    Give it time

When I first got this product, I was amazed at how little there was in the jar. Yeah, pricey for what you get. I put one scoop in Ozzy’s food and he hated it. Well, this stuff is going back at that price and he won’t eat it! But, he was going through so much at that point in his life. He had been losing his fur and just wasn’t himself at all. I took him to the vet and they gave him a steroid shot, thinking it was allergies. That did nothing. Took him back to the vet later and they put him on Prozac, thinking he was having “psychosis issues”. He was vomiting and had diarrhea. I changed his food and once I found a brand he would actually eat that didn’t exacerbate his symptoms, he started feeling better. But… he was hateful from holding him down to “try” to get the Prozac down him. He would swat at me when I walked by and bite me if I tried to pet him. He just wasn’t my same Oz, so I took him off the Prozac.I decided to try the Nutra Thrive one more time before sending it back. It seemed rather strong, using a whole scoop, so I tried 1/2 scoop twice a day. THAT did the trick! Now he eats every bite of his cheap food that he loves and he’s so much better than he was. He’s been on the Nutra Thrive for two months now and his fur is growing back, he’s so lovable now, and he runs through the house chasing the dog instead of the dog chasing him! Yes, it’s expensive, but I would do anything to make my boy happy and healthy. He will be on this for the rest of his life. I think if you see the difference in your cat that I see in mine, you’ll agree, the price is worth it.

Two thumbs (paws) down from my cat

I tried sprinkling the powder on her kibble and in moist food and she refused to eat it. A waste of money. The comments about not much product in the container are understatements. The manufactures should be embarrassed about the ‘settling’ to such a small portion of powder compared to the size of the container.

I’ve been using this product for a few years now and it doesn’t disappoint. I notice the fur on my cat is really healthy and for the most part my cat has been healthy since shes’ taken it. Good quality and clean product.I highly recommend for your pets health!

    Cats Healthcare

I really like this product as do my cats. I mix it in their wet food and they seem to like it. Is it expensive? Yes and the jar is only 1/3 full but it helps my fur babies it’s worth it.

No scoop and serving size is a “scoop”

Well as the other reviews state/show, the jar is large for what you actually get, not sure why that is (the picture here was taken just after opening a new jar) so I figured the size was to accommodate the scoop? Other people show that they received a scoop. I did not. Yet the container says that a serving is a “scoop” or 1.4 grams – It doesn’t give any other measurement and I’m not going to pull out a scale just to measure a gram! Not knowing what a scoop is defined as, I mashed 1/8 teaspoon into my cat’s wet food and he lapped it right up! He’s 15 years old and still likes to go outside but lately has been looking a little haggard — he’s always looked pristine and well-groomed so I figured he probably ate something sketchy out there and needed more nutrition. I’m just glad he ate his food with this in it, and hopefully it will correct his issues. I wish they had given me a scoop so I would know what I was doing! If he improves on this dosage I’ll come back and raise the rating.

A little goes a long way.

I have four cats, two of which are rescues which were in bad condition with bad teeth and matted coats. They are doing well. Because Thrive is expensive, I give it to them about once per week to two weeks approximately. Between that and the quality food, they are doing well. Their coats, although naturally fuzzy, gleam when the light hits them just so, and they have plenty of energy. Thrive is worth the price.

    Nutra Thrive Nutritional Supplement

I’ve been using Nutra Thrive Nutritional Supplement for both of my cats on the recommendation of my veterinarian. I adopted a kitten from a local shelter that needed some additional nutrition to support his immune system. I sprinkle the powder on the dry food and both of my cats eat it.

MANUFACTURE DATE 2 YEARS IN THE PAST

I received this item and immediately checked for an expiration date. That’s one of the first things I do since this is important to me. The manufacture date was 2 years ago – January of 2022. I immediately went to my orders to return the item. I then got the notice that this item is not eligible for return. Extremely disappointing since I NEVER would have purchased an item that was 2 years past the date of manufacture.

    Pricey but works

I would be inclined to give a lower rating based on the tiny amount that comes in the container. It appears to be more like 1/4 full. However, I want them to keep selling it. My 3 super picky tuxies love it when mixed in a little wet food. It’s the only way I can get omegas down them–they turn up their noses at everything else. Their sensitive tummies seem to be doing better, along with their coats being shinier. I believe its helping their ears to be a little less itchy, but they keep going outside and rolling around, which makes them pick up allergens. I give my two girls a half scoop and my big boy closer to a full scoop.

