Great feeder
Spent ages researching the right feeder for my tank. I wanted to feed 2 separate foods to my fish, Algae wafers and some micro pellets. This feeder fitted my requirements. After i charged it up (5 hrs as recommended by the manufacturer) even though it was fully charged after 3 hrs i left it a full 5 hrs as stated in instructions. It is very easy to programme and i filled the compartments with the food. I didn’t use the attached bracket as my tank has a glass lipped lid which the feeder sat on nicely. The actions of the feeder are extremely quiet and it’s been on my tank now for approx. 7 days. All good so far. ive had no condensation issues inside at all and it’s been seamless in its actions. The battery is still showing full (approx 1-2 months it should last) The only thing i have noticed is that on the bottom of the feeder there was some condensation settling on the outside case, but this has not got inside the feeder and all the food is nice and dry. To alleviate this i have raised the feeder up by approx 2 inches so that should definitely help with any condensation forming on the bottom of the case. Please note this feeder is not recommended for flake food. I would definitely recommend this feeder Im about to go on a nice holiday and this has put my mind at rest that my fish will be fed whilst im away….update. This has been in use now for a month continuously and I have raised it up approx 1 inch as I mentioned earlier. Had not had any condensation at all and the battery still showing full. I feed my fish once a day. Thus is a game changer for sure. Hope this helps you all 😉

Sets Up Nice (Will Update as I use it)
(EDIT – 4/6/2024) The feeder seems to be going great! My fish have learned where the food is and they seem to be doing well. I have noticed a little moisture on the bottom of the feeder but I don’t think it will cause issues. It doesn’t seem to have any moisture buildup inside the unit’s feeding sections but I will check occasionally. I use flake food which works but SUPER tiny flakes sometimes get caught underneath the walls when it rotates. Not an issue for me. May require cleaning but as of right now it doesn’t seem to be an issue. It drops probably 99% of the food into the tank. I still have not had to charge it.(2/29/2024 – First Day)I just set this thing up on the top of my 40-gallon tank. I have an Aqueon top with a plastic strip and a hole cut into it. The feeding window is almost the same size as the plastic strip, so I hope food doesn’t get caught on the top. Opening the book, it was fairly simple to set up. The buttons were a tad confusing but using some common sense I managed to figure it out nicely. I set it for 1 feeding a day and tested the manual feed button. It seemed to work well so I loaded the food. I am using flake food, which might get caught in the walls but I guess we will wait and see. It seems like decent portions for my 40-gallon; I only have a few smaller fish, some snails, and plants and it can easily fit my usual feeding amount in each spot with plenty of room. I used the suction cups to mount it on the top of the tank instead of the clamp, which slips off nicely. The suction cups seem to hold it but I wouldn’t trust it to hang over a precarious edge. One of the suction cups seems to slip and the unit can be pushed slightly left and right. It took a few hours to be “full charge”, so we will see how long it takes before the charge ran out. It wasn’t a bad price compared to other feeders on the market. I like this one because if this does work, it has the benefit of being able to easily set the amount of food unlike rotating barrel feeders. The fish were first confused where their food was since this is their first automatic feeder so I will be monitoring it to make sure it is dispensing food properly.

