    Not booting up

Bought one, plugged in, delete for BIOS, flashes up and then a blank black screen, tried various cables, reseating memory and drive, even added a SATA drive and tried to install a fresh copy of windows but nothing happens after the BIOS prompt, F7 works for boot device but after selecting USB drive or any option, blank black screen.Ordered another while doing a return to Amazon with original and exactly same issue, bad batch maybe? Not impressed, was required to replace an original broken old PC so it has been a complete waste of time!

Very compact. So far so good

It is very compact. It is even smaller than my Amazon Fire HD 8!The only problem is the wire of the power adapter which is quite short. Shorter than 6 feet I believe. So far so good (used for 1 month).

The little machine with a lot of power

Wow. Big power for a little quiet machine. This mini PC comes with everything the average user needs [i.e. not really for gaming or high end graphics] and then some. 10th generation Core i5, 16 GB of RAM [up to 64 GB], a 500 GB SSD, WiFi 6 or gigabit NIC, Windows 11 Pro, and Bluetooth 4.0 [would of been nice with 5.0],Five USB 3.x port s may not be enough for some. There is a headphone/mic jack. So if you use it for headphones you will need USB or wireless speakers.”It also supports 2.5-inch SSD or HDD to expand to 2TB” – Unsure if that is an external drive or not because the documentation says nothing about how to add or even add extra memory. Actually, the documentation really says nothing that is already obvious. If the Amazon page didn’t show an image, we wouldn’t know.It includes two 4K HDMI ports but no VGA. If you have an older monitor, you will need an adapter.Inside, aside from the mini PC, you get 2 HDMI cables, power adapter [maybe a bit short], a plate to hang it and some screws.Update: Issue: In Windows, you will see an audio device named something “Speakers (2-Senary Audio)”. This can be disabled as there is no audio jack for it. So this leave you with connecting by USB powered speakers or Bluetooth speakers [unless you have speakers in your monitor]. Of course the headphone jack isn’t strong enough to be used for speakers.

    Powerful little box

This little box pack a powerful punch. The i5 may not be the latest and the greatest, but it is still a proper i5 and yields good speed. No, you probably won’t have a fun time doing video editing or anything video-heavy tasks, but it will get the light-duty video stuff done with ease. I’m very impressed with what you get for the price.

    Great little mini-computer

Small but mighty-16G of Ram, 512G of SSD Hard Drive, i5-10th generation intel. Set up easily. Still on learning curve with WIN 11 Pro. Only negative so far is that USB ports are upside down on front side. Delivered by Amazon in 2 days. Liked it so I bought a 2nd one. Use it for light gaming, internet and email.

Excellent mini PC – as long as you don’t mind, or can work around slower WiFi issue.

Comes very nicely packaged and comes as pictured in the listing. Setup was a breeze with the two HDMI cables and a little VESA mounting plate if you wanted to attach it to the monitor you’re using it with with all the hardware to do so. Very compact little box and love the plethora USB ports (4 full size and one usb-C) makes for a very capable little workhorse. Setup was a breeze and from what I can tell, it’s a bone stock install of windows 11 pro, just as advertised! I just ran through the home setup as I don’t have anything else to really test out the other pro features other than I can confirm RDP works with just the one enable setting. The 10th gen i5 performs well though I haven’t seen it hit 3.6GHz, though it does idle around 1.2 GHz and ran prime95 for a few minutes hitting around 2.5GHz, all while staying completely silent which is no mean feat. 500GB storage is reported to be a SNVS500G and there is indeed 16GB of 3200MHZ RAM with 2 slots being reporting as populated (246MB is reserved for the onboard graphics). In terms of cons, the power brick is a bit big and the cable a bit short which limits placement slightly though not insurmountable. A USB-C PD power delivery solution would have been much better, but unfortunately isn’t present here. WiFi connection is a bit weaker than expected even when it’s roughly line of sight from a wifi6 router. Copying files locally on the machine produced speeds of 800+MB/s transfer speeds, but I was topping out at roughly 10MB/s local network file transfers and just shy of 100Mbps speedtests and fast.com which is quite disappointing fomr the reported AX201 module; thankfully the gigabit ethernet port doesn’t have the same problem.Overall, very impressed for the price, this is a near ultimate mini PC that would be absolutely great for the casual user. Wouldn’t say this is great for gaming or more demanding tasks, but it does work well for casual and light technical use. Setup and usage so far has been an absolute joy. Will update review if I run into any issues, but if you’re looking for a small PC that you can easy hide away in a media center or behind a monitor, this is a decent package. You’d be hard pressed to find a new PC at this price point with the components (at least reported by Windows). Wish that the internal WiFi antennas were better placed as many won’t have ethernet cabling avilable to take advantage of the fast port during home usage; though this would be a great asset for office or school deployments (though the lack of the standard Kensington lock port is notably missing on the unit). If it weren’t for the WiFi issue, I would heartily recommend this to any casual PC user looking for something to use. However, even in its slightly flawed state, this can still be an easy recommendation for those that are well aware of the short comings.

