hygger 018 Clip on fish tank led light is amazing. It’s easy to use and perfect to program. There is no need to set when selecting the Default Mode. It is suitable for junior players to use in their first fish tank. It completely simulates the light of nature, and your fish will like it. There are also a variety of DAY-L/MOON-L modes, suitable for advanced players, with a variety of settings to meet some special fish species or plants.
SUN MODE (Daylight Lighting Settings)
First Button – DAY-L timer
- Timer: 6H，10H，12H
- Brightness: Default (cannot be set)
- Color:Default (Orange light from dark to bright – Full spectrum white light – Orange light from bright to dark)
6H Daylight Lighting Graph
- This mode light will simulate the sunrise – day light – sunset.
- After choosing the time, the fish thank light will run as shown by the coordinates in the picture.
10H Daylight Lighting Graph
- There are a total of 3 time options, that is to say, there are 3 kinds of lighting curves.
- This Day-L mode can be set up and used alone, or it can be set up and run in conjunction with the Moon-L mode.
12H Daylight Lighting Graph
In the next day, this mode light will start running at the same local time when the DAY-L timer button was pressed on the first day. And in each subsequent day, the light will start running at the time set on the first day.
MOON MODE (Nightlight lighting settings)
Second Button – MOON-L timer
- The second button can select the time of moonlight mode(3H, 5H, 12H);
- It is also the confirmation key for the moonlight mode setting;
Third Button – On/Off/Color
- There are 7 color options in moonlight mode (red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue and purple);
- There are 9 color choices in manual setting mode (red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple, gradient cycle and full spectrum);
- Day light color can not be selected to set
Fourth Button – Brightness
Press fourth button to adjust the brightness of the light.(10%-25%-35%-50%-75%-100%-75%-50%-35%-25%-10%).

- Press the second button for more than 3 seconds, the indicators of the 3H, 5H and 12H will be on at the same time, and then press third button to choose the color of the moonlight lighting. You can choose from 7 colors.
- Press fourth button to choose the brightness of the moonlight lighting.
- Pressthe second button to finish moonlight lighting set.
- Press the second button again to choose the moonlight lighting time, the indicator of 3H/5H12H starting flashing means the light is working.

” Far Better Than First Thought ”
OK..I own 2 Askoll tanks & (have kept tropical fish for 20+ years)..a 60L & a 100L. Both have internal ‘all-white-only-leds’ which are rubbish for plant growth!!The lights are moulded into the plastic cover & I’ve struggled to find a replacement led lamp with a full spectrum, UNTIL NOW 😊👌🌞As soon as I saw this Hygger LED panel, I knew I was onto a winner.Not only is it perfectly flat on the back, it also covers every kind of colour inc moonlight🌙& it has very good timer options too.I’ve scorched off the plastic lugs that held the lamp in place(see pics) on the Askoll, allowing a perfectly flat surface to glue this new light onto 😉..I’m well chuffed, because I can finally set up both tanks properly at long last – the Hygger panel is of solid construction & the LEDs are good quality. The cable is detachable at halfway, allowing me to set it up easily without having to worry about where the plug end is👍A very well thought out LED panel at last & from a reliable aquatic manufacturer 💦 ..I can only give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ as it has put a massive smile on my little boys face😊🐟And mine too😏

Great build and style
I really like this! Its stylish and well built, so great for rimless / lidless tanks. the light output is strong and well dispersed, so fills the tank well. The automated sequences are a great addition, though i prefer to use smart plugs, which you can’t with this unit. When power is lost to the light, you need to press the on or timer button again, so a smart plug can’t be used for precise timing. It would also be nice to have some control over colour in the timed sequence.Overall its a great light, especially for the price.

Love these lights!
Have these lights on all of my open top tanks, brilliant and keep all my plants alive! Good variety of colour changes to and timers, which is handy if your breeding your fish well worth the money I’ve used cheaper lights and it’s never been as good as these they are worth the extra spend.

