Perfect solution
I ordered this for my parents as their refrigerator has never had a water source for an ice maker. In the past they have bought ice and stores it in their freezer but as they have gotten older it is to hard to travel to the store to drag home large ice bags!This product is the answer!! Worked surprisingly well and they had ice very quickly. The size of the large cubes are perfect! My only complaint is that it didn’t come with any kind of instruction booklet or information sheet at all. This wasn’t a huge issue for me but my parents wouldn’t have been able to look it up online.

Great value, great convenience!
Very efficient, but realize this feature. This is NOT a refrigerated unit. It does not keep ice cold. So, the ice that you don’t immediately consume melts back down into the fill reserve and makes more ice…the unit never stops running! You need to use what you make right away or store what you’ve made in your freezer.

Pretty good machine
I bought this unit in June of 2021 when we bought a new refrigerator that only came with one ice maker because the refrigerator couldn’t keep up with our demand. This ice maker that we bought, is beginning to not work. I have to turn it off and back on again, pull the plug to reset it and get it going again. But in all fairness we run this machine for at least 5 hours every day since we had it. Unfortunately the hinge inside the maker has broken and now it can’t scoop the ice out so I have to manually help it. The motor does tend to get a bit warm and you have to make sure the area with the fans aren’t blocked. I don’t feel like it makes quite as much ice was advertised, but it does make a good amount for our family of 5. I am seriously considering buying the same one again because it lasted 2 years and 4 months. I wish it would have made it to 3. But overall it does what it needs to. Just be sure to clean it by running some vinegar in it once in a while and clean off the dust on the fan blades & it should last a while. It is not a bad price for what it is. It is definitely better than buying ice from the store. 🙂

Getting lots of ice from this countertop model.
We fire it up for 2 to 3 hours a couple of times a week. It gives us plenty of ice. It runs constantly during that 2 hours, so you can definitely hear the motor. The chamber is not frozen so once a tray ice drops, we try to move cubes into the freezer right away. The large-cube setting gives nice cubes, so this model is a decent alternative to the fussy built-in refrigerator icemakers.

Good unit, reasonable price
These units work well. Had a Della brand for a long time, and made tons of ice. Finally wouldn’t turn on, not sure what happened, so bought another one. Evidently these are made, and branded for different companies. It has worked perfectly. Very reasonable cost wise. I would recommend it.

Great Product
I wasn’t to sure on how well this would go, but I am pleasantly surprised! We go through ice like crazy and no ice maker at home. This works great, quickly makes a decent amount of ice, has a basket to be able to fill coolers, and has a continuous button so if you need to fill big items or are having a party you don’t have to worry about running out and then having to wait. Super easy to clean also.Definitely worth the money.

It’s fast, easy to operate , wish I had one sooner . Great machine , it’s heavy ,and big , l store it on a small stool under the table and just pull it out to use it. That way it’s not taking up counter space and I don’t have to move it either . Works great .

Solid machine
I used this machine for about a year. It makes good ice at a frequent rate, but there’s a few things I struggled with.The ice melts faster than normal freezer made ice because it’s made instantly in the machine. It is a bit noisy, but it’s not too loud. The ice was worth it to me.After a few months it seemed to constantly get moldy, I would take the parts out and clean it the best I could but there are really small nooks that I could only clean with a tooth pick. No matter how frequently I cleaned it, the mold was stuck in parts of the machine I couldn’t reach. I’ve recently seen they make liquid cleaners you can run through the machine to internally wash out any bad stuff. I wasn’t aware of this at the time, and I had to throw it away because of how bad the mold was. This is something whoever owns this should keep in mind!Overall I love ice, and this was something I loved and relied on for a long time.

Poorly made plug drain missing
I’m updating this as I received the plug but it did take a couple of weeks to get it. – I liked it but it’s very difficult to open the little drain plug at the bottom because it sticks and seems (plug) cheaply made. I noticed the piece that, I’m assuming, surrounded it, small rubber piece (?) Is missing so I can’t plug the drain plug in to use. Used it about a dozen times, only at parties. Plug was very cheaply made and had difficulty opening it and now it’s gone. Must fell off And now unable to use machine due to one cheaply made plug part. I went to contact manufacturer it says call us (phone number is nothing but X’s) , email us (no address) , chat (says press chat button but there isn’t any). I finally was able to contact them, somehow (I don’t remember how I found a way to contact, but I did). They said they would send me the part. I received it a couple of weeks later.

