MOTION ACTIVATED OUTDOOR FLOOD LIGHT
TEST MODE:
Tests the sensor’s functionality even during daylight hours.
After motion stops, the light will remain on full brightness for 5 seconds and then turn to low brightness.

MOTION SECURITY MODE
Adjust the “DISTANCE” to L/M/H, you will enter the SECURITY MODE. Turns on at full brightness at night only when motion is detected. Deactivates during daylight hours. Recommended installation height: 8.2 feet.
DUSK TO DAWN MODE
In D2D mode, light turns on at night and stays on at low brightness(20%), then turns to fullbrightness(100%) if motion is detected. The holding time at high brightness can be customized from 1/3/10 MIN. Deactivates during daylight hours.
MANUAL OVERRIDE MODE
Stay on at 100% brightness, suitable for nighttime gatherings in the courtyard. Turn the light on manually from the wall switch. With the fixture already in the ON position, continuously flip the wall switch off and then back on twice in 3 seconds.
LONGER LIGHTING TIME
When the security light is triggered, the lighting time is 1, 3 or 10 minutes, which can be customized by yourself.

Great Security Light
I replaced an older security light in my back yard. I really like that you can override the motion sensor and turn the light only but flipping the switch a couple of times. It produces fantastic light. I also allowed me to mount it under the soffit, and not on the wall. Sensitivity is great. I highly recommend the light!

Great Light, but needs A few setup notes.
This was an easy install on vinyl siding with the use of a vinyl siding block kit. It took me an hour to run a new 14-2 romex cable to the panel and install the light with the provided hardware. Since I have this light on my garage as a security light, I wired it directly to the circuit breaker in the panel. If I want to override the security feature and have the light stay on, turn the breaker on/off/on/off then back on. The light will stay on, regardless of motion sensor settings. To revert back to motion sensing mode, turn the breaker off, then back on, just once. Once the light was installed, the instructions aren’t clear on how to actually test and adjust the light for motion. Turn the power off to the light if it’s not already off. Slide the timer switch to D2D, and the sensitivity switch to TEST. Turn power on to the light. The light will remain in low power until the motion sensor picks up motion. Adjust the motion sensor position on the light until you get the range that you want, and the light comes on at your required distance. The range on this light is slightly less than 60 feet, so keep that in mind. Adjust the position of the lamps to light the area you want lit. Once you have adjusted the PIR (motion sensor) to your liking, select your time on to either 1, 3, or 10 minutes. Select your sensitivity to Low, Medium, or high, based on your area being covered. The light is now ready for use.

Nice light but be prepared to modify the mounting hardware
The operation of this light is great. Comes on dim at dusk and goes on very bright when it sees movement. The problem I had was the mounting screws were too small for the outside electrical box and screws that fit the box were a little too big to fit through the mounting bracket. This required drilling out the bracket slots slightly. No big deal but strange that this was necessary.

Easy to install and easy to follow use directions
I replaced old sentry lights with two of these and was pleased with the features that made it possibel to adjust the length of time the light would be on when triggered by motion and also the dusk-to-dawn automatic light function option. I found that having both lights on in that mode was overkill so changed one to only be a motion sensor. I found out how sensitive the motion detector was when a small rabbit wandered into my driveway and triggered the lights, which the old lights would not have done. This product is relatively inexpensive and very effective.

Easy installation and bright!

Light is Bright and adjustable!
Used this light on the side of my garage (ManCave). It lights up an area that was very dark. The dusk to dawn feature is perfect! Light stays on dim until it senses motion, then it gets brighter, stays bright for the time you have set on timer, then it goes back to dim. Light turns completely off during the day. Each light can be aimed in a different direction. I also used a low profile electrical(ceiling fan box) so the light would look neater mounted on the garage.

Put in area of house that is dark..light is very bright when motion detector is triggered but low rest of time..at dark..off during daylight..had electrician install it and he said it was good.

