Well designed, works well
I bought this item thinking it probably did not work well, but at the very low price, I could afford to give it a try. I clean the cloth placemats in a large dining room that has slick plastic-topped tables. This little sweeper works perfectly. I was amazed. The dining room I clean has several types of cloth placemats. This sweeper works best on the thicker, stiffer cloth placemats. Even the placemats with grooves where the crumbs can settle in are easy to clean. I was really amazed at that! In fact, the placemats with little grooves make it easier to sweep up the crumbs — the crumbs don’t scoot away. On thin cloth placemats I have to hold the placemat with one hand and use the sweeper in the other hand and only sweep in one direction. Otherwise the sweeper tends to bunch up the thin cloth placement on the slick tables.The sweeper picks up larger crumbs the quickest and smaller crumbs can take a couple of swipes across the placemat. Small specks of finely ground black pepper (not the ground peper you grind at the table with a pepper mill) that are stuck on a placemat can be difficult. Most black pepper will come off a placemat along with all other crumbs with a few swipes back and forth across a placement. But often there will be one or two specks of finely ground black pepper that will not be dislodged. They don’t come up with my little table broom either, I need to use my finger to dislodge those tiny specks of finely ground black pepper.I think the sweeper works so well because the stiffness and length of the bristles are just right for its task.The sweeper comes apart easily for cleaning. I just take it apart and hold it under running water. Perfect.A surprise good purchase.

The value for the money was ok. I thought the plastic on the crumb catcher was not as sturdy as ones I purchased in the past. They do pick up crumbs but won’t last long.

This table sweeper works great. This little brush even picks up tiny specks. It’s incredible.It did not expect it to work so well.Amazon did ship it in the same box with heavy tools I had ordered at the same time, but it arrived unharmed, and it works great. I bought a few of them.

Touches up my office carpet
This little thing is admittedly kind of flimsy, but it works very well for my purposes. I work in a tiny office with low pile carpet that gets a lot of traffic. The house-keeping staff doesn’t vacuum often, so this little thing helps me touch up my carpet in between clients. It makes a huge difference! So handy that it doesn’t require a power source and is tiny enough to fit in my desk drawer. I recommend emptying it after every use.

For a surprisingly easy and fun way to quickly “brush away a mess”
I really don’t want to push this item simply out of selfishness on my part because I don’t want the price to go up due to popularity, but I have not enjoyed cleaning small spills of birdseed or crumbs on the carpet or debris in a car more! This nifty fun device is easy to use and efficient! Be gentle opening it, although nothing ever broke with the side latch, it looks like if you were rough or didn’t have the patience to unlatch the little clamp thing on the side of the unit to empty the debris contents it might break. It never has with me, but I can think of a stronger “clampy-thing”. Other than that tiny detail, I just love the sweeper like crazy. it’s really fun to use and you’d really be surprised how much tiny little particles it can pick up! It really is a MUST for the car or whatever room where things end up on the floor. It works best on fabric and carpets that are low-pile. Burbur or office carpeting should run for the hills, for instance. It’s really worth getting!

Perfect for kindergarten clean up
I use this in my kindergarten classroom. Since Covid we eat in our classroom and I was tired of crumbs everywhere on the tables and carpets. We did a quick explanation on this hand sweeper in the beginning of the year when we learned classroom routines and all I have to do now is point out an untidy space anytime during the day and they are on it! Last year I would lug out a vacuum and do a quick clean but no more! I love this so much I recommended it to another teacher who bought several as well.This is easy to open and dump out the garbage but I do find that some wet ingredients stick to the bristles. I just haven’t had time to give it a soak to see if I can loosen.

Sweeps up a messy classroom floor
I got these to replace some other little roller vacuums that were lost for my classroom. The students love to clean the floors with these! I’ve been using them for about 3 weeks now and they are working great. I am a little nervous that they might snap off the little clip on the end while opening or closing it, but so far so good.

Works well
Works well to pick up bread crumbs or other food particles off of the dining room table or table cloth. You do have to go over the same area a couple of times, but that should be expected. It’s not a vacuum cleaner so the brush has to hit the crumbs just right to pick them up.

Great little item!
I just love this little crumber. My mom used to have one and when I saw they still sold them, I was thrilled. I know it’s just a little thing in the grand scheme of life (!), but it’s just one less thing I have to do – no more daily drips outside to shake out the table cloth! Just wipe the sweeper back and forth over the “crumby” areas, and voila! It picks them up beautifully every time. Emptying the crumbs is easy, too. A must-have if you are a tablecloth user.

