roller on this one can be removed. Other than those things, I dont really see any other huge differences.I’ll be keeping this sweeper. To me, it’s worth the $20. If I can get at least 6 months use out of it, that would be fine with me.Lastly, I suppose the Fuller could have been a little lower compared to this one which is why it was better on hard floors and harder to push/pull on carpet/area rugs. I’m not sure since I don’t have the Fuller anymore to look at it and compare, but I also think it was defective which made the issues even worse, especially because of the much higher price where you would expect superior quality. This one, for $20, does what the manufacturer claimed it would so I am happy with it.*Pics are from not having vacuumed/swept for 5 days. There is 1 adult and 1 fur baby in my household. The last time I swept 5 days ago was with the Fuller and these pics were taken immediately after sweeping with the Yocada*

It works! I have 2 dogs this gts up hair
I have two dogs and my vacuum crapped out on me. Well I don’t have another $200 to buy another vacuum cleaner so I bought this one. I have low napped carpeting so this was appropriate My beagle sheds like an insanely amount every day so I have to vacuum often. This little carpet sweeper really gets up the hair I was surprised. It was well packaged, you put the handle together easily, then viola it’s ready to roll along your carpet. It picked up the little bits and pieces and all of the hair. It’s easy to open to remove the debris but you need to use both hands which I don’t really like. However this is a well made appliance and should serve me well until I can get a real vacuum cleaner again.

Carpet cleaner
Got this for my classroom and it does an okay job. I donāt know if itās cuz we have a lot of hair on the ground but it seems like it will stop picking up things and maybe itās all the hair that gets trapped in there but it can be frustrating. The little comb it comes with is handy at getting things unstuck though and thatās very nice!

Excellent sweeper
I bought this because it was specifically designed for carpet. It has significantly reduced the amount of pet hair in my apartment. It leaves my carpet looking a lot cleaner as well. So now I use it regularly to keep pet hair from embedding into the carpet.

Sometimes old ways are better!!
I bought this sweeper to use on a dark colored area rug that shows every speck of dust! It is a pain to drag out the vacuum constantly . It is so easy to whip out this little gem and zip across the rug in minutes ! No cord to roll up etc. I was amazed at how much it picks up ! It will pick up light dust or crumbs from the hardwood floors but not as well as a broom or stick vac. Well worth the money !

just what i needed for the bar
I bought this for the pool hall where I work. The place has the low pile commercial carpet, and for the price, this sweeper works nicely. It’s only been about a month, so I can’t comment on longevity yet. It sure beats breaking out the 100 foot extension cord just for some cigarette ashes by a table.

Works Well Enough
I didnāt want to spend a lot so I bought this one hoping it would be sufficient. As stated in the description, it doesnāt work well for floors like hardwood, but it works super well on area rugs and carpets. I bought it because I have a dog who doesnāt like the vacuum. She doesnāt like the hokey either but not as much.

GREAT LITTLE SWEEPER
I AM 73 AND VERY FAMILIAR WITH CARPET SWEEPERS. I HAVEN’T HAD ONE IN MANY YEARS, BUT RECENTLY GOT AN AREA RUG. IT IS LARGE AND GETS TRACKED UP EASILY.I HATED DRAGGING THE VAC OUT EVERY SINGLE DAY, SO I WENT ONLINE AND SAW THIS LITTLE ONE.IT MAY BE SMALL, BUT IT TAKES UP LOADS OF EVERYTHING….I DUMP IT EVERY TIME I USE IT.VERY EASY TO USE, AND STORE….TOUGH LITTLE UNIT…LIGHTWEIGHT. LOVE IT!

Great product
I give this 5 stars. I was very shocked. We are going to pull our carpets so I didnāt want to spend a lot on an electric sweeper. So I took a chance on this one. Itās awesome (you know for what it is). Works great and boy it can handle a mess! My only tiny complaint is Iām 5ft 9 and the handle could be a little longer but thatās just searching for something wrong. Iād purchase again no problem.

I don’t usually write reviews but…
It is perfect. It does everything it is supposed to. It is easy to put together. Easy to clean after use. And really picks stuff up. My cats have their own room where all their furniture is, where they eat, and where their litter pans are. It can get messy and they hate the vacuum. So I took a chance on this and it does a fabulous job of cleaning the carpet with no stress for any of us.I plan to use it in other rooms of the house for light pick up because it is so much easier than using the big vacuum on carpet and floor surfaces. That might cut down on the electric bill too.

Itās ok
As is, it only picks up tiny pieces of dirt and such, and just pushes larger crumbs around. I had my husband take off the front roller. Now it works much better and actually picks up goldfish and larger crumbs. You get what you pay for, but it is (now) well worth the $25 since I can clean up better during nap time without turning on a loud vacuum.

I have 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 humans living in my house – all of which shed their hair like crazy.I decided to try out this little sweeper on my freshly vacuumed, low pile kitchen runner. One pass in a straight, back and forth motion. Second pass just kind of all over the place. Checked the inside and Iāll be damned if I wasnāt disgusted.Just buy it – it absolutely works.

Great
The Yocada Carpet Sweeper Cleaner is a great product for anyone who wants to keep their carpets clean without the hassle of a traditional vacuum cleaner. The sweeper is easy to use and has a powerful brush that effectively removes dirt and debris from carpets. The compact design makes it easy to store, and the lightweight construction makes it easy to maneuver around your home or office. The sweeper is also durable and long-lasting, making it a great value. Overall, I highly recommend the Yocada Carpet Sweeper Cleaner for anyone who wants a convenient and effective way to keep their carpets clean.

