Best rice cooker I’ve ever had.

We make rice at least once a week, and usually are blending basmati, jasmine and koshihikari rice. This rice cooker always gets it perfect to my tastes using the white rice function. My son likes it a little stickier, and for him, the Quick Rice function gets it just the way he likes it. It cleans easily, no matter what we are cooking in it. Well worth the price.

    First Meal!! Love this product!!

I recently purchased the Cosori rice cooker and vegetable steamer and I must say, I am blown away by how great this product is. As someone who follows a vegetarian diet and uses a steamer basket almost every day, I was thrilled to find a rice cooker that didn’t come with a plastic steamer basket. The size offthe steamer basket insert is amazing and it makes cooking grains and vegetables a breeze. One of the things I love most about this rice cooker is how easy it is to use. The screen interface is user-friendly and cleanup is a breeze. The product is also versatile enough to use for meal prep for one person or for a small familv.I recently used this rice cooker to make some quinoa for my weekly meal prep and it turned out perfectly. I no longer have to worry about burning my grains, which makes my life so much easier.Overall, I highly recommend the Cosori rice cooker and vegetable steamer to anyone looking for a high-quality product that is both easy to use and clean. Thanks to Cosori for making such an amazing product!

    Still deciding

I bought this one because it was advertised as keeping the rice warm for a longer period of time. However, it was only in the warmer so far for a couple of hours and it was already cooking on the bottom becoming crunchy and hard, so I’m gonna give it another go. I’m just not sure yet.

    Almost there

It’s a great rice cooker. It made fluffy rice BUT my 2 main complaints are that it doesn’t have handles on the inner pot so you’d need mittens or gloves to handle that. The other complaint is that there is no side spoon holder. It does come with a standing rice spoon but I prefer the holder on the side better. The one thing I thought was pretty cool about this rice cooker is that the condensation “holder” is inside with the inner lid. Very convenient and different from other rice cookers I’ve used BUT it did break after the second use. It’s still usable but it’s detached now, so if I lose it, then it’s basically doesn’t hold the condensation anymore.Somethings to consider if you are wanting to purchase this item.

    Well.. 🙂

First time owning a rice cooker and Its bigger than i expected lol. Partially bought one because of Uncle Rogers obsession with Rice and Rice Cookers, and because i suck at making rice lol.Very easy to use and understand, included cook book was useful. Did a great job cooking the rice so no complaints so far. Cleanup was thankfully easy as well. Will comment further as i get more experience using it.

    Not great

I’ve now made rice about 15 times and no matter if I put more water in it or not it’s never perfect. Always super sticky and stuck on the bottom, not perfect fluffy rice that falls apart, I guess if you make fried rice it needs to be sticky and so does sushi… and Mediterranean rice with butter ends up falling arpart too… maybe it’s supposed to be like this? If you want it to fall apart use butter

Best Value Rice Cooker Out There!

I first purchased this rice cooker for a new restaurant we were opening and needed a cooker that could do multiple grains/styles of rice. For the price ($99.99 at the time) I couldn’t pass this up. It worked splendidly until someone broke it, so I immediately went to purchase another one and this one had a $10 off coupon, SCORE! Loved it so much I bought one for home. I’ve used all types of cookers and for the money spent this walks that perfect balance between cheap cooker (why bother just use a pot on the stove) and the super high end cookers ($200+). I find no fault in it, easy to clean, cooks great, and even keeps rice warm for over 24hrs (currently have gone 28hrs) without burning or drying out. If you’re in the market for a new rice cooker just buy this one and be thankful at the awesome price.

    Love my Cosori Rice Cooker

I am so inlove with my Cosori rice cooker. I enjoy cooking every day multiple times a day in it. It is easy to use and maintain. I told my friends and family about it and I recommended it to them. I also cooked pulled pork and every one was amazed that is was super delicious and that it was made in my cosori rice cooker in slow cooker mode. I explained to all and they said in the future they were getting one.Thank you ahead of time for creating an amazing product.

    Great rice!

We have only used this to make rice, so I can’t comment on how it does steaming vegetables, but the rice is amazing! Very simple to use and clean, and although it does take twice as long to make rice as it does on the stove, the rice comes out perfect every time.

Perfect rice and steep cut oatmeal

We have 2 Cosori brand small appliances and are happy with both. We purchased the rice maker and have used it for rice and for steel cut oatmeal. Both turn out perfectly each time. Cleanup is easy because the inner pot is removable. The unit is larger than I realized but it fits on our counter(under our cabinets).

