Almost perfect (for me)
Would I recommend or purchase again?YesThe vest is of good quality and functions as advertised.Well why then only 4 stars? I have one big and one small issue with the item.The small issue: The vest runs on the small side. I normally wear a 2XL but I had to get a 3XL to fit me comfortably. The 2XL would be fine if I had a slim and trim figure. Alas, being in my 60’s I no longer have that body stylefigure, so unless you are in top shape you might want to get one size larger.The large issue: A proprietary battery pack connectionplug. They did make the charging connection your choice of USB-C or the standard USB connector BUT to plug it in, to use it, you are stuck with their and, currently, their battery pack. Realistically I know that this is done to force you to purchase their extrareplacement battery packs.

I am not sure about other negative reviews however battery lasts almost the same time that description states. I used it when I walk around 35 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit and warmed me up quite well.

Runs small
I purchased a 2XL for my 2XL husband and was disappointed that it fits really snug across his chest and belly, even while wearing a typical long-sleeve T-shirt under the vest. He’s a taller, bigger man who typically fits into a 2XL without hesitation. We had to send it back due to the sizing. If you think you may want to wear a sweatshirt or something heavier than a T-shirt under the best or if you want extra room I recommend you size up.

Keeps you warm!

Short term Review
The battery pack lasted for approximately 4 to 5 hours on full power (highest setting)I used it two separate days while riding a motorcycle in temperatures ranging from 15° to 30° in New England. I wore a turtleneck underneath and a windbreaker shell over it, which helped.The battery pack is easy to recharge and doesn’t add significant weight to the jacket. I highly recommend this jacket, it works very well, warms quickly, and is comfortable.

Does the job!
I bought this for my husband for his birthday because he loves to walk outside, and we live in frigid upstate New York. He wore it on the day I gifted it to him, and he came back drenched in sweat! Lesson learned: the vest does its job so well that he doesn’t need to wear as many layers. I bought him the green one because so many of the things we own are grey or black. He loves it!

Stay warm
This vest is excellent; you can put it under a lighter jacket, keeping you nice and warm. The only downside to this vest is due to the battery size. The battery on the right side is heavy, so you feel it. But all in all, it was worth the money.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!
This company has a three year warranty if you order from their website, and a one year warranty if you order through Amazon. The button to turn on my heated vest stopped working just under a year after I purchased it. I contacted CSA Apparel US and they walked me through the process of getting a replacement. I now have two of these vests, and my wife bought one to wear on cold days for her dog walking business. We each have a spare battery, although the battery life is exceptional. I highly recommend this product!

Great Product!
I ordered this for my husband for Christmas. I did order a 2X because that is normally what he wears. When he tried it on it was a bit snug when he zipped it up. I did have to order a new one in a 3X. The return process was easy but I wasn’t able to just exchange it for another size. I had to order a new one and didn’t get it at the sale price that I originally paid for.

BUY ORORO-ONLY!
I’ve had heated from other brands and none compare to Ororo. The vests are perfect for staying warm in cold temps. I even use it indoors on a cold morning. The heating elements in the neck and pockets is awesome, others don’t offer this! The problem with other brands, although sometimes cheaper in price, is poor heating, zero customer support and you cannot find replacement batteries. Ororo is an established brand with outstanding customer service and excellent batteries in performance and longevity compared to other brands. There’s a reason Ororo has thousands of positive reviews vs the others out there. It’s the only brand of heated jackets, vests, gloves, etc.. I’ll purchase. I RARELY leave reviews, but Ororo deserves my positive review.-Get one, you won’t regret!

Great Vest for Winter Golf
I’m a review fanatic when purchasing anything online or otherwise. This vest had over 9,000 reviews and almost All were positive. Purchased it and all I can say is that it is Awesome!!! Great quality. Great looking vest. It is true to size. I wear x-large shirts so I ordered x-large vest.It fits perfectly with just a thermal top underneath, perfect for golfing, no restrictions swinging clubs. It is very warm on high, I set it on medium heat and it lasts me for 18 holes with some power leftover. I highly recommended this vest. I’ve got 5 rounds of golf with it so far. Would definitely buy it again.

Warm at last
This vest is fantastic. It heats the back of your neck, your front side and backside. Very stylish and comfortable. Easy to wear under a jacket. I do recommend ordering an extra battery because you are going to love it. The battery last about 4 to 5 hours on high. My family has several heated vests in this one is my favorite.

It works and is attractive
Husband has cold hands and thought the heated pockets would be useful. He likes the hand heat and that the neck heats. Got the quilted black/white vest and it runs a little big – is not super fitted. Will be using and wasting under other jackets when it’s really cold.

