Perfect size for 1-4 people.
This rice cooker delivers! The rice cooker is compact and the perfect size for one meal if you’re serving 1-4 people. I have found that is doesn’t “burn” the rice on “warm” but rather the rice begins to form a brown, crust-like layer when left on “warm” for an extended amount of time. That doesn’t bother us, as the rice on top is remains perfectly good for eating. Don’t hesitate to buy this great little rice cooker!

Best Rice Cooker
I have owned this model for years and I prefer it over all the bigger, fancier ones. I bought this one as a gift because I like mine so much. Some of the nonstick on mine has worn down over the years, but it doesn’t stick too bad. The size is perfect for a family and it’s quick, easy, and convenient.

Great little rice cooker
I bought this to replace my old Aroma rice cooker because the non stick coating on the pan on the old one was wearing off and causing some rice to stick, and the pan cost almost as much as a whole new cooker, so I decided to just buy the whole thing. My old one lasted around 8 years, so it was definitely worth it to me. I know there are more expensive ones out there, but I have been happy with this purchase. The new one seems to be the same quality as the old one, so I am hoping it lasts just as long.

Easy…but definitely can’t do it all
Our instapot. which was mostly used for rice, broke so we decided to make the swap to something that would take up less counter/storage space. This rice cooker does the trick for the standard short grain rice, but isn’t ideal for brown or basmati. The instructions aren’t very thorough, which may be why it’s taken me a minute to get good at cooking a variety of grains. That being said, it’s light, small, and overall as good, if not better, than the istapot

Only one problem…
… the only way to turn this off is TO UNPLUG IT FROM THE WALL!!! What kind of genius ever designed this idiotic feature?? If you do not unplug it each and every time you use it, it will remain in the “WARM” mode. If you can tell me of even ONE appliance where you have to entirely unplug the entire unit just to turn it off, it will be the first time I’ve heard of this, and I’m 75-years old.

Repurchasing after having for years!
I love this rice cooker. I used it for 3 years and mine finally gave up on me. I repurchased this one (same exact one) and I hope it works for another few years. I used it almost daily (sometimes twice a day) and didn’t really follow the care instructions but it still held up for a long time!

This is a great little product.
The only thing this product needs to be perfect is some sort of cord management. Short of securing the cord with a rubber band or a cable tie, there is a couple feet of cord just hanging off the back of the cooker. One of their engineers should be able to fashion some means to deal with this as part of the appliances exterior body.

Airline Proof Rice Cooker Extraordinare
My husband has to eat a very particular diet due to chronic illness and I got tired of paying for overpriced food in random cities when we travel for work. WELL finally we purchased this little guy and shoved him it into my husbands backpack, sent it through checked luggage, and had the easiest week of eating while traveling we’ve ever had! The rice cooker held up through the airport (not even in the box, mind you) and gave us delicious quinoa for a week. We’ve now brought it to Houston & Seattle and will be taking it overseas with us in March. BUY IT! It is durable, foolproof, and affordable. My 3 favorite things!

Simple and effective
This is a super simple rice maker, I use it all the time. I had one (of this exact model) and needed another for another location, and bought the same one. Makes rice perfect every time. It’s big enough to feed probably 5 adults with a single batch, if the rice was the main course. So it’s a good medium size. I’d buy again if I needed another one.

Simple to use, incredibly easy to clean, cooks very well
This might be one of the most “worth-it” purchases I’ve ever made. I eat a TON of rice and quinoa, and use this almost every single day. It’s incredibly simple to use, and I’ve found that the suggested measurement lines for filling the water are spot on. It’s also SO EASY TO CLEAN! Something about the material of the inside of the pot makes it so that the rice never sticks, and it is awesome. Would recommend this for anyone looking for a cheap but effective rice cooker (especially college students like me).

Nice little rice maker and easy to use and clean but rice was a bit crunchy
A good little rice cooker for the price BUT it needs to have a few settings so you can adjust how well the rice is cooked. I like my rice somewhat more cooked so it is soft. This unit leaves rice a little crunchy (if that is the way you like your rice). To be fair, I am going to add more water and then let it sit longer when done to see if it comes out better by having some more time to absorb the water. Will try to update.

I love it
It’s small enough to move around in the kitchen and not take too much space. I do wish the cord was longer, but that’s about it. I can have rice done perfectly in 20 minutes without having to baby it. It’s easy to clean and easy to use. If you need a rice cooker, just get this one. It’s pretty good and I use it multiple times a week.