    Save your directions

This does so much so don’t throw your instruction manual away. Best thing to happen to sticky rice ever though. I love this rice cooker. It has a ton of features I haven’t even used yet – we just eat a lot of rice in this house. Turns out perfect every time. I’ve had it for several months and have used it on average probably 3x/week with no issues.

Don’t wait any longer, get one now!

Shortly after getting this I got annoyed at my daughter. Why? She’s had one forever and never mentioned how much she loved it and couldn’t cook without one until I told her how much I loved mine, after having been on the fence about getting a rice cooker for so long. This one is perfect. Any kind of rice comes out great. I throw in diced onion, tomato paste, diced tomatoes, spices rice and water and it makes the most delicious Spanish rice. I have also made Indian ride Pilaf and any number of yummy rice recipes. Fuzzy technology means great rice every time. Love, love it and don’t know how we lived without it!

This is what you’re missing in your life… trust me

This thing is perfect. I’ve had a rice cooker on my list of must-have kitchen appliances for awhile and finally got around to getting one. Sure, it’s easy to cook rice on your stovetop… but this is easier, so why would you?Rice comes out perfect every time. It’s easy to clean once you figure out how to take the lid apart. I love how it keeps the rice warm without burning the rice on the bottom (for those times you mess up the timing of a meal!) I’m most upset that I waited so long to get this thing. A few family members have bought one for themselves after checking mine out and they are just as in love with it. One used it to replace their old “trusty” rice cooker and they adore this one. I looked at several and this one had the best reviews- for good reason!

    Perfect Rice Cooker!

This rice cooker is perfect! I love the look, high tech, black with a touch of stainless steel that gives it a more elegant look. Most importantly the white rice (haven’t tried brown yet) came out perfectly from the top of the pot to the bottom, no sticking, all same texture. It’s also very user friendly and easy to clean. No complaints whatsoever so far.

    So far so good

Ok, I’ve only used this once, will update when I get more use out of it & let you know of versatility, results and durability.Like the size & style, a lot. Not too big, heavy or bulky so I think I’ll leave it out on the counter at all times.Set up was super easy, as was my first try, Brown Rice. This made the brown rice perfectly and if you’ve tried to make it without a steamer, you know it’s hard to get right. Even with a steamer, it can turn out wrong. I like that it gives you choices of fluffy, regular or firm. Tried fluffy & regular, they were both perfect.Clean-up was a breeze, the inner bowl cleans easily, the unit wipes down & dries, easily. I can tell I’ll be using it a lot, just based on the ease of use/clean up. The display functions are super easy, total no brainer.NOTE: To the person who left the photo review claiming “rust”. I noticed spots too, only on the night I forgot to use filtered water. Turned out to be mineral deposits that easily wiped away with warm soapy water, so I wouldn’t let that person’s photo or review deter you. IT’S NOT RUST.PRO TIP: Used DISTILLED water or at least filtered, in ANY appliance that creates steam.

So far, a nice improvement over the $20 rice cooker.

I have been hesitant to buy a rice cooker for a while because I don’t eat rice that much and find it easy enough to cook on the stovetop. But we’ve been eating a bit more rice lately and I also find myself frequently overcooking my morning oatmeal. When i realized that rice cookers can also make oatmeal, I figured it was worth a try and went to target and bought a cheap one.Well it did a pretty solid job on oatmeal to be honest, better than the results I get in a pot, consistently perfectly cooked (I use thick cut old fashioned rolled oats). However, it didn’t do so great with rice. I mean it was ok, but the rice on the bottom seems to get overcooked and a little “crispy” in spots and the warming function will just dry it out more. Not wanting to spend hundreds on the fancy japanese ones I bought this for $85 to give it a try. And I did a side by side batch of the same rice in each machine, and this one wins easily. All the rice was perfectly cooked and tender, no crunch spots on the bottom, just perfectly soft and cooked throughout. And I swear, the rice tastes better. It is almost a little sweeter with a nicer flavor. I suspect that comes from the long slow cook time which might convert more starch to sugar. As a bonus, this machine is easier to clean up because you don’t get starchy water bubbling up all over the lid.Overall, very pleased and I look forward to some of the other options like slow cooking for bone broth. It is probably a bit larger than we need for a small family, but not so huge as to be unwieldy. My only gripe is no “off” button so you either have to unplug it or wait for the keep warm cycle to run out.

