It’s not only cotton
I am very disappointed at the part where they put 100% cotton and never mentioned the polyester lining inside the skirt. I don’t purchase anything with polyester/elastane/spandex etc. at first i was so happy i found the cutest 100% cotton skirt that can use for fall and even summer. But when my order arrived, my expectation has failed ☹️

Skirt runs big but is very cute
It took me 3 different skirts to get the correct size, but the skirt is very cute. My daughter is 4’8” and 70lb. She wore a 7 in this skirt. I will say though, one of the three I ordered had a very poor cut of fabric that ended up with none of the maroon on the front. The other two had a good balance of the colors.

We love this little skirt! It is very well made. The fit is right on or perhaps just a little big. My grand daughter is tiny for her age and normally takes a 5, sometimes a 6. We ordered the 5/6. I love these clothes and so does my grand daughter. Very fast shipping as well.

Child 7yrs almost 8yrs. Tallish. Wears size 7 moving into size 8, 8’s are still a little big.Beautiful design! (The red is like a faded red, like Christmas fleece pajamas) The green and blue plaid are befitting. I like the skirt. Skirt looks kilt like in length, past the knee. Using built in elastic and buttons to make it smaller around the back of the skirt. Will look wonderful @ Christmas, w/ a white pullover sweater, red jacket and black dressy play shoes and maybe a bow on top. Purchased similar skirt before with Hope and Henry, will use this for 2 years.(If I wanted a good fit for this Christmas I would have ordered a size 7)

This is just what I wanted for the holiday season. My daughter can also wear it beyond the holiday season too so it is a practical and classic looking looking skirt for the fall and winter months. I really like Hope and Henry. Their stuff is more reasonably priced as well!

Runs big and long but is pretty.
Wanted a skirt without built in shorts. My daughter is almost 8 and big for her age so Is wearing a 10 in most brands like Kohl’s and Carter’s for example. The 10 in this skirt was huge – width and length, it was pretty and well made and had a nice elastic waist but I didn’t want to deal with exchanging sizes so just returned.

Cute but….
Love this little skirt; from the colors in the plaid to the little belt at the waist. My one complaint, which is why this is a 4 star review and not 5, is that once laundered the pleats do not stay. Even when ironed in; you lose that nice, crisp look that is present at time of purchase. Disappointed with that.
