    Great scissors if only a couple parts would hold up better.

    The scissors are awesome, but the springs will wear out and break far before any other part, and the locking mechanism tends to slide down while you’re using them and then get broken when you close them and become un lockable so they’re open all the time.

    Precision shears

    These shears work great for preparing flowers for arrangements, and they’re also good for deadheading. Comfortable handles, with narrow blades make these shears comfortable to use. They seem to be a good quality item, just as I’ve come to expect from Fiskars.

    Just the right tool to snip off dead flower heads, stray stems, etc. Quick snip and it’s done. Since the tool is quite small, it’s easy to fit in between the stems of other flowers. Love it.

    These Clippers are OUTSTANDING for Gardening and in the House

    I LOVE LOVE LOVE these clippers!! I have never gotten crazy over a review before but I like these seemingly little nothings of a clipper are just so easy to use, so sharp and so versatile; so much that I would give them 10 stars if I could. I have 2 pair and my husband now wants one.I keep one pair with the obvious, my gardening tools, where they are so useful for trimming spent flowers and dead leaves. They are small and compact; the short blades make it easy to reach a specific stem.I keep my second pair in the kitchen where these clippers have come in handy for numerous jobs from cutting and chopping fresh basil to, opening packages, trimming loose threads, trimming houseplants and removing tags from new garments.As you can see these small, sharp, easy to hold and use clippers are a very useful item to have whether for the garden, kitchen or sewing box. I am considering buying a third pair for my sewing machine gear.

    I have regular size pruners but these are smaller and easier for pruning smaller size plants. I’m glad to have them in my tool bucket.

    Absolutely love these!I’m an etsy shop owner and always crafting but I have tiny baby hands so usually scissors aren’t comfy for me. But these are awesome! So sharp and precise! I also love the blade cover so my mom brain can relax a bit better with the safety locks in mind! 10/10

    I Didn’t Really Realize how Much I Needed These

    I bought this pair and didn’t realize that I would almost never again walk out into my garden without them. These things are sharp and precise and an absolute necessity in the garden. I have actually given a couple of pairs to friends and neighbors when they were admiring how nice they are and I will definitely always own a set of these. Highly recommended and will definitely buy them again.

    Precise and Sharp

    I love these so much that I bought each of my adult daughters ones as stocking stuffers.One star removed because the locking orange piece fell off immediately and I could not get it to stay on thereafter. So now they are in a constant open position. Fortunately I can store them in my potting shed basket where they shouldn’t be a danger to anyone accidentally.

    Very shape but a bit cheap

    We’re in the garden a lot during the growing season deadheading, pruning, etc. I always have a pair of snips in my pocket. The last pair I had had lived a good life but they needed replaced. I got these to replace the old ones. These little guys are sharp which is a good thing. But the plastic latch that holds them closed is really cheap. In fact after a couple days use, one of the latches broke off. Super disappointed considering I always have a pair with me. Now the rubber cap they came with holds them closed, but I have to be careful not to lose it.

    Great little snips

    I love Fiskars products and these snips are exactly what I needed for dead heading. My bypass pruners were just too big and bulky to remove spent flower heads from little stems.These are sharp and solid. I do tend to accidently slide the safety lock on while I’m using and I think the design on this portion can be improved to prevent this but overall I’m very satisfied.

    I love these little clippers for deadheading my flowers. After a few days of use they don’t open and close as easily as when I had first got them and are a little resistant to locking. Wish they had better longevity.

    Great snips for pruning small stems

    I wouldn’t use them for thick or woody stems but they work well for trimming small stems in my vegetable garden. Small and lightweight but well made and sturdy.

    Cap needs a place to park on the pruner itself and locking mechanism also needs to be re-designed.

    I thought when I saw the picture, that the cap would fit on the handle since you don’t always have pockets to put the cap in. Nope. When you’re busy with branch refuse, it’s too easy to lose discernment between a branch and a cap that’s in your hand. I did some February pruning here in Iowa today. I have no idea when I dropped the cap, but I think is when I dropped my first handful of clippings to the ground. When I got to the house, I patted all my pockets and didn’t find it anywhere. I retraced my steps and found it lying in the snow by the hydrangea bush I was pruning.How hard would it have been to design the handle to accept the cap? They are so close in design.Also, the locking mechanism stopped working from the day I first used the shears, so the cap is the only way I can ensure safety. If I lose the cap, I’m sunk.

    Friskeers well the name reminds me of cat food but scizzors well they go. Do not run around the fishers without shoes cause one time I wen kick em and I never seen where they went but 10 mins later there was luiquid plastic all over the ground and I was likestinking whiskers and sure enough the buggahs was stuck right threw the bottle I was like nahhhh

    Great sharp scissors. I did manage to break the clips that hold the blades together. Make sure you keep the blade protector, I use that now to keep them closed.

    very sharp and do the job, but lock wear easily

    These are very sharp and do the job, which I love. I was disappointed that after only a week, the locking mechanism had already just ‘worn’ down, the sliding lock that goes up and down. The locking piece under the orange slide, is made of plastic, and it completely wore down, so they don’t lock anymore. I keep the guard on them when not in use, which keeps the handles together now. Overall great for the garden, they need to redesign the locking piece.

    Very sharp and so very, very useful!

    We use these for pruning garden plants and picking fruit without damaging the plant. My son and I both carry these pruners while working in the garden. I suggest some kind of heavy sheath for carrying them since the tip is so sharp. With an appropriate sheath, you don’t really need to lock them between uses. Warning! Putting them in a pocket can be very painful. As others say, the lock is plastic and even if it doesn’t break, locking and unlocking gets to be frustrating after a while.I also have the smaller size that most people seem to use on fabric and crafting that I bought for snipping threads when sewing. I now keep a pair in a kitchen drawer and use them most every day for opening packets, taking the plastic safety guard off the top of bottles and to open the seemingly endless number of medications that now have to be sold in blister packs. I have arthritis in my hands and opening one of those is next to impossible. They are also handy for cutting those irritating carriers from 6 packs of soda and other beverages. I can never get all 6 bottles out of the pack without resorting to scissors. A bonus, the bright orange handles make them easy to identify in the drawer.

    Small gripping clipper

    I wanted a clipper to prune my herb garden. These work well. Are not heavy and easy to use, my hands are weakening from arthritis so my older shears were cumbersome. I gave a 4 star because scissor end could have been a bit more substantial. Other than that I am satisfied with purchase.

    These are definitely the best brand when looking for sharpness and overall longevity. They will snip used rose buds off with ease and no chance for an uneven tear resulting in disease. The name speaks for itself in cutting and longevity of equipment. They arrived fast and price well via Prime.

    I very much like the fiskars line of scissors! These hold up very well of used with wet material. Steady in the hand. I rarely find something I cannot cut ( within reason ). They cut every time.     Great for trimming house plants

    Very happy with purchase

    I wanted something light weight and small since my hands are smaller then an average adult. I like that they are pointed so i can cut exactly the piece i want. I use it in my flower beds to remove dead leaves mostly. It does cut through rose stems- but the plants arent super mature. It’s easy to squeeze- i have problems with arthritis in my wrists and these are easy for me to use. I keep the cover on when they are not in use because it is sharp. I thought the color would annoy me, but it’s actually helpful because you can find it easy when it stands out in a garage full of stuff. Overall, its easy to use, durable, user friendly, and good for small hands. Im pleased.
