Great Deal for a Pretty Good Screen
The screen is durable and attractive, with a practical protective case that doubles as a stand. Using the USB C connector overheats my laptop (a MacBook Pro), but using the HDMI connector combined with the AC power adapter substantially delays heating up my laptop. All three cords come with the product.It’s slightly inconvenient having to use two cables (HDMI and AC power) versus one (USB C) cable, but an HDMI connection results in a much brighter screen – without adjusting settings. Specifically, white screens look almost sepia tone with a USB C cable.The built in speakers are completely inadequate, but I’m using the product primarily for work so it’s not a huge drawback – especially given it’s size and light-weight portability.

Good option for second screen on a laptop
Got this for my wife to use with her work laptop. It works great, her only complaint is (like others say) the included stand-case is kinda flimsy and will fall down easily if you bump or move the screen. Otherwise no real complaints. Video over USB-C works when Windows wants it to work (when it doesn’t that’s a Windows issue, the screen works fine with most devices), video over HDMI is a nice option for when a Windows laptop doesn’t wanna detect the device.The only reason she might replace it is for a touchscreen device, but for the money this was a great value.

Iโve wanted a travel monitor for a long time and purchased this one on special. Very happy with the purchase- itโs very easy to connect and I like that you can adjust the angle.The only things Iโd warn about are: 1) that the sleeve takes a little getting used to when youโre trying to set it up (I wasnโt holding it carefully and the monitor slipped out of it, and I had to watch an instructional video to figure out how to put it back together), and it needs to be on a sturdy surface, not like a lap desk; and 2) the cords plug into the right side of the monitor and are pretty short, so if you are working with just your laptop and using the keyboard on your laptop as I do, you will have a cord in front of the monitor. The bottom of the monitor screen is about an inch off the work surface, so the cords wonโt block your view, though.Picture quality is good, and it comes with an HDMI cable, so I imagine video is great, though I just use it with a USB cable for boring old spreadsheets and other static work stuff.

Defective cable- excellent customer service
Used it when I first got it since I was working remotely worked fine. Put it in it original box wouldnโt tried it with a Dell, Mac, IPhone and Samsung. Would get no signal and power saving mode and thatโs plugged into the wall. Also tried both ports available including the HDMI. Never could get it to work again. Update- customer service is excellent immediately addressed concern and after troubleshooting sent by FedEx a replacement cable as shown from past purchase product is great and owner stands by their products and has excellent customer support.

I had been considering this purchase for some time and finally decided to buy. I’m sorry I waited so long. I unboxed it, connected it with the USB-C cable to my MacBook and immediately came on as an extended display. I changed the settings to adjust for the screen size and increased the brightness and it was perfect. Excellent picture, easy setup. The most difficult part was figuring out how to configure the protective cover into a stand (which, by the way, it does quite nicely). 100% pleased. Definitely recommend.

I’ve just recently purchased this InnoView Portable Monitor for Laptop, and I’m very satisfied with it, so far. I cannot yet speak to the longevity of this monitor, because I’ve only had it for a few weeks, and I have not yet had occasion to use it for travel, which is the primary reason I purchased it. However, what I can say is that it is a very nice monitor that connects easily to my notebook computer, using two cords provided by the company (using one cord for video and another cord to draw power from my notebook computer). The company also provides a third cord for separate power to the monitor, if needed; I don’t need that, but it’s nice to have. I’d thought I’d be able to just use one cord to connect the monitor to my computer, but I’m fine with the two cord connection. The color, resolution, etc. of the monitor are fine. No problem. It’s not top quality, but for the price it is very reasonable and not a problem at all. What I really like, too, are: the monitor has a matte finish, which is what I wanted, and which I don’t think a lot of monitors have; and that the monitor has a very good protective cover that doubles as a very sturdy monitor stand that provides two different angle positions. In addition, the customer service has been excellent. I’ve had a few small questions, and company representatives have gotten back to me very quickly.

Not ideal but good enough
I was all excited when I read the positive reviews here. I was expecting the provided soft cover/stand solution to work as a stand and not only a cover. It didnโt come close to holding the monitor upright, hence no 5-star rating.It was super easy to connect and start using on both my work Dell laptop & personal MacBook Pro laptop using one USB-C cable. Itโs roughly the same size as both laptops too.With the recent winter power outages I wanted a backup 2nd monitor setup for my laptops to match my docking station powered desk monitors. This does the trick and allows me to be fully portable too in the event I want to work remotely from my home office tooThe resolution isnโt exceptional but itโs fine for my non-gaming, non-graphic design, work needs.Emits a high pitched noise, which isnโt ideal either. Not sure whatโs causing the noise, maybe a tiny fan?Itโs a good value for the under $250 price compared to alternatives.

