Best baby purchase ever
The quality is great. It’s built well. Our baby doesn’t cry when he is in it. And he looms really comfortable. Easy to get in and out of the car. Very smooth to push in stroller mode. The padding doesn’t feel cheap. Putting the wheels back does take some practice, but it’s totally worth it. The Handle adjusts to different heights, so it’s not to tall for me to push. I am 5’3. It looks great.

Don’t settle for convenience
The car seat is more for convenience. It is pretty heavy and on the bigger side compared to other car seats. I wish I was able to test the car seat out with my baby before purchasing it. My baby looked very scrunched up in the car seat and his chin was too tilted towards his chest making it look like he was suffocating and uncomfortable. I feel like people gave this car seat good reviews due to it being convenient but does not pay attention to how the baby is positioned in the car seat.

Durability and lightweight
Bought this stroller for my younger sister. I was able to move the stroller around a little bit and it is the lightest stroller I have ever laid my hands on. My nephew, who is a preemie looks so comfortable in this stroller car seat. Watching her put the baby in the backseat to the car seat box looks so easy I am definitely recommending this to all mothers who are pregnant or have young babies tiny toddlers because this is going to be the best investment you have ever bought

Obsessed
I purchased this for a family road trip. I absolutely love that we didn’t have to squeeze a bulky stroller into an already full trunk. It glides luxuriously and is so easy to take everywhere, from restaurants to the beach! There were so many situations where I found this convenient. I even had several people stop me throughout our vacation to ask about it. It’s surprisingly heavy, but easy enough for me (5’1”) to get in and out of the car on my own. Plus you can stroll it everywhere, so you never really need to carry it. The convenience is well worth it!! Thank you Doona.

JUST BUY IT!
So, we already had a Graco click connect car seat with 3 bases, which made me super hesitant to purchase a new car seat, especially at this price point, but let me tell you, it is so worth it! I hated taking my daughter anywhere because I didn’t want to lug around her car seat from place to place. We had to go to the hospital everyday for two weeks straight to have her bili checked and this was a life saver! They also have wonderful customer service. After a few weeks we discovered a small tear in the canopy and reached out to Doona, they quickly responded and had a new one on the way. We only purchased one extra base, but this car seat is also very secure just using a seat belt. The maneuverability of this car seat is also great, it maneuvers over uneven surfaces very well and is easily pushed through grass. Our daughter loves being in this car seat. It is also much easier to put her in and take her out compared to other car seats. If you are on the fence, just buy it! You will not regret it.Edit:My babe is now 16 months and no where near either limit. I’m pretty sure we are going to make it to the 2 year mark with our doona. This car seat has absolutely been amazing. It’s made it so easy for my mom to pick her up from the sitter with how easy this car seat buckles in without the base. My daughter is currently 20 lbs and I still find it easy to carry. I’ve seen a lot of complaints about the weight; however, I lift it into our lifted denali and Tahoe easily. We will definitely be using Doona for any future babes.Edit #2:My daughter was in the Doona until she was two and she finally hit the height limit. We transitioned her to an all in one car seat. I purchased a new canopy and shoulder pads from the Doona website and we have been using it with our son, who is now 8 months old. He is a pretty average sized baby and may grow out of it a lot sooner than our daughter but he will definitely use it for over a year. Our two year old loves pushing it around when we are out and about. It kind of distracts her so she will not run off. We also use a Mockingbird stroller and just leave the Doona in the car sometimes. If we are blessed enough to have a third child we plan for them to all be two years apart, 4, 2, and newborn. We will definitely be using the Doona with any future children. By then it may be getting close to expiration so we would purchase another. By far the best baby purchase.

