Sometimes you just need a manual pump
I do have wearable pumps as well as an electric pump, but sometimes it’s just convenient to have a manual pump. You have a little bit more control with a manual pump that you just don’t have with an electric pump. If I’m trying to get my supply up, I always come back to this pump.

Get it!
This is a great back up pump. I just finished my pumping journey and I was so glad I bought this. Once my baby was more mobile it was hard to sit in one spot and pump so this was a life saver.It’s easy enough to clean and take apart. Just be careful not to lose the little white flap -I think it comes with an extra. oh and the tiny little o ring on the handle. Keep your eye on that. Otherwise this was an awesome hand pump.I definitely used it a lot more than it’s intended for and it held up! It’s durable and easier to bring along with you if you’re on the go. Great product and great brand!

Bang for your buck!
Pumps are expensive! And with a newborn if you’re pumping, sometimes it’s impossible to pump bc you can’t put your baby down. Been there! I ordered this hand held pump so when I’m holding him I can still get some relief and still not miss a pump session and keep my supply up. It definitely works and works well! You can pump quicker with this than you can an electric pump or the willow…again I have all 3. If you’re short on time or your pump isn’t chargeable, this will save you. If your hubby is back to work and you want to rip your hair out bc you have no time to pump, this will save you. If you’re running an errand and your baby won’t latch so you have to rely on pumping or formula, this will save you. Couldn’t recommend more! It is only ONE pump. But truly one is all you need sister!

love ! took a couple tries to figure it out but it does have a stronger suction than the lansinoh , flange insert will be needed but u have to figure out how far to push down because of how strong the suction is you can hurt yourself. so be careful both pumps work the same if u like a strong suction this is the one if u like a less suction but good pump get the purple one.

LOVE
The best manual pump I have used! Don’t buy those cheap ones, I did. They didn’t work for more than a week. This product is easy to clean, comfortable and really gets all the breastmilk out. The best part is you can buy your own size flanges! The suction is really great too!Just remember to take apart the handle part to clean cause milk gets into that which is normal.

I was looking for a manual pump for breast simulation. The pump doesn’t suction good. It latches but the piece to manually pump keeps turning and then it stop every few seconds. A bit aggravating.

Perfect in the go
Perfect for if you’re in the go or forgot your pump! It does empty rather quickly in about 10ish minutes for each breast totally 20 mins. My hand has not gotten tired using this as you think it would. You are able to control how long the suction goes for and how strong you want it. Easy to clean and take apart. Great option for a gift.

Handy Handheld pump.
The media could not be loaded.
Great for moms that don’t want to be hooked up to the wall while pumping. I use it at night and store the pump in a cooler with ice packs. I simply pump for 15-20 minutes and pour milk into a storage container. Ive been able to increase my milk supply by doing this!

Work as a wonder
As a second time mom, I have prepared myself for cracked and sore nipples again. After three days of breast feeding, both my nipples started bleeding. This hand pump saved my life as it works very well to pump the milk out. And my breast can have enough time to heal as well as my new born have enough milk to drink.

It worked very well but its pressure changes after several months
I will give you the most honest opinion. I am a mother for the first time and I decided during my pregnancy to be exclusive breastfeeding. buy 2 expensive brands of extractors 1 of 600 us and another of 100. the 2 caused me mastitis 2 times. I really decided to try this because I was going to have a long flight and I didn’t want to make a lot of noise on a plane with a noisy machine. I tried it for the first time and I loved it, the pressure is very good, you finish very quickly… the only bad thing I can say is that after 4 MONTHS YOU NEED TO BUY ANOTHER BECAUSE WHEN USE IS GARBAGE AND ITS PRESSURE CHANGES TO PRACTICALLY NOTHING ! This is the 2 time that I buy it ….. Very good the truth. I wish I could go back in time and buy it sooner

It Works

Works amazingly!
All the other pumps don’t come close to this. Great suction, and fits most bottles, especially Dr. Brown.The small valve ripped after a few months, but ours came with a second one for that very reason.

Best hand pump
This hand pump is the best. I’ve used a few different brands of hand pumps (this Medela, an Ameda which requires a horribly awkward hand angle and position that makes pumping for any length of time nearly impossible, and an Avent hand pump which the handle would pop off of very frequently), and a few different brands of electric pumps. This is my go to favorite, except for times I need to be multitasking and cannot be consumed by pumping. This is great for pumping while feeding baby, especially in early weeks. Convenient to carry around. Quieter than any electric pump. Best yield, and most comfortable. Great to have as a backup, too, for times cannot plug in.The only thing I would ask for is a few extra “O” rings.

Kept Me Breastfeeding – Life Saver & A Must!
I exclusively breastfed but used this to pump at work, on long car rides (we travel a lot), as my sole pump if needed when traveling, and now I even use it to pump directly into my 6 month old’s baby cereal. This thing is an absolute must, works great, and travels so well without having to carry around a big pump, recharge anything for the hands free pumps, etc. It’s just a wonderful option, and I am only going to have to buy one for my breastfeeding journey. You can pump into the provided container or directly into a storage bag. The Dr. Brown’s bottles (what our baby preferred) don’t make a perfect fit on the pump (not perfectly tight) but stay on well enough to pump right into them!

