Works well and looks good… excellent under the counter beverage fridge

The media could not be loaded.

I went ahead and bit the bullet and paid for the higher priced beverage fridge. I am not disappointed. The French Door design makes it easy to navigate around when the doors open and it is pretty quiet. Temperature control stays good and the door seals work. One of the reasons I picked this model is because of the wire racks do not slide out completely when just pulling them forward so you don’t find your cans all on the floor. Yes you can pull them out and rearrange them if you need to.

A Beverage Cooler used for beer and wine

Extremely quiet… actually have to kneel down to the floor to hear it when in operation. Holds precise temperature, plenty of rack space for regular and large wine bottles. I chose this beverage cooler as reviews for “wine coolers” were not favorable regarding two levels of temperature control. I enjoy red and white wines at a cold temperature with room for some beer or club soda at the bottom. Also, the solid door is great as the other designs of shaded glass, are not as well insulated and less time spent trying to make the bottles/cans look pretty. So far after five months, quiet as a mouse!

    So far, so good!

I began looing for outdoor refrigerators right after we decided to have an outdoor kitchen built for us. After much searching, I decided to purchase this refrigerator and now I’m so glad that I purchased this one over others. This unit was installed in about March 2021 and has functioned flawlessly since then. We live in the DFW area and it is very hot and humid here in the summer. The unit is installed in our covered outdoor kitchen and does not get direct sun or any rain. I set the unit for 34 degrees and it maintains it even if the temp is at 105. I did purchase an extended warranty just in case it falters. So far, I am very happy with this product.

Great fit for old trash compactor, but a little noisy

This fridge fit perfectly in a space to replace a trash compactor. It looks nice and is a great replacement for an unused space in our kitchen. I like the shelves that slide in and out. That makes access to things in the back much easier. The only downside I have is that the unit is a little noisy. Not bad, but it is noticeable in our kitchen. Overall, pleased with the purchase if it lasts a long time!

Torn if I should return it

Before buying this I saw all the reviews about how people use it outdoors and I assumed with the price and the reviews that it was an outdoor capable unit. I called up Kalamara and it was confirmed that it is not an outdoor unit. They “recommend” not using it outdoors. Are their people out there that have had multi year success using it outdoors to change my mind? I see that many have had it outdoors for multiple months but I want this thing to last 5-8 years like my last one (summit outdoor fridge).

Great …but Doors are not fully Reversable

Looks great and gets very cold. Nice blue indoor light. However to reverse the door (to left hinge) you have to contact customer service and order new hinges ($30 and yet to receive) which is fine but to flip the door the locking mechanism is now on top, is not functional and leaves a very unsightly gap. In addition the ‘Kalamera’ ensignia is upside down. Not ideal to be sure!

Way nicer than the price would indicate

This has a quality feel and look, the display is great and controls pretty easy to use. I wish it came with some support from the manufacturer tho. Something to hold it down would be nice, it slides around and I need to figure out a way to secure it. Insulated cover would also be nice

Best Affordable Quality Counter Height Beverage Fridge!

The media could not be loaded.

I love this fridge! Excellent option for our built in cabinet wine fridge replacement. When our wine fridge broke, I was shocked at the price of the skinnier replacemens! This may not be a major brand name, but it works beautifully. It’s quiet, accurately holds temperature. I also really like the versatility of beverage fridge vs. wine only. The lock feature is also excellent if you have kids! To date, we have had it for 2.5 months!

    Great beverage cooler

This product functions well and is quiet. Allows me to keep my wine at the temperature I like while my husband can keep his beer at his favorite temp.

    Nice product

Overall great refrigerator. Blue LED is stylish, but only lights the top shelves of the unit when filled. Could use lighting throughout. Also, lighting is on or off by switch only. Does not turn on/off upon opening/closing. Everything else works well so far.

    so quiet

We love our Kalamera Beverage Refrigerator, as we also have a Refrigerator for drinks and wine, we use this for left over food and condiments. It fit perfectly in the space under the counter where our other unit had finally quit on us. So Quite and so easy to keep clean

    Works, but very noisy…

We love that we have more room for our wine and sodas, but this unit is super loud. We have it in our bar area/dining and we can still hear it from our bedroom with the door closed! It does keep our beverages cold and our wine cool.

