Great microwave
I will admit even though I looked at the dimensions I thought it would be a bit smaller, but glad it isn’t. My plates fit perfectly. It heats well, I came from a 1200W appliance, to this. I just have to heat things a bit longer which is really non-issue for me. It’s so quiet though!! I thought it wasn’t working at first! My last microwave was way louder. Overall I am happy. The control panel is easy to read in normal kitchen lighting, the controls are simple as well. I like they give you a guide sticker in the microwave too….great for people like me who forget things on a regular basis! Would recommend.

we like it
I like the size and the door open button, which means you can be holding a plate with one hand and open the door with the other. Our former microwave by another manufacturer which worked only 10 months had a pull handle and would slide toward you when you opened the door, you had to hold it down. We will see how long this unit works.

A Great Choice

Nice microwave
We found it quite noisy but added pads to the hard plastic feet to limit vibrations on granite countertop. Still a little louder than our old microwave but has more power and heats food evenly and quickly! Otherwise I would give it 5 stars

nice nuke
It’s a nice nuke but I do have some qualms. first off is the clock doesn’t stay on, theres a setting in the menu for it but no matter how i set it it never shows the time. other one is it beeps soooo many times in pretty short intervals after its done. like it reeeaaaly wants you to take your food out NOW. it’s worse than a seatbelt buzzer.

Easy one touch buttons!
After trying 2 other microwaves, we are super happy with this one.Here’s why I like it: you can press the start button, it will automatically cook for 30 seconds, press it twice for 60, etc. You can press the 1 button for a minute, the 2 for 2 minutes ,etc..There is a release button, instead of pulling on the door handle like many others. This avoids having to hold the microwave in place to keep from moving the MW or spilling your beverage that is inside.The time is easy to set & it is easy to clean.

Wonderful update
My other microwave died after 20 years and we are sure happy to replace it! Very easy to set; lots of new options that are user-friendly. Took it out of the box; washed the plate set it up in 2 steps; plugged it in and heated up some leftovers. Never missed a beat and wished we had replaced the old one sooner!

Really Great Microwave
I haven’t had to purchase a microwave in a long time, but after a move to a studio apartment that didn’t have the usual accompanying microwave I trusted other Amazon reviews and went with this one. Definitely a great microwave. I love its settings and its size. It’s a microwave
Not a bad microwave! My only complaint is the door – it often gets stuck when you press the button, and you have to pull on the door to convince it to open, which can be inconvenient when you have food in your other hand. Other than that, works as expected.

Allows more counter space than our old one.
We hesitated at first going smaller with less wattage but took a chance and now love our decision. It does everything we need as we mostly use it for reheating foods and making occasional popcorn and baked potatoes even though we know it can do more. What I like most is the size as it fits so well in our limited counter space. I like the push button opener minus the handle and it doesn’t move as it opens because we have it sitting on a mat that keeps it in place. We are glad it’s a new addition to our kitchen family.

It’s quiet
OK so before buying this microwave my old one kept losing the time this one hasn’t lost the time since I installed it and it’s been over a month2nd the light it has below it is very bright and offers not 1 but 2 brightness levels 😊It has multiple fan settings that work super well too 😊As for the metal rack in the microwave I’ve never had one before and I haven’t tried to cook 2 things at once but I found it useful stillAs for the cooking power it’s quite perfect for my needsIt has a random coolness factor as the back wall the of the microwave isn’t flat and has a cool geometric design on it and I love it10/10 I would Def buy againTo install I highly recommend 2 people as 1 person it’s kind of a handful to hold and attach the bolts above it

Great microwave for the price
It’s nicer than I expected. It has all the features of larger models, but fits into a small space under cabinets. I really like that it has a button to open. Our last one had a handle that never failed to crack me in the knuckles (I’m left-handed). The reheat plate setting is a great feature and it’s also nice that it has a fast 1 through 6 minute one-button option. It’s also quiet in operation.

I love the size and sleek style. Small, but great for beverages, frozen meals, breakfast burritos, etc. It is an additional microwave to use with our larger one if needed. I have only heated a few things so far, but it cooked everything through evenly it seemed. I did add 30 seconds to 1 minute to the items to make sure it was hot, as this is only 700W.

Excellent quality and easy to use
This is an excellent quality microwave and very easy to use. There are settings pre-set for use (like popcorn) that all you do is press that button. It is the perfect size to heat up or cook anything on a plate. I found the directions easy to follow. I definitely recommend this microwave for many reasons including the price.