If you want it, buy it
Yes this is expensive however it is so freaking convenient you will thank yourself. I am glad I got this when our baby was still little. We bring her EVERYWHERE now and it’s just so easy. Its so compact we can put her next to us or at the table in restaurants and we don’t have to disturb her when she is sleeping in the stroller/carseat because it’s the same thing. Its so easy to clip it in and out of the base. I’ll be so bummed when she outgrows this but in the meantime it makes outings with baby a great time

great for moms with physical limitations. LOVE MY DOONA
I have significant arthritis in my feet which would make carrying an infant car seat really difficult because of the extra weight. I absolutely love the Doona. It is easy to fold and even easier to unfold. It pops out of the base easily and isn’t overly heavy. The actual car seat structure is fantastic and feels really secure. There is no storage- but there is great options to add on (the knock offs work GREAT!)I’m 5’8 and the height isn’t an issue for me. My husband is over 6 foot and doesn’t mind it. The handle does have to be in a specific position in order to get it to fold so the first few times were difficult but after you have folded and unfolded a handful of times, it feels really easy, even when you have a baby in it. because of the bulk of the wheels when it’s folded, it can be a little bit cumbersome to get it in the car or out of the car but it’s a small price to pay for the convenience and portability overall. The only other negative would be that if the wheels get dirty of the stroller than it will obviously get your car dirty. You can buy protectors. This isn’t a big deal for us but I could see how it might be a problem for others.One thing I would consider, if you are having a C-section consider the wait restrictions during recovery. You may need assistance getting it in and out of the car in the mediate postpartum period during dr visits, etc. I just took my kiddo out instead of unfolding the entire stroller.The stroller maneuvers really well and does great in tight spaces. It’s worth every penny.

You need this.
After trying out a different (more affordable) “compact stroller” thing and it failing… and buying 5 different baby carriers that just haven’t made my life any easier… I FINALLY allowed myself to check out the pricey DOONA. I took the plunge and have not looked back! My baby is currently 5 months, we’ve had it for about a month – it’s been AMAZING! It’s a game changer, I should of just got this at the very beginning and will definitely being using this when we eventually have baby #3.Once you figure out how to open to stroller mode and close it, it become a piece of cake. Its a heavy car seat but all car seats are heavy to me.We will be flying in two weeks so I look forward to see how the Doona does with travel.The price tag definitely matches the value of this product IMO. You get what you pay for in a GREAT way! Highly recommend to all families with a baby!

Nothing to think about. Best thing ever. You won’t have to take up valuable cargo space with a bunch of crap. Fits in every car. No waking up the kiddo to get him/her back and forth between carriers and strollers, unless you enjoy waking up your sleeping kiddo.

Super handy but has its cons

Had been using the Doona stroller for 5 months now. It is super sturdy and easy to handle. We love the flame red canopy and the overall appearance of the stroller. After using it for few months here’s my overall reaction:Pros:HandyEasy to installCan be pushed with just one hand without it getting swiveledLooks very posh, always get compliments from older parentsCons:Very heavy, it itself weighs about 16lbs and is pretty bulky. To get the stroller in and out of the car you’ll need a good amount of rooms. Gets hard when there’s a car parked next to youAnother problem is when heavy moves her legs, her ankle hits the strap lock, and most of the time she is hurt and starts crying. We have started to keep a towel/blanket under her feet to save those tiny ankles. This I feel is a major design issue that Doona should take care of

The best car seat/ stroller for an infant
I wanted to update my review, sorry it’s long.I bought the doona in may 2020 for my child due in Aug 2020. Alot of people are wondering is the price worth it if the doona does “last” as long because of the child maximums.The doona has lasted me 1 year. The child max for the seat is 35 pounds and up to 32 inches; which my son at 1 years old he is 25.2 pounds (93rd children percentile) and 30 inches (58 percentile)I guess I could use the car seat for a little bit longer but I decided to upgrade to a Evenflo GOLD Revolve 360 Rotational All-In-One because it’ll be his forever car seat.Anyways, I LOVE my doona. Even though it is on the pricey side, I love how it was a 2 in 1. So when you think about it, it’s a pretty good deal! It works like a dream when the child is a newborn, that’s when it helped the most, I had an emergency C-section, and having to the doctors office all the time my son’s and my appointments, the doona makes it so easy from transitioning from the car to wherever. If my son was sleeping I did not have to disturb him or ever go into the trunk and get the stroller out. You just take out the car seat and pull the button and plop it into a stroller.I will say, I started to notice around when my son was 10 months, the car seat plus the child is pretty heavy, the doona is already I think 16 pounds. And for me, I liked to put him in the doona first and then took him out to the car and latched the doona to the base, going down stairs with him in the seat was heavy, which I could have done it differently, it just worked better for me this way. Also, I love you hear a clear latched sound and the green button show when the doona is clicked into the base.I used the anchors for the base and that was so easy for the doona to get in and out of the car. The doona also is easy to secure the car seat to another vehicle that you didn’t have another base for, so if you only really ever use 1 car, probably save your money on buying an additional base. Loved the green and red brake system, the red brake both locked both rear wheels, and the green unlocked them both. It was super easy to adjust the straps for the harness. I do wish the sun visor was a tad-bit bigger but it never was any big issue because I always had a nursing cover to put on the doona.Overall, if you have the money to buy it, BUY IT! I loved this thing, it manuvers so we’ll, it glides (it’s not all terrain, not great on big gravel) It was worth the money, you cannot get better convenience that this!!

