This is one of the best yard tools
This is the best yard tool I’ve ever owned. It gets in the small places that a big rake can’t clean out property. Just wish I had known about this sooner.

Love it
I purchased this in hopes of clearing the leaves under my rose bushes. I expected it to be much smaller but I’m glad it’s not. It’s about the length of an average hammer. Works great! 10/10 would buy again.

I use this tool a lot
I like this tool a lot. However, something started rattling around inside the handle, but it still seems okay at the moment… Not sure about the long-term durability, we’ll see…

Great for detailed raking
We have lots of pine trees. I like to rake a small area of lawn at a time as I pull weeds and remove acorns and pine Bark from one area of grass. This rake serves that purpose.

great weeder and small-space digger
I have been using this all the time since I got it. It’s the Abrams Tank of dandelion removal, but it’s also good any other time you need to dig straight down deep in a narrow space. I only give it a four because there is something rattling around in the handle, and that makes me a bit nervous about durability. That said, if it craps out I will probably get another to replace it!

Cleans out the leaves under my compressor
I purchased this for that purpose. I have a townhome, with a large air conditioner compressor next to the house in my back patio. This allows me to get in behind and around the compressor and get out those peasky leaves that accumulate each fall. The product is solid and durable, and the bottom of my compressor is mostly free of leaves. I do recommend this handy small rake.

One of my favorite weeding tools!
This tool is a lot bigger than I had expected, but it works well. In this photo, you can see it pictured next to my pruners. I’m an estate gardener for a landscaping company and I like this product because it is sturdy, but it’s dull enough that it is less likely to cut the roots of a weed than my Fiskar’s Hori Hori. I use the Hori Hori when I am working around cultivated plants that send out runners all over the place. In that situation, I want to pull up the runners until they are getting close to the plant and then cut them and the little gut hook thing on the Hori Hori works great for that. The Xact Weeder is what I use for most of my other weeding needs since it tends to get things up by the roots without cutting the roots. By the way, let me just emphasize that this product is dull and it is NOT a cutting tool! Those serrations on the side are just for looks and they’re duller than a butter knife! It works great for its intended purpose though. Last week, I was pulling the horsetails out of the mulch in the atrium area at a school and all of my coworkers had given up pulling them up by the roots and were just pulling the tops of with their hands, but with this product, I could loosen up the soil enough to get at least most of the roots from each one. It will be interesting to see how many come back where I weeded compared to where they weeded. Anyway, I highly recommend this tool. Also, if you want a holster for it, this one works well, even though it is meant for a chef’s knife. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B087BBHS2L?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 I wear it behind my other tools because it is really long and would probably hit my elbow on it a lot if it was farther forward. I kind of wish it had a shorter handle and came with a good sheath, but it’s a great piece of equipment just the same.

Good hand rake
Years ago, I bought a hand rake, and it’s always been my favorite. Since then, I’ve bought several more different varieties and they never felt as good to me. This one, however, seems very similar, so I’m happy with it. Having said that, I think it’s also fair to say that the other rakes did the job, too, but I just didn’t like them as much.

More like a handheld dethatcher
I purchased a big mechanical dethatcher last fall as my yard was full of thatch/dead grass When spring came, … It still had small areas of thatch, but I didn’t want to use the big dethatcher as it tends to pull up a lot of the ST Augustine runners. This dethatched the spots PERFECTLY. I would think of it as a hand held dethatcher and not a garden hand trowel .

Great for weeds!
It’s funny how great this works being as simple as it is. I have some tools that claim to make weed pulling easier. Truth is they rip the stem of the plant, but not the roots. This is very simple enough that you can jam it down low, use leverage to kind of dig up the weed and bam its done. This works on both moist or dry dirt.

Just exactly what I needed!
In the horrible clay soil of my yard, the weedy grasses and other weeds (I am talking about you, impossible oxalis!) are difficult to pull up. Mowing or string trimming seems to give them a greater will to re-grow and thrive. Instead, I have been weeding by hand using a trowel. This weeder is superior to the trowel because it is thinner and longer. The heft of it is great and the handle fits comfortably in my gloved hand. Today I weeded a small corner of the front yard around a planting of irises. I could pull up the grass and oxalis that was closely growing around the corms without damaging the plants. Very pleased! The orange Fiskar handles stand out in the garden so I don’t lose track of my tools. Fiskars product guarantee is great! I have used the replacement warranty for a pair of pruners when the handle broke.