I love the fact that this monitor is lightweight and portable. The only issue I have is when I connect it to my laptop, it makes a buzzing sound. I know itโs the monitor and not my laptop, because when I disconnect the monitor , the annoying buzzing sounds stops. I bought it to use on my trip to Texas and sued it, however the buzzing sound really gets on my nerves sometimes. I may try using the HDMI cord when I get home to see if it stops. If not, I will have to return it for replacement. My review is getting 4 stars instead of 5 because of the buzzing it makes.

I guess it is a display … with very flawed bells and whistles
It displays things. In HD. Just like it says.But it is pretty wonky beyond that, so buyers beware:- The picture quality is not the greatest. It is “just” HD and some other displays in the house spoil me, but compared to other 1080p displays, this one is underwhelming. It does the job for what I bought it for but that is about it. Otherwise underwhelming- The software is buggy. I assume it is the software actually, maybe it is the hardware. But it glitches on louder or some specific sounds. I have not put my finger to the exact repro yet, but when it hits the specific sound through its speakers: It restarts the display. Wonky to say the least. Interruptive and in some cases blocking (I have a song playing that will constantly put the display into a reboot loop. Now you do not have to use the display for sound, because why would I use the quakers, but it is a feature that you should be aware of to be broken- I have two similar mobile displays. Both who can draw power from my PC through USB3. If I have them both powered through my PC, this one in specific keeps restarting … again … in a loop! Now this may be in part due to my PC not supporting the Power-draw these monitors are hungry for but the reaction of the monitor itelf to it is problematic. Makes the PC unuseful until I unplug at least one of them. Again, wonky and flawed.- The cover is weird. Not sure what the main way to fold it is meant to be, but it folds around more than once and terribly confusing. Again, I have another similar display, which cover is much more standard and logical. Both attach magnetically, but this one confuses me every single time I try to put it on. Also, it overall feels less stable than the other

I find it hard to be productive with just one monitor, and this thing worked great as a second monitor. Easy to setup and use. My one not-pick issue… the usb-c cord is too short to allow me to set the monitor on the right-side of my laptop… but I can always get a longer cord.

Very good for the price
Have been using it for a month already, and I love it. It is great to work with two monitors. It is bright enough to work (normally I use it on 75% of the brightness). Had some issue with the case, to use it as a stand, but after reading the instruction and thinking a little bit I was able to put it to work properly :-). There are some models that cost more, but since I wanted to give a try in having a second screen, and to carry it with me, I looked for a model with a good price and good review, and found this one. And it was a great choice.

This is my 3rd go at trying a portable monitor. The 2 prior werenโt great with connections or the quality just falling flat. This screen is brilliant! The connection is seamless in process, the quality is strong, the picture is quite clear, and it works with my PS5 perfectly. I mainly use it for travel with work and itโs made my life so much easier. For the cost and quality, I highly suggest this product. I also spoke with customer service about the prize you can earn with a card that comes in the box. Customer service is wonderful and so kind. If youโre on the fence, just buy it you won’t regret it.

Good first impression, some imperfections
I just want to start off by saying that I really like this monitor, it has features that I was looking for that are often missing in others.I like that I can use a single USB-C cable to power and display image, so when I plug it into a modern laptop like my MacBook Pro, it’s seamless. I also like that I have the option to use mini-HDMI connector for my older devices that only use HDMI for video. And it comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable for power in case your computer doesn’t come with USB-C. The connectivity on this monitor and the cables provided are very well thought out. My only downside is that I think the cables are slightly too short, especially the USB-A to USB-C cable, as that is the one used for power and should be longer for convenience.One major reason I bought this was that it has VESA mounting capability. I haven’t tried it yet as I’m still waiting for my monitor arm to come, but I just thought it was a major plus to have that option. Will update my review once I’ve given that a try.Another minor thing to be aware of, the bezel around the display is silver but looks white in the pictures. If you have an all-white setup and this is important to you, take it into account, but in my opinion it doesn’t look bad. That also reminds me that I did not like the sticker on the bezel. It comes off easily but leaves adhesive residue that is a bit hard to remove and can ruin the look a bit.

I used to use a 20″inch TV monitor for docking play with my Switch, so when I saw this, I knew I had to buy it!!! It feels like a very large tablet, which makes the portability of it so much easier!!!The magnetic case that comes with it is really awesome too because it works very well as a stad for the monitor.I only have 2 complaints……..(1) For the price, I expected a bit better for the built-in speakers…… don’t even bother using them for audio…. you’re better off using wired headphones/speakers than the built-in speakers. Truly.Even at full volume, the built-in speakers sound like they are not even at 50% volume.(2) Sadly my phone doesn’t register as being usable for video playback on the monitor. The USB C ports are clearly not for smartphone usage (unless I missed something). Of course my phone can charge off the monitor, but it just doesn’t do anything more than that unfortunately.IDK if the monitor has any BT or Wi-Fi capabilities, which would provide another method to possibly connect smartphones to transfer video to the monitor.Thankfully this monitor came with a HDMI to mini-HDMI cord & the wall charger & cord!!!

