I bought the Ruby Red in Small. I am 5ft 3 , 116 lbs and the small fits me perfect. I wore it over a top and cardigan and there was still some room. I guess I can comfortably wear it over a thick sweater as well.Ruby red looks beautiful – same as in pic. And works well for light rain/windy days.

Love! But order your usual size!!
For reference, I’m 5’1” and weigh 200lbs. 1x is usually perfect for me, but I like to get a size 20-22 in winter jackets/coats to allow room for a hoodie and bibs underneath.I reluctantly ordered a 3x after reading reviews that suggested to size up, especially if you wanted extra room.It was VERY large on me. Sizing up is NOT necessary in my opinion.Along with more sizing resources & reviews, size charts for each individual item on Columbia’s website seem to be much more accurate. I recommend checking that out before ordering if you’re unsure of your size.Reordering the 2x and hoping for a better fit!

Perfect spring jacket
This jacket is exactly what I expected! The colour and fit matches the photos, and it is very good quality. It is a very light jacket (shell) so it is perfect for spring time! I am planning on buying more of these jackets in different colours! Would definitely recommend.

La pedi Large (grande) debido a que la pretendo utilizar como capa externa para abrigos de frío, pero está perfecta. Quien sabe un poquito más grande de lo que esperé, pero me parece bien.Ya tenía una capa de lluvia columbia, pero esa no tenia la facilidad de omnitech para evaporar calor y era medium, por lo que al sobreponerla al abrigo quedaba apretada, lo cual ya no ocurre con la Large

Love these jackets!
I have three of these Columbia jackets now, all ordered from Amazon. They are just the best. Waterproof and breathable, just as described. Very sharp looking. I love the latest colors. I just got the Foxglove color. It is really pretty. It is true that you should size up. My first one was a L and all I could comfortably wear under it was a t-shirt. My new ones are XL and the fit with light sweaters underneath is so much better.

Great jacket!
I really like this jacket. Super light weight. True to size. I do wish the sleeve at the cuff were not so wide. The Velcro barely sticks when I wrap it around.

The mesh lining makes a huge difference.
I previously had an unlined Columbia rain jacket, and I hated the wet, sticky, steamy feeling I got after wearing it for just a few minutes. This jacket has a full mesh lining, which seems to have solved that problem! While I haven’t worn it in a downpour yet, it has done well repelling a few spring showers. The bright Geranium color is pretty and cheerful. I appreciate the zip pockets. Size-wise, I have always found Columbia jackets to run a bit small. I wear a 1X in most things, but I got a 2X in this. It fits comfortably with room to layer underneath. The sleeves are a little long, but that’s a problem I always have. I probably wouldn’t have paid the full sticker price for this, but since I caught it more than 50% off it was a great purchase.

Keeps me dry. It really is breathable. I didn’t get sweaty or have vinyl sticking to me. It does run a little small. Glad I tried it on in a local store first. Been using it for 9 months. Great investment. Worth every penny!

It’s A Raincoat, Not Just A Windbreaker
I own several Columbia products and think they are all a great value.I bought this Arcadia for my wife because she started to borrow Columbia jacket for work. This model has a more tailored fit than the men’s version.I would consider these coats waterproof as the seams don’t leak!The liner provides some warmth and is probably better suited for spring/fall and just a bit too warm for summer wear.

When this jacket comes out of the washer it is dripping wet! The hood and sleeves retain large amounts of water which must be rung out before it can be placed in a low heat dryer. It takes days to get it completely dry to use again as the dryer leaves large pockets of water in the garment.

Nice features and good value
I bought this jacket to replace an old North Face rain jacket with a worn lining and less coverage. Tried out the jacket in a hard rain two days after I got it. Performed well. Kept me dry–I like the velcro wrist tabs which help keep water out. It was also warm enough for the spring Chicago bluster.I wondered whether the jacket would be nipped in at the waist–picture seemed to show it would be, but at least one reviewer said the jacket was “too boxy” for her taste. It is slightly tapered–that is OK with me although I prefer a straight silhouette.I just packed the jacket for a trip. I was able to fit it into the pocket labelled “packable”, but took it out and repacked it flat as it seemed to take up less room in my carry-on.Would have liked to have an inside pocket–my old jacket had one.

I love this jacket! It is very light and the color is gorgeous! DO NOT TAKE THE SIZING COMMENTS LIGHTLY. I typically wear a medium or large tshirt and my other jackets are large. I was going to order a large in this jacket until I read the reviews and decided to order an XL just incase. I am very happy I did! It fits perfectly over a tshirt with plenty of room to move around.

