Fries food well!
We use this to fry fish, FF, corn nuggets, hush puppies etc. Easy to use & does a great job! Also there is no mess from oil splatting on stove top like there is when using a frying pan. And it doesn’t require anymore oil than a deep frying pan. Our last one lasted for several years. This one is perfect for 2-3 people. If you are cooking for a family will need a bigger one so you can fry more at one time. It’s a good price, lasts a long time & makes frying food easier! Will buy again one day!

Poor performance, poorly made
When I put my fryer on the counter it had a slight tilt in the front left corner. Annoying but I was eager to use it. The description of heats instantly and cooks food quickly is a gross exaggeration. I don’t call 5 or so minutes instantaneous. The mini pierogies said 3 minutes at 350 or until golden brown. Nine minutes later they were puffy but not even slightly golden brown. I doubt the oil was actually at 350. After I finished, the metal housing on the left corner was completely on the counter, severely tilting. We pulled that bottom side with the leg back down after draining the oil. The housing is so poorly constructed that it won’t hold the bottom down and after a few minutes on the counter, the corner was all the way down again and the fryer tilting. It on its way back to Amazon. I bought this one because it had more good reviews than the Chefman. What a mistake. I’m heading to a local store to check out the quality before I buy.

The basket handle pulls out people!!
I read so many reviews that said that the lid of the fryer did not come down all of the way because of the handle of the basket isnt long enough. Listen everyone, the basket handle is adjustable!! Hold on to the basket and pull the handle outward. It come out about an inch and thus fits perfectly with the fryer lid down ! I’ve only used it twice now. I made French fries ( home made ) and they were a little soft. I’m gonna buy some frozen ones and see if they are crispy. I made frozen potato cakes and they were crisp. The fryer heated up super fast and everyone is correct on it being small but it’s supposed to be. I’m a widow so it’s perfect for me. Actually, you can make fries for twoAnd I fit two potato cakes in it. I want to try a breaded pork chop and chicken fried steakIf you fry with the basket out it does fit a little more. Maybe 2 med chops and 3-4 chicken strips. It’s function is exactly what it is advertised to do. Nice, compact, takes approximately 2 cups of oil which I have reused. If I fry any meats or fish ( sticks) yumm….. I will put fresh oil in it but with veggies I’m not worried to reuse it. The handles and lid really doesn’t get very hotI had no trouble with the magnetic cord so I feel the unit is safe. Just use the normal precautions like making sure it is pushed back enough on your counter that it can’t be pushed or knocked off somehow by a pet or a kid. It cleans up easily. Personally, I really like it and feel it’s exactly what I needed for myself as far as size. I want to order a fryer cook book because I know there are recipes I would like to try. I don’t eat fried foods every day but when I’m craving something fried this little fryer is just what the doctor ordered. Fried foods are not bad for you if you eat them on occasionHey, how about some apple fritters !! Gotta go……. am running up to the grocery store for a couple of apples !! If you are just one or two people in your household, go ahead and buy one of these special little fryers. You won’t be sorry!

Nice small size for small ares
This is a nice mini fry pot made for the single person. Holds one qt. of oil. Heats in seven minutes to 375. Has seven temp. settings. Comes with basket. The only thing I do not like is the magnetic plug, it tends to come out.

Good things come in small packages
Pleasantly surprised that this little deep fryer outperformed my standard. We did not expect much since it was inexpensive. We used it to fry about 150 mini egg rolls and they cooked so nicely. We did them in small batches so it was a process and the only downside was the basket does not sit evenly but it worked out great. Parts are easy to clean and stores nicely because of its size. It worked out great for us.

Cute and small
I bought this deep fryer with great expectations. There are a couple of things I’m disappointed about. 1st the cord that attaches to the fryer is hard to stay on due to it being magnetized in the back. Several times it came disconnected when starting it up.Also, it’s quite a bit smaller than I thought. Having said that, the basket is well made and when the oil finally heats up it works well. There is no greasy odor or splashing. I give it a hard 4 stars!

Great for small meals
It’s pretty small and is great for a small meal. Due to its size it uses less oil. I was able to make 3 chicken tenders at a time. So far we cooked calamari and chicken tenders. Food came out good. Cleaning was easy as it all comes apart.

Good enough to make flautas
I got the 1.5 liter. It is small, but good enough to make 3- 4 flautas. You can’t lay a tortilla flat on it though. The corner of the tortilla will be pushed up, in case you wanted to make flat tostadas.One medium size onion fits good with room to spare.Cleaning is easy.

