It doesn’t lie about how fast it puts ice out! You do have to use the ice or move it to a freezer due to it not being cold enough to store it. It was simple to get running and stores easily as well. Definitely worth the money.

Doesn’t take all day.
I use a lot of ice. And run out a lot. So I wanted a way to make more ice in between. With distilled water. I was pleasantly surprised how fast it makes it. I just fill it up and let it go. It makes a couple of sizes. I recommend this. You can also use distilled water.

Good
this icemaker was really good and made ice pretty quickly. Though, we only purchased about a year and 5 months before it stopped making ice and was warm on the inside. I feel like for $120 the ice maker should have a longer product life, but it was a nice icemaker before it stopped working!

Good Ice
We have been using this since Christmas. I wouldn’t say that it is excessively loud but I do hear it when it is on. It does not bother us at all. The speed is as advertised. The ice will stick together after putting it in the freezer bag but it is so easy to break it apart. Overall we really like it. I can’t speak of the durability since we have had it for a short time.

Best investment
We bought this ice maker to go on our “hydration station” where we keep our ninja thirsti machine & all our flavored syrups. It has quickly become a household essential. No more filling, emptying ice trays! We always have plenty of ice at hand for our flavored waters. Cleaning is a breeze. Twice a month I just add a few cups of hot water with a tiny splash of bleach & run the self cleaning mode. I use a little brush to get in all the nooks & crannies (don’t forget to take off the water intake cover at the bottom & scrub it) once the self cleaning mode is done I drain out all the water & refill/drain it several times with fresh water & then run another self clean cycle with clean water to flush the lines. Zero evidence of mold using this method.

Small ice capacity
This machine makes ice fast, but it does not hold very much ice. If someone fills a glass with ice, it leaves almost nothing for anyone else. We bought a separate container for our freezer to keep ice in as the machine makes it. It is a great size for those that have limited countertop space.

Works fast!
This little machine makes ice comically fast. Don’t know what I was expecting but this really does crank out the ice cubes faster than my level of beverage consumption! I drain it and leave it off except for a couple of hours over the weekend.Only downside is its not silent. I have it next to a small bar in a family room and it is noticeable when its on.

Doesn’t stay cold

This ice maker has been amazing
I love having rhis in my fifthwheel for camping. No more ice trays in my freezer waiting for it to freeze. Every 6 minutes this thing drops ice cubes until full. The first few drops are pathetic little guys but they get better and bigger the longer it runs. The hopper only holds enough ice cubes to fill 2 or 3 red solo cups but if your using a smaller glass or cup, it fill 5 or 6 at a time. But again, it is dropping cubes every 6 minutes so you’ll have more in no time at all.

Love this little ice machine!
Love: makes ice surprisingly quickly!love: the ice is a nice size and shape.OK: have to plan to be in the room or check it very often to use or put ice in freezer. The ice bucket is not refrigerated. I just did it while I was fixing a meal or set an alarmTo empty it every 1/2 hour or so.

Does it work?

Very convenient and takes very little countertop space
I love how quickly this makes ice. It also offers two different sizes of ice which is nice. It is a bit noisy but you get used to it after awhile. If you don’t use the ice promptly it will tend to melt and make fresh ice.

Fantastic Product and Fantastic Service
The product has been great. I was thinking we would only use it occasionally. We use it all the time. Also our product was missing the scoop. Not a big deal. My daughter wanted this for Christmas so she didn’t have to fill ice trays. Although it works good it doesn’t break them up like you would think. She had to break the ice up every time she gets ice because it’s a big clump.

Makes excellent ice quickly!!!
Very simple for operation. Makes lots of ice quickly. Decent shape, two sizes of ice. Smaller exterior than prior, it was a replacement for same brand. Downfall- use six months of the year. It will probably fail in about two years-hate tossing something into trash that quickly. Probably sixth replacement, needs not to be a throw-away item.

