    I bought this product about three weeks ago because of reviews and I love it. I’m pretty picky with face wash my skin started breaking out before I used it. I have also been using other face wash but I primarily use one. I upped my skin care to two face washes sometimes and mosturizer and a little oil but I do have dry skin.

    THIS STUFF IS IT!!

    I had did my research on this product after seeing videos of it on Instagram and decided to give it a try! First I used the 2% Benzoyl Peroxide creamy wash, and then I moved on to the 10%!! I highly recommend doing that if you are new to this product! You don’t want to dry your face out especially if you live in a dry climate like me! Go buy this! don’t wait!! It’s also cheaper than most cleansers!!!! ;))))

    definitely the best wash i’ve ever used, saw results within a couple weeks. although it doesn’t foam up it still works great!! it says you massage for a couple minutes, i massage it for 10-15 seconds then leave it on for a couple minutes and get better results from it!

    Madison Beer Said She Uses This So I Used It Too

    I was telling my best friend one day that I use Neutrogena acne scrub for my facial wash, and that although it worked impeccably most of my life, it was no longer cutting it, and my pimples were beginning to resurface heavily around my chin and nose again. She reassured me, saying she knew of a better, stronger solution. She raved about this face wash, and I thought, it must be pretty good.What really sold me, though, was the fact that Madison Beer uses it. Madison Beer, token it-girl, beauty queen, who’s known for her feminine, fragile doe-face and heart shaped jaw, and siren eyes. Subconsciously, something in my brain clicked; I was instantaneously sold on PanOxyl, for my confidence in it shot up ten-fold. I’ve been using it for a few weeks. I haven’t seen much change, probably because I don’t use it twice a day like the packaging reminds.My face is now developing a new place for pimples, the sides. It’s funny because, I always think of a new place on my face where I’ve never had pimples, and then I start touching it thinking, wow, lucky me. Then a few weeks later or so, those little plump balls of red puss and irritation will grace its presence.In this way, manifesting, and the way one perceives themselves, is a very powerful thing indeed. Maybe if I genuinely tricked my mind into becoming Madison Beer, I would become her in most respects. Maybe if I tricked myself into having clearer skin, I’d stop touching it, eat healthier, wash my face three times a day with PanOxyl, and genuinely achieve this seemingly impossible dream. Or maybe I can just love myself right now, instead of glamorizing unrealistic standards I set for myself daily.

    The BEST face wash I have used in a long, long time!

    I started using this face wash after it was recommended to my teenage daughter for back breakouts. I am in my 40’s and was embarrassed with the 1-3 face break outs I was constantly getting on my chin or sides of my nose. I couldn’t find a good wash that would stop them from living on my face. I decided to then try my daughter’s Panoxyl. WOW! I have very dry skin but this face was didn’t dry it out which I was afraid of! It also really cleared my skin of any breakouts. I feel so much prettier now that they’re gone! I use panoxyl day and night before bedtime. I also use a heavy Cera Ve night night cream so I do have that on too to keep moisture in. I can not say enough good things about this face wash. As long as I keep using it I feel I no longer have to worry about any nasty breakouts or cystic acne.**The only down side (but I am fine with it) is it will bleach out towels. I have a simple solution! I use a white bath towel every time.

    Not for sensitive skin or colored towels

    Definitely among the more harsh cleansers out there, but it worked quite well. It would leave my skin a bit irritated and dry, but helped with oily skin quite a bit. It also smells pretty rough, very chemically, but that is to be expected. I noticed it had a bleaching effect on my towels, if that tells you anything about how strong this stuff is.Despite all of the negative thoughts on the harshness I’d still give it 4 stars, i bought it for the strength so I shouldn’t really expect it to smell great or be kind to my skin right?

    Works amazingly!

    I’ve bought this product over and over again and it’s my go-to face wash. It does dry out your skin so it’s important to use a moisturizer afterwards. I have oily skin so it works great to clean it and make it feel as if all the oil and junk on and in my pores have been cleansed.

    This stuff works. I started getting breakouts on my chin in my early 50s read a review somewhere that this stuff worked started using it it’s really keeping my skin clear without overdrying.     I’ve always found benzoyl peroxide to strip my skin barrier and be very drying, but this formulation is lovely. It doesn’t cause any irritation, it’s gentle and hydrating. I’m really happy with this cleanser and looking forward to seeing the effects on my skin, especially on my acne.