    Rice cooker that does everything

This rice cooker is simple to operate, with water markings on the non-stick pot. You simply add water and amount of cups of rice you want. Then press a couple buttons like magic, you have perfectly cooked rice. No longer do you have to agonize, staring at rice cook in a sauce pan. This pot does a bunch of other things as well, but I mostly used it for perfect rice. Clean up is also a breeze with the non-stick pot. The included rice spoon thing, makes stirring and serving rice easy. It’s worth the cost over cheaper rice cookers.

A lot of love and passion went into creating this product, and it shows.

Couldn’t be happier with an appliance. I never write reviews on Amazon but this deserves praise.First, the design of this thing is super cool. It’s sleek, easy to clean, and is automated. The instructions are in perfect English, and it details soooo much you can cook with this thing. They include a recipe book, a quick guide, AND a community support Facebook group for issues and recipe sharing. It’s crazy. I’ve never seen a company put this much effort into customer service for a small appliance. This thing should cost $500. Most importantly it works great. I just had oatmeal slow cooked for the first time and it’s the best I’ve ever had. Rice comes out great! Slow cooked beef ribs, steamed veggies. It’s incredible.I reccomend this product. I hope they sell ten million of them and stay true as a company.

HAPPY WITH THIS CHOICE OF RICE COOKER

I have had the Cosori rice cooker for several weeks now and have cooked white rice and oat meal, and steamed vegetables. The cooker performed all of these functions well. The touch screen controls are intuitive and easy to learn. The owner’s guide and cookbook have nice charts to guide you through cooking requirements of all the options (how much water, approximate cooking time, etc.). I also like the countdown feature that lets you know how much cooking time remains as the cooker does it’s thing. AFter looking at many different rice cookers I chose this one and am happy that I did. I do have one complaint however and that is the lack of a power off and on control. I’d like to leave the rice cooker on my kitchen counter and find it a minor nuisance to have to unplug the unit to turn off power and plug it back in again when I want to use it. A simple power on control would make this well designed rice cooker even better and worthy of 5 stars. Also, while I am wishing for modifications, a yogurt making option would be a wonderful addition to the functions.

Smart Rice Cooker, Not So Smart Slow Cooker

I finally decided to part with old, manual rick cookers and slow cookers as the ones I had have seen better days. They still work, but the rice cooker’s inner liner’s non-stick is worn out and the 1.5 quart and 3.5 quart slow cookers are difficult to clean with their stoneware inner liners.I already own a pressure cooker that makes just about perfect brown rice, but that doesn’t do so well as a slow cooker. I’ve been looking and trying different rice cooker / multicookers when I came across this one by Cosori. I already own a Cosori air fryer which I really like and just by reading the description of this multicooker, I knew I wanted to give this a try. This cooker is a beautiful looking machine with definitely outside the box thinking in mind. Unlike traditional cookers, there are no physical buttons to press (except the lid release). The “buttons” are like their air fryer whicn are just selections from a flat panel. This is good or bad all depending on perspective. Some like the sleekness. Other like the tactile feel of buttons.Along with this noticeable difference than traditional rice cookers, a big nice to have feature of this cooker is the ease of cleaning. Whereas most other cookers have a lid, and then a inner cover that doesn’t come off, plus a drip catch on the outside for all the condensation from cooking, the Cosori has a layer between the inner lid that easily detaches for easy cleaning. Not only that, but the condensation collector is on the inside which helps not having that drip around when opening the lid. This ease of cleaning was the main attraction for me to try this rice cooker. The cooker also has something called fuzzy logic (yes a real term), that senses and adapts the cooking when making rice. Along with the fuzzy logic is very well marked inner pot that shows where the water level goes according to how many scoops of rice you’ve added using their included cup. Not only that, but another touch they’ve added is a rice laddle that can stand upright so you don’t even have to lay on a plate when using. As for the quality of rice made, I went ahead and cooked two cups of brown rice (using the cooker’s default settings of texture and grain) following their instructions using their included cup and the suggested water level for two cups. During the cooking, I did see the times being adjusted. Initially the time until done showed about 1 hour, 15 minutes. Then that decreased and only took about 45 minutes total. I guess that was the fuzzy logic at work. The rice itself came out not sticking (I didn’t even need to add any oil). It was almost perfect. There was a bit on the bottom that looked a little dryer than the top, but non stuck on the inner pot. Clean up was a breeze with the removeable parts. As a rice cooker, this is a big success.I then cooked using slow cooker mode to cook some (8-10) bratwursts overnight. With my manual slow cooker, I put brats in and cook on low mode. By morning they are ready for me to take out and let cool, then freeze for later use. Unfortunately, this cooker only has one temperature setting for slow cooking. The temperature is a hot 212 degrees F (100 degrees C). The results of cooking the brats overnight yielded about 5 that were burnt on the bottom with the remaining slightly over cooked. Without a lower temperature setting for slow cooking this is an issue if want to slow cook anything that doesn’t have a lot of liquid. I can see 212 degrees F for something like beef stew that has plenty of liquid to work with. But for things that can’t afford to lose that much liquid, slow cooking is a disappointment. I could probably adjust by closer monitoring or in the case of the brats, add some water. But babysitting the cooker wouldn’t be needed if there was a lower setting option.Worth mentioning too is the size of the cooker. It is big. More so, I think the cooker is best suited for kitchens that have a kitchen island to cook on as the cooker puts out a lot of steam. On my kitchen counter (no island) which I’m cooking on, if placed for comfortable viewing, the vent of the cooker ends up pointing right at the kitchen cabinets. To avoid the cabinets getting full of steam, I put a tiny fan nearby to redirect the steam away from the cabinets. Here is what I like and dislike of the Cosori rice/multicooker:Likes——– a breeze to clean after use with removeable parts- makes almost perfect rice- well marked inner pot for rice and water measurements- unique laddle that stands upright- Cosori name- stainless steel steamer basketDislikes———- slow cooker only cooks at a high 212 degrees F (100 degrees C)- large, not well suited for kitchen countertopI really really like the easy cleaning approach of this cooker. I hope other manufacturers take a hint with that design. This cooker makes great rice. Unfortunately, for someone who is looking for a slow cooker function also, only having one high heat temperature is a limitation and a deal breaker enough that I’ll end up looking for another cooker.I give the Cosori rice cooker 3 out of 5 stars.