Well made, quality aquarium lighting product – does everything the listing claims
Having chosen the longer light fitting this one comes with two mounting brackets as well as the transformer and integrated light/controller unit. The control buttons are separated from the end of the light unit by a short length of cable, so they can be kept away from the water.It is easy to install on a tank with a vertical glass wall to mount on – but not if you have any form of canopy. I’m using mine on a large paludarium and I havent yet found the right way to mount it – but that does not detract from the product, as it is intended to be mounted on an open tank. You can also adjust the mounting to move it closer to or further from the centre of the tank.Switch the unit on at around the time you want your timed cycle to begin, and then choose your day and moon cycle length. The next and subsequent days timers will begin 24h after the Day-length button was pressed on the first day. You can also use manual control (which will override the timer settings) to adjust the brightness of the lights and even change to coloured lights, if that takes your fancy – and then the normal timer control will resume the following day.This is a great, high quality light fitting, made from an aluminium shell and packaged in a descriptive branded box. Although I havent yet worked out how to fit it securely in my paludarium, that is just me trying to extend its use beyond the listing description. I cannot drop a single star and it is worthy of five stars from me.

Bright wide lamp

22W. 63-78cm tank light from hygger, with a nice wide spread of light perfect for the planted tank.Made from aluminium for strength and good heat dispersion.It has 4x simple and easy to set modes (you do have to start them at the exact time of day you want them to kick in though) 8x colours sets and dimming function too. You can also use the manual setting with 9x colour modes to suit your mood if preferred.The LEDs are coated in a set resin in case any moisture builds up and blows them.This longer version comes with 2x holding brackets that just slide onto the edge of the unit and fit tank walls less that 18mm thick. The light can also be moved further forward or backwards over the tank.Some of the bracket holding screws were tight and the controller was simple to use but made from cheaper plastic as well as the other plastic parts. Not what I’d have expected from hygger at this price range. The Perspex lens cover was also not fully sealed, although the LEDs were sealed as mentioned above.

Very good
Well packed and arrived quicklyI really like this light, seams very robust and has enough Hight to get do your tank maintenance without taking it off.Set up is very straight forward using the 4 buttons on the controller.Day and night settings are easy to set up, just select how many hours you want from both by clicking the associated button.you can select pretty much any colour you want but remember, full spectrum keeps everything healthy ;-).The biggest down side, as like most aquarium lights in this class is the fact that if you loose power you need to set it up from the beginning, there is no memory function.But as said really like the light, its the usual Hygger quality and price point.Big thumbs up

Top Quality and Cheap to run

I ordered the hygger full spectrum Aquarian light as I would like to set up and use it for helping plants to grow in a Terrarium filled with herbs in my kitchen. I don’t have a suitable windowsill in there so I think that as the lights revolve from sunrise to sunset and into moonlight this will be both visually beautiful and will also be very practical in that I can use the herbs in cooking and salads.The whole kit is of really good quality, its easy and light enough to clip onto any tank and will not cause stress to the glass, it runs at only 22W so is also cheap to run.This is a very nice set-up which I am sure will do the job perfectly and is well worthy of the 5 star review I have given.

Plant fish tank light
This light is for planted small fish tanks. It’s not the brightest iv tried but is fine for a small tank. Easy to set up and adjust with a control panel on the cord.

Decent light
Just an amateur when it comes to keeping fish, cold water tank under a meter. Wanted a light as where it’s positioned insufficient light hits it for the aquatic plants which weren’t cheap, didn’t fancy buying them again. Before unpacking concerned about the weight, this clips to my glass tank but need not have worried. All the weight is in the transformer, the lights and bracket assembly are mainly plastic, extremely light and offer no stress on the glass. Plenty of light despite the fact it’s a little undersized for my tank, 22W so nice and cheap to run. Got it on a timer so it emulates day / night. Locally they had nothing like this, only the fluorescent tubes which for everything (including canopy) cost more. Working fine, really rather pleased with this. Recommended.

Working very well and excellent for my aquarium plants, well made and sturdy, not as long as I’d like but still doing a great job, happy with timer settings which is very handy, basically does what it says.

This is easy to fit, cheap to run and replicates the natural pattern of day and night if used on the timer. (There’s a range of different timer settings)It is inexpensive to run, and also offers a range of colour and brightness options, which I really like.It is lightweight, despite the weight of the box, which I was worried about when it arrived. The weight isn’t in the light, but the in transformer.I think this offers great value, and am very pleased with. Can recommend! Get it now while on offer!!!