Columbia is not constant in their measurement. I currently have.XL Grey one, and wanted to purchase a brighter color…I ended up having to purchase an 2X!!!! And no, I didn’t gain weight for I still wear the grey one daily.

I’m a 5’7″, 135 Asian woman, but have wider shoulder than most of women with similar height, so I chose size M and very glad I did. It fits great! The jacket is a slim cut shows your waist line, yet still lose enough for me to put another layer when it get cold, perfect! :D(Those who are petite build with smaller shoulder, definitely can go one size smaller. )besides the fit, it is truly a well designed rain jacket, keep you dry, the hood rim is wide enough to prevent raining on your face… I wear glasses, they barely get wet, that’s kind amazing… Haha.So get this if you are looking for a rain jacket, you won’t regret. 🙂

Looks great & does its job
I bought this jacket in the navy blue color, in a size medium. I am 5′ 10″ and 117 lbs and because I’m so tall with long arms i bought a medium. The medium is a great fit for me. I am able to wear it by itself but there is also room for a few layers underneath. it comes down to a perfect length. It does its job and keeps you dry. The arms came down to right after my wrist and have a velcro at the wrist where you can make it tight at the wrist. The jacket also has two zippered hand pockets. The hood has a little visor thing almost to keep the water away from your eyes, but you can’t really tell when you look at the jacket so thats good. The hood also has drawstrings so you can make it tighter. the only possible downside to it is that the hood is not very roomy. But that should not deter you from choosing this jacket. i was debating between this and a few other columbia rain jackets and some other brands. also i bought this online without trying it on in a store. Overall, this jacket has turned out great and exactly what i am looking for. if you are hesitating between this and some other columbia rain jackets, this is for sure a reliable choice.

Columbia Womens Arcadia II Jacket
I really like this jacket! It arrived just yesterday, tried it on and it is exactly what I wanted. Bear in mind I BOUGHT 1 SIZE LARGER TO ACCOMMODATE MY HIPS! It does have a hood that may be adjusted with a slide cord, the wrist has a Velcro strap to adjust the size and inside the hem has another adjustable cord. I actually wore the jacket yesterday. It was pouring outside and I stayed dry! I’m going to Wyoming for some winter fun. I will readjust it and I will be able to layer my clothes to be warm. I would definitely recommend the Columbia Womens Arcadia II Jacket!

This was a good quality jacket. Although it was a plus size, it was not made for a plus size women. It was straight with no curve. Fit in the shoulders and bust, but not the hips.

I got the teal jacket (I think it is called ocean). It is a really nice color. I have only used it in light rain so far and it does a really nice job. I am 5ft 2in and 12 lbs. The jacket is a little long in the torso so I think I will have to tighten it a little in order to keep it from falling. It runs a little big but I ordered that way based on other reviews. I wanted to be able to layer something under it in colder weather. I really like it so far.

perfect for me; Fit caveats
This was perfect for me, very happy with it.But some Input on size that may help others: I got the XS, and it’s just right. (I usually wear xs or small, depending on brand, style, etc.) That said, I live in S. Florida. If I wore a heavy sweater, or multi-layers underneath, it might be too tight.But for walking, errands, etc. in our summer downpours–when it’s 90 outside and I’m just wearing a light top underneath—it’s just right. Breathes better than any others I’ve had; not sticky.

The jacket is very comfortable and well made
I am 5’9″ with 32 chest, 24 waist and the x-small fit perfectly with a little room. If you need to wear several layers then size up.I live in a tropical country and intend to use this when riding in the rain. The jacket is very comfortable and well made. The mesh lining on the inside helps prevent the jacket from sticking to my skin. It’s a bit brighter in person and the ruby red is a beautiful colour.

Just got this in the mail, and I’m so glad I went with the small instead of the medium. It fits very well over a thick sweater… it isn’t a coat, so I really don’t foresee wanting to layer more than that. If you’re planning on wearing a hoodie or several layers, size up. I’m 5’4”, 135lbs, 34B, and wear a 4/6. The small is great with plenty of room to move. The red hibiscus is gorgeous… a nice, bright, faintly pink/coral tinged red. The hood and waist are easily adjusted with the elastic cords. Just got it, so I haven’t had a chance to test the waterproofing. Pics included… sorry for the bathroom selfies. :)Update: Have worn this in several soaking rains… kept me dry! It’s been washed a ton, and still looks as good as new two years later. Make sure to zip it when you wash because the velcro will stick to the liner!