Bullet ice at home, nothing better
If you like bullet ice this is the ice maker for you, I have used this non-stop since it arrived and love it, even though my icemaker in my fridge works I got tired of it always clogging at the door, I no longer deal with it, keep this little machine on my island and ice is available all the time. It’s not insulated so if you don’t use a lot of ice it will melt but we haven’t really had to deal with that problem and if it does it will just recirculate the water and make more ice.

Perfect for having ice all the time
I have been eyeing up counter top ice makers when I refused to get a fridge with a door ice and water dispenser. I am so glad that I was able to snag this one during the holiday deals. This baby makes ice super fast, it is easy to clean, and it is super easy to use!! I love that I can have ice quickly!I don’t like that this doesn’t keep your ice cold AFTER it is made. You do have to stay on top of it to empty into your freezer so that your ice doesn’t start to melt right after it is made. We do have a container/bag in the freezer for our ice. You definitely want to have a bag of some type to help break the ice up if you don’t intend on using the ice right away.

Makes as much ice as it says!
This machine is a pretty good work horse. I have purchased others and this one seems a bit noisy, but produces the amount of ice it should, according to it’s description and specs. I prefer the small ice cubes, but it is possible that the larger ones would last a little longer.I do like the black color, it is sleek looking. There is no place to put the scoop, but not a huge deal. It is hard to clean thouroughly, but the flavor is not metalic at all. It tasets like the water you put in, until it get’s really dirty… to clean I use a bottle brush, and a lot of patience. I guess if you were to use filtered water, this may not be an issue.

Works perfectly
I’ll start off by saying I would definitely recommend this ice maker. Super easy to set up and use. A little noisy, but not annoyingly so.Received my package on time. Everything in the box was in perfect condition. Set up was a breeze, after I washed everything I added the water, selected the size of ice cubes I wanted, and waited for the magic to happen. You have to discard the first 4 batches of ice but I had usable ice in less than an hour.The reason I gave it 4 stars is because once the ice is made, if you don’t use it, it kind of melts away. With that being said, once it melts the water from the melted ice gets used to make more ice, so on the plus side you don’t have to fill it with water constantly. I’ve had mine roughly 2-3 weeks and I filled it up again for the first time a couple of days ago. I guess that also depends on how much/ how often you’re consuming the ice. Hope this was helpful!

good but hard to clean
bought this around may, so we have have this for about 10 or so months now. it definitely does the job but once it gets moldy in the compartment where it creates the actual ice it is a pain to clean. the lid doesn’t come off & self cleaning doesn’t really do anything. if I was able to take the top compartment apart to clean it often & to avoid mold that would be great

A Decent Countertop Ice Maker
I had a problem with the first one I purchased about two months after receiving it. The manufacturer would not replace it and luckily I purchased the Asurion protection plan. Asurion sent me an Amazon E-Gift card for the original purchase price and they are going to fight it out with the manufacturer. I purchased another one (with a new Asurion plan) and so far it works great. It is a little on the noisy side. If you buy this or any other appliance on Amazon I STRONGLY recommend the Asurion protection plan. It is incredibly easy to file a claim for defective products.

Wish I’d bought this sooner
This has been a life saver! I don’t leave it on all the time, I tend to bring it out and fill a few bags of ice then put it away until needed. I use tap water and haven’t had any issue with the taste or the function of the machine. Several reviews complained about the melty ice – note that this isn’t a cooler. When it makes ice you need to collect it and put it in the freezer. I’ve had it for a few months so far, we’ll see how long it lasts 🤞🏻

Durable, Workhorse, Super Fast
I purchased this for a camping trip in early July 2023. When I returned I decided to set this up on the counter and continue to use it, not expecting too much with performance based upon other reviews here. I have had this machine on 24/7 for 5 months (minus draining a few times to wipe out). It has never failed and continues producing perfectly shaped ice (great for my Soda Stream Bottles). Within 6 minutes I have a handful of ice.Key: Do not use tap water in these machines and expect it to have a long life. I use distilled water ONLY. Although I have not tested it’s durability with tap water, I would not as the tap water here is very alkaline.