Good Bargain and Essential for Big Parties
The ice-maker in our freezer never worked right and we’ve given up on it entirely. I finally bought this countertop one for the holidays. I used it for a couple of parties since then and it has worked great! I let it sit upright for a day before using it.The cubes (bullets) are not as hard frozen as ice cubes made in a freezer. I preferred to make the ice ahead of time and store them in ziploc bags laid flat in the freezer to harden them some more. Later I shook the bags to break up any that froze together. A gallon ziploc bag holds almost 3lbs of the small cubes. It filled up 3 1-gallon bags from 1 tank of water in under 2 hours, but I just let it run and removed cubes when it was full and haven’t timed it exactly.The loudest sound it makes is when it tips the new cubes into the tray. I didn’t run it during parties but I don’t think it would be very noticeable running in the background.

Kismile Sent Full Refund for Screaming Machine
Edited 12/14/23- I contacted Amazon and they referred me to the seller – Kismile Direct, rather than the AGLucky Brand website where no one responded. After leaving a one star review on Amazon, Kismile contacted me via email and offered a full return of the purchase price and extended warranty. I looked at hundreds of reviews and they all appear to be the same. The home ice machines with the lower purchase price, just don’t hold up over time. That being said, I love my ice, so I ordered another one to replace the refunded one. Here’s hoping this one lasts a bit longer.Original Review – To be clear, I LOVE this ice maker. It makes me so happy that my family teases me about it. HOWEVER, recently it has started making a high pitch screaming noise after a couple hours of use. I have cleaned it regularly and let it defrost for 24 hours+, but when I turn it on, it runs perfectly for an hour or two and then starts wailing like I haunted spirit, scaring my dogs. I have contacted AGLUCKY multiple times for warranty with no response, not even an auto-generated “We received your communication”. They do not have an email address, phone number or chat option on their service department, just a form you fill out and send out into the ether. I still have 6 months left on the warranty and this is very disappointing customer service.

BEST PURCHASE EVER!!!!
I love, love, love this ice maker for my own personal use!!!It is perfect for what I wanted. I eat ice 24/7. The ice is frosty, soft and easy to chew. It works as advertised and is simple to use. However, to take full advantage you must remove and store batches of ice, as only a small amount will fit into the built in container. I would not recommend buying this machine for parties- I do not think it could keep up with demand- but for personal use it’s fabulous!!!!

Love it
Ice maker on the fridge quit working. We got this to replace the unit. It runs like a champ and had been able to keep up with our needs. Very happy with it so far.Only real issue can be the sensor thinking the basket is full because the ice tends to bunch up when it’s dumped. But if you keep your eye on it, it’s a winner.

Great for small spaces
I really wanted one of these since I live in an apartment with a fridge that does not have an ice maker. I ended up returning because my daughter bought me one for Christmas. Only draw back was that if you don’t use the ice it melts, which is fine, but I thought it would keep the ice cold longer. You still need to empty it and put in the freezer. Overall I would definitely recommend

Worked fairly well.
Overall, the ice maker did what it was supposed to do. It would make ice in about 9 minutes. There were a few shortcomings however. The bullet style ice does not last as long as a cube in a drink. The ice maker tended to dump all the ice in one spot where it piled up against the sensor, and prevented any more ice from being made, even though there was plenty of room for more ice. The ice maker was a little noisy, but not obnoxious. The machine lasted about a year and then failed due to a plastic gear that broke, and prevented the ice from being dumped into the tray. I decided to try another ice maker rather than replace the broken one with the same model.

Product is fine for what it does
This item did everything as described however I ended up sending the product back because it didn’t fit my personal needs. This item is great if you are having a small get together but if you need ice on a much larger scale this will not help. It takes too much work and I could never get ahead (my family uses a lot of ice).Don’t hesitate to buy, just know what you are getting before you do

You have to fill it with water constantly. The ice melts inside tray
I love this for ease of use and I like that the ice is “soft” easy to chew. It is a tad bit loud at times but tolerable. The ice melts back into the water container and it is a constant process of making ice and it melts and it makes more. I place the ice in a ziplock bag in the freezer and break it on the counter before pouring it into an ice tray. If not, the ice cubes freeze into a block.

