Solid feeling and easy to use and clean
The metal telescopic handle works smoothly and feels well made. The fluffy end picks up the dust and spiders webs, which I then remove the majority with a sheet of kitchen paper and then wash the rest off. Works really well

Quite a useful product, should last quite long
Ordered this feather duster as my last one had aged quite a bit, couldn’t be happier.The extendable function is very convenient when it comes to reaching far away places like the ceiling or top shelves – can extend to around 1 and a half metres.The duster itself is quite great too – picks up dust effectively and is not hard to clean.Some care may be required with the rod however – while it is quite sturdy, I would not recommend using it too loosely.Overall quite a useful product.

Sturdy at full extension
Needed this to get the cobwebs off the high ceiling on the stairs. The extension is perfect and felt strong enough to exert pressure getting into the corners. Very happy with this and would recommend.

Awkward to use
Would have been great as it extends right to top of stairwell ceiling BUT non of the extension points has even a friction “lock off” so the duster end keeps rotating which made it awkward. Bit of design improvement would have made this a lot more user friendly.

Update on 01st August 2023————————————Three years later, I am still using the feather duster. I was mistaken about its durability.Yes, I am a bit careful when I use it fully extended and all what I wrote about it still stands but the fact remains that it is stronger than it looks and I am happy to admit I was wrong. It also deserves it price. I use it a lot.I am now giving 4 stars instead of 3.Original review:I like the concept of it but it definitely needs to be improved.The pros:1) It extends far! This is a plus. My landing has a very high ceiling and I would need a stepladder to get rid of dust and old, random cobwebs while moving the ladder along. I am 5”1 on tip toes but today, I dusted clean the wall, ceiling and corners.It is also perfect to clean my son’s ceiling hoist.2) At its normal length , it is ok. Not great. Extended just under half way, it is also quite stable. Not totally but it will do.3) Easy to clean as you go along. I keep a plastic bag next to me and simply shake or rub the head inside. All the dust fall into the plastic bag. To be more eco friendly, you could use a reusable cloth bag but I am getting rid of all these unwanted plastic bags accumulated over the years.The cons:1) When fully extended, it is very weak and wobbly. I would advise to be very gentle. The handle consist of a several small telescopic tubes that you pull out to get to the desired length. When you want it to its full length, the last 3 or 4 tubes are extremely thin hence making the duster head heavy.2) The “little” plastic cap on top is too big, so it does scratch the wall which deflects the purpose. What I did was to stick double tape around it and stick some of the microfibres on it. Maybe the next time I will try slipping a microfibre glove over the duster and keep it in place with an elastic band. Less than ideal but it might work.3) Misdescription – the head doesn’t bend when extended and don’t try to force. You’ll break it! Trust me on this.4) be careful with narrow places like back of radiators. If you try to force it to go down between the wall and radiator and it gets stuck, the head will break from the handle and you will only get the handle back up.4) As mentioned before, I doubt my new duster and I are in for the long run. It is too flimsy.5) To finish, the microfibre is not of best quality and a bit sparse, to be honest. I have a Vileda one (not extendable) and the head is very fluffy.Would I recommend it? NOI think it might be worth to go for a more reliable brand, even if more expensive. In my opinion, this one is overpriced because of all the reasons above and moreover, because it is so flimsy. Knock off £4 at least to make it £4.99 and it would be a fairer price.I gave it 3 stars but ONLY because I dusted everywhere I couldn’t for years so I am grateful for this. And for the concept.The design is 2 stars. The quality? For the price, only 1. Had I seen it in a shop, I wouldn’t have bought it, not at £8.99. No way. Not worth that price.

Great for tall ceilings and hard to reach places
Received this today and couldn’t help but have a little tester with it. I’m on the shorter side so struggle with higher to reach places and live in a home with tall ceilings I’ve never quite been able to reach properly. This duster is tall enough to reach all the areas I’ve missed and have never cleaned, it’s almost as tall as the room itself and is definitely a must have for those struggling to reach. The downside is that it does lose some of the red fibres but time will tell how long the duster will last if it is used continuously. I haven’t yet washed it so will see how that comes out in the wash.

No more cobwebs
I hate clearing ceiling cobwebs, either whipping a duster about or wrangling the vacuum is simply too much effort. This is much better and extends a LONG way. I bought two because I’m too lazy to carry one up and down stairs. I suppose my laziness might explain all the cobwebs……

Great pole length. Annoying plastic tip.
Whilst the pole is a great length the plastic tip on the top is so annoying and stops you from dusting properly. To combat this I attached a microfibre cloth with an elastic band to the top to soften it and then I was able to use it very well. Would be nice to have the option to purchase a spare head.

The top end has a plastic knob on it so when cleaning high areas you have to try and use it sideways which is a pain as it can’t be adjustedIt’s a good product but not being able to use the top end can be a pain

As a short person I love this
So I’m 5ft 2 at a push and live in a high ceiling Victorian style house, which means I can reach nothing, especially not the corner top of the stairwell. Well not anymore, this thing does it with ease and I don’t have to stretch or get the ladder out. No more pesky spiders staring at me from the corner mocking my vertical challenges. Cobwebs be gone.

The plastic tip of the duster will scratch and damage the wall/ceiling (if it reaches!)
This is not only cheap but dangerous too. The tip of the duster scratches and damages the wall. It does not extend as well as the picture shows either or that I have received a damaged unit. I have not used it. I have only taken it out of the box, and fixed it, and then I noted the thing at the tip. I don’t think it is durable but I cannot comment on it. The green fibre is not of good quality either. It is already pulled in several places without even using it. I strongly suggest that no one buys any of these mops that have a thing sticking out at the tip. it will damage the wall.

I bought this as I’ve got an awful lot of spider webs and o needed to remove them the handle extends quite a lot and I’m 5’5″ in height and I could reach my ceiling without over reaching myself. I can tell you that it works very well and would recommend this feather duster to anyone

Weird texture duster
This duster has a really sturdy extendable handle which is great however, the duster end is useless. It’s a strange material with a spike on the end which scratches things as you dust.