DOES NOT detect motion up to 59 ft. BUT……see updated review.
It only detects motion in the 12 ft range and that is when you are walking straight to it. The only good thing about this light is it is very bright. So, if you are looking for long distance on a sensor, I would pass on this light.UPDATED REVIEW: Company has reached out to me to figure out what was wrong & had me do some sensor adjusting. Seems that the sensor was defective and they sent me a new light to try. The new light picks up movement at 20 feet now. The light is installed at 6 ft high so maybe at 8ft it would pick up motion at a longer distance. I am changing to 4 stars for excellent customer service and for a bright light.

Switch-out works better than old flood lights
The lights are on both sides of my barn. My husband said they were easy to install. We were using the previous location of lights that were 30 years old. So, it was a switch out using the same wiring. Brightness is great. The range or reach could be better. But I was told they are turned as far as possible. I wanted the lights to come on sooner when I walk to the barn at night. We tried Ring lights first and then returned them. These are better and cheaper.

nice and bright
I am VERY happy with the lights. We placed it on the garage, shining on the driveway, and have it set for dusk to dawn, and when someone or something comes in range, it gets even brighter. It was easy to install, BUT, unlike my old light fixture, it didn’t have a cavity of sort in which to put the wires in, so we had to cut the wires to be shorter, and that was all that was needed. The fixture screwed in perfectly once we shortened the wires and exposed more of the wires (from the plastic covering of the wires). VERY pleased and I HIGHLY recommend this light.

Very bright light.
Very bright, lights up my large front yard very nicely. The motion detector seems to cut off at about 10 feet, kind of disappointing. I do have it set on most sensitive setting. It would be nice to have a plug-on mounting base for easy installation, worth a few dollars more for sure. over all a nice light worth the price.

Very bright and super easy to install
My husband didn’t think I could install it myself. Told me to hire a handyman. I think I did a great job and it was super easy. The light is much brighter than what we had, so I’m glad I went ahead and changed it myself instead of waiting and paying someone to install it. The caulk around the outside is from the previous light, I need to scrape it off. The new light came with a gasket to keep moisture out.

Want to add a dimmer switch
The light is mounted about 7 feet above the ground on my garage. When it detects the car it hits max brightness and destroys my night vision. Fine for blinding an intruder but will put an LED dimmer on it.I don’t know if that will screw up the sensors but I can’t afford to lose night vision when leaving my garage.I know I wanted very bright but be careful what you ask for. This delivers far brighter than the Quartz fixture it replaces using less than 1/2 the power.

A great buy
Most security lights do not let you have a low light setting I found out the hard way and returned to Home Depot. This light stays on low all night( is dusk til dawn) but any sign of motion it switches to an amazing bright led light. Having three lights makes it light up the whole of the front of my house. Very pleased and they were considerably less than the ones I returned which didn’t have the three lights which gives it a wider peripheral vision for movement. I definitely recommend these and will buy again.

THE SECURITY LIGHT I WAS SEARCHING FOR
My old security light that shined on the cars in the driveway died. I liked that it had a Dusk to Dawn feature as well as the feature where it was on low until motion was detected and then went to max. I disliked that is was all plastic. In searching for a replacement, the on low and motion to max feature was hard to find. This LUTEC model has it all plus it is housed in an aluminum frame for the extra outside durability. I don’t recall the lumens my old light was but my new LUTEC is 6300 lumens and is twice as bright if not more. 3 adjustable lights instead of my old 2. I am so happy!!

LED Security Lights Motion Sensor Light
This light is extremely bright, but it works great, a little sometimes is it slow waking up the bright light, but it works OK. I have not seen it false lights from deer and snow flakes – so for deer not issues as we have 100’s of deer and not sn issue. Works over GREAT, looks great also.

Night lighting and security
Hooked the light up and was very surprised on the amount of light and coverage this light gives. I read the pamphlet and it states a 3 year warranty on the light so I’m pretty happy with that. The light is lightweight so I’m hoping it resists the harsh weather.