We love making craft cocktails at home. We have all the bells and whistles except fresh, clean-tasting ice! Our fridge ice was kind of onion-smelling so I wanted to invest in an ice maker to use with our reverse osmosis water from the sink.Yes, the ice is small but if you are hosting and have this thing going – you will have great tasting ice for your cocktails all night! Some people are complaining that the ice melted quickly but I disagree. As long as you aren’t relying on this ice for a cooler or a huge punch bowl, it will last in your cocktail just fine, promise!

Nice for the money

Freezer ice maker went out and this to the rescue!
This is perfect for crunchy, edible ice. Freezer ice maker went out and love eating ice so this gave me the best of both worlds. I wish the new was a way to fill both sides of the basket as it will fill the one side and say it’s full while the other side of the basket is empty. It can also be noisy at times but power off, let it sit and then power on and it fixes itself. It has to do with the ice built up and how is crushes it- the friction at times is noisy when something is a a bit “off.” I hope it last because for the price it is well worth it!

I purchased this AGLUCKY countertop ice maker almost 4 months ago. I live in a small lakeside cottage and the kitchen doesn’t allow for a refrigerator large enough to contain an ice maker. Keeping up with ice cube trays, especially when entertaining, was a challenge I was just done with. I also don’t have a lot of counter space but since this unit has a fairly small footprint, I was willing to at least test sacrificing counter space in exchange for giving up ice cube trays.When I bought this, it was on sale. Even so, I hesitated to purchase it because several 1-star reviews stated it stopped working after 30 days and customer service was non-existent. Seeing several of the same 1-star complaints is always a red flag to me. But – Because of the price and because of my total annoyance with ice cube trays I took the plunge. I am happy to say that almost 4 months in and we are still going strong. I use this regularly 1 -2 times a week. I fill it and make a full “batch” of ice cubes and when done, I leave the lid open to dry out and unplug the unit until I need it again.The ice cubes are very wet so if used directly out of the machine they are not long-lasting cubes and if placed directly into an ice bin in the freezer they become a big clump. To avoid this, I keep a gallon zip lock bag in my freezer and each time the basket is full of ice, I empty it into the bag and lay it flat in the freezer. When the next batch is ready I shake the bag to break up the cubes, dump them into the ice bin and repeat the process. One complete fill of water in the ice maker makes enough ice to fill the ice bin in my freezer. When I have the amount of ice I need, I open the lid and unplug the unit until next time. While the whole zip lock bag process may sound involved to some, to me it still beats dealing with ice cube trays. I unplug the unit only because that is the manufacturer recommendation for my Vitamix and it just makes sense to me to not run electronics when not in use for long periods of time.The “cubes” are only about 1/3 the size of a regular ice cube. The size is nice for filling water bottles and for cocktails. And yes, it really does make ice cubes within the promised 9 minutes. Of course, it isn’t a great number of cubes but is ice in 9 minutes as advertised.I am very very happy with my purchase and have recommended it to several of my friends. I would definitely buy again.

Efficient producer, imperfect storage
This product is good but not perfect. It produces ice quickly and efficiently. But we empty the ice to a ziptop bag and store it in the freezer. Because the ice is wet on the surface, it clumps and has to be broken up to be useful. Would I buy it again? Yes. Is it a good deal? Yes. Is it a tad bit frustrating? Yes.

Make ice quickly!
This is a good little ice machine. The size of the ice is perfect. We like the larger size it creates. It’s easy to clean and easy to use. You place the water in the water reservoir and it starts making ice in 7 minutes. My only complaint is that the ice doesn’t stay very cold and it melts quickly. The noise is loud but it works for what we need. My son eats ice all day long and this machine meets the demand.

Great ice maker, quick too
We love this ice maker. The well holds a lot of water so we’re not constantly having to add water to it. The turn around time is really quick. The ice is made in less than 5 minutes, the size and shape are perfect. They’re not too thick and not too thin. It keeps the ice frozen for a long time too. When the ice does melt, it just drains through the bottom of the basket back into the well and cycles all over again. We use bottled water in ours and so far we haven’t had to clean it, I’m sure if you use regular tap water you’d have to clean it by now, but the directions seem easy enough to follow to clean it.If you’re in the market for an ice maker or a new one, I highly recommend this one.