Should have bought this first
I bought a different car seat & stroller combo at first trying to save money. To be specific I bought a Maxi Cosi when it was on sale. There’s nothing wrong with the car seat and stroller I had, but I had a trip to NYC planned and wanted something easier to travel with. My old car seat & stroller were clunky, and I didn’t want to travel with both.In comes Doona.Pros: it solves the problem of having a separate stroller and car seat. They truly are one unit. This saves a lot of space in the house and the car. I no longer have a stroller taking up space in my trunk or the house. Once you learn how to use it, it’s pretty easy to operate. You can transform it from a car seat to stroller very quickly.Cons: 1.) short lifespan. If you’re planning on having multiple kids like I am, this isn’t as big of a heart burn. For the price, your child won’t be in this for very long. Check the hight & weight limits before purchasing. You will likely have to purchase a second toddler stroller down the line. 2.) awkward height. If you’re taller, this may not be comfortable for you to push. I’m 5’ 1” and this is perfect for me, but if you’re 6’, I would look for something else. The seat itself sits very low to the ground when in stroller mode, and the handle is fairly low when fully extended.

LOVE IT
I am a first-time Mom. I purchased a Doona car seat based off recommendations from other Mom friends. The convenience of a car seat and stroller combination in one is great! Especially during baby’s first year when running errands, going to doctor appointments, follow-up appointments, etc. I have actually received compliments about it from complete strangers while out and about. Popping it in/out of the car seat base is a breeze, literally 1 button. Putting it in/out of stroller mode takes some practice at first but once you get the hang of it, it is also a breeze.I would recommend purchasing a second base so you don’t have to swap your main base around. We have used the second base in my husband’s truck, our Nanny’s car, Grandma’s car, and an unexpected rental car when my car had to stay in the shop, etc.CONs- it is on the heavier side, particularly as baby has grown. Keep your arm strength up!Fortunately, you generally are NOT carrying it for long distances since you can just pop it into stroller mode.Once baby outgrows this at 25 lbs, we will transition to a convertible car seat. Until then, we will continue to use and love our Doona.I would easily and highly recommend a Doona to everyone. This is THE infant car seat to have.

Why I’m giving 4 stars…
I love my Doona. It’s great so I don’t have to carry a extra stroller. As soon as I get out of the car with my baby I just press the back button and I have a stroller. The reason im giving it 4 stars is because the handle only lets you push while the baby is facing you. It does not let you extend the handle while you have it all the way back. So you can push the baby in the Doona while looking forward.

****update!!I’ve had the Doona for my baby girl for over 9 months now and it has still been the best purchase ever. We use it every single day and it still works great!Cons:-When you transform it to the car seat sometimes the wheels don’t want to click in unless they twist a certain way but it only takes a second or two more.-We took the Doona on a paved hike and the wheels did get some dust in them and squeaked but WD-40 fixed it and we haven’t had a problem since.-Our daughter got sick so we had to wash the seat cover and it was a little tricky to take off and put back on. Watching a tutorial on YouTube made it much easier.Pros:-We literally have taken it everywhere!! When it’s warm we go on multiple walks a day and it has held up perfectly.-It maneuvers so well that I can push the Doona around one handed even while turning.-When we go out to eat it fits next to the table so we can see her and not have to have her in a car seat on the ground.-It’s nice to bring the Doona to church! We fold it into the car seat when we put her in the pew next to us and then the rest of church it’s in stroller mode.-Shopping has been the best with the Doona! I’ve only been told once that I couldn’t bring a stroller into a small store and then I transformed it into the car seat and carried the doona while I was in there. The store owner was shocked! Other than that she’s been to lots of shopping centers, aquariums zoos, festivals and parks all in her Doona and it’s been great.Pro/Con: get ready for tons of people to ask you about your stroller and give compliments!!Honestly the Doona has made life so much easier and I 100% will use it with every kid I have!!**** I work in pediatrics and whenever moms come in with the Doona they make life with a baby look like a dream! I decided to splurge and buy one and I have zero regrets, it’s so easy to transform from car seat to a stroller and to maneuver everywhere. The Doona also lasts 6 years from the manufacture date till it expires so I’m already planning to use it with my second baby in the future. :)Heads up!! I suggest using your completion discount on your Amazon baby registry for 15% so you can get almost $85 off. And the vehicle seat protector it comes with is dark green with a black trim even if you order the nitro black Doona, I don’t mind but some might!