Recommended for daily use. However you will need a extra fan

I’m amazed how an I5 can run so well. You can use several design programs and it doesn’t get bugged. However games will not work on it. At least the current ones that require a lot of graphics memory. It’s pretty good, however I had to add a separate portable fan to keep it from getting so hot.In my particular case I used Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effect and Premiere Pro programs. These programs ran very well without delay.I give it 4.7 out of 5. Because you will need an extra fan

Excellent replacement for my all-in-one – seamless setup and operation

I am not an expert when it comes to the inner workings of computers, so I’m not going to spout the pros and cons of this or that core processor. I’m not a gamer or a heavy downloader (anymore). I did however get to work from home for over two years, and am currently working in a hybrid environment, so still working from home about 40% of the time.Leading into the pandemic I owned a refurb MacBook Air 13″ which was seldom used for more than occasional word processing or other tasks that couldn’t as easily be done on an iPhone or iPad, or when I wanted to work outside on my balcony on a sunny morning. I also have like 3-4 obsolete PC laptops squirreled away in a drawer, for reasons I cannot begin to explain, but I hadn’t had an actual “desktop” PC in many many years. I purchased an All-In-One PC right at the beginning of the work from home orders, because I knew there was no way I could function for extended periods of time on my MacBook. It was on sale and I think I paid around $600 for it, added an additional monitor and upgraded a few other peripherals as well, but let’s just say over the past 2.5 years it’s very clearly showed it’s value, or lack thereof. Around Prime Day this year I’d begun actively looking for an affordable upgrade and become quite enamored by the idea of a mini PC, since at my office I have worked from a thin client for the past 8+ years, as the majority of my work is done through a virtual desktop, whether I’m physically in the office or working from home, and it works relatively well while taking up very little space. The things I typically look for in a computer are the memory and hard drive space above all else. Since I’m not a gamer I’m not terribly concerned about having an amazing graphics card or other features like that. I basically just want a PC that has enough capacity to run smoothly without lag or crashing because I’ve got one too many applications running at any given time. This mini PC has definitely fit the bill for me, and integrating it into my work from home setup has been almost completely seamless. Of course with this change I chose to purchase another monitor, and took the opportunity to get a beautiful 27″ curved monitor which I love. My previous second monitor has remained as such, and both were plug and play – as they should be.This was my first experience with Windows 11 and that I think might be the thing that has taken the most getting used to just since the interface is a bit of a change since Windows 10 for sure, but it’s still Windows and it’s pretty user friendly and intuitive if you have any familiarity at all. Initial setup was super quick as the operating system is already loaded so you’re ready to go right away.I love that the computer itself is so small, even though I know it’s certainly not the smallest available option for a mini PC. It’s definitely small enough for me to not feel like it’s taking up precious desk space at all. It came with two HDMI cables (albeit one really short one that I didn’t end up using), which was unexpected but nice if you don’t happen to have 50 extra ones floating around at home..Obviously there are some limitations with a mini PC setup, but most are pretty easy to overcome with things like a USB hub if you need extra ports for your peripherals. I no longer have the benefit of built in speakers and an included webcam, but this mini PC has Bluetooth capability so I’ve been able to use Bluetooth headphones to be able to have Zoom meetings without issue (though I think I’ll probably buy a sound bar and an actual mic at some point, since I don’t love wearing headphones when I’m working from home). At the time of my writing, this mini PC is priced at $569, with an available $100 off coupon. I personally think that is very reasonable for what you’re getting. While again I cannot speak to whether this would be what you’re looking for if you’re a gamer or doing more than running a VCS on a daily basis, but for my purposes it’s been more than adequate, and a HUGE upgrade from my laggy All-In-One.

    Affordable upgrade

My tower PC was labouring with some video software and the choice seemed to be a parts upgrade, with more ram, and ssd hard disk and a graphics card. “Well, you really need a new motherboard/processor) said two local repair shops. Better to get a new giant pc. The specs I needed came out at £600 plus for a tower pc. Then, coming across this 500 gb micro pcversion, I noticed a voucher for it, bringing it down to £300+. It arrived within 48 hours, is half the size of a paperback and has a nifty bracket to fix it on the back of a modern monitor. That’s useful since the mini hdmi out to the hdmi in of monitor is very short. It’s virtually silent in operation, easy to set up, extremely capable and runs everything I need fast. It feels robust and well made, takes up a fraction of space, and I suspect uses less energy since there’s no whirring and grinding as from my last pc. Four usb slots is on the limited side, but you can daisy chain usb socket accessories to hearts content. There is no dvd kit of course but a dvd accessory is peanuts. So far, so brilliant. Thoroughly recommended.

