    Dirty tank within 3 days with this food.

    I usually use aquarium tropical fish food, thought I’d try this product. Makes my 2 foot tank dirty within 3 days . I have a good filter too. I don’t over feed either. Water goes mucky green colour. It’s in the bin waste of money. Just my opinion.

    Small flakes big tub

    For this price you are get four times as much as the leading tropical fish food offering. And I am afraid this does come at a compromise. The flake size is small from the start which is a bit of a shame as I expect as I continue down the run it will be more like dust by the end. I would say my fish are slightly eager in their uptake. That said, if you have smaller fish like guppies and tetras the flake size is less important and the tub is good value for money being £10-12 for 200g as opposed to £5 for 50g. I’m glad I tried it but I think I will try another option when it comes to needing more fish food

    Great value for money and the flakes are great for our smaller size fish. We have big ones too which for them we need to buy different flakes as these are too small and aren’t able to feed as well as the smaller ones but still great value for our other fish

    I usually get it from my local garden centre but latey the flakes have bin a bit small so I thought il try you ,bad idea I literally ended up with dust and I mean dust I have bigger fish so it was no good at all ,really don’t understand why it would be thoughn around so much

    My fish love it

    I don’t know about the flavour but the fish seem to like it, as do the cats when they get a chance to put their heads in the pot. The fish are much more active on this food and it doesn”t colour the water. Great value for money, great size flakes for small fish and fry.

    Came cracked and broken

    This item came cracked and broken with no seal. There is usually a silver seal you have to pull off so it’s clearly been opened. Not great

    Great value for money and the fish seem to love it. Doesn’t dissolve or pollute the tank.Took a star off because the flakes had obviously been bashed around and there were lots of it very fine pieces but this didn’t stop the fish eating it.

    Have fed my fish on this for years for sum unknown reason you can’t get a large tub any where locally so straight to Amazon which makes it much cheaper. The delivery was fast and saving money can’t do any better

    Not the best

    Guppies and neons just don’t seem to like it, the flakes are a little large and the lid pushes on and I could see this accidentally coming off so would prefer a screw on lid. Haven’t tasted it myself but if the fish aren’t eating it, I won’t be purchasing again.

    Great for all small fish from shrimp and neon tetra to plec

    This is my go to staple for my tank fish. The tub is small but it’s full of flaked food. The food is wafer thin and no wider than 1cm but can be crumbled between your fingers so it’s great for fry and tiny fish and small parts will go round the tank for shrimp to seek out and clean.I’ve used it in tropical tanks for years and almost any fish you can think of Wil happily eat it. Bottom feeders will also seek it out but because not much gets to the bottom your are better to give bottom feeders their own separate food in addition.This is good value and 1 tub will last ages easily a month or more even with frequent feeding.Good quality and value.     My Platy fish love it!

    I’ve tried several different fish foods, however this is undoubtedly the best, in my humble opinion.The fish love this. It virtually all gets eaten immediately and doesn’t leave the water messy like many other foods do. It also appears to be made of better quality food. More often than not, many fish foods appear to look quite like cereal and just bloat up in the water. This isn’t like that, so stays in its original form much longer.Highly recommended and worth the slight extra cost compared to budget brands.

    Big tub, small flakes

    So, having forgotten I’d slated this product in the past I went and bought it again. I’d rather like to re-review it now. This, my second tub is much better than the first tub. At least I’ve got flakes – not the biggest, but thankfully not just dust this time. I rely on King British products to be of an acceptable quality,, for some reason these big tubs seem to stay just below that quality mark for the size of the flakes. Luckily most of my fish are very small so are happy to have very small flakes.

    value for money

    This good size fish food I have on permanent delivery. Why you ask? Well all my fish like this fish food, its value for money I dont have to panic about running out as its delivered to my front door so no fuel costs for me. It works out at over seven pounds less than my local aquarium provider and hes a good price compared to many. If you have fish that struggle with your present food it may be worth trying this. This is the only food I have ever purchased that doesnt get left to rot on the bottom of the tank by some of my overally fussy fish and the first time I have only had to purchase one food for all rather than to two lots to do the same job.

    Massive pot so will last aWhile .. seemsTo not cloud water and fish do eat it but some fish didn’t like it (guppy) but other wise feeds the others good thanks .

    Superb value for money. Tasty . Not that I’ve eateb them but they smell like they would taste foods. My fish love it. Well I havent asked them but they seem to enjoy it too. It’s amazing what mashed up fish bits and wheat can make. Warning though : Don’t use in an automatic fish feeder as they go very mushy then dry and harden and the feeder stops rotating , as happened to me on a two week holiday. Much to the annoyance of the fish, who died.
