Best exfoliator
This is the best exfoliator I’ve ever used whatever the instructions say do NOT use it twice a day it will damage ur skin barrier you only need to use it 2-3 times a week and your face will feel so smooth it got rid of all my bumps and when I get pimples it gets rid of it in less than two days it’s a life saver. It kinda feels like an oil but it’s not oily, don’t use a lot and despite how small it is it lasted me months

Works really well but smells weird
This stuff works really well! I wouldn’t use it every day, 2-3 times a week is about right, my only issue with it is the smell, I like un scented products however this one smells like puke so I looked it up and found that I wasn’t the only one that thought so

Amazing
I started using this exfoliant with PC’s face wash, toner, and moisturizing gel. I’ve been taking photos every few weeks but haven’t in a while so when I looked back, I was absolutely stunned at how much of an improvement there was. Nothing has ever worked so well for me until this regimen. I can’t wait to see how much better and clearer my skin looks a year from now. It’s also helped reduce and virtually remove skin tags I had on my face, I’m not sure how but it’s just another plus. They were small tags but I noticed them growing. Now they just look like adorable little brown freckles lol so incredibly pleased!

Helped with my sebaceous filaments!
I have those things that look like black heads but are actually sebaceous filaments. This product helps minimize them and the appearance of my pores. I do have to use it regularly though. If I forget, the pores fill back up. Not a permanent solution but is effective.

I can’t believe I waited this long to try

IT WORKS!
I was gifted the travel version of this item and I am so happy that I tried it. With drastic results, I instantly bought the 4 FL OZ. My pores are minimized and my skin feels so smooth. I apply this product on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Twice a day, morning (with sunscreen) and before bed. I’ve struggled with having big pores and it often shows when I wear makeup. After using this for a month, I finally decided to wear makeup. My skin looks FLAWLESS even with makeup on.Downside: The smell is a little weird but I did not mind it.Overall: Great product and I highly recommend it!

JUST BUY IT AND THANK ME LATER
I was hesitant to buy skincare off Amazon and after using this for a few weeks – I’m SO glad I did! I have fairly sensitive skin (can’t use certain detergents/lotions etc) and this exfoliant is a wonderful addition to my skincare routine. I bought the smaller bottle to test it out and will be repurchasing the bigger version ASAP. This formula will do wonders for your complexion and you will notice results after the first few days – my skin was significantly more even toned, brighter & surprisingly clearer within 2-3 days. I would say my skin is on the more sensitive side (depends which day you catch me on/products I’ve used) but i did not experience redness/tingling or anything of the sort. I also break out easily and that was not a problem at all (it actually cleared my skin of blemishes fairly quick/reduced appearance of blemishes)! Huge plus.I’ve spent a ton of money on Sephora & dermatologist skincare and can vouch for the quality of this product. If you’re remotely thinking of getting this – just buy it!!!

Game changer in my skincare regimen
I don’t remember what my skin was like before Paula’s Choice but nor do I want to. I can’t even remember what prompted me to buy it in the first place but I’m so glad I did. It changed the texture of my skin within the first two weeks, eliminating alot of the texture I was conscious about. it works, it’s a staple for me, my skin is much smoother the next day, when i put on some skin serums the next night, i know its being applied to a new, fresh skin layer.the smaller bottle is perfect because i don’t use this every day (you shouldn’t)- or very often- just when my skin needs a pick me up. no fragrance, but there is a very slight smell to it, not bad though. be sure to moisturize! i use my hands to apply this, then moisturize with a thick cream after, and use sunscreen the next day (i use this before bed only)i do have very dry/cracked fingers, so when i use my fingers to apply, it does burn the cracks :(so if you have extremely sensitive skin (or fresh blemishes), do watch out as it will sting a little, maybe avoid those areas.

There was a clear results after 2 uses
Most skincare takes weeks if not months to see results. I used this product twice and the pores in my T zone were obviously smaller. I had a nose ring about 20 years ago and the scar has always looked like an oversized pore and really bothered me. I woke up this morning and that ‘oversized pore’ is the size of a regular one. I’m a believer! For me there is a slight smell that disappears within minutes and a good tingle that feels like it’s working.

The best!
Here is a picture of what I use for my face which is both oily and dry. It has been hard finding the right face products for my skin. A lot of times it would clog my large pores, or I would have white heads along with dry/ red blotchy skin. Then I researched some of Paula’s Choice products. I picked out what I thought fit my type of skin. After some adjusting my skin has been the best it has ever been. I don’t have big blackheads, white heads, dry skin, or red blotches. And it feels great. In the morning I use the face wash, eye cream, and the daily hydrating fluid lotion. At night I use the face wash, the toner (make sure you let your face completely dry afterwards before moving on), I use 3 drops of the boost (let that dry), then I put on the night oil free moisturizer.Every Tuesday night I use the exfoliate instead of the toner. You let it dry completely. It takes about 15 minutes. I usually don’t put anything on after using the exfoliate because I am too tired to wait for it to dry. It works for me.Then about once a month or every two weeks on a Friday night, after using the toner, I use exfoliate rinse off treatment. Afterwards I finish with the boost and night moisturizer.