    Just perfect

I had researched a under the counter beverage cooler for several months. I had a dishwasher that I didn’t use. I hand wash all of my dishes. So I wanted to put this beverage cooler in its place. The cans of sodas and bottles of water, juice and other drinks were taking up too much room in my refrigerator. I wanted this one with the stainless door because I had read in my research that the glass doors aren’t as insulated therefore not keeping as cold and costing more to run. This cooler came packaged well and once unboxed, I left it upright and unplugged for 24 hours as per instructions. The next day, I simply slid out my dishwasher and slid in this cooler. It was a perfect fit. I had measured, remeasured and measured again to be sure I ordered the correct size. I simply set the temperature on the easy to use, easy to read control pad and let it cool. This beverage cooler is all I expected and hoped it to be. Easy access to a cold drink anytime. The blue light inside can be turned off if desired. I like it, so I left it on. There is also a lock at the bottom of the door and keys included for anyone who might need this feature. Overall this is a great cooler and great price. I looked at many that compared and were well into the $2k price range. I would highly recommend this beverage cooler!I love it!

Displayed temp is very inaccurate; Takes longer to cool down than claimed & warms up faster too

Displayed temp is very inaccurate; Takes longer to cool down than claimed & warms up faster too-Interior temperature & temperature setting displayed on the control panel is significantly LOWER than the actual interior temperature. It’s not just when running, either; after sitting all day turned off with the lid open in 73°F, the control panel displayed 68°F when powered on. What’s worse, this discrepancy is not a constant; at refrigeration temps, the indicated temp is about 6°F lower than the actual interior temp, while at -8°F indicated (which is the minimum settable temp.), the actual interior temp varies from +3.5°F to +5.5°F (IOW, when set at -8°F, the compressor shuts off at about +3.5°F & turns on at about +5.5°F). This fridge is probably capable of reaching -8°F but will not due to the inaccurate temp control.-Cools down quickly, but it takes quite a bit longer to cool down than claimed in the temperature diagram chart (“Only 20 mins from 78°F to 32°F / Only 40 mins from 32°F to 0°F”). The actual performance is not quite that good: At 77°F ambient, it took almost 40 minutes to cool down to actual interior temp of 40°F (refrigeration temp) and after almost an hour total, it managed to reach 16.2°F After power off, it took less than an hour for the internal temperature to rise above 42°F (max safe refrigeration temp).-Usable capacity is smaller than 25 Qts.

    Disappointed with Customer Service

I received the Kalamera 24 inch Model KRC-150BF refrigerator on May 18th from Amazon which cost $951.44 (tax included). Though the refrigerator is marketed on Amazon as having a reversible door, there are NO reversible hinges included with the delivered fridge. I contacted customer service the very next day by phone and was requested to send an email, which I immediately did. My email (which included a video demonstrating the need for the hinges) requested support for the needed parts to reverse the door. Kalamera’s response was that they would handle the request and the rep apologized for the inconvenience. I made a second call on May 22 and emailed twice more requesting the reversible door hinges be delivered so I can reverse the door (as advertised) and begin to enjoy the unit. Today marks two weeks since receiving the fridge, and still NO hinges. I did receive a reply email yesterday stating the parts from the manufacturer need to be sent to Kalamera before the hinges can be mailed to me. My advice to Kalamera or Amazon is, do not list a fridge as being able to reverse its door, if the parts needed are not included with the item when shipped for delivery. To Kalamera’s credit, they did offer $20 for my inconvenience. In the meantime, I still cannot use the fridge due to the location of where it needs to be placed. It is quite frustrating to not receive the reversible door hinges in a timely manner, or at the very least, receive a estimated timeframe of when I will receive the required parts.Submitted by: Frustrated Customer!

    Works really well.