Nutra Thrive for an Older Cat

It’s a very good product – friends say their cats love it. Our cat is 18 years old and very hard to please so some days he skarfs it down (sprinkled on dry food with a little bit of water mixed in) and other days he ignores it. He is a cat!

    Nutra Thrive

I was very impressed with the Nutra Thrive vitamins for cats. Only a week or so after giving them to my cats, I noticed a big difference in my cats’ vitality. I have 3 fifteen-year olds and a 24 year old cat. Most impressive was my 24 year old, who started playing with cat toys by herself! She was throwing them around and chasing them like a kitten! The other 3 were chasing each other around the house constantly, and it had been a while since they did that. Highly recommend!

Great source of vitamins – but expensive for 1/2 of a jar !

I love the combination of vitamins in this my cat. Cats cannot digest carbohydrates and they need several other vitamins and nutrients in their food. However, I opened the jar and it was only half full. For $45 I would hope to have gotten more. It’s a great product but too expensive for me.

    Healing for my cat

My poor little Punpkin has lots of skin issues. He is constantly itching and started having bald spots and scabs. I will admit that for me this product is a tad pricey but I’ll just have to budget for it because my cats fur is coming back in and almost all his scabs have healed up. I buy Blue Buffalo which is supposed to be good quality food but apparently it is lacking in nutritional value. My cat if extremely picky about his food so adding this supplement seems the best solution for now.

that my cats health could of improved, dry skin issues especially in winter

im so dissappointed, i have 3 cats, one will literally eat anything and everything. the other hard food only and third a strict diet due to health issues. i have put it on hard food, mixed with soft, none of the things i tried to do worked. even my cat who eats anything, walks away from it. this product may be a good product, but my cats need to like it and eat it. so no luck with my 3, sort of a waste of money. but i will go back to homepathic foods etc for my cats. i also bought the renew drops as well not luck with that either.

Helped my cat but she needed more enzymes

My cat was diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. After taking her to two vets and having her on steroids and antibiotics for 6 months, changing her food, her condition continued to get worse. Out of desperation I ordered this after seeing advertisements for the dog formula on TV. It helped her within about 8 days of using it. I wouldn’t say she liked the taste and a scoopful in her wet food was a lot but part of her condition makes her ravenously hungry so she ate it. It helped her gas and indigestion a lot. Unfortunately, she continued to have weight loss and a terrible coat so I took her recently to a specialist. Turns out she has EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency). This is why this powder gave her some relief because it has digestive enzymes which she needs to digest her food. Now I give her a strong enzyme supplement from the vet and she is getting better. I mention all this in case you have similar serious issues with your dog or cat. I encourage you to seek a good veterinary diagnosis. I think this would be a great supplement for less serious digestive issues or just general health.

    Will Keep Buying This

I’m no veterinarian, chemist, or nutritionist, but according to my limited research, this product appears to be well rated and highly recommended. All I know is that the cat I rescued came to me malnourished, under-weight, with an unhealthy looking coat, very bad breath, and bald spots. After 3 months of of giving him this supplement, coupled with a better quality cat foot (Purina Pro Plan wet and dry), his coat is beautiful (shiny, super soft, no bald spots), he is a healthy weight, with much better breath! I don’t think there is a great cat food out there, so I will keep giving my cat this supplement for sure! I just wish there was a comparable one for dogs.

Helped with my cat’s vomiting issues

Since my cat Snickers, who is 16 years old, has been on this, her vomiting is not as frequent. I sprinkle it on her food every morning. She still vomits but not every day so it seems to have cut the frequency. I am sure she feels better also.

It works if you do this

There is a way this works. I found the powder is a deterrent as they sniff and up the nose it goes. So not a good way to start and they want to avoid that happening again. Of course they would avoid. But Solved by wetting my fingers and shaking a few drops of water in the food and stirring in the powder. My cat not only eats his food but on the occasion I get a bit too much water, he laps it up like gravy juice. Why the vendor just doesn’t instruct this is the mystery question. My cat’s mood, health and coat are all improved with this product. It works!

Gives your cat what regular food doesn’t!

Our pets are increasingly sick because they don’t receive the nutrition from pet food that they need. This herbal powder quickly helps your cat to a better coat, digestion and vibrancy. It’s expensive, but hey, it works, so I keep buying it!

Expensive! Jar less than half full!!