Excellent ice maker
First, this product originally arrived damaged as the package had been obviously dropped. However, Amazon and the seller replaced it immediately. I based my choice on an icemaker my brother has, from this same manufacturer. I ordered the same unit. It does not dissapoint!! I do not have an ice maker, and this does the job in minutes when I have company and are wanting to have ice. It is not designed to empty the ice into a bowl that you put back in the freezer, but just let it recycle the water/ice and you will have fresh ice until the machine is out of water. But, you can add water if you want continued ice. It produces ice in about 8 min, then continues to make ice.

Good Portable Ice Maker
Purchased the ice maker for our back bar. Comes well packaged. No issues there. We like the design and the fast cycle times. Giving it only four our of five stars because it’s a bit on the loud side and we haven’t had it long enough to comment on it’s durability yet. The noise level isn’t hateful but you do hear it. Overall, it’s a good value and would recommend this product.

Love my ice maker!
My refrigerator has an ice maker on the door that broke years ago. I got tired of buying bags of ice and so I tried this. My husband and I love it.! It does not take up too much counter space and the ice is perfect size. My husband likes to eat ice and he says he likes this ice because it is softer than regular ice. Great product!

For home use
So I got this for Prime Day. It’s a nice little machine. It doesn’t have a water inlet, so you have to pour water into the reservoir every now and then. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing because it makes the machine more portable. Good for people who travel and don’t trust or want to walk to hotel ice machines. Also, the ice storage area is not refrigerated or anything, so your ice cubes do melt, but they drip back into the reservoir and then they’re recycled. The ice doesn’t melt too fast though, so you’ll always have ice on hand for as long as you have water in the tank. It’s good for hosting small parties or if you have a small bar in your home or make smoothies/snow cones or just want some ice in your drink. I would not recommend this for commercial use. Home use is best and small office use is pushing it, but doable. I use ice more now than I did before I got this machine.

Keep the ice in a ziplock bag so you can easily break them apart when you need to take some out.
I LOVE this ice maker. I live in a rental with just a basic fridge/freezer unit so no built in ice maker, and the small freezer is always packed with barely room to keep an ice bin, and def no room to freeze ice in trays.The way this works is that the ice bullets are formed on metal rods which are the only part of the unit that is chilled to freeze the water, therefore This ice maker does not have a freezer compartment that will keep the finished ice bullets frozen so you will heed to immediately transfer the ice to your freezer as soon as the collection bin is full. The first time I made enough ice to fill my ice bin in my freezer, I realized that the ice bullets tend to have a melted outer layer so that once in the ice bin, they will all freeze into a block of ice bullets that need to be broken apart. I solved this problem by putting the ice bullets into a ziplock bag which I keep in my freezer ice bin. This allows me to easily break up the ice bullets every time I need to retrieve ice from my stash, as well as keeps the ice fresh by not adsorbing odors and also keeps it from sublimating away while in frozen storage. A gallon sized bag was not big enough to maximize the available storage space in my ice bin so I got the 2.5 gal size and those generously line my bin and allow me to store my ice bin’s maximum capacity of ice. When I want ice I just pull the bag out of the bin, drop it onto the counter a few times to break them apart, just like you have to do with a purchased bag of ice. After getting the ice I need out, I just put the bag of ice back in the freezer ice bin, squish out the air and seal the bag & stick it back in the freezer. Easy and fast. The water reservoir of the ice maker holds 2 liters and it just so happens that that amount of water makes the exact amount of ice bullets to completely fill up my freezer ice bin to max capacity so I am very happy with it. A small freezer compartment to collect the ice in as it is made would have rated it 5 stars, but the simpler design without it still works well for my needs and is a much more affordable price than a unit with such a freezer collection space, so a solid 4 stars for a useful unit that will require some personal intervention to transfer the ice into freezer storage as it is made.I do wish that it had an audio alert for the full bin indicator in addition to the red indicator light, so that I could get the ice into the freezer immediately, but since the unit is small, portable and does not need to be hooked up to a water line, I just placed it where I can see it from my desk chair and set an alarm on my phone to start looking at the indicator lights after 50-55 minutes and that is working very well for me.