Funktioniert richtig gut und ist dicht
Im wesentlichen möchte ich nur die Funktionsweise hier noch einmal beschreiben, da diese aus den Bildern nicht so GANZ hervorgeht: Der Futterautomat hat einen sehr dicht anliegenden Plastikschieber auf der Unterseite, der die Feuchtigkeit gut bis sehr gut von der Futtertrommel weghält. Zum Fütterungszeitpunkt öffnet sich zunächst der Schieber, danach dreht sich das Magazin um ein Fach weiter und der Inhalt fällt so durch das Schieberloch, welches sich danach wieder hermetisch verschließt. Obendrauf ist ein Deckel, der zugeschraubt wird; auch da wird nichts feucht. Genau so und nicht anders hatte ich mir das vorgestellt. Meine Angst, dass nach drei Tagen alles Futter klumpig ist und nicht mehr aus den Fächern fällt, ist komplett unbegründet gewesen – das Teil funktioniert sehr gut, da hat sich jemand etwas Gutes ausgedacht.Das Gerät kommt ohne Gummidichtungen aus, allerdings bleibt von dünnem Flockenfutter schon mal ein kleiner Rest in der Trommel, da diese nur dicht auf dem glatten Untergrund aufliegt, auf dem sie sich dreht. Andererseits ist das System dadurch sehr leichtgängig und kann zum säubern leicht auseinandergenommen werden. Da die 16 Fächer recht zierlich sind, kann man sie nicht leicht befüllen, trotz des mitgelieferten kleinen Löffels. Ein flugs selbst gedrehter Papiertrichter hilft aber beim Einfüllen, so dass das kein größeres Problem darstellt. Lediglich die Futtermenge muss man erst durch probieren herausfinden; normalerweise füttere ich mit den Fingern und sehe dann natürlich die Menge besser. Aber das ist Gewöhnungssache.Unterm Strich bin ich von dem Aufbau, der gleichzeitig einfach, funktional und doch dicht genug gegen Feuchtigkeit ist, überzeugt. Das Gerät soll natürlich nur als Urlaubs-Fütter-Hilfe herhalten; hin und wieder muss es jemand befüllen. Immerhin kann man aber mindestens 7 Tage damit überbrücken (bei Fütterung morgens und abends), und die Einstellmöglichkeiten der Elektronik erlauben natürlich auch Fütterpausen bis zu mehreren Tagen.Und so was wollte ich mir selber bauen? Ha. Kriegt man in dieser Qualität und vor allem zu dem Preis nicht hin. Das Teil ist _die_ Lösung, wenn man mal nicht daheim ist. Bin sehr zufrieden damit.

I can’t imagine a better feeder
I bought this feeder for my 2nd fish tank. I actually printed a return label because I thought it was broken since it would not accept a charge (type c). So I ordered another one as a replacement. Then I realized I was using my phone charger which may have been too strong. So I tried using the type c USB cord it came with an whallah! It charged right up. I am keeping both and replacing the feeder I have for my other tank with this one! Nice deep feeder slots, solidly made, easy to program, electronic controlled feeder door to keep the moisture out, long lasting battery, multiple feed modes, great attachment options. I can’t think of any way to improve this product.

Impossible to overfeed
This is perfect for the smaller tanks or lightly stocked tanks. It’s great for larger ones too but many are. This has little compartments that you load with food. Settings are so easy to navigate. The only con is it is only good for 15 feedings.

I have used auto feeders before and came back to a tank where the feeder had dumped all of the food into the tank. It took several weeks to correct and I was lucky.I was worried about using an auto feeder again after this so did some research and purchased this item.The screen was clear the food compartment perfect size and the charge held.Thus was a lot easier to set up rathe than the ones with the rotating bin. It cost me more but I needed two so cost me quite a bit more but was so worth it.I would recommend this to anyone who is worried about the experience I had originallyGreat product and worth the extra spend for peace of mind and keeping my fish safe.

Je suis ravie de ce produit qui nourrit mon poisson combattant pendant mon absence (un peu plus de 2 semaines). Il fonctionne parfaitement, pas de stress à avoir, la mangeoire fonctionne bien. Quand elle fonctionne on entend un léger grésillement pendant 2-3 secondes, en dehors de ça, elle est silencieuse. La seule chose, c’est qu’il faut bien placer la mangeoire pour que le trou destiné à la nourriture se trouve au dessus d’un trou de la plaque amovible de l’aquarium

A Terrific Feeder
We like the generous portion size of the feeding compartments. If you have fewer fish, just don’t fill the compartments up. The owner dictates how often a compartment gets dumped. Different foods can be set to dump at different times or one after the other (in case your mix of fish eat different foods).We had a barrel feeder that was awful compared to this one, which only made this one shine brighter. We now have one of these on every tank.

Fails to recharge, after only 2 months of use
Although the instructions were followed carefully, this feeder failed to recharge properly. Even though showing four bars on the battery level after overnight charging, during the next day the feeder stopped working – leaving my fish without food whilst I was away. There seems to be no way to contact the seller and get a replacement? Two months of use for this price is not acceptable.

My dad is elderly with moderate dementia, but he loves his aquarium. He wasn’t remembering if he fed the fish and so he was feeding them every time he rolled by the tank, so like ten times a day. Too much food in the tank was clouding the water and killing the fish. I tried to hide the food from him and feed the fish myself, but he worried they were hungry and shared his own meals with them- cookies, crackers, bread, etc. all floating in the aquarium. I bought this automatic feeder and explained to him that it would feed the fish twice a day. It works great and rarely needs charging. He can see it on top of the aquarium and then he knows they’ve been fed, so he doesn’t worry. I put flake food in it and it works just fine. I refill it once a week and the tank is clear and the fish are thriving.