Wow! Take a look at the photo I uploaded! I just opened the jar. It is less that half full! I’m picking up the 14 yo Siamese mix cat from the rescue tomorrow so I have not yet fed it this supplement. I gave the review three stars because in all fairness I really don’t have enough info (maybe it’s a wonder drug!) but I just HAD to post the photo of the jar right away!!! I will update this review in a month or two once this supplement takes effect. More than likely I will only be administering a “sprinkle” onto the cat’s food because it is just SO expensive!!

    Cats Hate It

So…I’m like most cat owners, if there is anything to make my cat happier or healthier – I’m in. I gave this to my three cats – 2 of them would not eat if this was mixed in. The 3rd ate it, no difference in behavior or appearance. What really bothers me is that this came in a container that was 10% full. Either it needs to breathe like a fine wine, or marketing is more important than substance, or its just a scam. You decide. Think its one of those products people buy once and due to their marketing machine that’s enough to make them profitable.

    Not Worth the Money

If you have money to throw away feel free to buy it. It doesn’t really help the cat but to feelGood that you have done something good for your cat. It’s very expensive for a half content in a small package. Not worth it. My cat wouldn’t touch it.

    It’s working!

My cat had been throwing up, saw the vet which helped a little. I saw advertisement for this product and thought I would give it a try, even though I was skeptical. I sprinkled some into the cat food and mashed it around. The cat, as usual, runs away from food, so I spread some on her paw. Couple of days later I notice she ate some cat food from her dish, hasn’t thrown up since so I would say this product is working. And I have only sprinkled some of it on her wet food and her dry food.

Vet recommended but cat was not a fan!

Pretty expensive for not being prescription-based but was highly recommended by vet to help for weight gain due to renal failure. My cat was not a fan of the smell and mixing one scoop with wet food made it kind of pasty. Decided to stick with the same brand treats instead.

my cat is an indoor/outdoor cat. she never ate much and started looking scraggly and losing hair. I can’t get her into a carrier to go to the vet so i gave her this because it works great for my dogs. She immediately started to change. she is visibly healthier with a normal appetite and the fur has grown back! she is also calmer. great product. just wish it wasn’t so expensive.

When I gave a scoop to my cat, she threw it up. I give her a pinch and stir it into her food really good.Slowly increasing. She no longer has scabs on her back. Her hair is smooth and silky. Her blood workis perfect for 14 years old.

    I think it helps cat.

I have a 10 year old Russian blue cat. My cat has had numbers of test trying to figure out what is wrong with him. This supplement seems to give my cat more energy making him to be more like himself. I don’t think this is going to cure him. I definitely can see a difference in his personality.

    Slack Fill

We’ve used this product for 30 days. Our cats have a little more energy and their coats are shinier and softer. A noticeable but not dramatic difference. The product is extremely expensive and cats are finicky, and do not always eat, compounding the cost. Price comes down to a little over $1.00 per serving. The package is only 20% filled which is deceiving. Slack fill is legal but unethical as it deceives the buyer into believing they’re buying more than they are. Definite but small improvement.

My 2 11 year old cats love it

Just received today, mixed with some chicken I give them as a “snack”, they kept staring at me and meowing , wanting more! Pretty incredible as both very finicky.Just don’t understand why the container is half empty, not sure if the quantity they claim it has is correct. Or is because ordered from Amazon and not directly from company? have been given the dog version to my now 18 year old terrier mix for a few years now, order from company directly. It is a normal full container. Removed One star just because of this issue.

    Disappointed

So many great reviews but some cats can be finicky and stubborn. One reviewer suggested to give it time and to divide into 2 meals. I tried that first and my 14 yo still wouldn’t even try it. I tied a very small amount in her lickable treats and also in some wet food. She still wouldn’t eat it. All she wants to eat is the squeeze up treats so she is not getting proper nutrition. It’s not returnable so I’ll try it again in a couple of weeks.

Senior cat benefits from taking this supplement

Our senior cat was nine when we adopted himand was not very active. He is thirteen now, and plays like a kitten. He is a rescue, and his coat was not nearly as soft when we adopted him. His fur is luxuriously soft.I attribute his energy level and the quality of his coat to his getting the ingredients in this supplement.

    Where’s the scoop?

The product arrived, but there was no scoop included so I have no idea how much to use. I tasted the powder, it’s savory if not salty. Reminds me a bit of dry beef ramen sauce. So I think it should be used in small amounts.