This is my third one of this pot. I have one for me, one for my mom, and one for when I travel. It’s easy to clean and it makes perfect rice. I love that it’s a set-it-and-forget-it kind of thing. It takes about 22 minutes to cook rice. Use a timer and you will never have to worry about clumpy or burnt rice ever again. This item and a preset timer for 22 minutes make a great gift for a busy person like a teacher or student. This is also great for the elderly who are getting forgetful and it’s easy to use because it’s one button to slide.

Love!
Oh how I wish I would have bought this sooner!! I was so sick of the water boiling over on the stove and making a mess. This thing is a life saver! Just rinse the rice and add it and the water, then flip it on. It automatically turns to warm mode when it’s done. Game changer! The spoon it came with is like a large plastic disposable spoon – kind of flimsy, but it works.

Long time Aroma user
I live in Louisiana where rice is an everyday meal, literally. I have used this same Aroma rice cooker for almost 20 years and it still cooks perfect rice. I ordered this new one for my son who just set up housekeeping in a new home. Although I have the larger size too, I find this is the go-to for daily use. It allows you to cook from 1-6 cups which makes it perfect in my opinion. Hint: I use slightly less water than called for when making rice for gumbo or any rice dish that will absorb liquid after it is served.

The more I use it, the more I like it
I wasn’t sure that I wanted to keep this after my first use. It splattered and made a little bit of a mess around the lid. However, I’ve used it several times since then and it hasn’t splattered again.I bought this right before moving to a new apartment and it’s come in so handy. I got sick as soon as I moved and was unable to unpack my kitchen things right away. I also hadn’t turned the gas on yet. Nevertheless, I was able to make soups in this and reheat leftovers with little effort. Additionally, clean up is a cinch.This is great for one person or dorm cooking.

There is a wide variety of rice cookers on the market, along with a wide variety of price points! If ease of use and a very attractive price appeal to you, then this is the appliance for you.Both the measuring cup and the paddle included are perfectly functional. And if you rinse the raw rice well and use the proper amount of water, you’ll be rewarded with rice that would make any Asian restaurant proud.Because of my low vision, the water-level numbers stamped inside the black pot are useless to me. But by using the time-honored Asian “finger” method of measurement, I added exactly the right amount of water for fluffy, perfectly-cooked rice.Highly recommended!

This is a Great Product
This is my first rice cooker. I’ve always just used minute rice, but decided I really wanted to try a rice cooker. Found this small Aroma brand, inexpensive and small enough for one person. It takes no time at all to make the rice, wash it off, put it into the pan with water, press the lever and in about a half hour you have perfectly cooked rice. I really recommend this item.

This will cook!
Still working on figuring out the “perfect” ratio to get nice fluffy rice. It says to fill to the line in the pot, but if you use the measuring cup to add the same amount rice to water, it seems to be fluffier in the end….But very convenient, easy to use, set it and walk away…about 20 mins later, dinner is ready!

Works very well and the price is right!
I was a bit concerned that the quality of this product would be noticeably low due to its price point, but I was quickly reassured that it wasn’t the case after using it the first time. I’m not sure how this thing does it, but it automatically stops cooking as soon as the rice is finished and it cooks it perfectly each time. I ended up following the rice manufacturers instructions, but they seem to be fairly in line with the rice cookers instructions too. So far so good and I’ve used it at least a dozen times. One good suggestion would be to clean the pan or at least let it soak as it makes it much easier to get the left over starches off the pan.

Super easy and quick!
I used to hate cooking rice cause of having to wait for water to boil and then waiting for the rice to actually cook. I now eat nothing but rice because of how easy and simple it is to make it now. It holds up to 4 cups of rice which is more than enough for a single person. It’s so nice to be able to put the rice and water in and then let it sit while I do other things and not having to watch it 24/7.

PERFECT
I got this on sale for about $20 and its INCREDIBLE for the price. We use it nearly everyday and it’s super easy to clean. Like SUPER easy to clean. Rice does not stick at all, even when I’ve accidentally let it sit for a while. It works perfectly for us as 3 college students, but it’s probably too small for families or if you’re someone who wants leftovers. I tried to cook 2 dry cups of rice in it and the water threatened to boil over, so I wouldn’t do more than that. 100% recommend lol

This Rice maker does everything it supposed to do. If I was going to buy somebody a rice maker, I would absolutely buy this rice maker to send to them. Treat it with Care and it will consistently give you good rice.