    A Suitable Replacement for Discontinued Neutrogena Rapid Clear Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Wash

    My dermatologist has long recommended a 10% benzoyl peroxide wash. It used to be Rx only, but eventually became available OTC. I’ve used a 10% bp wash for many years.I’m in my 40s, have oily skin, and left untreated can develop acne ranging from small white heads to painful, cystic acne and folliculitis. It took me 20 years of adult life to eventually find a daily routine that generally keeps my skin clean, clear, and free of painful breakouts. The cornerstone of that routine was the Neutrogena 10% Benzoyl Peroxide wash that I found to be strong enough to serve it’s purpose but still gentle enough to not cause annoying side effects such as irritation and over dryness. Unfortunately that face wash appears to have been discontinued.PanOxyl was a product I had tried before, years ago (before I discovered the other parts of my routine which I suspect played a bigger role in it actually being effective – more on that below), and I believe it was the actual brand recommended by my dermatologist once 10% bp became available over the counter. So I knew it was a good product, and similar to what I had been using- both in price and effectiveness. So it was an easy first choice for me in trying to replace the wash I’ve relied on for some time.I’ve been using it now for a few weeks and I haven’t noticed a difference in my results, thankfully. It seems to be very similar to me and hasn’t dried my skin out completely or irritated it in any way. So for now, I think this is the one that will become my go-to. I’ve also purchased it for my 18-year old who was similarly concerned about the Neutrogena being discontinued. Seems to be working for them as well.I mentioned above that for me, there were other factors that helped make this product work better. Those factors are:*Exfoliating/washing before I shave – without doing this, shaving dirty and oily skin seems to lead to more breakouts.*I use a little silicone face scrubber to apply and scrub with the PanOxyl – after shaving -which helps clean follicles and wash away little hairs- it seems to really help avoid ingrown hairs and folliculitis, which has been awful for me at times.As I mentioned, I have found a routine that works for me- so for anyone looking for help developing their own routine to treat acne, in general, some info about me and my routine is as follows:Male, 44 years oldFull beardBald (I shave my head and around my beard approx 2-3 times per week).Shaving Days (all in shower):1. Wash face, head, and skin under beard with an exfoliating face wash (there is a Viking Revolution micro dermabrasion wash I like for this purpose, but there are a lot of products meant for pre shave wash).2. I shave using a concentrated shave cream (Cremo is what I like the most).3. I apply a nickel sized amount of PanOxyl to a silicone face scrubber, rub it around to cover it, and then gently scrub/massage it into my skin- head, neck, face, etc. in small circular motions. If I have any acne starting to form, I might seperately apply a little additional face wash to that area and scrub a little extra as well.4. Importantly, I take the time to rinse well, as the Benzoyl Peroxide can stain towels or clothes if it’s not appropriately rinsed.5. I wash my beard with a beard wash.6. I generally do not moisturize over the winter unless I start to feel dry- but everyone is different. When showering twice a day if working out, etc, I will use a mild moisturizer, but generally my skin is best balanced at this point without. When the weather is nice enough to be outside, I use a daily moisturizer for sensitive skin with sunscreen in it. If I’m going to be in the sun for extended periods, I’ll also apply higher spf sunscreen. I like Neutrogena triple protect for men as the daily.7. I see a dermatologist, and I have two prescription creams I use in tiny amounts for any flare ups. It’s pretty rare that I have to use them, and it’s usually if I am lax with my routine at all. One cream for morning and one for night. Epiduo Forte and Aczone.8. Non-shaving days I use a similar amount either in my fingers or with the scrubber to wash my face, head, neck, etc. And that’s the only product I use.If this helps anyone in any way, then it was worth putting it out there. Bottom line, this PanOxyl wash works well for me as part of my routine. I added the above context because skin types vary greatly, and it took me a lot of trial, error, research, help from a dermatologist, and persistence to finally get my acne in check. I used to think I could just use a benzoyl peroxide face wash once a day and that would be enough. For some people, maybe it is- but for me personally, I have to do a few other things to maximize it’s effectiveness.

    I use this 2-3 times a week. has reduced my body breakouts by a ton and has even eliminated it in certain areas! I apply moisturizing nonscented lotion after to reduce dryness especially in the winter. I bought again for continued use and I’m hoping I’ll be breakout free before swimsuit season.
