Keeps the food and water area tidy
The mat arrived rolled up, but it lays flat without any lumps and is the perfect size for our automatic feeder and PetKit water fountain to share. It is a thick silicone and has a sturdy rim which keeps any spilled water contained to the mat.The cats have not had any aversion to the mat and have been eating and drinking like normal. I’m happy that this will help prevent further water damage to the wood where we have the water fountain.5 stars

Great for water spills and splashes when cleaning aquariums
Despite my attempts at being careful, I always managed to spill some water on my flooring whenever I perform water changes or clean my canister filters for my aquariums. With this mat, pretty much the minor water spills and splashes were contained within this mat. It is also easy to wipe dry, roll back up and stored away after the aquarium maintenance is complete.The raised edges was one of the selling points to getting this mat, and I was pleased with this product. If I have to add my two cents for further improvements, I just wished that there were bigger options available.

Great size and nice design
This mat surprise me for the price that it’s selling for! It’s a great size and fits the water bowl and food bowl very well. It is a little thinner than I expected; however, it doesn’t need to be thick to be effective. It keeps liquids off of the floor and the raise the lip on this mat is a perfect height. The color wasn’t quite what I expected when I think of beige as it has a more yellowish tint to it. All in all, this appears to be a great value, especially when compare compared to the mats that are sold at the big box pet stores. This is a no-brainer.

Great For Messy Dog sand Cats
Do you have furry family member that gets a little to excited that its meal time?! Are the so happy to eat that they drag their bowl knocking out food and water?! Problem Solved! This food mat had a lip all the way around the edge that prevents spilled food and water from scattering across your floor. Since it is made of silicone, it is very easy to clean and nothing will stick to it. The floor of the mat has tiny little bumps helping to give grip to water and food bowls. It works well!

Perfect for what I needed!
I have older cats and they are very messy!! This mat fits perfectly in the space I have and cleans like a dream, much easier than scrubbing the tile that the food would get stuck on. It arrived rolled up so I was a bit worried it would take time to flatten out, but nope! Unrolled it and it was perfect. Looks like hard plastic but is soft so easy to pickup and rinse when needed.Would love if they came out with a terra cotta color to match my floor, but for now this works great!

Love This Mat!
I was so pleasantly surprised at the thickness and durability of this mat when it arrived. It has a nice ridge to it, so the bowls don’t get pushed around when my “boys” are eating or drinking. It is plenty large enough for two large dishes, a small dish, and some treats, as can be seen in the picture. I ordered the smallest one (18″X12″) and am very pleased with the size and color (beige). I also wiped up a spill and it was very easy. This is a very well-thought-out design!

It’s Fine So Far
I’ve been wanting a pet mat for a while but haven’t found one I liked until this one. At 12.25″ x 18″ the size is true to listing. Also the mat is not structured, the material is soft. I feed the cat on a table because my dog also loves to eat cat food and the mat is nice way to keep the table cleaner for a little longer. Thumbs up

Excellent Basic Food Mat
Comes 2 per pack. Supple and lay flat right out of the package. Similar mats we’ve had have weak lips that fold under the weight of spilled liquids. Tested these and they were able to contain spilled liquid right up to the top of the lip. Outstanding basic feeding mat at an excellent price and works better than many pricier, fancier mats we’ve had.

Works Well to Protect the Top of the Washer Too
It’s a bit flimsier than I thought it would be. It also has a paint odor, noticeable, but not strong. I’m using two of them on top of our new washer to protect the finish. I store the detergent dispenser on top when not in use so it can dry thoroughly, and this mat will help to contain any water from that. Overall, I’m satisfied.

Works perfectly
This product has been a lifesaver during feeding time for my cats. They absolutely eat as if they’ve never eaten in 10 years super messy getting food everywhere. I chose the beautiful blue color for my mat and I’ve only had to wash this mat once and it was as easy as pie.The item did not come with weird smells or any weird residues. I was able to use it right out of the box but with any item I’d recommend washing before using with pets my cats weren’t weirded out by the mat and I think the blue color helps them be able to see in our beige rooms. They will all sit on the mat to eat out of their bowls. I have four and they are fairly medium size cats to give you a better idea of how big the mat is.Definitely worth getting for my needs and I’m considering buying another one for my cats to have more eating space.

Actually waterproof
Great for pets who are messy eaters. Our kitties always knock food off their dishes and they constantly get water on the floor. Wonderful for pet fountain!
My 90-lb. “baby” is a sloppy drinker (aren’t they all?????) and this is perfect for her water bowl. I am changing her to a pet fountain for cleaner water and this is the perfect base. I just keep an eye on it and grab any slops and dribbles with a microfiber cloth. My kitchen floor is far drier.

Makes clean up quick & easy. Seriously.
This silicone mat came rolled and sealed in plastic, but it unrolled flat when opened. It’s made of BPA-free and food-grade silicone. Feels thick, durable & soft and proves to be tough enough for my naughty cats. This mat does not slide around on my wood floor, no matter how the cat tries to move it. The water fountain stays put on the raised dots on the surface. She can not push it around however, naughty cat can still make it splash. The ridge keeps water on the mat, making for much easier clean up. I can use paper towels to soak up water or carry the mat to the sink, which there is trial and error to master that. I am serious when I say this little 12 x 18″ mat has made clean up much easier. I wish I had found this when the cats first came home with us. I do recommend this as your pets water mat. In fact, I’m purchasing another one for the food bowls.