Overview:This product is not meant for flakes, however, if you place the flakes/light food in first and your catfish tablets on top, the weight of the tablets pushes everything out 99% of the time.Pros:I love this thing. I can control times. Put in 3 different feedings a day, with up to 3 drops each, with gaps of 1-4 days between feedings. I can control exactly what and how much comes out each day. This thing is the best. It’s super easy to clean as well.Cons:The only con I have is that it only comes as “Chargeable”. I personally like cords so they can be plugged in, and I never have to worry about it. Chargeable batteries do lose their life over time, so I’d expect to have to replace it within 2 years. That being said, I love it more than any other feeder I’ve ever had.

Praktisch, aber mit Haken
Alles gut einstellbar, viele Fächer.Das befüllen ist schwierig aus folgenden Gründen:Der durchsichtige Ring lässt sich nicht arretieren, sobald man ihn bewegt fällt Futter auf die Falltür. Also besser die ersten 2 Fächer überspringen!Die Fächer sind sehr klein, besser wäre mMn die Hälfte mit je doppeltem Volumen.Die Saugnäpfe sind okay, haften aber auf meinem Jbl Deckel nicht. Da der Automat sehr sauber läuft bewegt er sich bei der Futterausgabe nicht sichtbar.Ein gutes Produkt im Vergleich zum Standard jbl Automat für das selbe Geld.Aufgeladen wird nur über ein USB-A auf USB-C Kabel, USB-C auf USB-C funktioniert nicht

Sehr guter Futterautomat auch für Futtertabletten!!
Lieferung pünktlich, wie immer! Das Gerät ist wirklich leicht zu bedienen. Die Beschreibung ist leicht verständlich und kurz. In kürze war mein Futterautomat eingestellt. Jetzt füttert er täglich 2x um 14:00 und um 21:00 und ich muss mir nur mehr Gedanken machen, ihn wieder aufzufüllen wenn alle Kammern leer sind. Das Gerät ist leise und die Futterkammern sind groß genug um mehrere Futtertabletten unter zu kriegen. Auch Flockenfutter und Granulat funktioniert bestens. Er fällt auch nicht so groß aus. Dabei sind eine Halterung, um ihn an der Scheibe zu befestigen und er hat auch 4 kleine Saugnäpfe am Boden. Ich habe eine Glasabdeckung und da haftet er perfekt. Einziges Manko, das Ausgabefach und die Saugknöpfe dahinter sollten weiter auseinander liegen. Das Gerät war schon voraufgeladen, so das der Akku, mit mitgeliefertem Kabel in ca 1 Stunde voll war. Wie lange er hält kann ich noch nicht genau sagen. Auch praktisch der kleine Löffel um das Granulat etc. einzufüllen.Klares Daumen hoch für diesen Futterautomaten 👍 Preis Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut!Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Great automatic feeder, once you get the hang of it.
I purchased this automatic feeder to feed my platys while we were on vacation. I had my reservations about this unit especially after reading some of the comments.The instructions are not the clearest in the world and quite honestly, this is designed to provide multiple feedings during the course of the day. It took a bit of fiddling around before I had this programmed properly for my acquarium. Experiment with the amount of feed that is being released by this unit before you mount it on your acquarium. There is a button for manually feeding and I found it quite useful when determining how much food should go into each slot.This feeder is ideal for granules or pellets. If you use flakes to feed your fish, they be prepared to keep it clean. I found that using a paintbrush to clean up the individual slots is the best way to clean this device.So far, I have only charged it once and it is working fine. You just have to get past the poorly written instruction manual to uncover a very good feeder.

Works great, but is not waterproof
This feeder works great, it’s easy to use and reliable. I like that I can use multiple sized fish foods in it at the same time, and that it holds over 2 weeks of food. However, be careful since this item is not waterproof. While installing it, the unit got wet and no longer turns on. I would expect that a product intended for use in and around a fish tank would be water resistant.

Modification made to stop condensation
Made a quick modification before going on hols for a week. Was worried about food opening being too close to the lid thus letting in condensation and the food going bad etc. It worked a treat and does the job. Will try to make a small platform for it to sit on as the modification i made was just a quick fix.