I’m so glad I purchased this icemaker. Exactly what I was looking for. Very easy to use and the clean feature is great. Once the ice is made though you need to use it right away or put in your freezer. The top area where the ice is located doesn’t stay cold enough for storage and the ice will melt.

Great little ice maker, Even though the cubes are not large it does do a good job of keeping you supplied with ice cubes you get about a small palm full with every serving and it takes about nine minutes give or take to make a batch what I like about it is you fill the reservoir and you can walk away and not have to worry about it it automatically senses with the basket is full and will shut down when it senses the basket getting lower it automatically begins producing more ice. The only thing you need to keep is the water level which does last very long time, the ice that melts does drain into the reservoir. for the money it is a great little unit.

It makes ice fast!
For years I wanted a counter top ice maker and finally decided on this model after pouring over numerous reviews. This small compact machine makes 9 bullet cubes under 10 minutes. Two settings for small and large cubes which I think is pointless as the Large cubes are small to begin with. When the basket gets full the machine alerts you in the display. I then just bag the cubes and place in my freezer. The cubes are wet and due tend to stick. The main reason I bought this machine is to bag my own ice prior to storms or outing’s. As mentioned the cubes are small and melt faster than regular ice trays. All in all in happy with this purchase.

Awesome counter top ice maker.
We have it in our RV. It’s fast and fully automatic, just pour the water in. Makes small or large cubes. It does make a little noise when new cubes are created and transferred into the access hopper, so we turn it off at night. This is an awesome product if you don’t have a regular ice maker in your frig.

I don’t mean to grip, but the Assurant plan sold to me was based on the price of the item ($129), but when the item (Ice maker) failed, they only refunded the purchase price ($99.99).But I was sold a plan for $125-$149.99.So, I’m not sure what I was sold a more expense plan when they would only refund an amount that was less.I called both Assurant Customer Support and Amazon, and they just pointed fingers at each other.And I was left with no answers.Other than that, they are both great Companies.Thanks for listening…

This works as advertised so far.
Took this on RV trip, made ice every night for a week to keep ice chest cold. Not sufficient enough to make a lot of ice, but it did help keep from buying ice. (be mindful of turning it off at night.) one listens to it dump ice 2X and causes one to go transfer to cooler or freezer.

Heap alternative to refrigerator repair
Our icemaker in our refrigerator works intermittently. Whether than pay over $100 for a repair visit that may or may not work, we decided to get this one. With only two of us we only run it at the end of the day and save what we don’t use. It works fast and we have ice in no time

Good product.
I didn’t read a ton about these before purchasing. I think this product is good- and I am glad I bought it. However I think from what I have gathered since, countertop ice makers aren’t as perfect as we would like. You have to get the ice out after it is made, or it just melts and then you keep waiting for more. Also, when you get the ice out and put it in the freezer, it is wet (which I know sounds silly) but it refreezes at a lower temp in your freezer and becomes a clump. I keep an ice pick and scoop in the container I dump into the freezer. It would be more annoying if that wasn’t there. It is what it is. If you need ice- it works.

Works well
Love the ice! I thought the ice would be tough even in the small setting, but it’s actually soft enough to chew like nugget ice. I use a pretty large Yeti and a whole basket of small ice fits in it with a few pieces sticking out of the top. Definitely one of my favorite big money buys.

Has no cleaning cycle
This ice maker is a good size for the countertop. Smaller than my previous one. It is also very fast at making ice cubes. The noise level is low-moderate, quieter than my last one but you definitely know its on. I can’t speak for longevity as I have only had it one month. Despite what the description says, it absolutely does NOT have a cleaning cycle and nothing in the owners manual indicates that there is a cleaning cycle.

Still works after years
Have had zero issues with this ice maker. Any ice maker like this isn’t going to produce the coldest/strongest ice cubes because they are made so quick, but you can always bag them up and put them in a freezer for a few hours and it will really solidify them.

Rapid ice
Got this for my wife for Christmas was delivered as promised, works really fast makes ice about every 3 to 5 minutes. Ice is not as hard as from your freezer but if your an ice muncher like me, they are perfect.

It melts
It does make ice. It doesn’t keep it chilled so the ice melts down back into the water reservoir to do the ice making process again.The circle of ice..But if you like to chew on ice, these ice dots are nice. Not too hard to break your teeth 🙂
