Easy to use and remove weeds
I like this tool a lot. It helps pulling weeds much easier than to use my fingers or a small shovel tool. It is also pretty easy to use and easy to clean-up.

Great for crabgrass and other weeds
I have been very surprised at the sturdiness and comfort of using this tool. At first, I thought the prongs were a little too big, but they really do the trick with much less effort. I would definitely buy this tool again.

Makes Pulling Weeds Less Tedious
I have yet to meet an individual that enjoys pulling weeds, yet it remains one of those tasks you just have to do if you wish to maintain a nice yard. At first glance I did not expect much with this product, yet I put my faith in the brand name and sided with the numerous great reviews. I am glad I did, because this garden tool makes weeding so much easier and faster. And I could see this being a great gift for someone who has trouble pinching their fingers together (which is the standard basic method of weeding).

Good tool
I have never been disappointed with a Fiskars tool. This one is aluminum but very sturdy and would take decades to wear down (with my useage). I’ve had stainless steel trowels that separated at the handle so that is no assurance of durability. There was a temporary price reduction so I jumped on this. I like have multiple hand trowels around so it’s convenient to use. Recommended!

Works ok.
Not really a revolutionary product that transforms the weeding process. But makes it a bit easier and spares the twisting and tugging involved with the manual process.

Great inexperience tool
We bought a new home for the 13th or so time in the nearly 26 years we’ve been married. I love to renovate she loves to decorate. It’s a bit too much now that I’ll be 50 this year. Since we always look for savings AND quality, not cheap, this fits all the crap we’ve bought over the years. We’ve bought our forever home and she’s been planting amazing landscaping for months now. This shovel handles her roughness on tools great. Great product.

Works fine, but it’s not pretty
The product works fine for moving small amounts of dirt and digging small holes. It’s sturdy and does the job. However, mine came discolored and scuffed up. At first I thought that I was sent a used item, but upon closer inspection it just appears to be subpar craftsmanship. I wouldn’t mind so much if the product shown in the advertised picture was also discolored and scuffed up.

Awesome!
Does a splendid job getting under foliage and gripping the stem to pull up the roots. Tines are sharp and really help reduce effort. Angled shaft is well designed to apply leverage. Really a nicely thought out tool and worth the money if you do even a few hours a year of gardening or landscaping.

I’ve Got a Fiskars Garden Weeder and I’m Not Afraid To Use It!
This is exactly what it says it is – a Weed Puller. What it doesn’t say is that “It’s An AMAZING Weed Puller!” Believe me, I know. So very simple to use. Tuck it under the leaves of the weed and press down on the handle and the weed pops up. I buy gadgets – lots of them – always looking for the “better/easier” way. This is it. Buy one – see for yourself

Right tool for the job
I researched several weeding tools, but since I have a small 400 square foot yard, I went with this hand tool. I was able to quickly and early remove a ton of weeds from my yard with minimal disruption to the grass, and most importantly the weeds did not come back! I love finding the right tool for the job that works and doesn’t take up too much space.

Great little spade/trowel
I really like Fiskar’s products and this little garden spade is no exception. The finish on the blade is nice in that the dirt doesn’t seem to cling to it as badly as with the spade I replaced which makes it easy to clean up. Also, it is really solid from the tip of the blade to the toe of the handle; nothing flimsy about it. Finally, the ergonomics are spot on; it is very comfortable to hold and to use. Highly recommended.

My 3rd purchase
Got 3 of them. Others I have purchased ended up on give-a-way pile. This towel feels good in hand and do great job when digging. I guess the balance, the size ,and the sturdiness all add up and make this a great tool.