Lasted 6 months
I am very disappointed that this machine only lasted six months. Up until it stopped working it was great. It now just says it needs water and all of the recommended troubleshooting suggestions don’t work. Wouldn’t purchase again.

Great Ice Machine! Can’t Live without One now…
For many years, I used traditional ice cube trays and just filled them up and froze them for my cold drink needs. I finally decided to purchase a ice machine and this machine certainly doesn’t disappoint! I wanted to get a dedicated ice maker that can keep cycling fresh ice as it melts and I can leave it on when home and always have ice at the ready. I didn’t want to invest heavily into the smaller cubed iced machines, and wanted to start small, and this machine still works flawlessly after a year of daily repetitive use.I’ve routinely cleaned the machine, as the area I live in does have heavy water. Heavy water particles do collect around the machine, but with some routine cleaning, I’ve never had an issue with the quality or qty of the ice this machine produces.This is a must have, and I can never go back to traditional ice cube trays. This makes my life so much easier, especially if you liked iced beverages daily.

Fast Ice!
I was expecting this ice maker to be noisier but don’t think it is bad at all. Super fast ice production! Keep this in mind…..the machine does not keep the ice frozen after it is made. Cubes drop into a basket where they slowly melt and drip back into the water used to produce ice. As the ice level lowers due to melting, the machine will kick out more cubes. It’s a continual process, as needed. I will say that because the ice is not kept frozen solid, it does not have the same properties as ice taken from your actual freezer…..guess you can’t have it all! Overall, we are pleased but must also add that we have only used it for a week…….and have not used the self-cleaning mode yet.

