Useful to have, but lower your expectations
I’m glad I ordered this. It cleans most messes quickly. It saves me from bending over and experiencing back pain (in contrast to when I use my handheld dustpan). Examples of messes this cleans well- spilled cereal, animal fur, cut up cardboard scraps, or toilet paper pieces. My 7 year old loves pushing this around when it’s time to do chores, so I recommend this to ‘Montessori parents,’ in search of a durable alternative of a fake toy vacuum.Keep in mind that this isn’t great for deep cleaning, only “surface cleaning.” It won’t replace a vacuum. Dander, dust, etc will still exist.Cons: Cleaning the fur out of the bristles is a pain, and the wheels are squeaky.Conclusion: For the price, I’m satisfied. And my kid is too.

Great little pick up sweeper
I am really pleased with this sweeper. Perhaps rating asked wrong questions. This is not electric and does not have suction power, however it does a great job picking up loose particles. I do not consider it as deep cleaning. It is great, but because of the wording of the questions, I couldn’t give it a 5 star; however it is a 5 star for what I purchase it for. Works on hardwood and rugs.

This is NOT FOR FLOORS — carpet or rugs only
This item is ONLY for carpets or rugs, like they used to have years ago at restaurants with carpeted flooring. Will not get any dirt up near the wall nor shredded paper & such when using on the rugs. Description of it being a FLOOR cleaner is inaccurate. It should be labeled as a Carpet/Rug sweeper only. Make sure to keep the box to return it!

My 80 year old mother got this and it’s easier for her to push that a plug-in vacuum cleaner and she really likes it. She said it cleans really well and she said it was worth the money.

I just bought a 2nd one…
I just picked this up a couple weeks ago and am VERY pleased. I have come to the conclusion that new “high powered” vacuums can have all the suction they want but unless there is a solid brush roll they are not a good vacuum. This brush roll is great for low pile….useless on hardwood/bare….so if that is your intent…don’t get it….Handle is a little low but I had an extension pole from some other random thing I purchased….worked great to heighten…..This thing makes me smile and yes I decked it out with Google eyes and they make me smile every day when I use it so I don’t feel like I’m doing a chore….It’s easy to empty and was quite easy to assemble. It came promptly. Included image of brush roll and they are dirty….yes I use it”)

Amazing
These types of sweepers are so good to just use daily on your carpet and just vacuum like once a week. It’s also fantastic on wood floors. I use a cane, so this makes it so much easier to keep my floor clean and it does amazing job at even picking up little pieces of things on hardwood floors. I had a sweeper before with one brush in the middle underneath and this model that has the three brushes is amazing. I love this product!

TOP NOTCH quality and efficacy
It picks up litter, tiny leaves, fur, soil, crumbs and more from my laminate flooring, rugs, and carpeted areas equally well and quickly. Well made, lightweight, easy to use, not too loud, doesn’t freak my cats out, doesn’t require electricity, and is easy to empty and clean. I LOVE this new cleaning tool–actually two tools, one for the patio and one for indoors.

Picks up more than I thought!
Arrived today so I put it to work. Right out of the box, I could tell the handle is a bit on the short side. This was anticipated from previous reviews. It was easy assembly. Handle came together in 4 threaded pieces. I used the sweeper on low-pile rug, wood floor and vinyl floor. Lots of back and forth movement to pick up debris. This was expected as it is free of a power cord and very quiet. At this point I wonder if I could make longer sweeps with a slightly longer handle (6″?) The base is roughly 10″ wide so I passed through furniture easily. The arm connecting the base to the handle allows it to collapse down to go under furniture.When it came time to empty, (I think when it’s full, it started to spit things out) I flipped it over, pressed the two designated panels and Wow! It pulled up a lot more than I saw on the floors. It had picked up the larger debris (crumbs, plant leaves etc) as well as fine dirt and even cat hair. Emptying was easy and the handle stays upright to store. I didn’t need the cleaning tool for the bristles this time but I can see how it will come in handy in the future.I would rate 5 stars if the handle were longer.

Doesn’t do much for a tile floor.
It says carpet /floor but it doesn’t pick up much on a tile floor. Some but it’s def not what I was hoping for sadly. I’ll keep it for our area rug but that’s about all it’s good for.

Works well, good for kids who want to vacuum
Works pretty well. Also, sounds weird, but makes a good gift for young kids that also like participating with cleaning activities and/or want to use the vacuum for fun. You can remove one of the three poles that screw together to make the pole handle short enough for a 5 year old. My nephew loves this thing! And it doesn’t make any noise.

