Perfect for small fish
I have some ember tetras in 22gal tank. They’re about 0.8in on average with small mouths. This food is the perfect size and they eat swarm around it. (What they miss, my shrimp clean up.)My suggestion is mix it with water in a separate dish and pour into the tank instead of sprinkling on top, the pieces have more room between them and it seems easier for the fish.Unless you have surface feeders, then I’d get a floating feeding ring, it keeps it contained to a specific spot in the tank.The point is, extra effort to make sure the filter doesn’t just suck it up. (Like all foods in this form.)This is definitely a small food, if you want pellets, this is not for you.My two gripes about this food: there’s no ingredient list and no krill. Whole antarctic krill instead of sword prawns would have been a better highest ingredient, better nutritional value and better color for my fish.

My Chilly Rasboras love this stuff.
I like the small size of this product for my chilly rasboras and my neocaridina shrimp. I feed 3 times a day very small amounts with no changes to my water quality so far. Been using it for last month or so while checking water parameter’s every other day and happy to say all is well.

Great option for fry and small fish
Good option for a fry food. Currently using it daily with two batches of angelfish fry to offset an evening feeding of live baby brine and as an occasional food for juvenile guppies. No complaints so far as everything eats the food happily and the fry seem intrigued as the food swirls around in the bubbles from a sponge filter

Great for greedy fish
I was having an issue with my glowlight tetras hogging all the food from their tank mates and getting crazy food bloat. With this stuff, my other fish actually have a chance of eating and the glowlights can’t overeat. The tank is much happier and more active.

Great Food
I had recently bought 2 small fire clowns. One was bigger than the other and bonded with an old Cinnamon clown and seemed to eat OK and mostly stayed on the bottom of the tank with Cinnamon clown. The other much smaller I feared was not able to eat much of the food I was broadcasting in the tank overall. Including frozen baby mysis shrimp. I tried this food today and observed the small clown darting around eating this food, So glad I bought this food as I did not expect the small clown to survive much longer. Now he is eating a lot,

The ingredients seem good quality, the babies love it. perfect size for my Molly and guppy fry. The shaker top makes it easy to dispense unlike first bites. It does strictly float (even if you try to disperse it under the water) so it takes the fry a bit to figure out at first. But they love it.

Worked perfect for our new Guppy Fry
So our Guppies had babies much faster than we anticipated, Ok I know the usually breed like crazy but to be fair the first 3 batches had nothing 6+ months in ( side note -got those from big box pet store-never again!). So the new ones we got, from much nicer place 😊, had babies almost 30 days exactly in (and haven’t stopped since!) luckily this was able to come in very quick. So we had a few days where they were just scrounging the adult food but once this came in they real started growing and thriving! The next few batches started with this from day one and are growing even better and faster that the first fry.This is a nice balance of floating and sinking. Does not clump and stayed fresh really good so far.When we need more we will defiantly be getting this, even thing about this brand to switch the adults to.

Excellent for fish fry
This has proven to be the perfect food for newborn Endler’s Livebearer fry plus the adults and subadults will wolf it down too. I feed a generous amount twice per day and the fish seem to love it. These tiny pellets stay suspended in the water column for a long time so the fish are able to swim around and snap them up one at at a time. It’s like feeding frozen baby brine shrimp or cyclops but as a dry pellet.

My angelfish fry have no problem consuming these
I guess angelfish fry are picky eaters. In addition to feeding them baby brine shrimp which I regularly hatch I supplement them with these dry food form. It’s interesting to watch them either ignore or spit out the Hikari First Bites and yet easily consume these Ultra Fresh food. I’m hoping to wean the fry off of BBS and am glad the Ultra Fresh food is a good alternative for them. At $10 a bottle it’s much more affordable than buying BBS eggs over the long run. I highly recommend this product for angelfish fry!

The Perfect Baby Fish Food
This food is perfect for the smallest baby fish. Mix a little bit in some water and swirl it around like the video shows and pour little bits in the tank. It looks just like newly hatched baby brine floating around in the water column. The food stays suspended in the water for a good while, and gives the fry enough time to eat. Glad I purchased this food.

Perfect for young nano fish
This product is great for young nano fish or nano fish that have smaller mouths. I have young and adult rocket fish (clown killifish) and they will both take this food easily and enjoy it. It only took a day or two to get used to it. Also the ingredients are clean, simple & nutritious! I keep this in my food rotation for sure!

High quality despite the claim
The ingredients seem to be very good quality, and the packaging is very snazzy. I like the shaker style lid, as it is very convenient and makes for easy, efficient feeding as you fling a dash here and a dash there. The morsels are very fine, so they remain afloat a while before slowly sinking; and are perfect for fish/fry that have tiny mouths. Contrary to the far-fetched marketing assertation, neither I nor our fish agree that this product “mimics baby brine shrimp” so take that claim with a grain of salt. Overall, a good product, and though it might be priced just a bit too high, it’s a quality food to add to the menu for your tiny-mouthed aquarium friends.