Not Bad
I’ve been using the car seat for about 2 months now and I’m still on the fence about the price. It’s very sturdy, easy to use, and cute. It comes with a base for your car which is convenient. The stroller is very easy to use and is super cute. It cleans easy. Downside that makes me on the fence is-it is heavy. If you have help then don’t worry about this concern. But if you are a single mom/don’t get a lot of help at home this maybe too much of a hassle when you are going through the healing process of birth. You should not be lifting something this heavy after delivery. And you definitely should not be lifting this up if you had a c-section.

Great for travel!It was able to fit on the Amtrak hallways and essy to travel when converting carseat to stroller mode.The stroller is a bit heavier but worth it especially at the airports too.Spot clean with warm soap and water and let it dry.

Best purchase ever. Period.
Let me clearly state that this has been the best and most satisfying purchase I’ve ever made in Amazon (and probably everywhere else). It arrived just the day the baby was born, and so we were able to come out of the hospital with the baby in it the next day. It was amazing having learned how to use it right away. We had a 15 minute walk from the hospital to our home and we chose to go that way instead of using a car. Since then we have been using the Doona every day and our baby has always felt comfy and happy when we seat him in it. It’s very maneuverable and it has served its purpose for every use we have thought of for it. So here’s a short summary of use cases we’ve successfully checked:- Taking the baby to the restaurant for lunch and dinner: we have used it in car seat mode and kept him just by our side in long benches in restaurants or as a stroller (with the brakes on) and replacing a seat at the table with it. It’s compact enough to avoid people getting in close proximity to its wheels, unlike most strollers.- Taking the baby on a ferry: Yes! It worked wonderfully in car seat mode for this. And the baby really likes traveling since his first day out (really thanks to the Doona… remember the baby adapts to your lifestyle instead of otherwise, if you choose to do so).- Using Uber: We’ve taken the baby on more than 50 rides and all drivers -really, all of them- were impressed at how easy it was for us to get him in and out of the car, converting from stroller to car seat and back to stroller in an easy operation. Just tell your Uber they don’t need to get off the car to open the trunk or help handling the stroller, because it’s instantly a car seat. It has made our life out of home really easy.- Taking the baby to the beach: just convert to car seat and carry it with the handle and then pop out the wheels when you hit your palm tree spot. The integrated shade helps keep the baby comfortable but we go extra cautious and always put a blanket covering the top of the Doona so no mosquitoes or too much sun and wind gets in. There’s an official sunshade but we found it easy to go the cheap way since we didn’t get the sunshade along and didn’t want to wait for shipping times.- Taking the baby to the movies: Yes! Believe it or not, babies like Avengers even if it’s a three hour long movie. We just put the Doona in car seat mode and voilà! Just check the baby for signs of wet diaper and maybe go to change it once through the movie to avoid crying. Remember to seat close to the aisles or next to the handicapped seats and you’ll enjoy your movie date once again and not having to wait for years to go back to the cinema. Actually having done this helped us emotionally since we found out we still can do things we like.- Taking the baby on a plane: Oh, yes… we had an international flight at week 5 and we felt like a “moving Kodak picture spot/opportunity” everywhere through the airport. It was so easy to get to narrow or crowded places and there are two ways of traveling with it: 1. Taking it to the gate and unloading the baby right at the plane’s door and the airline will take care of it and put it with the cargo and then deliver it back when you get out of the door so you can keep using it through customs and luggage pick up without having to hold the baby the whole time. And… 2. Getting a seat for your baby that you can take the Doona on board because it’s certified for air travel… We chose option 1 and saved some money for diapers and baby formula. And it was by far the easiest to use stroller/seat we saw (and the airline staff said that too). There were other babies on both planes we took and honestly they weren’t having as good time as we were.- Taking the car seat through TSA check… easy… it goes through the X-ray machine in car seat mode, flipped upside down. Just the right size for that.- Taking the baby to doctor’s appointments: waiting rooms sometimes get crowded and we were happy our Doona didn’t take as much space, avoiding making other people uncomfortable. During an appointment I found out another “mode” for the Doona that I’ve never seen in reviews or elsewhere: just retract the wheels to put it in car seat mode and leave it in the floor. Surprisingly, it works like a rocking chair! Really, just try it when you get yours and be amazed at that “rocking chair” mode. I’ve never seen so many “WTF” faces around before.- Getting in and out of elevators with one hand: just retract the handle and put it upright and it will take the less space possible. It’s so easy to do.- Going shopping: it’s so small and flexible you can take it to the outlets and feel like a “Kodak picture spot/opportunity” once again (actually someone mentioned that while I retracted the Doona to climb some stairs and avoiding a long ramp other parents where going through slowly (hence the photo op… a line of parents wasting time and only one avoiding the traffic jam).Now we’re in month 5 and while most of this review was written during the first two months, nothing has changed and we’re happy we went the Doona way. We removed the newborn insert just before month 3 and baby didn’t even notice the change.Short summary: we have been happy parents thanks to Doona.***********Follow up: Our baby is 2.5 years old now and we miss the Doona. We used it for 15 months and once again, we miss it but it surely made another happy family after us. If there could be something similar for toddlers, we would definitely buy it. But honestly, still think it was the best purchase ever.