Perfect fried dough
This little fryer arrived at my door less then 24 hours after I ordered so great service there. Easy to set up and operate. I make fried dough (zeppole) on Christmas Eve and wanted a fryer with temp control and this worked out great. If you’re going to use this infrequently it’s perfect but if you’re a person who likes to deep fry I suggest a Fry Daddy they are just better constructed. This fryer is also small so a chicken leg or one small breast at a time as far as fries go a couple to 3 cups max. I found it odd that it didn’t come with any materials like instructions even tho it was easy to assemble. I’ve purchase a lot of kitchen cooking gadgets and they always have something that speaks to replacement parts, temperature control or recipes. I’m feeling like this was purchased, opened and returned missing the paper work that generally would accompany such a purchase. Again for me it served its purpose it was easy to take apart, dump and wash until next year. Good Luck.

Cooks just like a fryer should
I like temp control and the hook on th basket allowing excess oil to drain back into fryer. The lid and filter work but have to be removed and set aside on a surface you don’t mind oil or water residue falling off of it.

Catches fire before 1 year
I bought this 10 months ago to replace a larger fryer that was just to large to use regularly. I would like to give this fryer 5 stars as it has been wonderful to use. I have really only used it to cook french fries for the kids. It has been used it about once a week, more or less. I bought it in January with two other items:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B2J528SRhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077MFYJZ5Since then, looking through my Kroger grocery app, I have bought a 5lb bag of potatoes about once a month, and I usually use it 4 times to go through 1 bag in about 2 weeks, so I estimate I have used this about 40 times total at most. Anyway, I didn’t expect it would totally destroy the power connection and catch fire by only using it once a week on average. It was a good little fryer for frying small quantities, and since I only used it for french fries, I rarely needed to change the oil.Anyway, I would really like to buy another one because it was really convenient to use and was a good little fryer. But the fact that the power connection doesn’t last that long especially being so dangerous potentially causing an oil fire, I simply can’t risk repurchasing it. Good thing I was standing by when it caught fire, had I left it unattended while cooking like I usually do it could have been disastrous.

It’s a small deep fryer…one serving of fries
I like this deep fryer. It works great. But it is smaller than I thought it would be and the basket does not sit level. Its okay that the basket tilts to one side a little, didn’t seem to affect the cooking process, but seems like it should sit flat against the bottom of the fryer. Overall I’m happy with this product for the price.

Perfect Little Fryer
So let me just start by saying that I am single and in my early twenties, I live alone and I cannot eat out or enjoy the occasional fried delight without getting sick because of the over processed foods available outside of my home. With that being said, this little fryer is my new favorite cooking appliance for those needs. It’s a little odd, I read the reviews before I bought it and found some whiny complaints about how this fryer works and I’d like to point out a few things; the manual clearly states detach the basket handle to completely close the fryer while cooking if that’s your preference, and do not fill past the max line and make sure food is completely dry before putting food in the unit to prevent overflow. This is my first day using this for making ranch wings, and no spillage, no accidents, no nothing that wasn’t short of just reading and common sense use of the device. My wings are small since I bought them from wholefoods and they are organic so I can fit about four to five decent sized pieces in the basket. I do not mind the lid being all the way open or slightly ajar because of the handle, and even with it open I’m not getting a significantly strong fried food smell in my apartment as long as the vent is on. This unit doesn’t take much oil at all, I’d say roughly two cups min, less than three at the max. My food tastes amazing, it only took me three rounds to make 1lb of wings, which is a win to me. The units oil chamber does not detach from it but you can store oil in it and use it twenty batches over or until it’s dirty and needs to be replaced with fresh oil. The Fryer is also great space wise because it’s so small and doesn’t take up much counter space nor cabinet space.I bought this used from amazon warehouse deals to save money and the only thing wrong with the appliance was a dinged up box but I knew that was expected. The appliance works beautifully and I would recommend someone in my exact position to try it out. Beats having an oversized expensive air fryer that takes up too much counter and cabinet space

What you need to know before buying!
I just tried out this little fryer today for the first time. Here is my review on this. Pros: are it is small and uses little oil so it can be refreshed at a minimal cost. having an adjustable temp control is also good. The build quality is good for the price point. Cons: the frying bin is not removable for cleaning, cleaning should be done by draining out all the oil first and wiping out residue and oil with paper towels. Or you can use a damp sponge with soapy water to wipe it out, then rinse the sponge and wipe out soapy residue, then dry with paper towels or microfiber towel. The cooking basket is easy to wash as it is removable. The only other negative I can complain about is the magnetic electrical connector is weak and dose not attach itself in a secure manner. You have to orient it carefully into position and wiggle it gently to verify a solid fit. It will disconnect very easily so the fryer should not be moved around once you have started to use it. It is also recommended to straighten out the kinks and bends in the power cord before use as they will also cause the magnetic plug connection to become unplugged. These 2 things are not so bad as to have to return it. It cooks well and hopefully the manufacture will upgrade the magnetic plug. I recommend buying it as long as you know what you are getting first.