    Little bundle of joy

Very pleasantly surprised. I usually go for the branded stuff – I’ve had an intel NUC and an Asus mini PC – so to consider buying from an unknown firm was a risk. It paid off. Unit feels good quality. Sturdy metal chassis. Opened it up to add a 2TB SSD for storage and all was neat and organised. Original boot and updates were all good – running Win 11 Pro out of the box! Processor purring along nicely. BIOS is simple and easy to navigate. Saved me an awful lot of money – with the extra voucher at checkout. Excellent machine thus far and pleased I took the chance. And no, I haven’t been asked to write this it’s just a nice surprise.

Good packaging, comes with HDMI cable and very quick to setup (standard windows setup). Boot in less than 9 seconds when new (will get slower when antivirus and other program load and execute before login screen) and shutdown in similar time. I haven’t notice any sound (fan) yet but I haven’t tried heavy applications so far.

    It runs Linux

This came with MS-Windows pre-installed and I couldn’t do anything with it until I completed the registration process. NB it took me some time to discover that it uses ESCAPE key to access the BIOS.MS-Windows was immediately replaced with Linux. Specifically Proxmox (the N100 supports virtualization) which currently does not come with the Intel AX-201 wifi drivers (but oddly does come with bluetooth drivers for the same chips?). Not a big issue for me as this is running headless so its using a cable next to my router. It seems well put together except:- the 2.5″ bay will not accomodate a standard thickness drive (9mm)- the USB sockets are powered even when the device is shut down

    Great little PC

The first thing I did on this was to wipe windows off and install Linux. I’ve run a couple of distros, mainly fedora, on it with no issues whatsoever.I’m mainly using this as a media PC connected to my TV. It streams most channels really well. I occasionally notice a few stutters playing YouTube, but this is only for 4k video

I just wanted something a little faster

These days, I only use a PC for surfing the web, watching videos on various platforms and streaming music. This is perfect for music streaming and surfing the web. Watching YouTube at 1080p60 is awesome. It’s also great for streaming music from the likes of Tidal and Qobuz which is just what I wanted it for. This mini PC loaded webpages much snappier and could handle the opening of more than 20 tabs without lag. The thing with this mini PC that I’m proud of is the performance you get just from doing the things that I do, which really aren’t intensive at all. I’ve had a great experience with it so far.

Decent little box for the money

Wanted a small PC for very light general use. More than quick enough for those purposes, small form factor means can be located pretty much anywhere and runs very quiet.Won’t handle any games more challenging than Solitaire but that wasn’t what I bought it for.Took one mark off due to one of the USB ports not working and the LAN port only supporting 100MB

    Linux wifi support

If you’re planning to use this with Linux, be aware that it has quite a new wifi chip (AX101) and needs a new kernel for the wifi to function (6.4.2 or above according to a link Amazon won’t let me post, although I found I needed 6.5).On Debian this kernel can currently be downloaded from the unstable repo. For more information search kernel bugzilla 217300.

    Slow and unstable.

I was initially pleased with this mini pc. It seemed a good price for relatively hi specs. However, after 10 months, it’s slowed down considerably even though there are very few programs installed. One of the HDMI ports no longer works and it takes several attempts to actually get it to boot up.Try a different make.

    Son loves it!

Son loves it! He tested it and opened 50 tabs on the net. He says he is really impressed with the speed and quality. It works great for Roblox and all the pc games he is purchasing on Stream. He has an Xbox too but he spending more time on this pc and rarely touching his xbox now. He gets better priced games this way and can play a lot of games with his friends. It saves so much space too! We are so happy with this item. I work with graphics and if I ever need a PC in the future, I’m getting myself one too! Thank you !

Excellent PC for home working etc

The PC is remarkably small given its capabilities. (Note: this is the 16GB version). This PC is not used for gaming but the graphics in general use are good.Even with intensive tasks such as backups and indexing the box is effectively silent making a change from older laptops and desktops. The wifi and ethernet connections are reliable and fast. Particularly usefuld is being able to mount it on the back of the monitor which makes the cabling tidier and the “all in one” easy to move if needing to clear space in the home. The only issue to be wary of, not themanufacturer of the hardware at fault, but is ensuring that you bring Windows 11 fully up to date. This took several rounds of checking for updates. Also go to the intel website and get updates directly from there for the graphics etc.Considering the relatively low cost (purchased on a deal price) this is an excellent PC providing you set your expectations accordingly.