Excellent second screen for my M1 Macbook Pro!
This monitor is the perfect companion to my macbook pro. Its size and thinness makes it light and easy to add to my bag with macbook. I am learning to code so I put instructional video on the monitor and I practice writting code on my macscreen. The settings on the mac allow me to use this monitor vertically. I am does not support that natively , but the macbook display settings lets me do it, if i need to. Mostly i just use it horizontally like in my picture. No glare on the screen. it works with JUST ONE CABLE connected to my Mac. You need to choose the correct USB-C port on the mac to get full brightness without plugging in the aditional power cord to the monitor. When the port does not provide enough power you will still be able to use it, but brightness will default to level”30″ and that is fine for indoor use. With the correct port on the Mac, the monitor will be able to display full brightness(100). Its truely an economical and quality way to extend your screen real estate! You really don’t need anything more expensive. i have tried others more expensive, and the quality is the same or less. and those monitors are heavier or harder to carry around.Thanks INNOVIEW!

Get it already!
I purchased the silver one to match my HP Envy. It fits in the same bag and looks great. I also purchase a couple of 90 degree USB C adapters. I am not sure what you call them but think of one bending like a knee and the other like an elbow. I wish the cable came that way but understand that its not for everyone. The only gripe I have is that I have to adjust the brightness every time I turn it on or plug it in. Other than that, it is perfect for work and plenty bright.

Great auxiliary monitor
I was working from home during a patch of particularly bad weather when my old monitor died on me. I ordered this one because it could get to me fast and was a good price, and it has turned out to be a total gem! Even our IT guy was impressed with my find, and several of the others in my office have gotten these since seeing mine. We use HP Omen gaming computers for our work, and the IT guy said that these monitors are great for gaming, so they work really well with out computers. The monitor is very slender and fits easily into my laptop bag with all my other stuff. I love that is has a cover to protect it from getting scratched up. The image quality is great and it was plug and go with my laptop.

I like it. Simple and portable to use. I wish they put more emphasize on color selection in buying process. I used my phone to buy. I always saw black in the pictures. However it came grey. Not that impacts how I enjoy, but black would be better to match all of my computers.

This screen is not particularly clear
I tried this portable monitor for a couple of days and then returned it. The screen quality is poor. I wasnโt using it for gaming or viewing videos, although I might have used it for that. I was using it to read documents and they were difficult to read. I watch a YouTube video for what to look for and discovered that there is a big difference between monitors with plastic screens, which this monitor has, and glass screens. I ended up buying this monitor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08778F756?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details. Itโs a ViewSonic and I got the one with a touch screen. I really enjoy the touch screen, because everything else I have has a touch screen and I end up poking needlessly at screens that donโt have it. There is a standard version that gets great reviews too, so if you donโt need touch, you can select that option.

Very helpful portable monitor
Iโm in IT and work remotely or at different locations at my corporate office (no dedicated workspace) so this is very useful and the resolution is better than my old one. My laptop didnโt have enough power for just USB-C connection but this comes with all cords and adapters needed so no issues. I may try this with my phone as well (because weโre often remodeling and shop online – this is a great way to view products on one screen (we use Airplay too)). So far Iโm happy with this purchase.Note to buyers: This monitor has speakers AND a microphone. I was connected to a video call with a Bluetooth headset and was on mute. I scolded my dog for biting my chair and the other people heard me (thankfully I didnโt swear). I@m sure this was my fault with the setting within the call but just to be sure, I turned this feature off, On my Microsoft laptop, I went to Sound Settings > Mange my devices and disabled this device (no effect on the monitor function).

Great Value for the money
Easy to install. Iโm using this as extended monitor for my Surface Pro 8. With computer plugged in, the usb c cable ( included) powers the monitor perfectly. Single cable what could be easier? The color is a little off at start up but I need to spend time learning the adjustments settings. I would recommend and buy again.

Too dim to be useful
On the one hand, this monitor looks beautiful and is a perfect size. The integrated cover/stand is well designed and functions as expected. I read the reviews and a very few reported the issue I experienced–so few, I thought perhaps the users weren’t savvy about something related to the tech. When connecting the monitor to my MacBook Pro USB-C to USB-C the monitor starts at 30% brightness. Increasing the brightness to 90-100% on the indicator didn’t actually increase the visual brightness on the unit. I tested with the laptop plugged in to power and not plugged in without any change in the monitor’s function. Next, I tested whether plugging the monitor into a power source improved brightness. It didn’t. I had to return it. This would have been awesome–great size and weight, clean look, and recognized immediately by my Mac. Unfortunately, the screen was just too dim for what I need and would not adjust to a brighter mode.