Petbank takes the sweat out of automatic feeding
Over the years, I have tried many different automatic feeders for my 180 gallon South American cichlid tank. One after another failed after a ridiculously complex and fragile set up process. Petbank is an entirely different story: easy to set up and completely reliable. Instructions are super comprehensible and the device works day after day without clogging on larger food, dumping or failing. Great product and no sweating bullets to set up!

I got this to help feed my fish while I am away, now I use it constantly for better feeding control.Pro: individual cups for food means that you can put a variety of foods with no problem, less likely to go bad due to moisture (like the single drum ones)Great battery life, I haven’t charged mine in almost 2 months, I want to see how long it lasts (I have it set to feed every other day)Easy to use and set upCons: Nothing really, maybe that it can only work if your fish tank lid is flat.

Good for vacations
This is a little pricier than my Fishmate feeders. However, there is the ability to set feeding intervals. So if I were gone for a month, my fish would still be fed every other day. This is recommended if you have the same need.

Fish stayed alive!
We used this for a week-long vacation and our betta fish was still alive when we returned (the food was all gone and she didn’t appear starving). Also, it was exceptionally easy to program. My only complaint is that our fish has a tendency to jump (out of her tank) so we had to think creatively as to how to rig this onto her tank without letting her get out.

Best auto-feeder for a mid to small tank. My search is over! I bought 2 more (one for each tank).
Love this auto-feeder. The feedings are portioned out, each in their own little compartment. When one of the (up to) 3 daily custom feeding times comes up, the feeder opens a trap door, and then rotates the compartment piece enough that the next food portion is quickly pushed over the open trap door and falls into the tank. Then the trap door closes to keep the rest of the food dry. I’ve tried a few of the rotating drum ones and they randomly over and under-feed my fish, depending on whether flakes get stuck in the opening or not. Very tough to control. I tried another brand of feeder, similar to this one, but the food compartments on that one rotate so slowly that the food drops in over a period of minutes, with the greediest fish eating most of the food as each flake or pellet slowly drops in. This one is sooo much easier to set up, and the food gets pushed over the opening so fast that it all falls in, much more like how I would feed them, myself. My one knock is that I wish it had replaceable batteries an/or that you could plug it into the wall to run it. I’ve charged these once and used them for a couple of 4 day trips over the last month. The indicator shows the batteries as being pretty much full still, but I fear that some day, the batteries will weaken and need to be replaced.

Good product with update
After reading reviews on the drum type I decided to buy this fish feeder. The set up is simple and the instruction is clear. It has been running for a week now and so far it’s working like a charm. There are 15 compartments that you can put food in, so if you feed your fish once a day, it will be good for 15 days which is not bad at all. One thing I noticed is if you use flakes, the static will cause some stick to the side of the compartment which will not happen to pellets. In the photo there is one small spoonful of pellets which is enough for my 12 fish as I feed them twice a day. It looks like each compartment can hold at least three spoonful of pellets. However If you use really large size pellets then this may not be the right device. So far I’m happy with this product. I will update if there is any issues.Update: it has been two weeks since I first used this feeder and so far it has been working like clockwork. At the exact set time the feeder will automatically slide open the door and the compartment will move and dump the food in. Now I just need to remember to fill the feeder every week.

Je suis parti en vacance 15 jours (rechargé complètement et première utilisation) et lorsque je suis revenu, il restait 6 jours pas utilisé…..une chance que les poissons peuvent être quelques jours sans manger.Depuis mon retour 2 semaines, il a arrêté 1 fois. J ai fait un coup manuel et pour l instant ca va.15 fev. Je passe de 3* à 1*1 à 3 manqement par semaines et il est très bien configuré. 1 repas par soir à 18h00

Great product but make sure you use the correct USB C charger!
This feeder works brilliantly, it allows the exact measurement of food by individual food compartments that are released so you can control what goes into your aquarium. It’s great that you can control how many compartments are released at once (up to 4) and at three different intervals throughout the day. It also saves a lot on batteries with it being charged by USB. Tip – Make sure when charging the feeder that you are using a compatible USB c charger, I tried using my USB c fast charge cable on this and it didn’t work. I swapped it for a lower powered USB cable and it came on immediately.