Works Great an Makes a full basket in less than time than it says. But only works for 6mths.
I just got mine yesterday earlier afternoon I let it sit like it says in the manual. For 24hrs. I then ran a cleaning cycle through it. I noticed that if you only fill it up to just before where it starts to dip on about a half inch below the fill line your Ice won’t come out wet when you move the basket of ice to a bag for freezing it in the freezer. Also for those having trouble with the sensors in it if you take a Qtip an just put 1 end in Alcohol an gently wipe the sensors with it an then use the other end to dry them off. That will fix the problem. I use only jugs of Filtered Drinking water in mine you can get it at Wal-mart for a $1.08 a gallon. Mine has been making clear Ice since I started it an I plan on leaveing it on all the time. Only time will tell how long this machine will last hopefully a long time cause I have a small fridge an no room for Ice trays nor bags of Ice as for my drinks it keeps them nice an cold I use soda pop right out of the box an it gets cold thanks to the ice this machine makes real fast. So am really happy an will recommend this machine to any one who needs Ice but has no room for it like me.Update: I have read all the Reviews regarding this machine an see many people complaning about the Ice not lasting very long in the basket an also about it coming out wet. If you have yours in the kitchen where a lot of heat is generated from the stove an other appliances then the heat is what is making the Ice melt real fast. My Ice maker is on the dinning room table away from the kitchen an the Ice doesn’t melt very fast an I am making small Ice not big so the basket is filling up faster than I can use it but it is staying cold an unless I wait several hours it is not melting away my machine made a full basket in only 40 mins. an then stopped because the basket was full I took a nap an still woke up to it still saying it was full also the Ice doesn’t melt very fast in my on the go tumbler I still have a 3/4 full of Ice after drinking all of my pop so if you want the Ice to last longer I suggest you move it out of the kitchen an put it somewhere that is away from any heat an you will be suprised at how long the Ice lasts.Update: I have had this Ice Maker going nonstop for almost a week now an it is working great. I have found out that for people who are using it an then turning it off that everytime you turn it off an then on again that you are sending a surge through the system which shortens the life of the Ice Maker if you want it to last a long time that you need to let it run 24/7. I also have discovered that if you like fountain drinks like you buy at places like Mc. Donalds an convience stores it is best to use the small setting also the large setting is good for putting in coolers that you take when you go on picnics an camping to keep food an fish if you like going fishing to keep them fresh. Both small an large melt at the same rate I know this cause I have tried both in drinks. The Ice Maker keeps the Ice good over night I have mine running 24/7 an every morning wake up to 3/4 of the basket full of Ice. I believe it is because of where I have mine sitting away from any heat source. As soon as I can I am going to buy another one for the future an would highly recommend this Black Ice Maker to everyone just remember to leave it running 24/7 an it will last a long time. The Ice has been melting so slow that I have had to add water 3 times in just 1 week so those that have said that the ice melts to fast must have their Ice Maker next to a heat source cause the Ice does not melt fast enough to add to the water source to make more when it is not near a heat source. So the conclusion is if you want a lot of Ice an you want it to last place your Ice Maker in the dinning room or in the bathroom or some other room away from any sunlight or other source of heat. Also the Ice Maker keeps the Ice frozen just like as if it came from a fridge Freezer. An it is just as hard as if you took it out of one. I know cause I did a test to find out I love this little Ice Maker alot an I know if you follow my suggestions you will too.Update: Well I have had it running nonstop 24/7 now for over a month an it is still working this is the best $108 I have ever spent. I have had no problems what so ever with it I just keep it full of water an it keeps making Ice for me I love this Ice Maker an have been telling my friends to get one cause it will save you alot of money on buying Ice from the stores.Update well my Ice Maker is still going strong an is making this summer alot more enjoyable I just let it run all the time an scoop out Ice when I need it. Cause I only occasionally move the ice in the basket to make room for more in it by breaking up what little bit has started melting so it only runs when I do that so it is not being over worked which is why I think some are not lasting very long is cause they are being made to produce a full basket all the time instead of just a little an then getting a break bye letting some of the ice melt a little. I love my Ice maker an I will buy another 1 to put back for when this one finally quits.Update: Well it is September 4th an my Ice Maker is still going strong an is producing a lot of Ice so get one cause I believe this Ice Maker will last a long time if properly taken care of an maintained. My Ice Maker is working just like it did when I first got it there has been no changes in performance.Update: The fan on the side has started to quit working an I have had to use a knife to move the fan blades to get it to work. It starts to work again an then quits. I have asked for a replacement an was told I have to ship it back which is a hassle so I am throwing it in the garbage an buying 1 from Walmart instead cause their Customer Service is better an I don’t have to go through the hassle of shipping it back I just take it to the local store if asked but usually they just give me a refund I will not be recommending this Ice Maker to anyone.

Amazing machine
This machine is absolutely amazing!! Quiet and makes ice very fast! Not only does the family love it but the dogs love the ice as treats more then the normally freezer ice cubes

Wish I purchased sooner!
I have been wanting a counter top ice maker for about 6 years now. Finally found this one on sale and loving it so far!I know over time I have seen negative “reviews” of all counter top ice makers for the ( it thaws ice made in the basket ) yes as frustrating as it may be remember this is an ice maker!If you have ever worked in a restaurant or with any bigger ice makers they are hooked to a water pipe and the ice does need to be broken up at times. Not just what has fallen in those but also Ice melts down in those as well.The fact that I no longer have to make ice cubes and wait for 6 hours or more to get them is incredible!I have been able to use this already for my 40 oz tumblers helping me increase my water intake since my freezer space has been limitedAlso to help cool down cubed potatoes I blanched and flash froze today. No prep of enough ice needed just had the machine making it for me as I worked in and out of the kitchen and I always had ice!If the ice melts together just lightly hit it with the scooper to loosen it up and it’s able to scoop again.Honestly the cheepy scooper would be my only complaint.I randomly found a pet food scooper at the dollar general but it didn’t have markings for the scoop sizes. So it’s not helpful for dog food feedings. I’ve been using it to scoop my ice out of the basket since that is stronger.If I can figure out how to add a video and the scooper pictures I will add them in.IF I have issues with this machine I will edit everything if no edit then I highly recommend this machine to anyone!Also! If having several people over that would be using a lot of ice I would recommend using a small cooler or insulated ice bucket to have a bit extra ice on hand as I have been heavy on the ice in my cup mentioned about for the room temp water I’m adding into it.The machine fills up quickly but I believe drops 9 ice cubes small or large size every 6-10 minutes depending on temps inside the area the machine is being used.Super easy to add water in.Down fall would be seeing the water fill line as it is in white and the inside is also white. The lighting in my kitchen makes it hard to find it depending on time of day.