My wife and I use Airbnb’s alot and like to travel. We were getting fed up of getting ripped off for drinks and junk snacks on the road. So I really bought this as travel fridge for use as we traveled. For this it works perfectly. On our last couple of Airbnb trips we decided to take frozen food/meals with us and try out the freezer and did not really expect it to keep food that cold on the road. We pre chilled it to 0 deg F by leaving it on for three hours before we set off, filled it up with frozen food and set off with a remote control thermometer inside. The thermometer on the fridge and on our remote thermometer stayed withing about 2 degrees, but who knows which is the most accurate, the temperature on the unit varied from -2F to +2F during the trip.We can not fault it from the description given, it has so far worked perfectly.

    Sharp and upscale beverage center

I research the heck out of all the beverage refrigerators on Amazon and Best Buy. I narrowed it down to the top 3 that all had great reviews but some pluses and minuses.I chose the Kalamera after visiting their homepage and feeling confident about the service and quality of the fridge. I followed the directions to a T, (let sit for 24 hours, clean with mild soap, plug in for 24 hours then load). More than enough beverages fit into the fridge include navy size 12 oz cans to all my various sizes of bottled beer and seltzers. No sound until fan starts but it’s not on long and doesn’t bother me at all. My old one from Avanti was loud and lasted 8 years. It’s super sharp looking stainless steel door. The handle was super easy to install. I set the temp to 34 and my drinks are super cold. It will go to 32 but that’s a bit too cold for me. The blue light is cool I just leave it on all the time. Very happy so far.

    love my new beverage center

Have had this in for a month now and love it. It’s attractive and functional for us. The only things that are minor areas I’d like better are the settings only go to 38 on each side. Obviously for wine that’s more than enough but the men would like the beer side a few degrees colder. On the wine side with so many wineries using slightly “fatter” bottles now it’s difficult to fit them in. I can use one ‘fat’ bottle with 2 regular ones but there is also a height issue to the next slide above that one on most of the shelves. I could take a shelf or 2 out to accommodate the bigger bottles but then I have less of a chilled selection at any given time for guests. it’s a trade off. These are very minor issues, overall I love the fridge and so do the guests!

    So far so good

Seems to be working well. The door handle is hard to put on. Your have to peel back the door seal to access the bolt holes. It came with two plugs which I thought could be used to plug the holes and leave the handle off but they were too small.

    Good wine/beer fridge!

Works well as expected. It is a very good looking unit. I like being able to have the different temps in each section. It is is little noisier than I had hoped for, but still not a problem since I have it in a out of the way area. Need to remove some of the shelves on the beer side if you are a bottle drinker since it is optimized for cans. Hard to fit more than 2 wine bottles per shelf on the wine side. Bottles are too large to fit 3 together. This may just be the wines we drink.

    Nice beverage cooler

I received today and so far it is cooling to the advertised temps. The shelves don’t accommodate the tall skinny beer cans, you have to remove a shelf. The only disappointment is although it was packed very well there were 2 bent areas the top left above the hinge and below left behind the hinge. I will update if anything else shows up.

    Good Buy

I really like this beverage fridge. It it not as stylish as the ones with the see through door and pretty interior lighting, but I ordered the solid door because I didn’t want to have to be worried with keeping it looking “neatly filled”. It keeps drinks really cold and was a good buy.

    Exactly as described

We are very pleased with this unit. It arrived ahead of schedule and was well packaged. The frig sustained no damage in shipping. The important thing was its dimensions are exactly as described and this was important as the height limitation was 34″. It fit exactly into the opening with a 1/10th of an inch to spare. On loading and startup it took 20 bottles of wine, 54 minicans of soda, 8 tall cans, and two bottles of beer. It took about 24 hours for it to reach 54 degrees Fon the wine side and 38 F on the soda side. Once there it runs intermittently to maintain these temps. It is not loud when it runs and there is no big startup sound for the compressor. We love the blue lighting and the glow it casts off at night. It hit every metric of our expectations and we look forward to many years of enjoyment. We would definitely buy again from this manufacturer and seller. We feel we received excellent value for money in this purchase and could not be more pleased.