Milia diffuser maybe?
You want to know what really grinds my gears? When a customer posts a review that has a picture of the bottle and nothing else. Unless the bottle was not delivered in tact, who does this serve? You’re reading reviews to see how this product will effect your skin, not to see a picture of the bottle. Be more helpful.The “day 3” picture was taken 10/05/23 at night. I’m just shy of 38 if that helps. The other picture was taken 11/08/23 in the morning. The difference in my skin tone is the morning light and my sunscreen. Otherwise no filters. With the exception of a few nights, I’ve been using this product nightly.I notice that my milia under my eye are softer and less clumped together so I think it’s working? However, I have noticed that if I use this BHA product and get my versed moisturizer or smooth landing eye balm in the same area, my skin reacts (swells, turns a weird brown color). So be warned about using it with other skin care products. On its own, it’s been pretty gentle. But that is frustrating that a product I use at night around my eyes limits other products that are recommended to be used at night for my eyes. I guess pick your battles?

Works great but maybe not for sensitive skin!
I have semi-sensitive skin and so I only use this once a day instead of twice. I make sure to add plenty of moisturizer after because this is very drying. If your skin can handle it, then I would definitely recommend. I have only been using this for maybe a week now and already notice a difference. I don’t really get a lot of breakouts but I did want to clear out my pores and even my skin tone and I think this is doing just that. Will definitely be ordering another bottle when this one runs out! If you are looking for a more hydrating toner that will do the same thing, the one I use in the morning is by cerave. It’s a hydrating toner and my skin seems to love it!

I bought this not knowing if it would make a difference. I gave T zone oily skin. I would break out here or there every other month. I started using this every night and my skin is glowing. You will not regret buying this!!!!
For YEARS I had what I thought were blackheads all over my nose. I’ve tried extraction tools, strips, everything it seemed like. Turns out I needed to attack the root of the problem – enlarged pores. I put this on my nose every night before bed and in just two weeks, the difference is so noticeable. I would say my pores/visibility of them has reduced by 50% already. I can’t wait to see what continues to improve!

Love the product but the instructions are dangerous
The product is absolutely amazing absolutely nothing wrong with it! I love it! However the instructions say to work your way up to 2x a day and being a skincare specialist I can’t agree with those directions, that would completely destroy your skin’s protective barrier! But at the end of the day if you use it as you should use a chemical exfoliation than the product is amazing!

