WORKS GREAT

The media could not be loaded.
I absolutely loveeeee this ice maker. I’ve been using it for 2 weeks and it makes ice very fast. The ice takes a while to melt, and it makes more once it melts. It’s affordable, good quality and works great. Get it…you won’t be disappointed!!!!

Makes ice
Great personal ice maker, purchased this for a pole barn “cabin” where we only have a mini fridge with a freezer compartment the size of an egg carton, just not as long.Pros:Makes ice fairly quickly.The controls are easy to read and the low water indicator is great so you don’t have to keep checking.Compact, easy to store, nice design.Ice basket comes out, making the scooper just an added item that most probably wouldn’t use, but nice to have in times you would.I have only used the large size ice maker, I would use small if I intended to crush the ice or make a blended beverage.There is a drain plug on the bottom, no need to tip the entire bucket over.Cons:It take up to two cycles for the ice to make the correct size (large).The handle is flimsy and would not depend on using it to carry the machine anywhere.Suggestions:Use filtered or bottle water, not tap.Start making ice about 30 minutes before intending to use, keep the machine going.Use an insult aged ice bucket to keep ice, or place in a freezer or cooler. * The ice maker does not keep the ice, if you want that you will need to pay a much higher price point.Let the maker cycle through at least 2 times to get the expected size cube.When finished making ice, drain well and dry the inside of the ice/water well, to prevent mold/mildew.Keep in mind this is a portable ice maker, not an industrial ice maker. It does the job very well at a decent price point. I would highly recommend.

Impressive
Small, compact ice machine that is really easy to use and starts making ice right away. All you have to do is add water and hit the start button and ice starts dropping 6-8 minutes later. It has a self cleaning option that is convenient. It has a very quiet hum when it is on. I purchased this as a gift for someone else and they were thrilled. I’m considering buying once for myself. The price is also really affordable. Overall good buy!

Countertop ice maker
And so I’ve only had my ice maker this is my third day. So far I am absolutely loving it! For 14 years I have been popping and filling and popping and filling and popping and filling ice trees! So sick of it! It seems like it’s a pretty good quality product and it’s easy to use. I have not tried cleaning it yet obviously. I don’t know about the portability cuz I haven’t taken it anywhere it’s for my countertop. It does smell like a lot of chlorine but that probably has something to do with my own personal water that I’m using. I gave it only four stars only only only only only due to the fact that the ice does come out a bit wet so when I put it back in the freezer it all sticks together and the other reason I gave it a four star is due to it is a little bit noisy with the fan running but nothing that has really bothered me too much. But I have to say honestly it is a little noisy. Overall, I would highly recommend this product especially if somebody travels a lot or you have a a camper that you need an ice maker in, etc. I love it!

It’s brand new for us but so far so good. We had a Frigidaire countertop ice machine that only lasted two years with regular cleaning. Hope this does better. With these machines you need to realize that they’re meant to be emptied into a container in your freezer soon. I don’t know how well this keeps ice frozen if you use it as portable because that’s not how we use it but the cubes will be wet, not bone dry in the basket so expect that. This machine isn’t overly noisy but we’ve been listening to a deteriorating machine for awhile so in comparison, this is pretty quiet. The basket is plastic and if you have hard water, it will get gunky along with the rest of the machine so regular cleaning is important along with using filtered or great quality water. Before first use we ran a cleaning cycle and one cycle of ice. It’s relatively fast and does what it says. Longevity will be the key but maybe these machines in general aren’t expected to last years. Time will tell.Update: still working well. Upped the cleaning to each week with an ice cleaner solution you can find on here. Also when you go to drain it, the plug has two pieces. We pulled the plug and it didn’t drain. You have to push down from the inside to remove the extra plug piece. Looks like it’s an added feature to ensure it doesn’t leak and it doesn’t.

Small but Mighty!
This isn’t the first countertop ice maker I’ve had, but it is definitely the best! I was lucky enough to get over $30 off in a flash sale!This ice maker is a bit smaller in size than the others I purchased, but it produces just as much ice, just as fast, and the large cubes seem a tad bit bigger than our other ice maker. The base is about 11”x9” and 11” tall not counting the scoop. If you want to store it on your countertop, you will need 15” clearance between your counter and the cabinets.If you fill the unit with water to capacity, you will need to empty the tray halfway through or it will stop making ice due to lack of space. Naturally, I found that out the hard way 😁, BUT when it was full, the unit “compressor,” that turns on to freeze the water, kept circulating cold air to keep the ice from completely melting. I LOVE that feature, because it means less melting, and I can run this continuously until I need to empty the tray. That means a lot when I’m busy doing other things.Since this isn’t a “freezer” you will need to move the ice to your freezer sooner rather than later. Keeping the ice somewhat chilled in the tray was a pleasant surprise. As you can see by the photo, the “large” bullets are a really good size too.Of course, storing ice is a consideration, since ice can rip through plastic bags. I found some great heavy duty, free standing, washable, “zip” bags on Amazon that are insulated and have a spout. That was a great solution for me, since they can be used to securely store your ice, or you can use the bags to serve chilled drinks. They work for both storing AND serving the ice.One thing to be aware of is the cubes tend to stick together in clumps after transferring to your freezer, because the ice is still “wet.” You will want ice storage that is sturdy enough to bang on your countertop or take the abuse of a stainless steel scoop.The unit comes with a plastic scoop. I prefer a stainless steel scoop (the one in the photo is a size “small”), but the plastic one is definitely a nice addition, since it can be stored right on the unit, and it’s always there when you need it.I would DEFINITELY recommend this product!