Small enough for new sparkling gourami fry!
Had a surprise batch of sparkling gourami fry in my community tank. After rescuing them from becoming food themselves and relocating to a grow out tank, realized I didn’t have any food small enough for them. Sparkler fry are so small! Only a few millimeters long – they are basically all eyes and tail, their mouths are absolutely tiny!This food is easy to use, just put a shake or two into a container, add a little tank water and swirl well to mix. I use a dropper to mix, sucking the water up and shooting it back into the container a few times, and then use the dropper to distribute it around the tank.Once the food is mixed with the water, it remains suspended for a good few minutes which allows the littles time to eat it. Any water movement in the tank will drift the particles around, looks like copepods swimming. The particles are so tiny, the sparklers were able to eat it with no issues. Whatever they missed, the amano shrimp cleaned up.Had such good results, I’m using this with my juvie CPDs as well as they prefer live food.Great product, one container will last a really long time with fry or nano fish.

Easy to feed baby koi fry
I am happy to have found this fry food. I was tired of hatching my brine shrimp and was looking for a solution to have a balanced meal for my baby koi fry. I have used about 3 different types and they all seem to keep my fish alive.This particular one is nice because it is a powder that you add some water and pour into the tank. It doesn’t need to be stored in the fridge and I can prepare it ahead of time.The others work well too and no mixing required, but need to be stored in fridge.So, I like to have both kinds on hand. My fish are now 2 months old and seem healthy. I don’t think I have lost any babies due to the food, just natural selection for the most part.Great buy and will get more next year.

Our Nano fish love it!
We have bought this brand’s variety of foods including this baby fish food. It’s perfect for our Phoenix rasbora and even the pygmy corys enjoy nibbling on it. They try to eat some of the tetra food from this brand as well but sometimes it’s still too big and they can easily eat these. They will come right to the top to grab some even. Much less waste. We love all their fish foods we have including this, tetra, betta and wafers. Highly recommended!

My one-month-old betta baby fish didn’t like it at all.
I purchased Ultra Fresh Baby Fish Food, but unfortunately, my one-month-old betta baby fish didn’t like it at all. They refused to eat it, and I haven’t been able to feed them with this food anymore. I would not recommend it for betta baby fish based on my experience.

Keeps my Goldfish Fry alive
Our 2 goldfish decided that they needed to grow their family, even though we were completely content with just 2 goldfish. We had never raised goldfish from eggs before, nor were we prepared. They laid eggs on 3 separate occasions, about a month apart. We were not in any position to hatch brine shrimp, as was recommended, so we purchased a different type of “fry food,” which gunned up the water too quickly and we lost all but 2 of the first fry in a week. We lost the second fry immediately because we followed bad advice. By the 3rd fry, we had a plan and a set up, and we purchased this newborn fish food. That batch of goldfish is still alive and doing quite well after 2 months. We have mostly just been using this food.Follow the instructions and dissolve the food into water before pouring into the tank. It floats down rather slowly and it is fun to watch the tiny goldfish chase it down. As long as you are not majorly overfeeding, the water stays much cleaner with this than any other food I have used. I highly recommend it. I hope our 2 goldfish give us a break for a very long time, as I do not want to raise any more goldfish at this time, but if they don’t, we will be purchasing this food again.Also, we are only about halfway through this bottle after feeding approximately 40 goldfish for 2 months, so I feel the value is very good as well.

Fry seemed to prefer live shrimp. But good to have when you run out of that
I tried to feed guppy fry, but they didn’t eat much. Not like they did with hatched brine shrimp. However, the other fish liked it. Since it floats on the top I just pushed it into the main tank from the breeder box and the other fish took care of it.It floats and accumulates in corners. I didn’t watch the fry the entire time and I might have just put too much. I know, the armature sin of always over feeding.I plan to keep for the next batch of fry (hopefully glo-danios) and see how they do

It’s perfect for my guppy fry
I only opened one hole my fry are more than satisfied with this mix. Once they started getting bigger I alternated with standard flake and this and the baby food is an amazing companion or stand alone as it will float for quite a bit while the little ones get their belly’s full.

My fish LOVE this stuff!
Have endlers and babies, as well as tetras and shrimp. They all seem to live this stuff AND it’s good for them. Made the baby endlers grow faster. This stuff is mico compared to flakes. But it lasts alot longer and they seem to be satiated afterwards.

this food particles are really tiny so regular fish size (tetra, betta, etc) did not recognize as food. However, it was perfect for my baby fishes.