Buy it!!!
I cannot praise this item enough for saving my milk supply. My milk supply was starting to die down, and I was using the spectra and Elvie pumps but since it seemed more of a hassle to use these pumps for me, I was not using them every three hours. I looked into manual pumps such as this one, and I have not used any of my other pumps since I have bought this one. The section is very strong and you can finish pumping and emptying your breasts in half the time as the other pumps do. It’s very convenient to use on the go and when you are out compared to the other pumps. I absolutely love this pump. I can even pump as I am bottlefeeding my baby without it being in her face or uncomfortable. I highly recommend using this item during your breast-feeding journey

Great & Easy to Use Pump!
I hate pumping but this made it doable. I wasn’t tied to a wall & it was well worth the hand work out. It’s easy to find inserts for and it’s quiet and quick! It’s always in my diaper bag and the Dr. Brown bottles fit it! I have no complaints- it does work better with a duck bill valve though but that’s an easy fix.If you have hand issues, this may not work for you.***

Helped with my supply!
This pump was really awesome for increasing my supply! After feeding baby, I used this to remove any milk left behind on both sides! It has been great to use also when I pumped an hour ago & felt another let down. I used this instead of being attached to the electric ones because it’s so much quicker at taking out the milk. a must have for every mom using breastmilk
I have owned about 6 of these over the last 4 yearsBetween my two children. I mostly pumped because let’s face it, breastfeeding is really hard. Unfortunately I experienced a lot of painful clogged ducts. I used the spectra mostly and willow at work. But when I needed a quick powerful pump that would suck every drop out and blast a clogged duct, I went for he medela harmony pump. At first the set up and parts are confusing but once you don’t 3/4 times it’s easy and second nature.Best uses -* in the hospital if a hospital pumping available* if you need to pump and do not have the spade, time or electricity to do a machine pump* if you have a clogged ductTroubleshooting that helped me-* always check the yellow piece that goes in the clear rubber stopper inserted into the handle. If the little stem coming off of it doesn’t have a tiny tiny white silicone ring around it, then the pump will not have effective suction.* Get a back up pack of the silicone rings and the white valve flaps Bc they go missing either down the drain or in the sterilizer.* use the little holder stand for the assembled pump bc it is too heavy and fall over and spill your milkThen you will cry. And the only spilled milk you can cry over, is breastmilk* when you start pumping use the small front part of the handle to do fast strong suction motions for stimulation. Once the milk comes in switch to the longer part of the handle and so slow long pumps. If you have a clogged duct do the long slow pumps while using your knuckles to massage the duct.* do not put the medela bottle in a bottle warmer. My melted and mutated. And ruined 4 oz of breastmilk. Transfer it into another bottle that you know is okay in the warmer.* the newer flanges that are more flexible with the white outer rim can get morphed easily with heat and stacking it against other parts. It is also highly annoying to get this flange smoothly into a pumping bra as it keep getting stuck up on the outer silicone ring part.Also there are annoying things about it, I do feel this is a necessity for every breastfeeding or pumping mom.

Should’ve invested in one a long time ago!
I normally use the freemie hands free pump cause it was covered by insurance but I’d struggle to get a good suction, but this one! I got a full once in less than 2 minutes of using! Yes it’s tedious because you have to manually do it, but you can get 2ce the amount of milk in less time

Patience
Alright so I got this as a JUST IN CASE. I used it once and realized that I honestly need patience and time if I’m manually pumping. It may have just been user error but I didn’t see a huge output compared to my Medela maxi-swing. The convenience is that you can pump on one side and nurse on the other if you have a free hand.

Good suction
What I like about this pump is that it has the strongest suction of any pump I’ve used. However I must add that it is also harder to clean than others pumps I’ve used. This is because it has a part with very narrow passages for the milk to flow through. Maybe that is why the suction is so good. But you will want a tiny brush to get those spots. Another con to this is that you have to make sure the part that attaches itself to the handle is aligned at all times or you will have little to no suction. I have an Avent pump that is far easier to clean but I tend to be going for my Medela pump because I can get more milk.

Great Manual Pump
Love this manual pump, pumped 5 oz in less than 15 minutes. I did use a 21mm flange I purchased separately (the one provided is too large). It definitely comes in handy when I need to pump away from home with no electrical output. Nice and easy to clean. Highly recommend. Wish it would of came with two though.

This Manuel pumps has been a game changer for me, I have used other pumps and this one by far is the best. The one things that I wish they would change is that the cupping is oval rather than a circle… breast are circular not oval.