Did I ever think a car seat would make me happy?
The answer is no but it sure does make life simpler. I looked up car seats forever. I was nervous about our first baby so I wanted to get a great car seat. The whole car seat and baby stroller industry is a joke. Generally not many products are made to adapt to a growing baby. If you find a great stroller then the baby seat does not adjust from infant to baby to child. If anything comes close you are generally paying for it. Then lets get into car seat bases, dear lord lets say we did and don’t. Anyways here is my review.Pros1 – The base is a breeze to use. Simply locks the seat into place and releases easily.2 – The ability to strap the seat without a base. It is easy to do as also.3 – It turns into a freaking stroller. It does so with ease.4 – Safety. The handle adjusts to help with impacts to secure the car seat.5 – Maneuverability. This stroller turns on a dime, very fluent.6 – Ability to travel on a plane.Pros/Cons1 – If you are tall (well over 6′) you might not enjoy the handle on the stroller. If you are smaller or a medium person by height this is perfect.2 – Comfort. My infant finds it to be very comfortable, then again we did add more padding.Cons1 – Price. Yep the price.2 – When releasing the button to turn the seat into a stroller jars a bit. So I made sure to set the car seat down first then turn it into a stroller.3 – Lack on storage. You have to buy accessories to clip onto the stroller from the company.4 – Weight. It is not light but from what other parents have told me that most car seats never feel light and are a pain to lug around. For me I have no problem. My wife finds it to be heavy.Overall I love this car seat stroller freak of nature. I could not imagine not using this, every car seat should have this function. If one finds it too heavy simple stop lugging the car seat around and turn it into a stroller. It’s built well and meant to be a little abused. I also like the peace of mind that it was certified by the US and EU standards, it has passed many tests as it states on the part stickers all over the Doona. I find it funny how I hesitated to purchase this. If I came to the same situation again I would buy this hands down again and again.

This product is amazing for parents who are always on the go

Worth every penny
I was hesitant to purchase due to the price tag, but we ended up purchasing and let me tell you…. WORTH EVERY PENNY! I have four kids total and this thing is a *life saver*… back saver, space saver, shoulder saver the list goes on! I am not a very big woman and drive a SUV and have no issues loading and unloading. To be able to just pop it out and and roll is BEYOND CONVENIENT! It is sooo easy to fold the wheels up to load and to pop them back out to use as a stroller! Not having to tote around a stroller to load / unload is amazing and saves all my truck space. My baby seems very comfortable in this seat also, she is 2.5 months old now and sleeps well at times while we are on the go. There is no storage basket or cup holders on it though so I highly recommend purchasing one to attach! Doona has a product line and you could also get a handle bar bag attachment like they sell at Walmart as well! Great car seat / stroller!!

