    Still my favorite wrap

I got this as a baby shower gift and while I’ve tried a few different types of carriers, some that are a little easier to wrap, this is still by far my favorite at 8 weeks old. I imagine my opinion will change when my son gets bigger, but this wrap has been the most comfortable, easiest to adjust, and most secure from day one. I like the stretchiness of it, I can make it as tight on me as I want and I’ll still be able to get the little one in it, and don’t have to make a ton of adjustments. Other, more structured wrap style carriers need a lot of adjustment to get it in the right place in my back and wiggling to get the little one where he should be.

    Must have for newborn

My newborn is still too young to enjoy front or chest facing carriers but loves the side carry in this wrap. I still have to prop up with one arm but at least the wrap holds the bulk of the weight allowing me to comfortably single hand chores around the home. It’s breathable and very long, it’s heavier weight than the “silk wraps” which I prefer because this does get washed and I don’t have to worry it’ll wear thin with multiple washes.

    Perfect for snuggling with baby

I initially purchased the Balboa baby sling from BuyBuyBaby (my other favorite baby gear store) but returned it within one week because I hated it because my baby hated it! The sling was difficult to get right for my then 6 week old who was too young to put in that contraption – no matter how tight I made the sling (which for those of you who have tried it, once you make it that tight to fit a tiny tiny person, it is extremely difficult to get off – especially when your baby is wailing!) I tried that thing a few times during that week but I never felt comfortable that no matter what I was doing, my baby was breathing properly and that it was safe. So I returned it.I initially did NOT want a long wrap with lots and lots of fabric that I had to figure out what to do with. Not to mention that I was uncomfortable with the thought that the fabric might unravel and that I might drop my baby! But after failing at one of those pre-made slings, I had to try something that I could make on my own and women had been using for centuries to carry their little ones.So I did a little bit of research on wraps and slings and narrowed it down to this or the Moby wrap from Amazon. I don’t remember what I saw that made me select the Boba over the Moby (price maybe) but I went with this. So far this product is amazing! This is my favorite item next to my baby’s car seat, here’s why:1. I can hold my baby super close to my heart and chest giving both me and my baby lots of comfort. I didn’t realize how much I missed having that close connection with my baby during my pregnancy until I wore him in this for a couple of weeks and remembered that this little guy that i was hugging on the outside of my body was just inside my body a few short weeks ago.2. The color in grey is nice and subtle and sometimes when I wear this wrap, it looks like its a cool part of my outfit (not really but at least I don’t feel like i’m wearing a backpack).3. I can wear the sling all day long. When I put baby in his car seat, I hop into the driver’s seat and take off without unclipping/unwrapping/undoing anything. When I get to where I need to be, I just pop baby back in and we head off. I didn’t realize how much mobility this offers me compared to a stroller but if you don’t have one of these – you seriously need one.4. BEST thing to get baby to go to sleep. You can wear this 3 ways from what I’ve seen so far (infant hug hold, cradle hold, and baby hug hold -where the baby’s legs are dangling from the bottom). I use this in the cradle hold to get my baby to sleep and tuck him in the fabric to hold his head secure and his body snug to mine. With a few bouncy bouncy bouncies on a quick 2 minute walk, my baby is out for his nap!I love the concept of this baby carrier, which is why i gave it 5 stars. However, I am on the lookout for a cooler version of the wrap for the summer time as the material doesn’t breathe very much and after an hour walking with my son, he gets too hot and sweaty (for those of you who are trying to figure that out, when you are hot and sweaty, so is your baby because heat transfers when you are holding your baby). If you currently do not have a baby carrier and have a newborn or infant less than 12 weeks – I HIGHLY recommend the wrap. it is perfect for you and your baby and is probably easier to get him accustomed to being in this early on rather than later on.

    Overall I like it!!