Stays put, easy to clean
I am using this as a pet food mat, but I can envision many other uses for it. (I already had a different food mat, but I kept finding it in the middle of the room with bowls spilled since it could slide around–cats’ favorite activity, apparently.) The MateeyLife mat stays put so I’m not having to clean up spills every day. When my cats are messy on the mat itself, it’s easy to rinse off in the sink and dries quickly. I will likely be purchasing more of these.

I love how easily this mat rolled out and laid down flat. Usually I find, even with silicone, that the edges still curl up a little bit. This one laid down flat right out of the package. I did not smell any chemical smells from the mat. The mat is thin but feels high quality. My dogs are unbothered by the mat. I use this for my water because my dogs lick a bunch of water and then don’t swallow it before leaving the water bowl. I also had to wipe the mat which turned out to be easy. This isn’t a “sticky” silicone mat and was super easy to wipe off and rinse off.It works great and I love it!!! I will buy another one for my messy eater.

There’s a bit of bumps on the upright side that holds the dog dishes from moving around.
Now I’m not using this product for the purpose it was designed for. Even though I DO have dogs! I’m a glass artist and wanted a mat to use under my cutting wheel so I could make better cuts. It was suggested to me to get a silicone dog bowl mat as all the shards of tiny glass that seem to go everywhere are caught by the edges of the mat. This is true, it definitely improves the cutting of glass experience! The half-inch lip is perfect for this.The little bumps on the mat, spaced one inch apart, are kind of handy as a ruler, but not necessary for the glass cutting. It would keep a dog dish from moving around the mat, though.I got the 16 x 24″ mat, and it is great for my creative purpose. Two thumbs up!

I desperately needed this
So I have two German Shepherds who love to dribble water and food everywhere. Love them, but they are extremely messy. So the mat has been such a huge help in the kitchen in keeping food and water mostly in the mat. The mat’s little bumps keep the trays from moving around. The silicone mat is not heavy and rolls up very easily when storing. Clean up has been very easy when using the mat. Highly recommend.

It’s not a bad solution, but I don’t recommend purchasing a light color. Some stains have become permanent, despite a multitude of cleaning attempts with different cleaning products.

Beware extremely thin cat mat

Nice size and Nonslip
This mat works well for its purpose. It arrived rolled up and shrink wrapped but once you unpack it, it rolls out flat right away. I put my cats water fountain on it so any water droplets won’t fall on our hardwood and so far it’s working well. You can see its a good size in the photo too, even with the water fountain, there’s room for multiple other bowls if needed. It’s also true to size. The only issues I can think of are 1) I would have liked a better color variety to choose from but this sky blue color is fine and 2) the mat was softer than I expected. It was a little difficult to wash at first since the silicone isn’t very stiff so the mat would bend unexpectedly and water splashed me a few times. But I don’t think it’s the biggest problem and I got used to it. This issue is why it rolled out flat right away so I’m not too bothered by it. Solid buy overall.

This is a decent pet food mat.
Upon first opening the product, it seemed very flimsy and a lot thinner than my other mats that I purchased from Walmart. I unrolled it and it was indeed very thin. I put it on the floor and it is fine for it’s intended use. I like the larger size which you can’t find in local big box stores and I like the beige color. I am able to fit two large food and water dispensers on it with room to spare. I think this is a good purchase and will do what it’s intended to do. I recommend this product for those looking for a larger size mat.

Perfect!
I love this mat! I use it for my cats, who eat only canned food and tend to make a huge mess. Before using this, damp crumbs were everywhere (gross!), but the mat is a perfect size to keep it all contained. I rarely have to sweep any crumbs around the mat, and don’t even have to touch the crumbs to clean up daily – I just scoop up the mat, shake it out over the trash bin, and everything comes off very easily.I bought it in the cream color and it still has no signs of staining after multiple months of use and very little actual cleaning of the mat beyond tossing out crumbs. It rolled out flat without needing to weigh it down, and had no plastic smells. It is definitely waterproof. The quality is absolutely outstanding for the price.Highly recommend!

Nice food tray but a little lightweight

Glad I snagged one of these large, thick silicone mats. The mat is fairly thick but not heavy. It ships rolled up but lays flat when unpacked. Love the raised edges. Mine had a slight odor, so I had to air it out a bit prior to use. Lovely color (creamy beige).

Floor savers!

great mat
I needed a simple mat to go under my dog’s dishes. Something that wouldn’t slide all around and kept his bowls from slipping. This mat is perfect. Sticks to the floor, (uneven slate tiles), and keeps the dishes in place. Lip around the edge to help contain the mess. Very happy with my purchase

Easy setup and clean
My cat has a place to eat and drink. I bought this small mat for her to eat treats and drink water temporarily. It is easy to place the mat on the floor and put treats on top. The mat holds the spilled food and water to keep the floor clean. After she finished eating, I cleaned up the mat easily. Now, she knows she’s about to have treats when she sees me placing the mat on the floor. 🙂

Great snack station for my kitties!!
I have two cats and I like to give them those little tube treats periodically throughout the day. In the beginning, I was just squeezing it onto our hard floor because when I tried to use a tray, it would just move around and they couldn’t use i & would get frustrated and leave.So I decided to get this little silicone mat big enough so each of them could be at either end and eat their little tube treats… It works beautifully… keeps my furry girls out of each other space far enough apart that they enjoy their snacks, but close enough that they know each other is getting a snack 😁