Pretty good
It’s a bit hard to clean, but it does exactly what it says it does. I use an oil solidifier to get rid of the oil, then I fill it with water and boil it to sanitize it! You could probably use it as a boiler as well, like if you wanted to make hard boiled eggs. Then you can fry them to make tiger skin eggs!

Burned the food
I wanted to love this deep fryer. We were hopeful this deep fryer could fry small food items and utilize less counter space. Instead it burnt the food items, started smoking profusely, and almost caught fire. Wr are requesting a refund. If I can say anything positive…..it looks good.

Pretty good fryer but arrived with damage
I received my fryer on time. Arrived in ripped/torn box inside a plastic bag. Very poor packaging. The fryer was dented on the side by the handle. I am not sending it back and will keep it because it works good. They need to pay more attention to packaging and inspecting of the actual box it is in before shipping. This would have gotten a better review except for the damage on the fryer.

Where’s The Minimum/Maximum
The fryer works pretty well and is big enough for 2 or 3 servings of fries, but I wasn’t sure how much oil to put in. The instructions mentioned to fill up between two markings, a minimum and maximum, but I could not see the markings anywhere inside or out of the machine. Being my first deep fryer, I overfilled it and burned myself a little when it looked like the oil might bubble over the top and I tried to stop it.Besides a lack of visual markings, it definitely works well and is good for a compact space.

very hard to keep power supply connected
very hard to keep power supply connected. I know its a safety mechanism so if a child or someone else pulls on the wire, it will disconnect from the pot and keep the whole thing from seriously burning someone and I really do appreciate it but I am constantly hooking it back up. it does not stay connected even at just 2 ft away from the outlet. when its working, it is just the right size for me—one person and it can be used with or without the basket or lid.with the connectivity problem with the power cord, it is very hard to bring it up to cooking temperature or to keep it hot. there is no warning when it is disconnected except for the power light the power light goes off when it reaches the selected cooking temp but it also goes off when the cord isn’t connected which is about every 2 or 3 minutes

THIS DEEP FRYER I HAVE BEEN WANTING SO LONG. I DON’T LIKE TO BUY EXPENSIVE THINGS SO FOR THIS TO BE $20 SOMETHING I FREAKN 💕 IT. I AM PREGNANT SO I HAVE BEEN WANTING SOME RESTAURANT QUALITY FOOD AND THIS DEFINITELY DID IT FOR ME. THIS IS TRULY A MUST BUY. I READ REVIEWS BUT I LIKE TO TEST PRODUCTS OUT FOR MYSELF AND OF COURSE IF IT DOESN’T WORK AND I CAN RETURN IT IM GOING TO TAKE THAT CHANCE. EVERYTHING ON THIS DEEP FRYER DOES WORK AND IT DOES COME WITH A LID. IT GETS HOT IN ABOUT 5 MIN SO THE SPEED IS GOOD AND EASY TO CLEAN AS WELL THE FOOD TASTES GREAT.THANK YOU FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL PRODUCT 💞💯💞💯💞💯💞💯💞💯

Good product!
The media could not be loaded.
It’s amazing! I used it to fry 14 pieces of chicken and they all came out amazing!! My only thing is that the basket doesn’t sit firm.It’s always tilting and if u don’t hold it or put something underneath the handle of the basket,your food won’t fry evenly.But that’s a minor issue that can be dealt with.Other than that, I love it!!

Great for one or two portions…
Smallish footprint, 1/2 gallon of oil capacity. Great for one or two helpings. Warms to 400° in 4-5 minutes.Basket rests on heating element while cooking, making basket sit a little crooked. But seems to be ok.

Ok for the price

I wanted a small fryer to occasionally enjoy some fried chicken. The size is super small. It can only hold 3 wings, drum portion. The fryer is made of a somewhat cheap plastic. The plug will be a headache if you’re not super close to an outlet. It comes to temperature fairly fast. In order to prevent over browning you will need to fry at a relatively low temperature. Others stated that you only needed 2 cups of oil, that did not come close to covering the chicken, I used an entire 40 ounces bottle and wished I had more. Overall, I would recommend for the price and for a single person. It does what it is supposed to do.

After Initial Use, It Seems Like It’s Leaking
Easy to use, easy to clean and the temperature control allows for even, perfect heating the oil and the unit does heat up pretty quickly. Fries food nicely. But it seems to slightly leak oil as it cools down. Is that normal? Should it be returned? Wondering if anyone else has had this experience.