    My cat adores this product😻

I’ve seen a lot of complaints that the powder is only 1/3 full. I’m not sure why it’s package that way. However, my cat only needs 1/3 of a scoop daily. One full scoop would make her vomit. My cat is nine years old and weighs 9 pounds. I sprinkle it in her wet food which I give her in the evenings. She loves the taste. And it’s always licking her chops when she’s done eating. Also, the time I’ve been using this a little less than three months, her coat is shinier healthier and she’s shedding less. Another nice bonus is that her stools are not so stinky anymore. Note, I didn’t say odorless.Another plus is she is much more active and alert than she was prior to taking this product.

My cat doesn’t look or act any better and he still throws up…

My cat doesn’t look or act any better and he still throws up…I sat him down and had a long talk with him to find out if he felt any better after taking this vitamin supplement, but he still refuses to communicate in any meaningful way (to humans anyway)So give this stuff to your cat if YOU want to feel better as if you are doing something good for them, but in their humble opinion, they rather just run around outside and catch a mouse or a bird or some other kind of moving critter that catches their eye!

My cats do not like it!

I’ve been wanting to order this for months, and I finally did. I opened the plastic jar to see that it was about 1/10 full. What a waste of resources and intentionally misleading. This should be sold in a much smaller container to avoid such waste. Also, my cats don’t care for the taste. A couple of them will eat canned food if I have it mixed in, but my older kitty, who I really bought it for, just refuses to eat any food that has any of this in it or on it. It’s a shame. I’ll keep trying and might give it to him via syringe a couple of times per week to be sure he’s getting proper nutrition.

Start off slow, results are amazing.

As with anything new for a cat, I started this off VERY slow. I sprinkled just a smidge of powder on the wet food and stirred it in. (tip: my cat loves the Inaba chicken broth packets and I sprinkled then stirred the powder in). Each day I would add a bit more. After 3 weeks, we are up to a scoop on all of his food. HE LITERALLY WAITS FOR HIS FOOD and CLEANS the bowls now. I’ve never seen anything like it. He has chronic kidney issues, and we just had to get 7 teeth removed this year because he also has teeth reabsorption. He is 13, and with this product he is so happy and more social. His coat is incredibly soft too. Last night he came out and visited our company. He has never done that. I can’t wait to show my vet this product. Given this has Taurine in it, I would also like to get his kidney levels rechecked. My cat still drinks a ton of water, but I am hoping this will also help that over time. So, for anyone who is having trouble getting their cat to eat it, just go slow and add a little bit each day.

product barely covered the bottom of jar

The cats didn’t seem to mind the flavor but this is very expensive for what you get. The jar is much larger that what is on the inside.Less than a 10th of the jar is product.

    Doesn’t solve hairball issue

I have a Maine coon cat, which has fairly long hair. Therefore, hairballs are always an issue in our house. I had hoped that this supplement or vitamin would help solve the hairball issues for my cat. It has not.

    Jar less than 1/2 full!

Just open this and wanted to give it a try on our two cats but it bear minimum, this should be at least half if not 2/3 of the way full for what you’re paying. This is the most leading packaging of any brand I’ve ever encountered in my entire life. Not sure how they can continue to stay in business with such a small amount of product while charging that much!I’m hoping the benefits far outweigh how misleading it is In regards to the packaging and disappointment went opening the canister.

    They actually LIKE IT

This seems to have helped the 6 yr old Queen with some fur and stomach issues. She’s livelier and “seems” happier. She’s always been a kibble cat who likes soupy wet food, so I just rinse out the small can with this in water and dump it over. … Queen and our 1 yr old dripin both lick their bowls dry in no time. A bit pricy but I hope I can keep it coming as things tighten up here.

Brings new life and energy to cats!

This stuff is really amazing! We add it to our barn cats canned moist food (mix well) when we close them in the barn at night, then we devide this mixture over each of our 2 cats bowls containing 1/4 cup of dry food. They love it and the food is completely gone by morning when we let them out of the barn. Our cats are 10 years old and we almost lost one of them, but this powder has given both of them new life and lots of energy (maybe they’re aging backwards 😊)

    Buying a lot of air.

The container was only 1/3 full. I paid a lot for air too. Not very happy about this. I have been using a half a scoop every other day and one cats dandruff is almost completely gone and her fur is softer. My other cat hardly pukes now. She use the puke almost every time after she ate. This stuff works just wish there was more in the container or the price was less.

Good Nutrition if Cat will Eat It

Very small amount of product in this jar. My three cats would not eat it, even a small amount in their food. I will experiment with my senior cat to see if he will get used to it.Update: I started giving 1/8th teaspoon in his favorite “squeeze-up” treat 3 times a day and he is eating it, Yay!