Amazing device
I have had it running continuously for a month now. I am making ice to support an ice water circulation device being used after knee replacement surgery. I am using only distilled water. I am AMAZED at the automation built into the machine. I have two chores – remove the ice, add water – that’s it the machine just keeps running and running!I have one, and only one, negative observation – when I received the machine I very carefully unpacked it and noticed that the many parts were taped down – obviously to prevent damage during shipment, but the ice delivery tray was also taped down, and the tape was in a very difficult to remove position. It took maybe 15 minutes to remove a little piece of tape. That piece of tape was only visible with use of a very powerful flashlight. I can only imagine the problems I would have had if I had missed that piece of tape.My advice to anyone purchasing this machine – be very, very attentive to the detail of the tape on the ice delivery tray before putting it into use.

Wow it makes ice super fast!
Only been using a couple days. So far it seems to be doing its job. Was dropping ice within 10min. It surprisingly makes a lot of ice with one fill. The fill line isn’t quit accurate as the water line touches the ice already made. Also doesn’t seem to keep ice frozen for a long period. This is definitely an ice on demand machine. Not for storage of bulk ice.

Great inexpensive ice maker
This is the best thing I have ever bought. We love ice and was buying bags of ice several times a week. This is just awesome to watch making ice. I’ll never go without one of these again. The only negative I can say is the ice is watery when you take out. I sit tray on a dish towel to absorb excess water. I would have given it a 5 star otherwise. I’ll be contacting customer service to see if this can be resolved. Only paid $75 and it will pay for itself in no time because we’re not buying bags of ice at $3 a bag.

So far, so good!
I purchased this Silonn ice maker 3 weeks ago and have used it several times. It makes ice and performs as promised. No problems. It arrived in new packaging, perfectly clean. Set up is quick. It takes up little counter space and is easy to carry. I didn’t purchase this machine to make ice for drinks, so the quality of the ice isn’t terribly important. I use the ice to chill a stainless steel condenser coil. I find that using chilled water and keeping the machine in a cool place helps make the best ice. I don’t consider it to be terribly noisy. Before I ordered this machine I looked at quite a few similar brand name models, and found from reading reviews that they ALL crap out after about 6 months. So, I bought the cheapest one. I’m probably only going to run it intermittently for a few months this winter, which might help with longevity. If it lasts for several months the cost will be equal to what I would spend on ice, without having to drive to a store. In the meanwhile, I have ice!

Noisy
I am surprised at the reviews that said the noise level is low. It is much noisier than my last ice maker. In fact when I set it up and it dropped ice the first time it scared my dog. It works great though and seems to make ice pretty fast. I am going to keep it but wouldn’t purchase it again.

Shut up and spend your money!
LOVE this machine! One of my favorite purchases in a LONG time! All it does is crank out quality ice! Keep in mind it’s not a freezer so if you don’t dump the ice into a bucket for your freezer, it is going to melt. But it doesn’t melt away immediately and what does melt recycles through the machine and makes ice again. You cannot beat this machine for the money! HIT THAT BUY NOW BUTTON!!

That it actually works as advertised
After startup it makes ice rapidly about 8 mins on small settings. Wow that I am so impressed. Bought extended warranty so I don’t have to worry about it for now! I’d recommend it!