Let me start by saying I have congested skin, so I know I need an exfoliant. I have used a large number of scrubs, peels, etc. throughout the years and most were bleh. I had become frustrated recently once again with my skin needing help and I saw this item. I decided to try it, and I have used it two nights in a row.Outcome: I could see a significant difference after just the first night. This morning after the second night/application, I still saw an improvement. I am excited that my skin is looking smoother, clearer, and has smaller pores after just two days. I repeat TWO DAYS. I will keep putting it on every night since it does leave a bit of a residue on the skin that I feel I would not like during the day (but maybe it was because I put a lot of it on). Overall, I will continue to use it. And for it being as effective as it is, I don’t think it’s going to irritate or make my skin red like some other exfoliants have used. But if anything changes I will update my review. Right now, if I could give this 10 stars I would.Also, I feel like this will only help people who have skin that needs exfoliating. If you have decent skin or skin that doesn’t need exfoliating, it may not be that amazing nor effective. But it all depends on what your skin needs, so if you have any needs that this product addresses I think you should give it a go. It at least won’t harm or irritate your skin.*Disclaimer: I put on a significant amount of this both nights, probably about a good double dose all over my face and the front of my neck and rubbed it in a bit with the cotton pad. I am certain this sped up the exfoliating process, and as I continue to use it I will probably go down to putting on just one application rather than a double application each night. I may eventually go to every other night, but that remains to be seen. I will just go with the flow and do whatever my skin needs. So far, amazingly effective.UPDATE: After the 3rd double application last night, I am STILL seeing an improvement in my skin. I will go down to a normal nightly application starting tonight since my skin is feeling a bit tight. It isn’t inflamed but I can tell it could become irritated if I continue double strength applications daily. And my skin is much improved already, so there is no reason to risk irritation. I will update how the regular single application works. Oh, I am seeing wrinkles diminish as well under and around my eyes!UPDATE #2: After the normal single application last night my skin is still improving. It doesn’t feel as tight as yesterday, so it was a good I listened to my skin. Will continue with single layer nightly applications! Still loving it!UPDATE #3: After several more days of using it only at night and an overall single application (with a little extra on certain areas of my face), my skin is still continuing to improve. I am definitely sold on this.UPDATE #4: After almost another week of use it feels like my skin has gotten used to it so I will be using a light coating in the morning with moisturizer afterward, and a heavy application at night also with moisturizer after. I will let the exfoliant fully dry before putting on the moisturizer to make sure it stays where it should. I will report back on how it goes. Fine lines are diminishing and it seems like a few darker spots on my face are slowly lightening. So far, I am still loving it. (I am also putting it on the front of my neck and upper chest and it’s helping there as well.) HOWEVER, I am not a person who puts on foundation or much makeup, so I am not sure how using this during the day would affect someone the foundation staying in place or not. Once I am back to my normal work outside the house I may decide to use it only at night, we will see.UPDATE #5: I am still using this daily twice a day and still seeing improvement in my skin. A few darker patches of skin near my temples are lightening, my pores are still getting smaller, and my fine lines are still diminishing. If you actually understand how to use it, it’s amazing.
My skin type:- Very Dry, easily dehydrated- Oily nose- Prone to stubborn acne and closed comedones- Redness on chin and cheeks (not rosacea)I already use a nightly Tretinoin cream (.04% concentration) to help with my acne and premature signs of aging but decided with my derm that incorporating a BHA would be a good idea to help with my seriously stubborn closed comedones and some irritating textural issues. It was between this and the Cerave SA lotion and I ultimately decided on this due to the higher concentration of salicylic acid.It’s moisturizing, and feels sticky for the first 5-10 minutes after application but seems to sinks in to something of a satin finish on me and I can no longer feel it on my skin. You just have to be a little patient. My skin feels well hydrated and plump after it settles and looks really smooth and my pores aren’t as obvious. It sits just fine under makeup for me but I’m not a new user to chemical exfoliants so I don’t have lots of dead skin pilling up or sloughing off when I use it, my skin is, for the most part, already very smooth outside the acne and CCs. Occasionally I’ll apply it further down my neck/decolletage than usual and WOW do I old skin just ball up and peel right away – it’s so gross but also satisfying. So those that don’t exfoliate often or are new to BHA/AHAs will likely have issues with foundation until their skin adjusts (but it will adjust). My advice in those cases is to either use this at night for the first few weeks or just accept going barefaced for a little while if you can.I’d strongly suggest not applying this product over anything that you feel does not dry down fully, the times I’ve attempted to use it after serums or heavier products it takes forever to sink in and sometimes never fully does. I save all my serums and essences for after this has absorbed and it’s far easier to work with it as a result. My steps go like this most days: ACWell Licorice toner — PC 2% BHA — 10% Niacinamide serum — TO Matryxil serum — Secret Key Black Snail cream or Syn-ake cream w/ 3 drops Stratia Fortify oil — Sunscreen.It works fairly quickly IMO, on my neck where I typically don’t apply my Tret at night I noticed the peeling and balling of dead skin on day one and on my face where I have a patch of really awful CCs I noticed them getting smaller and smoother by around day 3-4. I’m going on about 8 days now and they’re barely visible unless I’m right up in the mirror and feel as if they’re almost gone when I touch my fingers to that area. I do have some slight peeling of the skin around my mouth and nose but it’s not terrible (likely because I already exfoliate the heck out of my skin with the tret).Some tips and things keep in mind:1)DO NOT RINSE IT OFF. I don’t understand some of the top reviews advising people to do that, it says on the bottle not to rinse and nearly all chemical exfoliators are meant to be left on until the next cleansing specifically so they can do their job. If you rinse it off you’re either going to prevent it from properly exfoliating or end up irritating the hell out of your skin. If you have oily skin and feel this might be heavy on you than you can probably just use this on bare skin and then sunscreen if you use in the AM or a lightweight lotion/cream and be done with it, but you need to leave it on your skin.2)You have got to use sunscreen while you’re using this product! Any BHA or AHA exfoliant causes increased sun sensitivity and you have to address that in your routine. You should already use sunscreen daily but it becomes a must when you incorporate a chemical exfoliator or you risk sun damage.3)Less is more! Don’t slop this on your face or soak a cotton pad in it, a little goes a long way and you’ll be kicking yourself if you apply way too much and have to wait 20+ minutes for it to sink in. Use a shake or two and add more if needed but go easy.4)Expect some irritation initially. Chemical exfoliants can be harsh and rough even on sturdy skin and you have to give yourself time to adjust. Over-exfoliation is a possibility but sometimes just introducing a BHA or AHA into your routine can cause some sensitivity. Don’t panic and just be gentle to your skin. Use ceramides (like Cerave Skin Renewing cream) or fatty oils to soothe your face if needed and try to stay away from any harsh products or acids like Vitamin C right after applying this to avoid really burning your face.