A MUST BUY FOR PARENTS!!!!
Love this! I tell all expecting parents this is a must buy. Makes doing errands alone easier. Easy to use. Glides over everything. Fits all general stroller attachments and covers.Heavier to carry than a traditional car seat – BUT ITS TOTALLY WORTH IT. I’m small and I only carry this for a few seconds before I pop the wheels out. The transition from car seat to stroller is smooth and easy.Highly recommend I waited until my baby was 6 months to get this because of the price. DONT WAIT. If I could I would have gotten this before my baby was born.

Love the Doona 10/10
I love the Doona! I was worried my baby was going to grow out of it too quickly and make it not worth the price but I was wrong. Babe is now 8 months and still in his Doona. It is so easy to maneuver, so much better than having to lug around a heavy carrier. It is so nice and comfy, he loves taking naps in the car in it. I’ve seen some complaints about the bar “being too low” but my Husbands who is 6″1′ loves it too and has no issue with the height of the bar when pushing. He also said it was easy to install. Overall we love it even after all these months. It is especially convenient for quick in and out errands. I also love the green cover, it is water resistant and so nice when it rains.

Love this car seat
This car seat made being a first time mom amazing. You can bring them in and out with ease. We were able to eat at restaurants so easily without a fuss. I don’t think it’s too heavy like some people say. The price is worth it for how useful this combo seat/stroller is. Wish they made one’s for when she grows out of this one 😭 but she’s petite and it’ll be a good while before then.

Not Really Heavy
I was worried about it being super heavy PP, but after 2 days PP it was a breeze. Gave birth ol natural without medication so can’t speak from a c section experience, but I love it. It is quite bulky as I can’t fit it in the middle of my lil Jeep compass but fits fine in my avalanche! Definitely had to take an hour to learn fold and unfold the wheels. And if your a first time mom don’t make my mistake, you have to be at the hospital 2 hours prior to get an epidural.

Super convenient and worth it until winter
First off, I wish I had had this with my first and second babies, it would have made it so much easier going just about anywhere. The main downside, in my opinion, is how heavy the car seat is when you’re unable to use the seat as a stroller. My baby was born in May and it’s been great until winter. Now, with all of the snow where I live, I find myself contemplating whether or not I need to buy him a new car seat since the stroller does not do well in the snow.Pros: fairly easy to use, convenient when using as a strollerCons: price, lack of cup holder, heavy to carry

Does it all, but with compromises
If you use ride-share, travel, or have a lot of things to jungle, this car seat is great. You can unlatch it from the car, pop the wheels down and you have a stroller to take into the store in seconds. It works with the base or can be held in with a seatbelt.If you want to use it outdoors, you will need very smooth pavement. You will quickly find that bike paths you thought were smooth are very bumpy and sidewalks can be like off-roading.If you are tall, over 6 feet, you will have a hard time pushing this stroller, as the handle is short. I am 6 foot even and constantly kick the wheels of the stroller as I walk and have to bend over a bit if I want to push with both hands. Luckily pushing with one hand is pretty easy.If you have a big baby, this seat won’t last long.Hope this review helps navigate all the hype of this stroller. Great for ride-shares and travel. Not great as a stroller outside.

Worth every penny.Love it!
I love this stroller/carseat! I used one for each of my children. It lasts long; my previous Doona I gave it away to a friend and still works like new after 3 years of use. Needed to buy a new one for my newborn and I absolutely recommend it. It saves space in the car, you don’t wake to baby whenever you go on-off car, and it lasts long.

The real deal, not counterfeit.
Did you know Amazon is not responsible of the product safety? It is third party who is responsible. That being said, you need to check your product and make sure it’s not fake. CNN reports there are fake Doona being sold that didn’t pass the crash test. This one I bought is the real deal with warranty and all. I am grateful for honest sellers. My doona works perfect.