Been running 4 months straight without issues

This fridge rocks. I have owned a dometic fridge but it was way to big, blocking all visibility and lid would always hit the top of my car causing it not to open all the way. Mind you that unit was three time the price of this fridge. I have this fridge hooked up to 100 watt solar panel and a 100 amp hour battery and it has been continuously running in the back of my car for 4 months without any issues. I live in Las Vegas and we have hit triple digits months already. I was skeptical at first both with the “no name” brand and the size of the fridge. Rest assured I don’t always take the time to write reviews but this has kept my drinks ice cold in summer months, continuously running on numerous off-road routes. The compressor they use is rock solid. The space is plenty for weekend trips. Remember there is no ice. So more space. Little advice if you are going to use this in your overland rig is to keep it full. A full fridge holds temp better and if you wanted extra insulation and protection pick up one of these “Uber eats” type food transportation bags. It fits like a glove but you will have to mod it and add ventilation holes. Buy it and with the money you saved go get a solar panel and battery for off grid. Sips power just amazing.

6 month’s in use: a very nice under-counter beverage refrigerator that keeps cold beverages handy!

A little funky to setup, especially when installing the provided stainless steel door handle as the screw mounting holes have to be addressed by lifting the hard plastic door liner and piloting through the door insulation to the handle. But no condensation issues on the door (sometimes an issue with glass door fronts), and needs a little help to keep it from sliding too deep under a counter. It runs quietly, and although the removable racks slide out and have stops (so you don’t dump the shelf contents on the floor), the rack spacing leaves a bit to be desired for water, wine, juice and soda bottles when mixed together for convenient access. Internal capacity is 2.9 cubic feet, with external dimensions at 14.9″ x 33.9″ x 22.4″. There is a box shelf at the bottom rear of the cooling space which takes up about 20% of the internal refrigeration space to house the functional components such as the compressor and circulation fans, and overall internal space should likely be reduced by an inch or so below the external dimensions to arrive at the 2.9 cubic foot specified internal space. So far, it runs well, and keeps cold beverages handy.

    Quality

This fridge is great quality but the customer service was even better. Unfortunately the first time I ordered this, there was a problem with the cooling. They exchanged it very quickly without any hassle and the replacement works great. Great capacity for beverages and wine bottles. Exactly what I was looking for.

Unit arrived freight in under two weeks, to shipping damage and was well packed. Fired right up with no problems. Fan is a little noisy, but I think when I install it into the cabinets with counter you will hardly be able to hear it. Bob

    Good performance for the price,

I have been looking to multiple dual-zone fridges and eventually bought this even if the feedbacks divide between good and bad 😉 (but also others have a similar range or worse).I have installed it carefully following instructions and after a few days it has stabilized in a good cooling performance, even if it does not get super cold (but it’s cold enough for beers); wine is cold enough for whites and bubblies. There are many comments about its noise and yes, it is definitely more noisy than a normal fridge (you distinctly hear when the compressor kicks in) but we almost got used to it; sometimes it adds a funny gurgly sound…All in all I think it is an good product for its price range, given that the next quality tier is definitely more expensive.

    Cooler

The only issue I had was when I set it under my camper awning on a hot day around 90 degrees it never hit the desired temperature I set the temperature level on.The drinks were still cold but it was around 5 degrees warmer.

so far so good – just installed and temperature seems great.Did have a little trouble installing the handle as you have to pull out the rubber tubing on the inside of the door to get to the screw hole. Other than that, so far so good

Shoddy quality control, and missing customer support

Shortly after installation one side of the unit stopped cooling. Apparently this has happened to other units according to reviews. Unfortunately, Kalamera’s customer support is shoddy. They shipped me what were supposedly replacement control boards that they wanted me to install, but they weren’t the right parts for the unit I have, despite me sending pictures and serial number info. Since that mistake, they haven’t been responding to email requests for tech support. Buyer beware: spotty quality, and absent customer support = bad value.