    Sure beats my old Tiger!

Very versatile for browning, making different styles of rice and textures and the control pad is so nice.My old “Tiger” rice cooker made good rice but I couldn’t read the display…… I hate to toss stuff but soglad I made the switch to Cosori……I’d buy their air fryer to but I already have the Emerile 360 which works fine. So easy to use. Makes perfect rice

Being taught how to cook rice to old-school way, in a pot, I never thought I would be a convert to a rice cooker, but here I am.This is so easy to use and so convenient I find myself cooking more rice than ever. The only thing that caught me off guard initially was the 50 minute cooking time. So make sure you plan around that but honestly to be able to set it and forget it and scoop the rice once you’re ready for it is worth a little longer cooking time. Not to mention the rice comes out perfect every time.

    Replaced my Tiger Rice Cooker

I have a Tiger 5-cup rice cooker that works, but the inside pot is peeling and I’ve been waiting for the replacement to come back in stock for MONTHS. This is the second pot I’ve had to replace, so I decided to purchase this rice cooker as the replacement for my existing rice cooker. The cost of this new Cosori rice cooker is almost the same as a replacement pot for my old one. It looks great and the footprint is about the same as my old rice cooker, it’s just taller, and this makes more rice. We eat rice almost daily, so that is the main purpose, so I haven’t tried the other functions. The only drawback is the front lights stay on after the rice cooks. So unless you have the rice on warm, the machine has to be unplugged after making rice. I wish there was a power-off button so the other function lights on the front panel would turn off.

    No on/off switch!

Cooks rice and quinoa well, but can you believe, you have to UNPLUG IT after every use. I verified this with customer service.

    Easy to Customize Your Rice

It’s easy to select the type of rice (Long-Medium-Porridge) along with texture (Hard-Soft-Regular). It takes a little bit of time to make the rice, but that is because it allows the rice to soak before cooking. Also, you are able to delay cook. So if you want fresh rice in the morning, you just need to wash the rice and drop it in the cooker and set how long you want to delay cooking and press start.

    Surprisingly great

I’ve only ever bought cheap rice cookers, but this thing has gotten me to eat so much rice I don’t think I could go without it again.

    It’s okay

Bought because one of my family members borrowed my other one and never returned. My old one would cook rice in 20 so minutes. This rice cooker is nice but takes awhile to cook. Compared to my other one it’s fancy but 30 extra minutes to cook is kinda a con.So pro it’s super fancyBut con it does take awhile.

    Excellent rice cooker but…

… It takes too long too cook compared to other rice cookers I have had over the years. I would still recommend it because it does the job very well.