Very nice vest, warm and slim fashionable
I ordered 2 models of heated vests after research and I have decided to keep this one for now. These vests seem to be all chinese made so it was tough to be confident in which brand is good. Ororo had very high user reviews which helped me pick it. It has a couple of reviews on youtube also. Finally, it was one of the few who’s battery is U/L tested and we need that safety considering the issues with chinese batteries lately.First, I am 5’11, 170lbs, 40in chest (athletic). I got MEDIUM. It is a slim fit. I like slim fit so this is ok for me. However it is at the limit of the fit especially in chest. Considering my purpose which is for hunting and worn above base layer and under insulating layer, this is ok. if you want this as outer layer, or more loose, go with the Large.Packaging arrived and it is very professional. well designed and nicely packaged. it has a sense of more premium brand. That was excellent.Vest is really a puffer vest. It is well designed, fashionable, simple with few accents and can easily stand on its own as a vest, with or without heat. The material is decent but not premium. There were a few threads sticking out from stitching but not detrimental to vest integrity. Will see how that holds up after the season trial. inside material is soft. pocket liner is soft. the collar zipped up is form fitting to neck and doesn’t rub on jaw line which is good and that’s what helps the neck heat.Battery is about palm sized and rounded edges, has a rubberized texture and very modern. With all these vests I wish you could interchange with any USB battery but they make them proprietary probably to make more money. The charger is included and everything worked and looked good. Battery has indicator lights to see it charging and power level.As stated, wearing the vest is a slim fit process. Zipper worked fine but i would have appreciated more a YKK zipper. it is a nice warm puffer vest. I turned the power on and it blinks for a while as it warms up into the red zone (HIGH) and then goes to White (MEDIUM). Right away I started to feel the heat in the neck line collar and the back. the hand pocket area took the longest and is probably the weakest zone. As I was indoors with a double thin layer underneath it, this was a lot of heat at HIGH. At Medium it was Warm heat for indoors and at Low it was good heat fro indoors. I went outside in 37F temp and put an insulating layer over it and you can definitely feel the warmth build up at MEDIUM and HIGH. My purpose is Hunting in freezing winter temps so this was a good test. I would wear this over a thin base layer with 2 insulating layers on top. Note this is a slim fit so if you want to wear it as outer layer or have layers underneath, go a size larger than stated. You also may not feel the heat as much. I recommend this vest directly above a base layer for best results. I read some reviews of people complaining of no neck heat or whatever. My model worked perfectly fine and as described on first day. I will be testing this over the next couple of weeks in various elements and will update my review if things change.UPDATE: 11/15/19: after wearing this vest as a Mid layer under a heavy coat for 6 days in a row, I am noticing some fibers now popping out from the material mostly in the chest front area. That’s a poor quality of external material not able to keep fibers controlled. At this rate I would not expect a long durable life especially with washing. I have not washed it yet.UPDATE 10-1-22: I have had this vest now for almost 3 full years. It has held up really well with multiple washes. Yes the outside material has frayed a little as expected with as much use but it is still good and easily wearable externally and looking good. I wear this vest mostly hunting season in freezing and sub-freezing temps. It has performed really well with much needed heat at the best possible time. I would say on full High, the battery is lasting about an hour. Since it goes to Medium on its own after a bit, I keep switching it to high to keep it hot. I wear it above a base layer and have 2 layers on top of it in temps in the teens to 20s and I can last sitting still for about 4-5 hours because as I get cold I turn it on and get heat. The neck line is most welcome. The battery takes a while to charge but has held up well. Overall this has turned out to be a great heated vest and very worth the investment. Will be taking out again this October/November season.

Very well made
I bought this to go fishing in the winter, it is very warm. This is high quality. The downside is it doesn’t use USB-c to provide power for the jacket, you can use the USB-C to charge. It forces you to buy their batteries because of their unique plug. The extra battery cost about half of the jacket. You can’t turn on different zones like others.

great on the golf course
This works great on the golf course on those chilly mornings – ok I’m in Texas and upper 30’s to low 40’s is chilly on the course.Battery life is good – I finish the round with 2 our of 4 bars still showing on battery.Heat is good also – I do have to turn the heat level down when I start sweating.I’m very happy with this purchase.

Great vest to help stay warm
I bought this for my husband who has Parkinson’s. This vest is great to help him keep his back and neck muscles warm so that he can be active especially on cold weather days. Very light weight and works great for him. We love the fact that he can control the temperature and adjust as he needs it.

Hot to trot!
This could potentially be the best $150 I’ve ever spent in my life.I bought the vest instead of the jacket so I could wear it in the springtime if I wanted to. In the winter I figure I could just throw a coat on over it.The vest fits as it is described, not too big, not too small.The battery that comes with this vest works well. I wore it outside at a lacrosse tournament for about 10 hours. I kept switching from the low setting (which definitely cuts the chill) to the high setting for 15 minutes or so when I got a little cold. It lasted the entire 10 hours.When on high, it definitely doesn’t last for than 3-4 hours. For me this is fine since I am outside for about two hours for my son’s roller hockey games all winter. Anyway, the ratings/timing of the battery that the company states is pretty accurate. At least at this point about 3 months after getting the vest. If I were to work outside, I would probably invest in a second battery so that I could use it as I liked, without the battery running out of juice.I have recommended this product to a countless number of people, some of whom have bought the vest themselves and love it.Very happy customer! Will definitely be buying more products from them in the future for myself, family and friends!

Keeps you Warm
My son is an avid Snowboarder… I bought this for him a Christmas..This past weekend he went Snow boarding in Vermont…. It was in the minus degrees…. He said he loved it and it kept him warm all day..I had ordered a medium because he is a small guy… But he made me exchange it for a small…he was happy I did… he would rather wear it under his other clothing closer to his body… All in all a Good investment…

Good Layering Option
Since I’m in my 70’s, I find it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep warm during the winter months, especially on early morning dog walks. I usually wear multiple layers, removing one as the day warms. This winter I decided to try a heated vest, which so far has worked fairly well. Removing a layer is easy, just turn down the heat setting. I have noticed the heating is biased towards the neck and shoulder areas, which get quite warm on the high setting. I’ll have to see if I appreciate this more during the colder months. As for sizing, I’m 5′ 7″ and 130 pounds, the small size fit perfectly. If necessary, I can still layer over it like my conventional vest, even though it is quite a bit thicker, although it pretty much fills my day pack, unlike my conventional down vest.