    Im Impressed

Plugged it in and it cooled down fast. We have a friend staying with us while waiting to move into a new apartment so we threw some of his frozen items in and everything has been great. Had been using a thermoelectric cooler for a few years and upgraded to this and so far it has exceeded my expectations.

Worked great with my Jackery 290 Power Bank

I plan to use for primitive/dry camping. I tested it out for 24 hours at 39 degrees and it impressed me. As others noted, the compressor kicks on infrequently. It does make a bit of noise but not enough to distract. For those looking to use a power pack like a Jackery lithium with this unit, I found that the you should set the “battery protection” setting to low. Otherwise, the unit will end up shutting off after a while. In my case it shut off after about 12 hours. The default setting is high, so you will need to make a change to the battery protection. The protection feature is only necessary when you are operating the unit off your vehicle battery.

    Nice little refrigerator

We bought a refrigerator and used it for a trip it was way too heavy. So we bought this one. It is lighter but it’s also a little smaller. We liked it much better even though there’s no wheels for pulling. It works nice keeps the temperature well

Great looking beverage cooler at a good price.

The fridge fit nicely into the spot. The temperature control is awesome. It was very difficult to find one that went as low as 32 degrees.

    Update on review

I reviewed this when I received the item and gave it 4 stars because of outdated documentation. After traveling 7 Western U.S. states over 2 weeks and using it as both a refrigerator and freezer, I was so delighted that I upgraded my previous review to 5 stars. One great consideration is since ice is not needed, I no longer have a soggy mess in the bottom of the cooler plus, no need to buy ice. Two suggestions, the plastic on top of the control panel is easily scratched, I wish I had left on the protective plastic. Also, be sure to keep the air vents uncovered when packing. I previously bought two thermo-electric coolers that were false economy and useless in heat. This unit is simply fantastic especially with low-voltage protection; something vitally important when camping in isolated places.

    So far so good

Delivered on time and let it set for 24 hours before installing. Once installed it got to temp quickly and is maintaining its temp fine. Very easy to install. The door handle is a bit odd to install but not too challenging.

    Didn’t Make it Three Years

Generally ok but a little noisy for a while, but broke before we’d had it two-and-a-half years. Per our local appliance repair guy who can fix anything, it’s not worth what the repair will cost. Looking for a different brand now to replace it.

Great dual wine/ beer or beverage fridge!

We were looking for a dual fridge that would fit under our granite countertop. After searching a ton of options, we settled on the 24″ Kalamera. We only had 34.5″ to work with from floor to the underside of the granite. This model measures at just under 34″ and you can see how close it is in the pictures. After following directions to leave it unplugged and open for 24 hours, and then plugged in but not loaded for an additional 24 hours, we could finally place our beer and wine inside. It works perfectly; no issues yet. It does make your typical fridge noise every once in a while as the fans kick on, but nothing too loud.Overall, we are very happy with our purchase.

    Exceptional customer support

The unit worked as advertised for 6 months. Kept items cold. Was very efficient in my van working from a jackery 240 battery and 50 watt solar panel. Last week it pooped out. I called the seller. I was told I would receive an email within 24-hours from tech support. I figured BS. Within 24 hours I was contacted and offered a full refund since they don’t sell the product in the US anymore. I already received the refund. I am only writing this review to illuminate how exceptional their customer service was. I would buy from this company again, knowing how well they want to take care of their customers.

    BUYER BEWARE!

First of all I don’t think I have ever written a review before but feel like I’m obligated to warn the next victim. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy this product. Purchased in October broken in December, customer service from manufacturer is terrible, now having to resolve thru extended warranty company and Amazon after multiple attempts with manufacturer doing absolutely nothing. Save yourself from this aggravation!

    Nice unit

I have only had the unit for 3 days, so my review is limited. The fridge arrived on time and packaged very well. The unit is heavy and appears to be well built, looks like some other units at twice the price. The dimensions are true to advertising. All you have to do is install the handles with 4 small screws, super simple. There were many comments about the compressor, when it kicks on I can barely hear it. Not sure on temp yet. Both sides appear to be cool, but not sure if the ‘beverage side’ will be cold enough to give you that ice cold drink. The unit does have feet so you can level it. The doors only need to be opened 90 degrees to have full use of the slide out shelves. Blue lights (manual) are very nice and provide a nice look. Power cord is plenty long. Not for outdoor use.

