Great for the price
I got it on discount so I paid a fraction of the cost. It does seem to cook hotter than it should. I have yet to find a slow cooker that actually cooks low. This one is the closest as far as temperature goes. Also the size is perfect for my family of 5. Overall I give it a thumbs up

Perfect Upgrade, Doesn’t Beep
After almost 15 years we had to replace our previous Crockpot. We really liked the old one so it was hard giving it up. Switching to this one was about as simple as you would expect.I love the digital read out and the versatility.It seems like every appliance we buy makes a noise when it is done (coffee maker, dishwasher, dryer, etc.). I was actually relieved that this does NOT beep when it is switching to warm.

Be mindful it’s fast!!
Bought this to reppace a very old dying crock pot. Wanted the actual brand and wanted a bigger one. Honestly didn’t realize how big this monster really was! That said the digital programming and such is fantastic but be careful- this thing is VERY efficient and the time it may have taken another one to cook a roast or whatever is NOT what this will do- its FAST but fast for a slow cooker if that makes sense. The food comes out as you would expect not dry but juicy and flavorful.

Nice slow cooker
I noticed that it appears to have more heat on the left side of the pot but it cooks as designed, so far so good. It is a heavy ceramic pot not for the elders.

I love it but it cracked
I love this crockpot, however please note that you’ll need a ceramic stovetop cleaner and a lot of elbow grease to get it clean. Also, I never mishandled or dropped the bowl, but after 3 years of use, I noticed a hairline crack that went from one side to the other. This crack went through to the bottom and sure enough, I started to see that it leaked a little while cooking. I can’t say for certain if the crack was there from the beginning and was made during shipping as it was so thin. It could have been there and just got a bit worse over time. In any event, I am re-purchasing another and hoping that this doesn’t happen again.

I appreciate this Crock-Pot for its simplicity; while it may not offer a plethora of options, it excels at fulfilling its intended purpose. With a capacity to hold around 12 to 15 pounds, it proves quite spacious, making it ideal for cooking large meals or facilitating meal prep for the entire workweek. Having owned it for almost a year, I am pleased to report no signs of rust, scratches, or any other issues, and it remains remarkably easy to clean. My only desire is for the addition of clips at the top to secure and pressure-close the lid.

Perfect slow cooker!
This is my second slow cooker. The first one “disappeared” at a company pot luck lunch. This one is better. I love the big size. I like to make a big batch and do meal prep for the week. If you are on the fence about the size I would get the 8 QT wven if you live alone. You will appreciate the extra room. I am making a Keto friendly Mississippi Roast now and my house smells fantastic.3 LB chuck roastI packet Au Jus1 packet ranch1 16 oz jar of pepperoncini.1 stick butterSet crockpot to low. Put in chuck roast. Sprinkle the ranch packet and then aus jus packet over Chuck roast. Pour in half the jar of peppercini peppers and half the brine. Put the stick of butter on top. Set timer for 8 hours. Thats it. Its so simple and delicious.I recommend this crock pot. 2 thumbs up! I like it better than an insta pot. With the insta pot its too much paying attention to it. With this you just set it and walk away. I love that it kicks into warm when the timer is done. That is a great feature.

Crockpot is being a crockpot
So I got this because my mother in law crockpot was too small to feed everyone out of. I decided to buy good condition from Amazon that was an amazing save of almost half. Being that I’m on a budget that saved money for other things. Now I have made my first meal in. The outside does get hot as stated but so does my old one so that didn’t bother me. The food cooked faster than it did in my older one. The timer did switch over to warm as it stated which is what I needed I cooked Mexican salsa chicken (A dump meal) while I took kids to library food was cooked and fork tender. I used breast and if you know you know you can’t blink and cook breast at the same time. It quickly goes dry this chicken was so juicy my wife and mother law wanted it two days in a row. Was worth it im going to update in a month if the crockpot is still working properly

Nice product
Nice size, easy to clean, cooks as it should. I like the white crock, didn’t think I would. love custom timer but which it could start at a specific time. If you want that it’s a step up in price. The lid clamps are nice for traveling. Wish it came with a travel bag. Cord is quite short but I believe that is somewhat standard. Used often and have no complaints.