Not impressed.
The microwave came dented and the only option is to return it. There is no doubt the dent was there when it was put in the box as there is no dent or tear in the box. I am unable to do this myself as an elderly woman. I am a Prime Member and thought there might possibly be another option, an adjustment maybe, but no. I am disappointed. (This purchase is also the second one in a couple of weeks that was defective when it was sold and shipped to me.) The microwave it replaces is dead. I had to impose on a neighbor to help with the switchover. This one is supposedly higher wattage, but you can’t prove it by me.

WARRANTY PROCESS ISSUES – BLACK+DECKER EM720CB7 Digital Microwave, 700W, Stainless Steel, 0.7 Cu.ft
Updated 20 Dec 2023:Well, here I am 90 days out from the purchase and about 6 weeks ago, it appears the venting fan no longer works, all steam remains and accumulates and since was not paying attention initially – accumulated significant’y under the rotating tray! (Wife asked,”what’s up with all this smoke/steam?!, water!).So, the 30 day window to return is gone – yet may yet “Chat” just to fully document to them.So, I try the Warranty service and wade through TWO seperate sights to then be told there’s a “special” division that handles THESE units. Hmmm, okay… Instead of doing a “warm handoff” considering all the work I just did – I do, as they could, FORWARD the entire mail to the Email they provide.I then get back an email of “questions” (some bot response with an individuals name with a big thank you and let us know….!). So, ALL was in the email, but answer again and then take a photo of the serial number tag (no one told me where it was btw!!).I notice the email added “numbers”, so “support@…. turned into “support+nnnnnnnnn@…” and I had forgotten to attach the serial number phone pic so resend all and to specifically “support@…” AND the other too with the yet ANOTHER incident number.Next day (time difference with CHINA I am used to – my mornings are the best time to engage them it seems) – I get an email (yesterday) – “we have one more question for you” embedded in a link – RATE OUR SUPPORT SERVICE for this… “like”, “don’t like” or similar words. My response was – rater what? You have not done anything. So another day goes by and NO RESPONSE.So, I now have a Microwave just barely 90 days old, barely used since is 700 watts and used for only specific things, and? Wow – I can’t afford to buy stuff like this here if there’s NO WAY TO RETURN, REPLACE, REPAIR, REFUND IT!!. Wow.I said to them too – with how this is going – I look forward to reviewing how this goes – so, here this is to date.I will contact Amazon likely – since they may intercede, etc., or not, but letting them know directly and specifically and with ALL the messages in their system – they do review this stuff (I had one prior bad experience I got resolved by involving them directly within it all). So, can’t fault Amazon in this, but if this is how this goes – and can’t rely on what’s sold here, then?————————————————————————————————–I purchase for the Brand since have had many items that just seem to do well for me.This is a disappointment functionally for two reasons -1) IT SLIDES all over the counter. Why would ANY OEM build something that will live on a formica counter top with SLICK, unstable supports? I just don’t get it.2) Tiny thin, writing on Black, not back lighted – Labeling. Until this product I never needed to turn the big light on in the Kitchen AND put on my glasses. Now I do.The noise put me off a bit when first started up – startled me.All of my other Microwaves, ever, had a fan noise and more of a higher pitch, light hum to it. This one is to me, 3x’s as loud, with a low, very textured buzz (not a hum a buzz, buzzing – heavy running sound).It’s not the least expensive, not the most costly and since I find price is not always, or even usually an indicator of “good/not-good” – I went with brand and reviews.I did read the, or see the reviews that state the same as I say now – NOW I understand – but just didn’t “get it” until today – wow – what to do.Otherwise, the controls are somewhat intuitive.The times to heat are about the same or the same as on my 1200 watt unit or the prior 900 watt unit. I felt that there was no need to use that much wattage to heat water, or warm food, etc.I was anticipating the inside dimensions being “tight”, but remain functional for what I experience with other units. So, what I mean, as e.g., is like – I’d love to heat 3 slices of Pizza same time one place as with the room or power with the 1200 watt unit. However, I often wind up doing two or even one slice in order to over all just heat the slice versus getting very “spotty” hot/cold not evenly warmed. Slight overlaps of slices never works and actually have burned things when got jammed/not rotate. So, the smaller footprint would seems as a non-issue, or better this way. HOWEVER, as the Manual says, allow for THREE INCHES all around this unit when using, placing it. So, it may not “functionally” be a small a footprint as you imagine if don’t have that for air/heat which you need to take *seriously!So, anyway, it’s a microwave. The door looks safe, will remain safe I hope, not sag, loosen up, etc., “leak” as is the warning concerning the – Door. However again, the Non-back lit Control Labels, small font/type and thin/light/hard to see AND that now I have to figure a way to keep it from SLIDING ALL OVER my counter top – SO DANGEROUS even for “Adults” – WOW. I looked in the box for some anti-slide thing not installed – none. I mean – where – is a Microwave EVER INSTALLED that is on a NON-SMOOTH, easy to clean, sanitize surface – “sliddy”? Where – Black+Decker?In my opinion, that miss the mark for what I would otherwise, as first use rate would rate otherwise, 4 or even 5 stars. Then the Buzzing when running thing – is likely something that could be addressed. As with many things I see today now usually has to do with lowering the cost of manufacturing. I deal with mechanical audio and “hear” what they’ve done versus could do to quiet it down substantially.So, I hope that assists someone. Additionally, all in can say if Sliding is an issue, Small Control Labels, and Noise is an issue – take those Reviews to heart to consider – those are issues and wish I did. Yes, I could return it and may – we’ll see. Who’s to say what the others may be like – so… how much time to spend on this. Returns, especially with something this size are not easy for me to “get to a shipper” – so, consider all that is my advice and experience.