Desktop power in a tiny box but tiny box gets hot

This is my 3rd Mini PC and I gradually upgraded them as I moved workloads off my my big, noisy, power hungry full sized NAS server (see photo). This review is about using it as a server but there are loads of reviews on Youtube with people using these as an entry level gaming PC and if you’re not gaming you could easily replace your desktop with this, they’re quieter and use 5-10x less power.+ Size and Footprint:In the photo, you’ll see my desktop server and then the Trigkey S5 on top of it, and a Beelink Mini S above that. As you can see the Trigkey is slightly wider than the Beelink but is a still a tiny footprint if you were using it on on a desktop, or even better you could mount it to the back of your monitor with with vesa kit that comes with it.+ RAM:I got this because I needed something that would support 64GB RAM to run more machines and labs on my Proxmox server. Most of these low power Celeron N-series ones are much more efficient but only support 16GB max. I previously used a Beelink GKMini (J4125 8GB) and a Mini S (N5095 16GB) and thought I would save power and space by combining them into one more powerful box. That didn’t quite happen as I will explain.+ OS and performance:This came with Windows 11 and that was running very smoothly but I quickly replaced it with Proxmox (Debian Linux) which was seamless. I have all the network adapters and hardware working under Debian but not the bluetooth which I didn’t need. Then I transferred my VMs and containers including Home Assistant and a handful of Windows and Linux servers. One of my servers runs Blue Iris a Windows security camera DVR which was struggling running on the N5095. This Ryzen doesn’t even break into a sweat with 6 cameras and Codeproject AI. Everything runs much faster and smoother, and with over a dozen VMS and containers running this will easily run double that without getting stressed. I know it may seem obvious but it really is noticeably faster and better performing that the two Beelink Celerons.+ Heat:BUT… It comes at a cost… Attached are 3 graphs showing CPU, Temperature and power consumption. The CPU is only running at 10-30% but the temperature is hitting the 70C+… You’ll see in the photo I have put the two MiniPCs in a custom rack with fans mounted each side to help cooling. Its not unusual for these tiny PCs to run hot but this was cruising at 70-80C with 20% load (and the odd spike). Imagine if I was maxing it out? I think you’d get thermal throttling or even shutdown!+ Noise:Its actually very quiet, maybe the fan is broken 🙂 Seriously I can feel its running but I never hear it screaming. I never hear it over my desktop, and even with everything off the Trigkey noise is a whisper. If you’re wanting a quieter option vs your fullsize desktop, this is it.+ Power:Then the power saving… Well my full sized server used over 100W, and the Trigkey uses 30-50W. You can see the graph attached shows JUST the Trigkey in yellow and then Trigkey+Big Server combined when they’re both on. The little Celerons, J4125 circa 10W, the N5095 (15W) running same or similar loads, same peripherals plugged in etc. So the 1 x Trigkey Ryzen MiniPC uses an average of 40W vs 25W for 2 x Beelink Celeron Mini PCs!+ TDP and Bios:With the heat and power usage, the 5560U has a trick up its sleeve – configurable TDP! Its the reason I chose the 5560U over the 5500U, newer (Zen 3), lower power and configurable TDP. In the bios I set it to the lowest possible (10W?) it did make a slight difference but the figures you see already include that, but the Proxmox performance was hardly affected at all. Bios is very configurable BTW, there’s almost too many options in there that might get you into trouble, but good to know they’re there.Another thing about the Trigkey brand, its pretty clear they ship very similar PCs to Beelink, having had both, I don’t there’s anything between them build quality wise but the support, even the website for Beelink is superior. I bought this as it was on a deal and significantly cheaper than other brands, but if they were closer in price, I probably wouldn’t have chosen Trigkey. In conclusion, I think I probably should have returned it with the thermal concerns but the power usage is probably expected, and going to be the same for any powerful mobile CPU once you step outside the lower power Celerons. Still a contender at the right price.

    A great mini pc

My Mum needed a new PC to replace her current one that was just getting slower and slower over the years. I decided that a mini pc would be all she needed as it’s only going to be used for browsing and banking. This little computer fits the bill perfectly. Comes pre-installed with Windows 11 and set up was very quick and easy. They give you the option of restoring a previous computers apps and settings, but I prefer to start fresh. I had the machine up and running with the apps she uses in about 30 minutes. It has 4 USB3 ports which is enough for basic needs. The only niggle I have with pretty much all mini-pcs is that they put the speaker jack on the front. It really would be better if they were on the back. Being on the front means you have to have a speaker cable sticking out at all times (unless you use bluetooth or USB-only speakers of course). The fan kicks in from time to time, but it’s not overly noisy. For the price this little computer is difficult to beat for basic computing needs.