I can never get the kids to vacuum, but they definitely love using this in their room. It picks up most light debris with ease. It was great picking up Christmas tree fallings with out clogging my Dyson. Definitely recommend

Assembly a bit tricky but…
…that’s probably because the parts that screw together are painted. Goes together will with a bit of fiddling. The appliance works well on carpeting. As for hard floors I give it a so-so rating. It will pick up but after many passes. It is very lightweight and small, which is good for storing in a small apartment closet.

I work for a retail pharmacy. I purchased two of these. Inwas tired of lugging around the vacuum and people claiming they “almost tripped” over the cord. Now instead of it being a huge production, we can just run through spot sweep and be done. I have also worked in restaurants that used “The number 1 brand” and they are crap in comparison! I will end up ordering 2 more for home. Just havent had time yet.

Seems Good
I haven’t had a chance to use it very much, but I’m glad I bought it. It’s lightweight and easy to assemble. Years ago I paid much more money for a similar carpet sweeper made by a prominent brand. So, I think this will do the job for me. One star off because I haven’t used it too much, and don’t know yet if it deserves five stars.

Don’t let it’s light weight fool you
I would have given this a 5-star IF handle rods had some sort of assembly sequence order printed on on each piece. Stickers on or embossing into metal of the rod…🙄It was trial and error, but I got it properly assembled.I initially discounted its ability to pick up debris from its light weight. I was used to a more heavier device from a more popular brand. The heavier system used in the past required more physical effort to push and pull the device.I tested this new system on commercial grade low pile Berber carpet and was surprised with how much debris it was able to capture. Hair was easy to capture. This new system was able to also capture lots of the fine dust that also clogs the home HVAC filters. Love it!Use the cleaning comb to comb out captured hair in the main brush. Use the U-shaped cut out section of the comb, by pressing down onto the rods of the smaller brushes and slide the comb side to side. This will loosen captured debris for a more thorough cleaning.

Works on Hardwood w/ Slight Adjustment…
We have 2 indoor bunnies, and I got this to quickly sweep up dropped hay on our hardwood floors after each feeding. As is, the sweeper just pushed the hay back and forth, and we were so disappointed. I did lots of research before getting this sweeper and it was the only one I had found with any reviews mentioning hay on hardwoods or rabbits. I ended up taking the front brush off (there is a fixed brush on each side as well as the rolling brush in the middle), and like magic, it now picks up the hay instead of just pushing it around!

This is exactly what I needed for flotsam and jetsam (popcorn) etc. It works, and is easy to use! Beware though if you have long hair in your home like mine, and my son’s gf! You will be using little scissors to clean it almost every time you use it! That horsehair really picks up the hair! Otherwise it does exactly what it says it does, and I like it a lot! 🙂

Ease of Cleaning
I wanted this product for the entryway carpet at the restaurant in which I work. It is good but could be a little better. It doesn’t pick up sand as well as other debris. The restaurant is near the Oceanside so, customers sometimes come in after they’ve been to the beach. Needless sand ends up on the carpet.

INCREDIBLE !!!
Just got this today and immediately used it. I just HAD to review it ASAP ! I had an electric, rechargeable sweeper from Bissel that recently died on me so I needed to find something to replace it. Since the battery stopped working on my old sweeper, I decided to try a manual one. I have 2 cats and a pretty thick carpet that needs a quick cleanup between vacuumings. I was amazed at how much MORE I picked up than with the old sweeper !!! It got pretty clogged after awhile (hadn’t swept the carpet for awhile), it was very easy to empty, but time consuming to clean the brushes, so am rating this a 4, but it’s worth the effort ! I ended up making 3 passes cause it’s small, and picked up almost as much as my vacuum does ! All in all I’m VERY pleased with this and so are my cats who have a cleaner carpet to lounge around on !

