   Great Performance / Value for Money

   This machine is great in so many ways. First, it has a very compact footprint, enabling me to fit it on a counter that is already full of other appliances. Second, the clear top lets me see what is happening and I can quickly check the level of cubes produced as it goes along. Third, it is a “quick” ice cube maker, meeting all published expectations as to speed. The flavor is neutral to the water used, in my case, distilled water as I have well water as my primary home supply. Fourth, the indicator lights for “needs water” and “cube tray filled” provide an excellent way of making cubes without having to be right there to monitor the progress. All, in all, a very functional, and well designed machine.

   Ok, so I’ve used this for several months now, at least 4-5 times per week. It is perfect for me, because I drink ice with all my cold drinks. A couple of notes:1) You wouldn’t use this to have ice for a large group of people. It is very fast, but not that fast.2) You don’t set and forget. You will need to go back to it and empty the ice out, and refill with water. If you don’t, the ice will just melt, and keep going on making ice over and over with the same water.But like I said, for one or two people, this is perfect. It isn’t very small, but because I use ice on a daily basis, it’s worth giving up the counter space for me. I wouldn’t want it smaller, because that would mean less ice and less water.

   Needed to replace my old countertop ice maker…this did the trick. It is much smaller than my old one. It’s louder than my old one..but it works very well. You have the option of two sizes of cubes. It doesn’t hold a lot of ice..but for us it’s perfect and makes ice fast. Would I buy it again? yup…

   Nice soft chewing ice!

   I like this ice maker, it’s cheaper than the other ones and the ice is soft and good to chew on. I seen other reviews saying it’s loud but it isn’t loud for me so I don’t know about that. But I’m loving it! I will definitely recommend. It was super easy to set up. It makes ice pretty quick too.

   Does a great job

   We broke a piece on our refrigerator that allowed the ice maker to stop making ice. Therefore, the ice tray continually was overflowing and making a mess in the freezer section of our refrigerator. We weren’t able to get a service person out to fix it in our rural area so instead of throwing away the entire unit we shut the water off on the ice maker and decided to give this little unit a try. We’ve had in for several months and it does what it is supposed to. It’s not totally convenient to have to fill it with water a couple of times a day, but it is a great alternative if your refrigerator lacks an ice maker. The cubes are nice size. The appliance is quiet. Easy to clean. Helpful hint: Something we learned was that if you fill the water reservoir too full the ice tends not to be as hard. Easy fix. 🙂

   Fast output, a bit noisy, sometimes wet cubes

   For the money, this machine is a great buy. We have been using a Berkey to filter water and needed this to make ice from that filtered water. It has super fast output, giving us plenty of ice quickly. It’s easy to use and doesn’t take up a lot of room. It is noisy, however. Even after more than a month of use, it’s still hard to get used to the noise it makes. Perhaps I’m oversensitive but that’s my take. The only other negative is that the cubes produced are wet and often clump together in a big glob of ice. I like to transfer ice into my refrigerator’s ice dispenser and because these are so wet, they clump together there, too. I’d give this 3.5 stars due to price and speed as pros and noise and wetness of cubes as cons.

   This seems to be the same countertop portable ice maker that I am replacing, but a different label

   I bought this to replace an ice maker under a different label that died after 9 months of very good service. This looks the same. This box spells portable correctly. This easy to set up and booklet does tell of the cleaning feature. You cannot change the size of the nuggets but the existing size is fine. It is quiet and serves the needs of a widow. I keep 1/2 bag of ice in the freezer which is all it will hold. I mostly want ice for water and iced tea making. I was not happy about the short life span of the earlier one but all else was good. It spent about a month slowly dying as I cleaned. If this works longer, it will be a good value, but if it dies, no. More expensive machines give more options like ice size and a clean button. Here you hold the on button about 5 seconds and allow 30 minutes, then drain it. You can break the ice with a metal scoop and move it around to get a little more plus storing it. This did not come with an ice bag as the other labeled earlier one did. I at least have several ice bags already from the machine that died and a separate order from Amazon. There seems to be several companies marketing this same machine under different names.So far this seems superior to the other ice maker in subtle ways. For one thing is has the same footprint but you can better reach the area where the ice is made for cleaning. It seems to make ice faster and to dump out more before the Ice Full function lights.it is a good value.