This is a really great and comfortable way to carry your babyand feel them as close as can be. I also love that it fits me as a plus size woman (2xl; 5’2″ 230lbs)My only thing is that you have to learn to wrap yourselves. And its not the quickest thing to do either. With me, I’ll put it on before I leave the house but if take it out that’s it. I’m not putting it back on in public. 1. Because it takes time to wrap yourself and 2. Because since it’s super long, and I’m pretty short, it touches the ground.

    Great wrap!!!

The wrap has been great. The only negative is that the fabric is very thick and I sometimes worried that my baby was overheating or not getting enough fresh air while in it.On the flipside, this wrap would be great in the colder months for keeping my baby warm and out of the elements. Other than that there’s really nothing else negative I can say about it. It’s been a great deterrent for keeping unwanted hands and faces out of my baby’s personal space. No one asks to hold her and no one tries to kiss her while I’m wearing her. I would definitely buy this wrap again and I’d recommend it to friends and family. If you’re on the fence, get it. It’s a good quality wrap that holds your baby snug and secure against you.

    Must Buy for Newborn

I am a new mom so I am still navigating my 2 months old likes and dislikes. This is a definite love for him and I. I can finally do this around the house without my little angel crying and looking for me. Everytime I put this on and carry him he instantly fall asleep and stay asleep. Pros: Ease of use. Very secure and I rely on the material. It is sturdy and very long. So no matter what shape you are it’ll work on you. Cons: Material is thick. I sweat when I wear it but my baby loves it. But it is very hot for the mom. I wear it 2x and I sweat both times.

    DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED

The Boba Baby Wrap Carrier is a total game-changer! Not only is it super comfy for both me and my little one, but learning the wrap method was surprisingly easy. The grey color is chic, and the stretchy fabric provides the perfect snug fit. From newborn to toddler, this carrier is versatile and accommodates various carrying positions. The hands-free experience is a lifesaver, allowing me to multitask while keeping my baby close. Boba has truly mastered the art of babywearing with this fantastic wrap – a solid 5 stars!

    Stretchy and breathable

I have used both this Boba and a Keababies and I prefer the Boba for wearing around the house and when I’m doing computer work. It allows me to use both hands to do my work while letting baby breastfeed or sleep. The Boba is more stretchy than the Keababies and much more breathable so it’s more comfortable for long periods, high activity, or warm days. The Keababies is a lot firmer and tighter knit so it holds baby more securely if I’m moving around a lot. I wasn’t able to get a good latch for my newborn and a good carry configuration with the Keababies – it didn’t have enough stretch to adjust, get my hands in, and still hold baby secure. The Boba works great for a cradle hold and breastfeeding.

    Great wrap, tricky application

I love this wrap as it holds baby securely on my chest. It has a great amount of bounce to soothe baby. The only down side is the application! It is very long! I am 5’2” and find the wrap is tricky to apply and I tend to have a lot of extra length!

I love this wrap so much. It is perfect for my newborn who loves being close. It has saved me for the holidays as now I don’t need to worry about people demanding to hold him for the holidays. I really love this thing and will wear it all the time.

This wrap was a life saver when we had to fly with the little. It is super easy to use and comfortable to wear while carrying the little. It’s nice to have on hand if we will be walking a lot when we go places.

    Best out of 3

As a first time mom, I love this wrap! I was a pant size 14 (US) before pregnancy and I’ve struggled to find a wrap that fits me well. I’ve tried the Baby Bajorn carrier and the Moby. My baby does not like the Bajorn at all and his head would almost fall out the side of the Moby whenever he would fall asleep. This wrap fits me well and is super soft! My only complaint is that the wrap is very stretchy so sometimes I worry that if it’s not tight enough, it won’t have enough support on the bottom. To fix this I wrap it super tight. I would love if the company came out with a “no tie” wrap so I wouldn’t have to contort it myself. Overall, it’s a high quality wrap at a fair price point!