It was a little more than the others

I’ve only had it a few days but it came very well packed and protected. The only thing I had to install was the handles. It is quiet and has a nice finish. It’s easy to adjust temperatures. The shelves are nice and sturdy. The only knock I have on it is the shelf spacing isn’t flexible enough to accommodate all the different drinks we’d like to put in it. Overall I’m pleased with it so far.

It’s able to be adjusted within the temperature range desired. It’s very quiet and nicely under the counter. Delivery was top notch. I‘ve only had it for one week and I am very satisfied with its performance so far. I only wish the interior was white instead of black to make it easier to locate items. The stainless steel door looks nice. It appears well built.

Kalamera cooler is working great and it’s beautiful!

So far I love my Kalamera KRC-150CB wine/soda cooler. It’s pretty, fits nicely in my butler panty, cooled down and is maintaining the chill on my soda and wine, and the company has been great to work with. Take a look at the pictures – to me it looks great.Kalamera had said it needed a 24″ space and it fit perfectly in it. I had to adjust how far back the carpet went so that it would sit level front to back and that seemed important so it would work quietly. I also had to make sure it wasn’t pushed too far back so the doors would open and not hit the cabinets next to it. It is working very quietly and shuts off and sits silently once it cools down. Follow the instructions and I think you’ll have success. You may notice the power cord still is running over the top of it. It is, but as soon as the outlet is working behind it then I’ll pull it out and plug it in back there. No problem.I love the French Doors. They are beautiful and limit how much space is used in the depth of the Butler Pantry when they are open.I found online that Coke products like 38 degrees and Pepsi likes 40 degrees so I have Coke in the right and Pepsi in the left. I know it doesn’t use all the space, but I am just putting whole 12-pack soda boxes on the shelves. They fit great except the bottom ones on each side that are actually half shelves. I do have wine bottles down there even though its not really the optimum temperature for them.It comes with wood shelves on one side for wine and plastic coated shelves for soda on the other. I’m really more interested in soda so I’m using the plastic coated ones and removed most of the wood ones. I did need one more short wood shelf and contacted the company at service@kalamera.com. They were GREAT! Very responsive and got me one in the mail the same day for a very reasonable price. Thanks for the wonderful support Kalamera! Finally, there have been comments online here about short life problems. While that can happen I have nothing to believe this isn’t going to be a great product. I could certainly see how there would be issues if the directions aren’t followed (such as keeping it upright for 24 hours before installation) I have no indications so far that this is going to be anything but a joy. I will update my review if that changes.Should add that the price of this was less than half what the appliance company wanted to charge for another manufacturer’s product. We didn’t want to pay more than the cost of a full-size refrigerator for this and Amazon’s price was great. It came right away and the packaging was great so it was well protected.

Very quite but can’t get to 32

Overall, this is a good unit that is extremely quiet, well built with solid shelves. Though not in the description that I read, if you remove the bottom shelf the bottom is molded to hold wine bottles. The shelves are close together so a standard 12 oz cans fit standing up and you can just barely get them in and out without pulling the shelf out. Would not work for the tall skinny 12 oz cans unless you lay them down. Obviously, you can rearrange the shelves at the expense of number of cans storage capacity. The good news is even with a shelf full of cans the shelf does not sag as seen on some other brands. My biggest complaint is that the unit cannot get to 32 degrees. The best I can get it to is 35 though the control is set to 32. The unit does shut off so it must think it is 32 degrees. Could be that the fans are located directly behind the control box. I tested this using two thermometers. one digital and one good old analog red line style. 🙂 They agree that the unit is 35 degrees no matter where I place them. On the plus side, the cooling is even enough that no area freezes like on my radiant cooling unit where items closer to the cold back plate freeze if they are non-alcohol soft drinks/beers. For the money it’s a good unit just wish it could get to 32. Currently have it standing freestyle, but it is going to be built in soon. Will be interesting to see if the performance changes with reduced space around it for air.