    Exactly what I needed

    We have a nice fridge, or I should say an expensive fridge, that the ice maker freezes up every other week. We decided to start making our own ice in trays but my wife and I make a lot of “drinks” and go through ice quickly. Its become a constant battle to make trays of ice every couple of nights. Easy enough but you are always out when you need it. This ice maker solves our problem. It makes about 9 cubes every 9min, so about a cube a min but produces 9 at a time and usually 2 of the cubes are fairly small. Not a problem. We fill the reservoir up and let it do its thing for about an hour. This will not be able to keep up if you are our of ice and trying to entertain but running it once a week fills our baskets and keeps us stocked. This would not be something you would run to fill up a cooler. This is really geared more for someone that is tired of making ice trays, so low quantity.

    It has issues but is workable

    This ice maker has no refrigeration or insulation in the ice basket and it creates a lot of heat as it freezes the ice. This means that you can end up with a big chunk of ice in the freezer if you wait until the basket is full before you empty it. However, I’ve found if I store the ice in my drinking mugs in the freezer that doesn’t matter much. Also, I have a food mallet and have found that the big chunks of ice separate pretty easily into separate cubes if I bash the chunk with the mallet. Taken together the convenience of having an almost immediate supply of ice makes up for the disadvantages. Edited to add that this unit does indeed have insulation in the ice basket area as I found perfectly frozen ice in the basket in the morning when I thought the water was too low the night before.

    Beyond what I expected of a Counter top ice maker

    I honestly didn’t have high hopes for this machine after I had to return one to another retailer that never did work.When it arrives we unboxed it and left it sitting upright for 24 hours to make sure the Freon was settled and cleaning it like the booklet says to before use.Filled it with water and plugged it in and in 6 minutes we had our first cubes. It has been a PERFECT little machine for my ice loving family. We run it for about 4-5 hours a day and it keeps my family of 4 humans and 4 dogs in ice. We’ve had it for a few months and it has not failed us yet. It isn’t loud like some reviews have said. It’s actually really quiet.

    Works great. This replaced an ice maker from 10 years ago. The old one was larger overall and held more ice. But this one is so fast and efficient I can throw the ice in a baggie so I have more than my old one made. Very happy with it.

    I gotta say, I’ve had this 4,500 sqft Humhold unit since 4/14/23 and it is still working perfectly! You never know on Amazon whether or not a product will last long enough to even write a review. This one deserves a good review as it works perfectly still after 8 months, not a single issue. The large capacity water bucket makes it a little more hassle free from dumping frequently. The BlueTooth function works fine and is fairly easy to set up. The features on this one such as the “Inside Drying” and having a “High/Low” option on the fan to mention a couple are really nice. Another notable feature I really like is, the LED back light that shows Red (above set threshold), Green (within threshold), and Blue (below threshold) which is a simple glance to know what’s up. All and all, I would certainly recommend to my friends and family. In fact, I bought a smaller unit for my daughters house…. same results!

    Worked great (but I had a faulty model)

    When I bought the machine, it worked great for the 4 months that I had it. At one point, the machine stopped making ice (although everything seemed to be functioning properly with the machine). The machine itself was unable to chill the water.After being extremely frustrated, the manufacturer reached out to me to try and troubleshoot . After all their suggestions failed to fix the machine, the company honored the factory rebate.To me this meant a lot as most times if I buy a defective product, a company never offers to help fix, and ultimately replace the item. What this tells me is that this is a great company and a quality machine, and I just got unlucky with my unit.

    Makes ice fairly quickly

    This ice maker works well but it may not last long. I already had the exact same one branded with a different name. It lasted 13 months until one day when I was doing a thorough cleaning and suddenly it quit. The refrigeraration part still works but it stopped pumping water to the evaporator. I have an idea that a micro switch failed because of a video I found on u tube. I will attempt to repair it at some point. At this price point you probably can’t expect high quality parts in it. But I do like it when it is working.

    Great customer service

    Purchased this ice maker. When son tried it while away at college item did not work. When he finally was able to bring it back home it was out of the Amazon return time window. Contacted Amazon who then connected me with the maker of ice machine. After a quick response after each time contacting company and trying 3 things recommended by company it was determined the ice maker was defective. They offered sending out a new product and it arrived in about 5 days. New ice maker works great and the price was great. Would purchase product again, especially with the awesome customer service. Thank you to this company for providing such awesome customer service, rare thing to find these days.