Just not for me
The unit was easy enough to operate, quiet but the control panel and door button were pretty stiff. Just pushing the button to open the door causes the box to slide back. Having to keep repositioning the box would annoy me to no end. Also, after my 23 year old Panasonic 1100 watt finally died, I thought I could go smaller considering how I use it. Nope, not so much. The lower wattage and smaller box — nope, not for me. Sad to say I boxed it up and returned on day 2 after only testing by boiling water in a silicone container — not even cooking anything. That day, I ordered a Toshiba 1100 watt unit with a door handle (not button) which came the same day and I love it. I guess its what you get used to … nothing negative to the Black & Decker unit.

I bought this microwave to replace a smaller microwave in my travel trailer. I know this is a counter top microwave but it is perfect in my travel trailer. The microwave that came in my used travel trailer was similar to this but only smaller. It was so small a bag of popcorn would get stuck while turning on the turntable. This microwave was the perfect size. It fit the opening without making any modifications. I researched many different makes and models. I settled on this one because it was the same as the small one, only bigger. And I got it used for around $60. I was prepared to spend around $150. Today I’m camping at the lake and this is the first time it has been used. Guess what, popcorn didn’t get stuck while using it. I’m sure this microwave will work fine as it is the big brother to the one I took out. Some people complained about the noise level. I have used it a few times and the noise level is about the same as other microwaves I have used in the past

Installation went okay.
Purchased this as a replacement and installed it ourselves. Fair price and a good size. Installation went okay but when securing the microwave to a top shelf, the top front screws, the frame shell lifted in one side no one will probably notice except me. The removable shelf does not allow the space for a coffee mug to be heated without removing the shelf. 1,000 watts seems to be adequate. Controls are easy to operate and read.

Perfection!
Super great large microwave that gets things HOT in 1 minute 🙂 I use the start 30 secs button always so that’s what I was looking for but it would be nice if I could pin in my own exact time like 1:45 etc. My cons are that its a bit on the loud side and you gotta make sure to clean the metal piece as it can super printed with handprints, but its great in all the ways that matter!!

Decent Microwave for Price
My wife and I were split on microwaves and ended up getting this one (her choice). It looks nice and is easy to use, but recently it’s started making more random noise when heating food up (and we’ve only had it for three months). We’re not sure if there’s an issue with the microwave or what’s going on with it, but it does get unnerving sometimes.Aside from that, there’s nothing wrong with it. The door opens easily, the buttons are easy to press, and the inside cleans fairly well.

Great oven – BECAREFUL INSTALLING, read below…
Great oven for the price. Only compliant is when installing the top bolts, we stubbed a bolt on the nut clip in the oven .. disloging that nut clip, which dropped inside the oven. Had to take the covers off the oven to retreive and reposition that nut; and the disassembly was NOT straight forward, a real pain. Lesson learned, DO NOT force those bolts in, make sure your cabinet holes line up and are large enough, before shoving the bolt through.

First time buying a Black & Decker Microwave, and it works great. It looks great and I liked having a push button to open the microwave door. It is easy to use. No issue heating up food, works as intended. Noise level is good, similar to other microwave is previously owned. Used it for 5 months already, not issue thus far. Happy with the purchase.

Came damaged
Product came damaged in the back left corner. I managed to bend it all back so I didn’t have to return it. Needed a microwave bad. Overall I got it to attach and rest properly in the space. Works great. Looks nice.