Excellent for picking up crumbs/hair from an industrial or office building carpet!
Throughout the work day, I’ll eat one or two handfuls of peanuts at work, in shell.As anyone who eats peanuts will attest, you get “crumbs” from every part of the peanut organism. Bits of shell fall on the ground if you miss the garbage can, the skins can get loose and fall on the ground, the meat of the nuts themselves can fall, etc. Since I’m unsure as to whether or not there’s a regular vacuuming service provided by my new institution, I wanted something easy and cheap to use. After looking through several of these types of products, I got one because it was 3$ and an add-on with Amazon Prime.I’m satisfied with the purchase. As others have noted, you do have to push down but just a little bit, but for my purposes, that’s totally fine since I’m using it to get peanut shells/skins/small crumbs off the carpet under my desk, and not using it on a nice table or tablecloth.The device also picks up hairs, inadvertently or not. Because the bristles are tough, it’s picked up hairs from the previous tenant of my office. The hairs don’t get swept into the holding reservoir, but sort of hang out on/in the bristles until I remove them. Small price to pay though.Cheers!

I had one of these many years ago, don’t know where it is so when I saw this, I had to try it. So much easier to use it rather than removing the table cloth (and napkin holder and salt and pepper shakers,etc) to shake crumbs off. Works well. Easy to open and empty

The best “budget rat poop sweeper” I’ve found
THE BEST small critter pet poop sweeper, for “no noise” situations. We use this for cleaning a cage for 2 rat’s worth of poop, seeds, shells, and assorted debris out of our rat cage. It’s huge (Midwest- Critter Nation), but not big enough to easily use a hand vac, and we don’t want to disturb the poor guys.10 seconds of swiping with this picks up literal piles of discarded food, and grabs all the poops (aka “ratty raisins”) around. Easy to snap open and dump, then disinfect. Our one knock is that the tabs to clasp it seemed… backwards- and that broke in 3 days, so it’s held shut by hand. no biggie, this thing is THE BEST

I really like to use this, especially for all the crumbs on carpet, when we have kids over. I bought two and give one each to a kid and let them at it. It is easy to use and effective. Great for crumbs, even chunky large crumbs, like broken cheerios or goldfish (but not whole pieces which are too big). It also brushes up hair, so every now and then stops turning because of caught hair. If hair is tightly wound around the brush, you have to unroll or cut hair out. Otherwise great buy. Plus points: More quiet than a vacuum. No need for electricity. Fast. Efficient. At least until you can pull out the vacuum. Easy to clean out and use over and over. And Portable. I gifted it to a friend and she keeps one in her diaper bag for when she needs to clean a mess while out and about. Would highly recommend and buy again.

Nostalgic, fun crumb grabber. Don’t over-expect, though.
My mother-in-law had one identical to this one, and everyone always wanted to have the fun of sweeping crumbs off the table!It does a pretty good job of getting them off of a table cloth. Its not magic, and you have to be a little gentle with it, but it will clear most crumbs with a few passes. Not for anything moist or sticky. Just dry crumbs. A cool little solution for getting crumbs off the tablecloth without having to remove it.

Cheaply Made
It works OK for crumbs on the carpet but not so good on bare floors or tabletops. The first time I opened it to empty it, the little tab on the side broke off so now it’s taped together. Not very good for the price. I probably could have found the exact same item at the dollar store.

Really great for quick crumb clean-up
This is a great tool for cleaning up my cloth tablecloth and placemats before the tablecloth needs to be changed out. It brushes up the crumbs with little effort and empties really easily, too. I’ve found that lifting the leading edge just a bit helps the brush sweep up the crumbs much more easily. This works much better than my hand-held vacuum on my cloth tablecloth.

Hard plastic wheels
I like these things, but was disappointed that they have hard plastic (ribbed) wheels. You have to push down hard on a shiny surface to get enough friction on the wheels for them to turn the brush.I am worried they will damage my wooden table.I would have liked them to have a soft rubber tire.

This resistance makes it hard for it to pick anything up. Addendum: After several months of usage, the rollerportion now works well. I guess it needed some time to “break in.” Pleased with the product.

Very Disappointing
I have two Fluppis that I’ve had for close to two decades and I love them. I wanted one more – for my kitchen rug. I decided to give this brand a try. Right from the start it felt plasticky and cheap (Fluppi’s are plastic, but they don’t feel like this.) Anyway, The first, and only, time I used it it didn’t do a great job. It did pick up some crumbs, but not nearly as well. When I opened it to clean it out I discovered that one of the wheels wasn’t attached to the shaft (removed entirely for photo purposes as this was the only way to show it wasn’t attached.) I got a refund.A funny aside: The embossed instructions say “PUSH TO OPEN.” You need to pull. 😉

Okay, but could be better
Purchased this as a gift, and it was a hit. However, the product does look very dirty after months of use, and there is no good way to clean it beyond dumping out the crumbs and rinsing it with water, which the bristles do not like. I wish this was more thoroughly cleanable so that it would be usable for a longer period of time. Otherwise, the bristles should be dark colored so they do not look so gross.

Very Useful
This is great for getting crumbs off of an otherwise clean tablecloth. We use this all the time and is actually fun to use- very satisfying! The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that when it arrived, it had a scratch on it. Otherwise, very very satisfied and if it ever breaks or needs to be replaced, I will order it again.

Easy to use though not useful
While the product is simple to use the crumbs are picked up sporadically and although I went over crumb area repeatedly crumbs remained