People… this item is not a refrigerator, it is also not a freezer. The basket area where it drops the ice is probably very close to room temperature. What happens to ice when it is not in a freezer? It begins to melt…..This machine does exactly what it is meant to do. It makes ice. And it does it well.This is a good product. It’s pretty darn quiet. sometimes the basket rattles so I get up and move the basket a bit and BAMB, its quiet again. If you can’t afford to buy a new fridge with an ice cube maker then this is a pretty cheap alternative. If you transfer the ice to a freezer be prepared to need to break it up later. The ice is wet so it will fuse together.In my opinion this is a very good item. Received on Aug 24 2023. Hopefully it will keep working for a very long time. If it stops working anytime soon then I will update.

Does what it’s supposed to
So this little 1.2 quart reservoir makes 26lbs of ice. That in itself is amazing. Once you run 4 cycles of ice through it it becomes the right size. Ice as it says Todo. The convenient scoop allows you to scoop ice or for your cup or a bag. Gets a little wet if you leave it off all night but it isn’t bad enough to bother me. Very quiet unless it drops a few cubes which takes a couple seconds and it’s back to being quiet. Well very little noise. It’s not enough to interrupt anything. It does what it is designed to do and does well. It makes ice it doesn’t say it’s a freezer so if it gets full may want to bag some of it. I am well pleased it again remember it’s not a freezer so it’s not cold where ice stores unless there is ice in it. Hope this helps someone and if it does please let me know. It did. S I will know If I am wasting my time with this lol

Great Ice Maker!
I love this ice maker. We bought it to keep in our camper because I love having ice in my drinks. You basically just plug it in, fill it with water, and choose what size ice cube you want, and then it gets going. It takes about 6-8 minutes for each round of cubes, and it also takes a while for the cubes to get up to size (the first few rounds are a little smaller) so you should turn it on early. I also find that the first few rounds melt very quickly if I leave them to accumulate in the bucket, so I try to pay attention and scoop them into a bag to put in the freezer. After it’s been running a little while, the ice cubes seem to hold up in the bucket and I can wait until it’s full to store them in the freezer.We had a lot of fun using it this past summer, and have even used it at home a couple times when we wanted more ice (our fridge doesn’t have an ice maker). This was a great purchase, and I would recommend getting one if you need more ice in your life!

The perfect housewarming gift!

GREAT ICE MAKER FOR THE MONEY!
This was my first purchase of an ice maker, since I don’t have alot of room in my freezer for ice trays and cube storage. This was a plug and play. Follow directions and a few minutes later Voila! Ice cubes. I didn’t know the difference between types of ice cubes, bullet or nugget, and I think these bullet types melt in liquid faster than nugget, but they work for me and I don’t have to buy a 7 pound bag of ice from the gas station or freeze a plastic cup of water and smash it when I don’t have time. I buy a big bottle of Pure Life (the water I drink) and use it for the ice maker. The ice at the station is $4, the water is $1.99. Makes as much so I’m saving money and effort and time, all valuables to me.

Needs a timer
Using it for a couple of weeks. Filling up an ice tray in my freezer takes about three hours to make ice cubes, this does it in about 15 minutes.Some people on the reviews say the ice melts too soon after it makes it. The first batch does a bit, because there’s no other ice to keep it cool. Give it about 3 batches in and the ice will stay fine for the whole night. The compartment is insulated like any cooler.It’s no louder than my microwave.My only gripe is that it really should have a start/stop timer. Sometimes I forget to turn it off at night usually because it pauses until the ice melts, and it will keep making ice all the way through the night.

Pros and consPros there is always ice made as long as you remember to add water! If you are an ice user like me this is one of the best things I ever got for myself. Currently it is in my house on the kitchen counter but eventually it is going into my camper.Cons,The ice cubs are thin, they melt very fast. They ice cubs are hollow since they freeze around metal rods. When I add a drink that is room temp the ice melts very fast and really waters down my drink. If the drink is already cold then they are fine.The ice goes into a little bucket inside the ice maker. Once it is full there is a sensor that stops making cubs untill the ice is used, or melted. However, sometimes as the ice melts it creates an ice wall that stays by the sensor. So the bucket will melt almost all the cubs and it hasn’t made news ones. So you have to be aware to knock down the ice if you want constant ice making.I think this is with all counter ice makers. I know other people who have other brands that pretty much do the same thing. Just writing these cons for those who have never had an ice maker what to expect.But all in all I absolutely love this! I wonder how I went so long with out it! Great buy!!

It works okay
It works well, but the pellets should be labeled smaller and smallest. It does take a while to get a decent amount of ice for storage. It does have a handle to help with lifting and carrying it for cleaning. It is hard unplugging the spout to drain the machine for cleaning. Overall, I think it works ok for the price paid.