This exfoliant didn’t disappoint, worth the splurge!
I have been using this exfoliant for almost 2 months and I’m a big fan.For my whole life i’ve been struggling with enlarged pores, uneven skin tone and occasional breakouts. My skin type is oily however i also get dry around my nose area and chin.I am really surprised how this product changed my skin in 2 short months. My pores are significantly reduces and the overall texture of my skin feels very smooth.I use it once a day in the evening, 5-6 drops after i apply moisturizing toner. I did my research to ensure this product does not conflict with Retinol (which i use every other night) and i finish my routine with a moisturizer.I don’t know if i can give 100% credit for significant skin improvement just to this Exfoliant, however i am confident that it integrated very well with my skincare routine and is contributing to a great overall result.

My skin is improving !!!!
I like this product after using a few times. I’m seeing shrinkage in pores in general, a smoothness already. Also I see my face looking a little brighter as well. I starting with a 1oz bottle but will definitely buy larger size when low on the 1oz. I have very sensitive fair skin that felt rough to the touch, like a plaque build up. I learned grainy type exfoliators can tear the skin and ruin your skin barrier, many are so drying as well. I gave this a chance with all the reviews. I’m happy I tried it and my sensitive skin is not at all irritated by it. I do wear a good sunscreen in the daytime as recommended when using this. Am I pleased? Yes, yes, yes !!!! 👍🏻👏🏻

Smaller pores!
I’ve been using the travel size for like a week or so and can already see a difference. That’s just using it ONCE DAILY. It’s hard to tell how much to really put on (I use my hands to get the most product use). I don’t mind the bit of greasiness it has bc my skins so dry it just absorbs it super quickly. My only complain is the price but it is what it is. Skin care is expensive any way you go

In my case, I used it too much at first, and my skin was dry and flaky. First time I bought this was in Sephora (same price) after it was recommended to me. Loved it so much but the closest Sephora to me is a good 30 min drive. Amazon was faster.I use this about 2x weekly to help clear up my pores and smooth over my skin. Just a few drops on a cotton pad. It’s almost like it helps clean off any dirt and oil that may be left after face washing. In Sephora, the sales associate mentioned it helps reduce the size of pores. Keep it away from your eyes!!The tiny bottle last me about 5-6 months.If you’ve ever used NuSkin products before; this is very similar to the NuSkin 2 step cleaning and clarifying pads. But this is way better and last longer.

Miracle in a bottle.
I hardly use many products on my face. But lately I have been testing with new things as I am entering my 30’s. Ordered the small bottle. I highly recommend. I have seem overall inprovement with the texture and coloration of my skin after using the product for two weeks now. My dark spots are diminishing. I still have plenty of product to use, and it makes my face feels so good and soft. I highly recommend. Will be ordering the large bottle next time.

Safe and effective way to exfoliate skin
I have used several brands of face exfoliators, and this truly”clean/nontoxic” brand definitely gets the job done. After I wash my face, I douse a cotton pad and wipe my entire face with it. I do not experience any redness, or stinging, which other brands, sometimes cause. The only complaint, is the price. Not sure if I will be able to afford to keep it in my skincare regiment.

This product saves my life! 😍
I was struggling my whole life with the things on my nose, they’re not even a blackheads. Whatever I tried to get rid of them nothing works! UNTIL I TRIED THIS THING! and booooom my skin became amazing! The dots on my nose are barely shown! My whole skin became amazing and wonderful and it adds a lot for my face!Usually I use it with Niacinamide and get the miracles😍😍Note: it smells a little bad when you get it close to your nose but it’s ok, it’s not that bad.

I started using this about 6 months ago. I wish I had better before and after pictures but basically my skin is definitely different. I’ve been into skincare for a while but wanted to add something a little stronger to my routine. This was perfect. I only use a out 4 drops and it covers my entire face. I use my fingers to apply because I think a cotton ball would absorb too much. I use it after I wash my face, then this, then snail mucin, hyaluronic acid serum, and SPF or nighttime moisturizer. I’m about to be 39 and I still get told I look too young to have a 12 year old. I did not give myself time to ease into it. I used it twice a day from the day I got it with no irritation. I have fairly sensitive skin and I haven’t had any redness or anything. Highly recommend this!

Problem with the production/filling process of the product.
Firtst time purchasing the product…the inside plastic dispenser was inserted sideways and the outer lid was loose….alot of the product was spilled inside the plastic wrapping. I will still try the product to see how it works, just disappointed in the filling process of the product.

Extra clean
I have used this after I have washed my face within about 20 mins and still gets dirt off my face. I do use in the mornings as well and some dirt/face oils have made my pores clean. Nice for a refreshing feeling.Does dry the skin a bit but I put on facial lotion a few minutes after use and helps