I want to give the Doona 5 stars because I love 99% of the convenient factors but there are some negatives as well. The positives are it’s sooo convenient when going to restaurants, malls, friends houses, Dr offices, and pretty much anywhere OTHER than places where you need a cart. It is almost impossible to grocery shop with. You can’t put the Doona on the cart like a normal car seat. You have to push the Doona in front of you, and pull the cart behind you. It’s super annoying. You pretty much have to make grocery shopping a family outing or you’ll have to push the Doona while pulling the cart. Also, it’s extremely heavy! If you are buying this because you’ve had a C-section you’re going to really struggle getting it in and out of your car or carrying it up/down stairs. I pretty much have my husband carry it and/or get in and out of the car if he is with my because it’s so heavy! Other than that, it’s amazing! I still think it’s better than a regular car seat!

Do not listen to the haters
I was pregnant w my first and didn’t put this on my registry due to the negative reviews: “it’s to heavy, no storage space, only for a newborn, overpriced etc” and wow- idk if the negative reviews are from competitors or what bc I cannot imagine having one bad thing to say about this stroller. It has made our lives so much easier and taking the baby places is astronomically more enjoyable. I used to think this stroller was expensive but now I see that it is very fairly priced for how much easier it makes your life. Also I don’t get why ppl need so much storage space? I carry a jansport backpack with minimal items and it works great for us. Anywho, I finally bought one when my baby was 2 months old and could not be more happy. If you’re on the fence, GET THE DOONA.

Cut out all the extra load-up/unload time out
Listen…. To all the buyers, soon to be parents, multiple kids parents with new plus ones in the family. LET ME TELL YOU how skeptical 🤨 I was on purchasing something such as a car seat for or close to $500. I did the typical well we can save money and get a stroller and a car seat separately and the baby will still be safe. I know you are prob doing the same. BUT listen… HEAR ME OUT…. The amount of time it takes to put the baby into a car seat get the baby into the car. Oh you need to stop by the grocery store? Are you just going to carry the car seat or are you going to get into the trunk for the stroller and swap the baby to the stroller. Ughhh so much time wasted. Not to mention sometimes places like restaurants don’t allow strollers. Now it’s an inconvenience… CUT all of this out. For the love of GOD I wish I had this doona for my first born. It makes thing so much easier being able to pop the wheels out and just take off and on about my day. The doona is a bit heavier than most car seats but you can adjust and get used to it fairly quickly. The fact that if I don’t want to have a stroller and I just want to carry my baby is absolutely amazing. ESP if for example I can’t take a stroller onto say an escalator but I can a car seat. Or like I said earlier about the restaurants… easy peasy boom my stroller is now a car seat.I know the price seems steep. But listen the resale value of these are high because they’ve to my knowledge never had a recall and the engineering behind them are amazing and safe. I now own two of them (one for each car). Yeah I spent a grand on them but that’s an investment like no other. And serious peace of mind and less hard ache. I know it’s a long review but if I could save someone the hard ache of reading reviews for good info. Please let this one be it^^^!! Thanks again doona.

Easy to use
We went back and forth so many times on what stroller to get. Our baby isn’t here yet so I might have to edit the review once we’ve actually used it with her in it. But so far I’ve practiced opening and closing it and its a breeze. Seems compact enough to take anywhere. My husband also had no problem setting up the base in the car.

Like it don’t love it
I was super excited to receive this stroller after learning about it due to it being an all in one stroller. However when we received it, we learned some things we didn’t expect. First, It is a lot lower to the ground than we would like it to be. You will have to bend over quite a bit to reach the baby which can be very uncomfortable after giving birth, especially a c-section. Second, we also discovered it to be a bit wobbly which surprised us after paying so much for it. Third, the “Donna” cap on the right side fell off after 2 uses.

Best baby purchase
This is by far the best baby purchase we made. It is so convenient and compact. Honestly the amount of ppl I’ve demo it for in stores after being approached about it- I should have a sponsorship lol. You won’t regret this purchase. 10 stars. The base works great and even if u don’t have the base it’s easy to secure with the seatbelt. One thing I don’t like is there are no hooks to hold up the seat attachments while putting the baby in so I kinda have to struggle to pull them out from under my daughter. But that’s so minor compared to how good this product is. I wish there was one for the next stage. My daughter is 7 months. Again, highly recommend!!!!