This has been the best tool to remove thistle weeds hands down! If the ground is loose enough or damp from watering/rain, it helps tremendously to get most or all of the root out. Would buy again!

Perfect for the task at hand
I saw comments about the angle of the tines and the strength of the tines and decided to buy this anyhow.Good decision! It’s easy to grip and works well getting fallen leaves around plants and behind random things adorning the garden. I wouldn’t use this to rake an acre of pine needles after a rain, but it seems more than well suited to what I need, which I why I just bought another one 🙂

Great except for handle rattle
This is a great tool since it is the perfect length and shape to insert easily into the earth to pop those stubborn weeds out, and the handle is comfortable. The only problem is the handle started to rattle/feel loose after the second use. Other reviewers have detailed how to bang it on its end to fix it, but you shouldn’t have to do that with a new tool.

Good
At first I thought it would bend and not as good. To be practical it’s standing up to the test, granted it’s not cast-iron and won’t behave that way meaning very hard and strong and may give a bit at times. The flip side of it is that it won’t break like cast iron. It also says that it comes with Lifetime Warranty. I’ve already put it to test in gardening and digging holes, I’d recommend it.

It met all of my expectations!
I was looking for a hand rake to use to clean around the bushes next to the house. I don’t mind getting down on my hands and knees to use it. It’s very sturdy and is small enough to work well in the tight spaces and pull as much leaves and debris as possible away from the plants. For “nook & cranny” cleaning, it worked well for me. Quite sturdy. I would definitely buy again or recommend it to others.

Works Great, But Part Inside Handle Can Com eLoose
Actually I liked everything about the tool except for the fact that a part inside the handle can come loose. If you tap the end of the tool on a hard surface it will come loose, and if you do the same with the other end then the part will reattach itself somehow. It was definitely annoying at first, but the problem is easy to fix.

Like others have mentioned, there is a weird rattling noise but nothing about the function seems compromised. I like the orange as it makes it easier to notice I’ve forgotten it lying somewhere. Functions well and is low profile enough to get into smaller spaces, too.

This year’s best garden tool purchase!
I was a little hesitant to buy this rake because of the price – how sturdy can it be? Turns out it is perfect for getting leaves away from the base of small shrubs! It is larger than I expected and well constructed. My spring cleanup chores were made quicker and easier with this tool. Give it a try!

Awesome tool for the garden
This works really great when you’re trying to remove leaves from beds, especially the oak leaves that get matted down and create that dense, slick layer. This helps me draw the leaves away but leaves the plants I want to leave behind in better shape than me pawing through it all with my hands. Love hand rakes!

High quality stainless specialty tool for weeding and sprinkler maintenance
This tool excels at weeding because of the rigid stainless blade and long handle for leverage. I’ll cover sprinkler maintenanceWeeds like dandilion roots and overgrowth tend to collect around sprinklers causing sprinklers to skew and tilt. This tool is a great maintenance tool because it’s long and narrow for carving out deep channels around the sprinkler with minimal soil removal. Cut out a 1 inch “moat” around the sprinkler by removing earth and roots , and re-align. If the piping is damaged, you can cut out the damaged section and replace with a threaded piece. Then re-align the sprinkler and restore the soil. The tool minimizes the amount of sod and soil damaged during maintenance .Watch out for brown spots which indicate mis-aligned sprinklers . then use this tool for the alignment maintenance.

Very stout.
This is not sharp at all. Great for my use case: finding and inspecting buried fiber optic cables. Plenty strong enough for additional prying, etc. job-related tasks. It doesn’t fit well in any off-the-shelf tool pouches though. A large knife sheath might do the job.

Very sturdy
This cultivator is very sturdy and feels like it will last a long time. I am using it to drag rocks away from hard soil for gold prospecting. These three tongs will NOT bend. The head is securely fastened to the handle. I don’t think the stainless head runs down the entire length of the handle, but I don’t think it needs to: it is sturdy!I love this tool and highly recommend it.

Multiuse Tool
Since I live in an apartment and have no use for gardening tools, I use this tool to retrieve items from the bottom of my huge top-loading laundry tub after the spin cycle. I am a small elderly woman and even standing on a stool doesn’t solve the problem. The tines are strong and not too sharp so my items don’t get damaged.
