Very Unusual
I love the uniqueness and was anxious to try growing my own rather than buying mature plant from local greenhouse.. I wish I had realized how very tiny the bulbs are. I literally had to plant using garden tweezers I usually use for seeds. But, it only took about 10 days for them to sprout. They are happily growing and before fall I should have a full 4”x6” container – so happy camper here.

Beautiful Shamrocks to add colour to my home
These purple shamrocks bulbs are fantastic, they grew in 2-3 days! I put them in a pot, next to a kitchen window, with plenty of light, no direct sun (I hope they’ll like it). They have already flowered too, but don’t be impatient, one stem at a time. It’ll take time to have the whole pot to be full. And it’s worth the waiting.

Great packaging and healthy!
I ordered these purple and the regular. Packaging was very different. These came in a foil bag ready to pop! The other pot is the regular oxalis and was packaged poorly. This is DEFINITELY a good buy. Very healthy and way cheaper than buying the plant. Super fun to watch grow.

Color of the purples r beautiful
Only 7 of the 10 are growing after 3 weeks. No sign of the other 3 yet. I do like though and hope they will create more bulbs to thicken it up

Not as bright purple as pictured.
When I received these I put them in the pot almost immediately. They were already sprouting in the seed package. All but 2 made it. They are a very dark purple with light purple flowers. They are doing great and look very pretty.

So stinkin’ cute!
They came quickly. I literally planted them by making the hole with the weeding tool, dropped them in and watered them. They sprouted quickly and flowered. Now everyone wants some. They’re so easy to grow.

The plant is beautiful!
The seeds were pre-sprouted so I didn’t worry that they were dead or didn’t grow. I used these with my preschool kids and they loved watching the seedlings grow long and sprout more leaves. A couple seeds rotted and died but there were enough seeds for us to get a thick plant.

Don’t overwater!
I absolutely love this plant. Very important to only water when dry, overwatering will make the bulbs soggy, and moldy. This plant just keeps giving and giving. Very healthy bulbs and I’m very happy with my purchase!

They’re spongy and moldy
I bought 2 packages. A total of 24 bulbs and it took 7 weeks to get the beginning sprout and I bought to ring grow lights to help speed up the process. 3 weeks later I had the second sprout. I have uncovered a few to see what progress they’re making and they’re black and squishy and spongy like they’re just dead. Keeping the soil moist but not over watering. They get all day sun and I keep the grow light on for an additional 3 hours after sundown to help speed the process. I’m very very disappointed as this was to be a gift for a very good friend who lost her twin and she loves purple butterflies. Not going to give her a pot with just soil and no sprouts. The picture shows that there are plentiful and bushy and beautiful. I’ve decided to wait until there are many sprouts before I gift them to her. If they even sprout at all. Very disappointed. 🙁😕😓😥😥

Should get more for the $
They are beautiful, healthy and vibrant. I wish you got more for the money spent though. The bulbs were only enough for a small 4″ diameter pot. I was going to plant them outside but it would look sparse if I were to separate them or had I planted the bulbs individually.If you just want one small pot of them they are amazing.

They are beautiful and within a few weeks look just like the pictures!
First, I got way more than just twelve little bulbs. Second, they were already starting to sprout in the bag when they arrived and third, all three pots that I planted them in are overflowing with beautiful purple foliage and delicate white flowers. The only downside to them is that they come with absolutely no instructions so I had to research how to plant them. Overall, I am very pleased and will be ordering more to plant in several other pots that I have.

Not to good
I have a plant room in my house. I’ve been growing flowers for a long time. In fact, I’ve even been yard of the month a few times but inside I grow plants as well and have a room full of grow lights and such. But these plants are awful. I tried to work with them as much as possible but they’re very thin. I planted them the way they said to, but I’m am very dissatisfied with them. I was hoping I have a good bouquet of purple Type flowers on them but they didn’t turn out very well. Probably going to have to make room for other plants in those pots. I rate these as P,U. THEY STINK.

8 days and still nothing
I’ve planted these seeds 8 days ago and have yet to see a sprout. I’ve planted this breed of plant before and have had nothing but success. Either I got a bad batch of these seeds just suck all together. I want a refund or at least some new seeds.

Almost 50.00 spent on this product and not a one grew!
I spent almost 50.00 on these bulbs and not a one grew. I have started a plant for bulbs previously and they grew to be so beautiful! My plan was to start a family plant to give to all the children and grandchildren that originated from grandma’s plant. I was shocked after more than a month of planting them not a one sprouting. Now I have to find another distributor and start all over again, disappointed to say the least!

Never grew VERY disappointed
I have purchased bulbs before and these ones never grew. Very dismayed with these “bulbs” that I frequently successfully have grown between 2016 and 2023. Unsure what was sent to me. I bought two packages of bulbs. One never grew and the other got “lost” before it was delivered. Just shocked and now will only buy these Purple Oxalis bulbs from local nurseries.

Wow, did these take off!
I received this (I think there were 16 bulbs in the package) for a Christmas gift and planted them right away as instructed. I had little green sprouts within 2 days. It’s now 3 weeks after Christmas and I have about a dozen little shamrocks–already showing off their pretty purple leaves–with more babies sprouting every time I look. It looks like it’ll take some time for the little bulbs to proliferate and bush out to fill the pot, but everything coming up is healthy and happy, and I can’t wait until I have a nice full pot of this gorgeous plant. I’m really happy with this gift, and for the price, I think it’s a fantastic investment for all the future pleasure I’ll be getting from it.

Cheated in these
Not shipped what was described in ad text. I bout not one but 2 packs of 12 bulbs and oned pack had 7 the o the 8 and some sticks. We planted them as soon as we got them. 3 little shoots came up. Shoukd have had 2 whole pots. In Potting soil, large pots, sun everyday and watered.These are the only thing out of my garden that is crap.we have the best landscaping in the whole area of anyone. We are told daily how nice our oldie looked. So had hope to ads some purple In 2 small pots. I thing the bulbs are old and way out of date to be sold. They did not germinate, plus the qaunity was supposed to be 2 of 12 bulbs in each packs. We received 2 packs one with 7 and one with 8 and were small in size and in bad condition. And some trash sticks only 3 grew. Cheated as been in gr gound a month to see and window to return closed while waiting for them to grow. Or should say poor quilt not grow. Was a total waste of 2 post, soil and the money we spent on.the 2 packs. Looks like many others are reporting the same thing as us. Out rite cheated on this product. Window closed 24th to return but was told give them more time will grow. Amazon should return everyone’s money that got this bad batch of less qaunity and quality as products was not delivered as described

Nice
It started to sprout within one or two weeks. It doesn’t look like the picture but it is pretty. I have had it for about two month and two of the stems have fallen over so I had to pull them out. So far I am happy with it.

I like that the seeds had sprouts. I feel a little more confident on getting a couple plants. I plan to them today in container pots. We will see how it goes in about 2 weeks ***UPDATE. These are awesome and they close like a flower at night. I am extremely pleased with this.

Easy grower
Easy to grow. Take outside during the summer but bring in in early fall because chipmunks and squirrels will eat the bulbs. If taken care of, new fall you’ll have enough bulbs to give to your friends.

2 weeks to sprout
I planted them about an inch under soil, watering when the top was completely dry, and set up with a grow light because they’re in a shaded room. They sprouted after 2 weeks.