I kept all the fish alive while I was away for a week which is better than any other product I’ve used in the past, including the neighbours.Need to 3d print an adaptor so it fits the hole on the biorb better in the future though.

Great Fish Feeder
I’ve kept multiple small (~20 gallons or less) aquariums over the last 10+ years, and I’ve tried many types of auto-feeders. This one is my favorite. I love horizontal-rotation style feeders because I have direct control over the contents and portions of every feeding. Most feeders incorporate vertical-rotation and dispense too much food for a nano tank, even on the smallest portion setting. This feeder allows complete customization. I feed my fish during the day, and my shrimp at night. I feed three different foods to my fish, and three different foods to my shrimp. And I have a fasting day. I just have to refill it about once every eight days. Hopefully in the future they’ll make a white version.

The best feeder I’ve used
Battery life is months for a charge. Easy to program and works very clean and reliably. The drawers are perfectly sized and don’t mix the food in between, great for all sorts of dry food.

I Love It
I have only used the product for about a week so far. I purchased this feeder for an upcoming week long trip, and tested for that same amount of time. I was concerned at first about the size of the compartments feeling they were too small, however, I have been able to set the timer to feed the fish twice a day for 7 days (there are 14 compartments to fill), which turns out to be perfectly adequate. The programing options allow you to skip days as well. The only thing right now that could make me love it more is if I could close the lid to my tank while using it.

I’m a person who travels a lot, and of course I have family who is willing to watch over my fish while I’m gone. But there are times where they over feed him, and they’re always busy and I wanted to make everyone life’s a bit easier. So I started looking into automatic feeders.I was mainly focused on finding one with multiple compartments, but I never expected to find something like this 😩🤌🏼 it works great! I actually ordered this in November 2023, and was waiting for a while until I can officially review this! I charged it to full battery the moment it came, and it’s still has BATTERY running! and it’s been about two months! It also has multiple compartments if you feed a variety of fish foods (I haven’t tried to add frozen foods, I only added pellets and freeze dried). It also has different ways to mount it (it has suction cups and an attachment to hang). It gives you options to feed once a day up to three times a day, and it also gives you options to feed everyday, up to once every 4 days. And if you want to feed them manually, there’s a button that will automatically and instantly release food. It also comes with a little spoon to add your fish’s food into the compartments.*my only issue is the suction cups, I have a plastic lid that curves and it won’t suction onto the lid so it’s just sitting there, i think it’s just my tanks lid but idk*Overall, I’m actually pretty happy with this product. It works great, and I haven’t had any issues with it.

super Einstellmöglichkeiten. wir füttern jeden 2. Tag…klassisches Futter, Garnelenkügelchen, Tabletten für die Welse…alles in ein Fach rein… die Fächer drehen sich und die eine Öffnung haben wir etwas höher über den Fütterungsbereich, damit die Luftfeuchtigkeit nichts verklebt…da waren 7 Tage gar kein Problem…bald sehen 2 Wochen an…und mein Vertrauen in das Produkt ist groß !!! Ich werde vorher mal 14 Tage probefüttern machen…

Feed a variety of foods.
This is the only auto feeder I have found that allows me to feed different foods each day OR different foods for different fish. I can add community granules or flakes, mini algae wafers or sinking wafers for the bottom feeders to each compartment and feed a variety of fish and invertebrates in a community tank.

Good with a flaw
Everything seemed to work fine, but I noticed something when I first went to use it. While there are 16 slots, you really only get 15 feedings. When it is activated, , the trapdoor opens up under the slot dropping in whatever is contained in it, but then it remains open while it rotates to the next slot, dropping whatever is contained in that slot as well, and then the trapdoor closes. With this design, no matter how you work it, the initial feeding will drop two slots. It should’ve been designed so when it is triggered the trapdoor OPENS (dropping the food), THEN CLOSES and THEN ROTATES the wheel so that it is ready for the next feeding. Oh well, I can deal with 15 feedings.

Dont get SCAMED on pricing
I liked the item, but what i didn’t like was that when i seen the price i was not ready to buy this cause i don’t have the fish yet. But an offer came through and if i bought it in the next 15 min the price would be 24.99, so i bought it in the time frame requested. When i seen the invoice i was charged the 30.99, so watch for that scam. As far as the item i set it up gave it a few test runs and i can’t wait to see it in action when i get the fish, its a clean item and its easy to clean and set up.