This tool works
I bought this tool for dandelion removal in my lawn. Bottom line is this tool works.Context: Rremoving dandelions embedded in my herbicide/pesticide-free lawn. I am writing this from the standpoint of what I wanted to know prior to choosing this tool.Pros:1) If you center the two prongs of the business end of the tool around the stalk/root of the dandelion and push down about 1 to 1.5 inches, you will be able to lever the entire root of the dandelion out of the ground. It took me a few tries to figure out how best to center the two prongs and the optimal spacing away from the dandelion (about 0.25 inches) before levering the dandelion out of the ground.2) I was able to minimize the amount of lawn grass that gets pulled up by moving the prongs closer to the stalk (0.25 inches away, as noted above). Whatever little dirt or grass does come up, I simply pat back into the ground.3) The leftover hole size is minimal and I was able to quickly pat the small amount of uplifted dirt firm and flat. (You need to do this. Otherwise you’ll have little dirt patches showing from where you weeded.)4) I was able to consistently get the full length of the root out of the ground after a few tries. You want to GET THE FULL ROOT out of the ground to make sure the dandelion does not grow back.5) I found the tool sturdy, easy to use and levered just the right amount.6) My soil was softened up from rain, so that made the weed extraction a lot easier compared to trying to do the same in dry hardened soil. My recommendation is to use this tool when the soil is softened up from rain or watering.7) Excellent quality. Very affordable and a solid value. I plan to use this tool for many years to come.Cons:1) You have to bend down to use this tool. Aside: I thought about getting a standup dandelion puller, but I didn’t like the idea of having a relatively large diameter hole remaining from the plug of soil and grass that gets pulled out with the dandelion. And then I’d need to put in topsoil and grass seed to fill the hole.2) I wish I knew about this tool sooner. But that’s on me.

Makes my List of Approved Garden Tools
I’ve used these cultivators for years but have always had a difficult time finding ones I like. Either the tines are too far apart, the handle comes off, or the welds break. This one is very sturdy, made of one piece with a comfortable handle. Thee tines are well spaced. The only thing I would change is to have a slightly longer handle. Otherwise a definite A on my tool list. Highly recommend.

Great Tool
If you have a lot of weeks that you’re going after this is likely not the best tool to use. We had a significant dandelion problem and I used the Fiskars 4-Claw Stand Up Weeder, which allowed me to go on a dandelion apocalypse – a bit exaggerated really, but true somewhat. I’d spend an hour or more with the Stand Up Weeder going after the dandelions and usually within three days of going after them I’d have them in hand. Now when dandelions are in prime season I don’t see nearly as many as I originally found myself dealing with, now it’s onesies and twosies, and this is the tool I use. I leave it outside so I can get to it without going to my work bench in the garage, and if you know how to use one of these you can get at most of the root of the weed without too much difficulty. The Stand Up Weeder would easily, if I lined it up right with the weed, take out nearly the entire weed root (six inches or more, I’ve seen up to nearly a foot), with this you’ll easily get at least half that, sometimes more, but from experience it’s enough to take out the week and not have it return. Great tool to have handy.

Great weeder for those tough-rooted weeds
This weeder has a comfortable grip (it’s not one of those cushy ones, but it’s not sized to be difficult for an average female-sized hand to get a good grip on).The body is bent and heavy duty enough to be able to apply good leverage to get stubborn roots out. I don’t know whether it has a full tang or not, but I have put a significant amount of my weight into wedging it up under some weed systems that have been growing for more than a single season without even bending, let alone breaking, the tool. Got them out, too!For those concerned about the lead content warning: use it as intended (particularly wearing gardening gloves – ftlog, there are wormies and squirmies in the ground, dontcha know…) and it should not be a concern. The lead is in the metal part of the tool, not the handle, first off. Second off, if you are encouraging your infant to use this as a pacifier, deficits from their lead exposure may actually be the least of your immediate worries: it’s pointy, heavy, and slightly sharp.Appropriate short term gardening use by an adult is perfectly safe, but if you are concerned, washing your hands thoroughly after use is an adequate way to ease any non-science based brain goblins. If you grind it to dust or use it as a bite guard, you are on your own. /s

Great garden tool
We bought a new one but we received one covered in dried crusty dirt, so took a star off for receiving a used item.We went ahead and used it as we had no other choice and would have had to pay for shipping so we kept it with paying full price. This garden tool works as designed and is very well made. Works great with loose soft soil and dry hardened clay mixed dirt in the garden.I would recommend it if the hardware stores by you don’t have it, otherwise just buy at the store so you can get a new one.

Does the job
I actually bought this as a pooper scooper and it does the job perfectly. The round end makes it easy to do the dirty job. I’ve also used it to dig up some weeds and it works well for that too. A nice, solid garden shovel.