Works well but caution……
Just for clarification, I’m not rating this particular product, just a caution to buyers about all crock pots in general. I bought this in November 2022 so I’ve only had it a little over a year. I love cooking in a crock pot and am not partial to any one particular brand as I’ve had several different brands over the years. I just love the ease of putting the ingredients in and having it ready when I get home in the evening. And until now, I was never concerned with leaving a crock pot unattended. But I cooked a roast two days ago, as I normally do, put the roast in mid morning, cooked on high for a few hours then reduced temp to low to continue cooking. Thankfully this was on Sunday so I was home most of the day. I also use the crock pot liner bags because they make cleanup so much easier but this time I noticed the liner had failed and the juices had leaked through and baked on the crock during the cooking process. While cleaning the countertops, I noticed a puddle of grease underneath the crock pot. Upon inspection, I realized that the crock liner itself had a crack along the side and during cooking, the grease and juices had seeped through onto the bottom of the crock base and out the two drain holes, which I never even realized were there since I never imagined food making through the crock liner the bottom of the cooker. I have granite tops, which are sturdy but still porous, so I now have a large grease stain on my countertop. I’m hoping to find a product that will pull the grease out but I’m not hopeful. As I stated, I always use the crock pot liner bags so I couldn’t say if the crack was in the crock pot when I got it or if it happened at some point while I’ve had it. Nevertheless, my advice is to inspect your crock pot when you get it and periodically over time to make sure of no cracks to avoid a mess like mine.

Looking for an 8 qt Crock Pot? This is it
I have been searching for a larger Crock Pot than the 6 QT I have used for years.While researching the different options for an 8 QT Crock Pot, I came across this model.What drew me in was reading about the ease of setting the crock pot up for use with the countdown timer. I had looked at the clip-down lid version. My concern was the plastic assembly and knowing my ways, I could see needing replacements on hand. With that, I stayed with the regular model.I tested this with the family New Year’s Day Pork and Saurkraut meal. With the additional size, I was able to add more meat along with more sauerkraut. Typically, this would have topped my 6 QT as it has in prior years, with juice overflowing when trying to make a sufficient amount for the meal.On New Year’s Day, a Reynold’s Wrap Crock Pot Bag was used, which fits nicely in the 8 QT crock pot. Then, set the temperature to low and enter eight (8) hours in the count-down timer. I had plenty of room between the additional ingredients and the lid. No juice overflow and I could freeze leftovers for later in the year, which is great because when my mom wants more, I have it on hand in the freezer.Also, being able to glance at the timer, I was better organized for adding and preparing the additional dishes. When the timer hit the time allotted for cooking, it went to the Warm setting.I thoroughly enjoyed using The Crock Pot, 8 QT crock pot. This is one to have if larger meals are on your ticket.

Looks great cool book was missing
I ordered this bigger crockpot to make more meals for meal prepping and get togethers my older one is just not big enough to get it done receivers it to day and it was in great shape no issues with that haven’t used it yet but did plug it in to make sure it functions properly it does my only gripe was it did not come with the cook book as stated in description I kinda wanted it I bought new instead of the used for cheeper purely to insure o got the book so it gets 4 star’s customers service was no help only suggestion was return it for refund 👎

Love this slow cooker! It is so convenient on nights when the kids have practice to throw dinner together in the morning and have it ready and warming when they get home from school. Nice large cooker but food sticks/burns if not watched
I like the large size and that is the reason I bought it. I finally had a chance to use it yesterday and was a little disappointed that my food started sticking after a few hours on high. I made the mistake of scraping it into the rest of the food and saw burnt pieces. After that I didn’t scrape anymore and just lost a little of the food. I soaked it overnight and still had to scrub and scrape to get the burnt stuff off. It was just one area. So, I suspect the heating elements are at fault in that area. I’ll still use it, of course. But I’ll stir earlier and keep watching it so it doesn’t happen.

I really wanted to love it
I really wanted to love this crockpot. Unfortunately the first thing I did not like was anything I cooked burned around the edge EVERYTIME. I usually just scrapped it off and went on with dinner, if I didn’t take it out it went in the food. I have had this crockpot for a year and a half and it is now done. While it still heats the timer no longer works and has been going out for some time now. Maybe I got a faulty one not sure but I wish it would have been better.