    Amazing!

I’m seriously amazed by the quality of this pc for the price. I’ve moved from a ‘gaming’ pc to this and saved a ridiculous amount of space (see pics for comparison).I was concerned about the graphics, particularly, but they’re better. With Windows 11, this takes about 10 seconds to boot up, I never bother with sleep mode any more.Another big difference is no fan noise – really impressed that I’ve got such a good spec pc, with a 1Gb SSD, plenty of USB ports, ethernet, wifi and bluetooth for just £315.Never heard of Trigkey before, but this appears (from the outside) to be a quality piece of kit.

    A Little Gem

I needed a PC for general use: Office, online, some photo/ graphic stuff. Not a gamer. This little, & it is teeny, is fantastic. From unboxing to setup was a couple of minutes.Once the Wi-Fi password was in, it was a few minutes of updates (this is Microsoft Windows after all), couple of downloads & away we went.Obvious speed & handling improvement over my old system. So far, the performance is excellent.I added a 2tb ext hdd (Toshiba). Plugged in & working faster than it took to write this.As someone whose had PCs since the old 486 days (yes, we’re not all dead) this is without a doubt the easiest, quickest & neatest setup of a PC ever.

Great value for a home media server

I was considering building a custom server or buying a prebuild server like dell optiplex or umbrel, stumbled across this mini PC while following guides.Well worth the money for the spec. I have it setup with plex and many other automated solutions to feed into my cloud storage and media storage.1 click setup, windows was preinstalled.Have remote desktop setup as it’s the pro version so I just leave it hooked up to the router and no screen or devices attached other than the storage drives.Very low wattage so it costs a lot less to run 24/7 than my main PC which is why I wanted this. Great product 👌

    fantastic bit of kit.

i bought this mini pc because i had sold my gaming setup due to lack of use, but still wanted to be able to browse the web, transfer files wirelessly to my home server and play cloud based games and Hearthstone (the on PC game I currently play).I gave myself a budget of of £200 and almost bought a Windows tablet until I stumbled across a mini PC, albeit lower spec than this one.I researched all the CPU’s in the sub £200 mini PC offering and settled on the N100 due to it’s 24 Extraction Units. I bought an additional 500gGB SSD to go with it.Putting the effort in was worth it as this is a little beast! This thing does everything i want it to and more. Loads up webpages snappy, plays Hearthstone on high at 60Fps, is quiet and accepts all my peripherals to truly make it a desktop replacement. You can put it in your pocket and take it with you!it is also wifi6 even though the listing says wifi5.The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the lack of USB C, which should be standard in this day and age. a micro SD slot would also have been nice. I use a USB A to USB C adaptor which works fine. All in all, I highly recommend this computer. You won’t be disappointed.

    Good

It’s a great little desk top , however it took some adjusting to get it from Chinese to English settings , if you are not computer savvy this may cause some difficulties , it come nicely packaged and sits beautifully on any table without the bulk of a normal desk top , no issues so far and work fine for every day use.

    Great piece of kit

This works very well and is surprisingly capable. If all you need is a regular desktop machine then this is more than enough. The Windows install was fine, however, I wanted to install and use Linux Mint. This was all ok except the Wi-Fi did not work (although the Ethernet did). This was fixed my manually installing kernel v 6.5 which tooo me a little research to figure out, and may be useful others.

Great Mini PC. I would buy again

This is a great mini PC. I have not used Tech Support and do not use it for gaming so I had to give both a 1 star. For general home office use it is great. Very easy to set up and Microsoft 365 works great on it. Additional camera was easy to set up. The only other thing I wish it had was a couple of additional USB port in the back to clear any clutter on the front. After 3 weeks of use, no issues. Great deal at a great price.

    It’s a little rocket!

This little PC is quick, quiet and runs MS OFfice 365 apps like a champ. It was very easy to set up and the video quality is super on the HDMI connection. I’m very happy with this unit and would buy again anytime. My main concern with getting a smaller PC like this one was noise and it’s really quiet. It sits about 18″ away from me on the desktop and I’ve never heard it. I’m not really pushing it, and not gaming at all, but I am playing videos and I’ve never noticed it at all. Plus, as I mentioned, all my apps run quickly with no issues. Super happy here! Starting the unit up is fast too which is an added bonus.