If you have long hair and pets… get ready to clean this every use.
This carpet sweeper was incredibly easy to put together and figure out without any manual booklet. It takes a little less effort than real sweeping to go about in cleaning. I’m 5′ and this sweeper is a comfortable size to work with. It did surprise me in the bits that it managed to pick up, it really did do a great cleaning job. If treated respectfully, it is a very durable product and will last a long time.Only cons I would list are – it’s not meant for heavy duty cleaning, more like light daily touch up cleaning after the major cleaning day. Also, the smaller rollers, I wish you could remove those to make cleaning them a lot more manageable.I got this in hopes of an alternative to a vacuum, as my cat and I have long hair and I don’t want to break the regular vacuum. Having a cleaner that could sweep regular so there wasn’t a build up of hair was also the goal. Unfortunately after testing it on about 10ft of carpet (without previously vacuuming.. so it was carpet in need of decent cleaning) the small rollers got easily clogged with hair and fur.What’s more is that to remove the hair from the rollers I had to get a box cutter and spend a lot of time removing it. The time could have been reduced if I could have figured a way to remove the rollers to remove the hair quicker.I’m not too put out with that… hazards of long hair clean up is a norm for me now regardless. Being able to clean silently as well was a huge bonus. I am happy with this purchase overall but I can see the need to get creative in maintaining the quality of the product so it can remain useful in cleaning.

I love this sweeper!
I love this sweeper because it’s lightweight, easy to put together, and actually works. I looked at several sweepers online trying to decide and finally decided upon this one. It works great on regular carpet in my home and from what I can tell, it picks up forward and backward. It picks up and a little bit on the hardwood but best on carpet. I noticed on hardwood, it would spit out a couple of pieces that were picked up on the hardwood. I inserted pics of the dustpan and its opening beachside everyone is showing you the other parts but not the bottom side. It has 2 little doors near each brush and you just pop open the door and empty into the trash. It picks up very well! You see the gray hairs around the brushes….that’s from a cute little rug I have. I did take my fingers and pull those gray hairs out so it wouldn’t get too bad and affect the effectiveness of the sweeper and didn’t have to use the little comb thing it came with. This comes in handy because I have a toddler and I’m constantly cleaning. Get it.

great quick sweeper
Nice replacement to my old Fuller sweeper. These were long ago in restaurants and hotels. Were called something like “hokey”. Maybe a brand name.

Great little sweeper.
I was very surprised on how well built this product is for the price. The handle is remarkable heavy , the first thing that came to my mind when i pulled the handle out ,i thought that this can be used as a self defense tool. But overall nice sweeper. Cleans well on flat level surfaces .

Works well for the price
Bought this to keep the cat litter up on the carpet by the pans. Assembly – easy enough but had problems with the handles screwing together. One kept cross threading. I switched them around till they all fit together. Cleaning it is okay if a bit messy for first time. One of the trap doors didnt want to open. Works a bit easier now that I opened and closed it a few times to get the stiffness out of it. Picks up the cat litter on med plush carpet well. Beats having to pull out regular vac all the time for a 6×10 rug.

Pretty heavy
I don’t know what was i expecting but i had something called hurricane spin broom couple years back and it got broke .it was too light and was very easy to manage.I decided to buy something more durable and got this one . It seems good quality but it is too heavy to use for me . i have carpal tunnel syndrome and it hurts when i use it. I will keep it because I bought this for sweeping breakfast area and it does the job. It works good on carpet even i have hand made wool carpet which sheds a lot.

SOLID!!!!!
Born in 1960, electric vacuums were around. But, this type of rug / carpet cleaning was far more prevalent. And carpets/ rugs weren’t what they are now. I always marveled at these as a kid. They made a happy noise compared to the beasts that were early vacuums. CERTAINLY less complicated. People smiled when they used them. Now I finally have one, at the tender age of 62-1/2 and I looooooooooove it. This particular brand / model is solid. Completely metal, very sturdy, handle. And I specifically chose this particular model / brand / variety due to the horse hair brush. I’m very pleased. I’ve had it a couple weeks and finally assembled it for use immediately. I am ever so pleased. I think I’m going to get an apron. The women folk in my family from my youth would be very pleased. Excellent quality. Elegant and efficient design. All around top drawer. Excellent use of cleaning budget. I still have an electric vacuum. But this is brilliant for between vacuumings.

This is amazing, I have three! They are so versatile and simple. Two of them I took out one the three metal pieces to make it child sized so my kids help clean easily. They are beautiful and sleek, and hold up to lots of use!

Pretty impressed!
I had been looking for a lightweight, non-electric carpet sweeper for those quick pick ups. I read a few reviews ( which I don’t normally do) and chose this one! I’m so glad I did! I had it put together in about five minutes (most of that time was piecing together the handle) and was then ready to take it for a spin. It picked up really well on my carpets and rugs and I ended up doing the whole house! It did pick up on my bare floor, but not quite as well as my carpet and rugs. Emptying is a piece of cake! I was impressed with how much cat hair it picked up. For the price, I am very happy with this product and purchase. Thanks for reading my first review!