I want to marry this carpet sweeper!
This is WONDERFUL on my low-pile rug. WOW. I have two dogs = lots of daily hair. My 8×10 rug can’t be vac’d with a traditional, high-quality, high-suction vac, so before throwing the rug out, I tried this. OMG. I love this little thing! It picks up everything! I can keep my rug! No ass’s instructions, b/c it’s so easy to assemble the parts in 90 seconds (no tools req’d). I am thrilled that this is working out. High value for the money. YAY!!

Short handle
The first thing I noticed is the handle is too short it needs one more insert. It does pick up pet hair but itās not easy to clean pet hair off the rollers. I would suggest running the vacuum first and then go over the area with the sweeper to raise the nap of flat area rugs.

Outstanding!
I just put this together (assembly = screwing the handle on) and it is my new favorite household item!I live with (at least) two dogs and a cat…. All long haired. Plus my Golden LOVES to roll in the grass/mulch. So I could vacuum 3 times a day and Still turn around to find cat fur or pieces of grass, or chunks of mulch…. IT’S NEVERENDING! And I’m just not hauling my vacuum out every half an hour. Ugh.This little thing is amazeballs! It picked up every little ball of cat fur, every little stuck and piece of mulch. Okay…. In the interest of complete honesty….. I did have roll it over that one bit of cat hair a couple times.. But still. It actually leaves ‘vacuum marks’ in the carpet.Super light weight. And empties super easy. I also like that they sent a little tool specifically for cleaning the rollers. (rollerS….there are two. Unlike the ‘name brand’ $70 one with one single roller)I know it’s the first day but, for the price… You cannot beat this!

Does what it is designed for – old tech is sometimes still best
The vacuum I have for my too small apartment is woefully inadequate. It can suck up paper, but nothing else. My rugs get hair and such on them the vacuum doesn’t get. I was using those lint rollers, but that gets expensive and harsh getting down on the floor all the time. This sweeper is the old school design from my childhood and rather than get a bigger and pricier vacuum that may take up too much space, I decided for $25 to try this just to see if it could get what the vacuum could not. It does! It is not 100% or miraculous, but one can clearly see the difference!Eventually, I may get a different vacuum, but for now, this item plus what I have (stick vac) does good enough.

Works for what we wanted it for!
Like most reviewers, this sweeper doesn’t work well on hard surfaces, but it DOES pick up some things. We have a robot-vacuum, but wanted this sweeper for in-between times on our area rugs. We have hardwood floors and low-pile area rugs throughout the house, plus three small dogs (2 Pugs, 1 Frenchie), so the amount of dog hair this sweeper picks up surprised us! I would recommend this sweeper with the expectation that it is a good secondary use item, not necessarily for primary use.

Amazing
I had one of these when I was a kid because in the 70s we had carpet in our kitchen! Today we do not have a carpeted kitchen but we have a few rugs in the house. I wanted something I could use for a quick clean up without a major vacuum job. I got this today and it was easy to put together and I used it and it worked so well! I was amazed at the hair and dirt it picked up. Easy to empty out. Ok I only have had it for a day – but I can tell itās going to work well. Even if it lasts 6-12 months itās worth it. I have two short haired dogs and there are 4 of us in the home – just so you can consider the amount of dirt aroundā¦ Iām not submitting a photo but k did show my husband the dirt it collected in one sweep!

Mom Loves It
I buy many products for my mother that she needs or asks for now that she lives in an independent care facility. I really should say that these are apartments as they really are. She has her cat there with her and there is a den, bedroom, living-dining room area, kitchen and a bathroom. Her unit isnāt small. As I stated earlier she has a cat. Her cat is very nice and quite hairy. Mom has housekeeping at her facility but the cat isnāt polite enough to stop shedding in between cleaning days. So itās on mom (literally and figuratively) to take care of this hairy situation. Mom received her Yocada sweeper today and an aide put it together in about a minute. The aide tried it out first. She immediately went to Amazon and got one for herself. She liked it that much. And mom? Mom liked it but absolutely loved the color.

Picks up well
I purchased this sweeper because I recently moved and now have carpet in my kitchen (gross, I know) and didn’t want to haul out my big vacuum every time I dropped something on the floor, because I am a klutz. I don’t have pets so I don’t know how it does on pet hair, but I gave it the ultimate test. I had received a desk that I had put together in my living room that came with styro-foam packing. Little pieces of styro-foam were all over the living room, because that stuff multiplies like rabbits. So as soon as I put the handle together, I started picking up the styro-foam–it worked great. It easily picked up all the styro-foam pieces with no problems. My kitchen carpet is very low (like flat really) and it works great to pick up crumbs, pieces of shredded cheese, and anything else I drop on the floor. I chose this sweeper after reading reviews on more expensive ones (Fuller Brush) and better known brands (Bissel) because of the reviews. I really think this is the best one with the best price.

Great tool, incorrect color in image
I picked this specific carpet sweeper due to its color being shown as a light blue in their images. Unfortunately, the color is significantly darker to the point of being dark blue-ish. I was very excited for the color shown in the product images and would not have purchased this sweeper if I’d known it was actually dark blue. Due to that fact, I’d have given it a one star review, however, it DOES do what you want it to do, and it does do it pretty well. I’m happy with the function, but I do hope they update their images to properly reflect the product’s color. If you do not care about the color that much, then purchase this product with confidence as it works great! It can be a bit messy when you dump it, and if it gets too full it will start spitting some of the contents out as it overflows. These are things you can easily work with once you get used to using it though.

Sweeps up on low pile carpet/rugs and bare floors. The one issue, the handle turns a lot so it unscrews while youāre sweeping. And truthfully, itās not that big of a deal. I really liked this sweeper for a few days, but now the sides that hold the handle won’t stay in place and it’s nearly impossible to use. At best, it constantly pushes to the left. Overall, I’m disappointed š