    So easy for a disabled person

    I got this for a friend, who is disabled and limited hand use. Ice trays weren’t working any longer. I did a lot of research on this, and so happy with this purchase. Self clean, quite, If she forgets to turn it off, the ice will melt and remake. Also has auto shutoff when full. Holds a little over 4 cups of water to make ice, easy to pour in.This has been a game changer for her.Also has a handle, not heavy, so if you want to bring it somewhere, it’s simple. I’m thinking of getting myself one too.

    I want one

    I bought one for my daughter. My wife immediately said I want one.Once it gets going it pits out ice every 6 minutes, 8 cubes or about a cup.The cubes are round and hollow in the center, perfect for mixed drinks.It is a good low cost option to supplement ice makers in your refrigerator which are notoriously slow. You can spend more, alot more. The unit doesn’t take much power. Use it and turn it off. Store it on counter or cupboard.

    It makes ice so fast! You could plug it in a half our to an hour before you need it and it will have plenty for your party! Use bottled distilled water for the best flavor without risking putting hard water through the system. 10-10 recommend!

    Perfect for my needs

    I read a lot of reviews on many ice makers and finally selected this one. Overall I like it but a few things to note are:1. It’s a bit noisy when running2. The ice is very wet and the cubes stick together when you empty the tray. However, I started putting them in an ice bag and the cubes easily separate when you gently hit the bag3. The ice will start melting if you leave it in the ice maker too long.4. It takes hours to make a half bag of ice so if you need this for an event, you will need to start making ice days ahead of time.5. The ice is not super dense but more so than store bought ice. I like the size of the ice.and it lasts a while when using an insulated cup.

    I do like this ice maker! It keeps up with the amount of ice I personally use. I do wish it had a larger capacity but for 1-2 people it’s great. It is a bit loud when running and ice seems to melt kind of fast. But overall it’s good quality and runs non stop for me without issue

    I bought for my daughter’s birthday this year she never has ice when I go over. She started it right away washed everything out filled and set to go. We left did some shopping it was like late afternoon when we got back it was no later than 6pm and we had a good amount of bullet ice 🧊 she love it and bought 1 for her fiancé’s brother. I love how this ice machine is so much smaller than my old one that is like 10 years old I guess I bought one when they first came out. It still works.

    Great Ice Maker!

    We’ve been using this ice maker for a couple of months, and we love it!! We use a lot of ice, and this is absolutely up to the task. I think it’s probably suitable for maybe a family of 4 to have ice all the time. At dinnertime, we use all of the ice, but within about 6 minutes, there is more ice, so we have never actually run out. The sound of ice dropping is similar to what it is with a refrigerator ice maker; no problem. The design is simple but clever. If you don’t use ice for a while, like at night, the basket gets full, so the machine stops making more. Slowly the ice melts from the basket into the reservoir below. This triggers the machine to make more. The net result is that the machine isn’t always running, yet you always have fresh ice. Perfect!

    Fun-sized ice cubes

    Surprise! A product I didn’t really need! It was a good Prime Day deal, and the ice cubes promised to be cute. Not disappointed. Don’t expect much from the instruction booklet. The instructions said pour the water in the tank…okay, not intuitive. Having a similar product in the wet bar upstairs in my home, I expected the water tank to be in a separate place from where the ice collects. It wasn’t; just pour the water into the ice basket. The fill line is only visible under the basket, so remove it to see. Doesn’t replace the refrigerator ice maker, but it’s a fun gadget for a quick/small drink.

    Don’t love this ice machine.

    Had purchased a GE nugget ice maker previously and when it stopped working, I decided to try this less expensive bullet ice machine. Don’t love the ice or the fact that the machine stores such a small amount. Feel like I am constantly having to refill the water and restart. Okay value for the money but would not purchase again.

    Quick Ice, Nice Price

    After letting it stand upright a few hours I was ready to test it out. Cleaned it up and filled it up (62 ounce). As advertised in about 6 minutes it produced its first batch of large ice cubes. In 30 minutes I had a 20 ounce pint glass full of ice and in just under 3 hours the add water light came on and I had a full 2 quart pitcher of large ice cubes. After transferring the large cubes to the freezer l, I reset everything and began to produce small ice cubes, or so I thought. After 30 minutes the machine had produced a basket full of ice, but this ice looked to be the same size as the large ice I first produced. So, I pressed over to the “L” button for a batch of Large ice, and low and behold, there is a very small difference in the two settings, I’m not sure anyone would even notice if you present them individually. Overall, fast ice ready to keep drinks cold in just a few minutes.