Great 30 inch fridge that looks and runs great

Bought this refrigerator recently and very happy with it. It was delivered on-time (three days after ordering) and set up in my new rec room. The assembly was simple and once plugged in it quickly reached the right separate beer and beverage temps for the two sides. The door handles feel very solid, the wood wine shelves add a classy touch and it’s super quiet. Overall it seems like a good deal for the price.

    GARBAGE – DO NOT BUY

Unless you are OK with unloading the refrigerator every 90 DAYS to thaw a huge chunk of ice – DO NOT BUY this unit. Read the reviews! The ice will build up around the fan/coils to a point where the unit no longer cools – time for maintenance! You will also have to pull out the unit because once the ice melts it will drain out onto the floor and destroy your cabinets and subflooring. I called Kalamera customer support and they created a case but said this is normal operation and there would be no action unless it started happening after a few days of operation. Look elsewhere and don’t look back!

    Great fridge. Really cold

We bought this to put under our counter where a Kitchenaid ice maker had been. Didn’t want another ice maker and don’t need a wine fridge. This is perfect. Love the blue light inside. Have a selection of cold drinks so guests can help themselves.

Quite Cooling After Several Months **update**

I’m patiently waiting to determine whether Kalamera will honor their 1-year warranty. My refrigerator quit cooling after several months. I was initially able to unplug it and reset the unit, but it quit cooling again several months later. Now it is not functional. It looks excellent and fits my space perfectly, but none of this matters if it doesn’t cool my drinks. I plan to update my rating after hearing the response from Kalamera.***Updated to a 5 after a replacement refrigerator was promptly delivered. It has been working perfectly and looks amazing in my basement bar. I think the first refrigerator was simply defective. The temp holds steady in the 30s and you can hardly hear it running.***

    Efficient and flexible

We got this unit for a dry bar and it has performed very well. The shelving is efficiently laid out and we actually use most of the right-hand side for white wine storage, not soda/beer. The shelves are coated wire on the right side, and the two top shelves have a wider spacing, but otherwise they work the same as the left side’s wooden shelves. The unit is slightly noisier than our full-sized GE fridge (which is very quiet), but is definitely not disruptive of conversation or even of quiet activities, such as reading, in the same room and it runs fairly infrequently. It is much quieter and sturdier than previous, less expensive wine fridges we have owned. The only assembly required is installing the handles, which is similar to installing a drawer pull on a cabinet – two screws through the door, into the handle. The unit is heavy enough that it will be helpful to have two people to unbox it and move it into position, although I was able to slide it around solo.

Temperature level not so great !!

I just received the KRC-C25WI did some test to make sure everything is in working condition so My review found me this so far.I put some cold and warm drinks in the cooler & set the coldness to 35 degree’s. It took 30 minutes to bring it down to 35 degrees on MAX mode. I then turn it over to ECO mode and adjusted the temperature to 32 degree’s & removed the power from AC onto a power station to DC mode that carries a 268 WH.It’s been 15 hrs. and I still have 30% battery life still so I’m happy with that now. I rather run my power station than use my car battery on trips so this fits the bill for me..It’s also very quite so that’s also a plus for me.I can stand up many drinks compared to others that are somewhat smaller another plus too.I put a temperature gage inside to see if it kept accurate to the outside display panel. I had checked this several times for accuracy only when it reached my 32 degree mark and to my surprise it gets an F.The temperature inside is 8 degrees warmer compared to the outside display panel, to me that’s a lot of difference so I’m not sure if they calibrated it or Not, but it is for sure way off course.Anyone buying this model may want to run a check to make sure it keeps accurate temps. When you spend $200 dollars for a small 25 quart refrigerator you would expect it to be close to the real temperature inside the box !! compared to mini refrigerators that are a little bigger in size costing $98 in retail stores with a built in Freezer !! I only had this one day so if anything else comes up, I will do a follow up on it as well. I hope this helps someone else out.