I was looking for something to take with me when I travel that wasn’t too bulky to pump and dump, and this was the one. It’s easy to put together, easy to clean, small/portable for a travel bag, and the suction works as you’d expect. The only reason I gave it four stars is because I wish that that flange stuck to the skin a little so it wasn’t so easy for it to lose suction. That’s more of a design recommendation though, so it’s still the best manual pump that I’ve found 💯

Good to have on the go. Need to be patient.
I had to use this pump a few times when I was out and about during the day and couldn’t have my main pump with me. It does take some time to get a let down and get all of the milk you need out. I was a bit impatient, so I don’t think I got nearly as much milk as I probably could have if I was more patient. But overall a very comfortable pump and great to have when you are on the go and don’t have access to your main pump.

Simple and functional
I am a 1st time mom and bought several different types of pumps, so far this one is my favorite. It’s simple to use easy to clean and compatible with most flange inserts if you need anything smaller than a 24mm. its super easy to use on the go when I need to let a little milk out or if my infnt is hungry but we aren’t in a position where I can nurse him. I can pump right into my Dr Browns bottles and feed him. The only caveat I have found, is that I had to purchase some duck-bill-valves, they just seemed to have better suction , fo r my preffrence anyway. 100% recommend this to my pump-using moms.

Great manual pump
I’ve been breastfeeding for going on 22 months, I had to travel a few times without my son and this worked better than any of the electric pumps I bought. (I purchased four different electric pumps). My supply has slowly started to dwindle and this still helps me express milk

Easy to use, sometimes needs adjusting
I have found this incredibly easy for on the go or quick expression of milk. Sometimes it’s even faster than my hospital grade pump at getting milk out. Only critiques are it’s difficult to ensure milk doesn’t get in the bottom part of the flange against my breast, affecting suction capability. It’s also tough to clean inside the small parts.

Love this thing
Update !!!After continuously using this pump the problem fixed itself. I completely forgot this happened till I came to look at my reviews I’ve left! Idk what went wrong for a week but all I know now is it works now. I did replace the plastic suction piece for a white duck bill that I had from my spectra pump . Amazing pump. Quick. Don’t squeak anymore. Only blahhh thing is the hard plastic. I wish there was a silicone cushion I could insert It was amazing and I still love it but for some reason the handle and suction is giving out. I replaced the duckbill piece and the flange but the handle squeaks and the suction gives. Thinking it’s the rubber and yellow piece to hold the handle. Idkk. Kinda disappointed now since I can barely pump 2 oz with it.It was the only thing I was using for 2 months ! To collect colostrum and milk. But now I might have to part with it.And the middle piece sucks to clean !

Don’t know why I wasted my money on the electric Medela pump, this one turned out to be better. I also have a wearable pump that I use like when I’m driving or I’m out of the house. This one definitely collects more milk in a shorter time than the electric pump

love this little pump
This is the perfect pump to carry in your bag just in case you need to get some milk off one side or the other. It’s very quiet and easy to manipulate. I use it alot when I still feel full after a feeding but I don’t want to get engorged on one side. I love that I can easily manipulate the pace and pressure of the pump, because of this I feel like it’s less aggressive than a motorized pump and you never have to worry about it being charge. I would definitely recommend this to breast feeding moms who intermittently need to pump vs. Someone who is exclusively pumping.

How did I not have one of these sooner?!? If you’re a pumping mom this is a must have!! I didn’t have one with my first and now I’m kicking myself. It’s perfect for middle of the night, on the go, or I don’t feel like sitting through an entire pump session. I can totally drain a side in 5 mins or less and it actually gets it all out. Do yourself a favor and get it friend

Great for what it is! NOT a final solution for exclusive or frequent pumping
I love this product. 5 stars. Easy to assemble, easy to clean. Love the oval shape of the flanges, much more organic than the simple round ones that I have on my other pump and harder to break the vacuum with.Now I hope a fellow new mom out there hears me: this type of product is perfect for occasional pumping, or a quick couple pumps after breastfeeding to make sure you’re drained. If you’re like me and you’re having to pump a lot more than planned or expected, DO NOT push through wrist pain!! You can permanently damage your carpal tunnels! If this happens to you, act fast, spend money on an electric pump, even if it’s a cheaper one. Anything is going to be better than permanent wrist pain. I only pushed through the pain for a couple days before I decided it wasn’t worth it. It wasn’t even that bad. I’ve had my electric pump for a week now and I’m still recovering and having wrist pain pop up here and there with simple everyday tasks. This isn’t an indictment on medela, I love this brand! This is just a friendly PSA that manual pumps have limitations by their very nature. Know your limit and the limit of this product and you’ll love it.

Great hand pump- should give replacement O-ring
Works wonderfully. This was my second one I purchased. Didn’t realize the o-ring fell off, or was even part of the pump. I thought the first just lost suction for some reason until I received the second and saw the little white ring. It also slipped off the first time I washed the second but I was prepared this time. Medela should give a few extras since they’re so tiny and slip off easily when washing