Got Us Through Rough Days and Colicky Nights

This wrap saved mine and my husbands backs many nights and allowed me to be able to get work done around the house. My son had colic and was not a very good sleeper. It seemed like he would only sleep when he was held in our arms and the only way to get him to calm down when he got in the bad colic episodes would be to hold him close and walk around with him. He is a pretty big boy, and got really heavy really fast, so when my husband and I would have to hold him for long periods of time, our backs would ache and our arms would get so tired. When we got this wrap, everything changed and we were able to strap him to us without fatiguing our arms and backs and he could get some shuteye. The way that this wrap brings baby close to the center mass really helps alleviate the weight like when baby was in the uterus. Also, the snug fit was very comforting to baby and would put him to sleep pretty quickly.I did notice that it’s not the most breathable material, but our baby was born in the fall, so it was good for us for the time of year since it was cooling down. The material is very stretchy, but I noticed that sometimes if I repositioned baby that I would lose the support and baby would end up down by my pelvis. Also, if you’re hoping to buy this to be able to breastfeed while moving about, you should know that it is very difficult if you are very busty like me. I struggled to attempt it a few times and eventually gave up. Likely it would work for you if you have smaller and very perky breasts, but it didn’t work for me.

    Fits great

The product works great. I’m a plus size girl and I was looking for a wrap that would fit me a size 3x. My daughter loves being in it and usually falls right to sleep. I’d give it 5 stars except it says it’s grey and it doesn’t look grey to me or anyone in my family. The picture on here looks grey but in person it’s not the same color.

    Would repurchase.

I love the stretchiness, the color, the thickness (not too hot), and the length of this!! I’m a 2X, so I was concerned it would be too short to wrap properly, but it’s not! That said, I’m docking a star for quality & the fact that the side that points to your chest and baby is sooooo easy to snag! My wedding ring has snagged in several places! UGH! I now take it off to maneuver baby + put it on + take it off. Otherwise, I snag more threads!! UGH again!

    Very soft and stretchy!

I am very pleased with this wrap! I have the Sollybaby wrap and I absolutely love it, so I was nervous about getting something else!My take aways:This wrap is very stretchy whereas the Solly is not. This is thin, compared to the classic Boba, but not as thin as the Solly. If you are looking for something very thin for hot weather, the Sollybaby is probably what you want! This wrap will be good to go places during the summer, but only if you will be shaded or indoors most of the time, because it’s still decently thick. This wrap also has more fabric than the Solly. When you are getting it set up, you will want to feel like you have over tightened it. Since it’s so stretchy, the baby will slide down if you don’t have it tight enough.Overall I love this wrap, but since I live in the South, I wish it could be thinner, because it gets super hot here haha

    Thabk you Boba

Returned mine within 30 days because it stretched out too much. Not that it makes a ginormous difference but I am not a big girl so I expected this to last longer. Loved it at first though.UPDATEBoba reached out to me out of the blue and whoever is behind the customer service emails is a genuine person. I’m adding 3 stars because of her alone. They’re sending a replacement to me. I wanted to stand on my high horse and say no thanks after I sent a long email to them thanking them for making the product because it kept my little 4 lb NICU baby snuggled up to me unlike most other baby carriers meant for full term babies and also giving them insight into my personal life story and the email went totally unanswered but I stopped myself when she said they are a small family owned company. I accepted and she continued to write me emails encouraging me to contact them anytime for issues but more importantly for SUPPORT. Did you guys know they offer video tutorials and free chat with a support person? They really do go the extra mile and I’m glad my stubbornness didn’t prevent me from seeing it. Mistakes happen especially with technology and it is possible my email slipped through the cracks, and to be completely honest I was more upset with me emailing going unread than I was with the wrap stretching out (somewhat petty, I know, but as a mom of 5 kids with 4 of them being 2 years old, 1 year old, 1 year old and a newborn I don’t typically have much time to write such long emails *2 are sick right now and zonked out on Tylenol 1’s at a friends house and 1’s in the shower with dad hence the long review, I won’t be judged 😉 I even got a separate email from her letting me know the wrap will be here tomorrow. It probably sounds silly but she really made me feel special when she did that, I spend all day catering to my family of 7 so it was nice for a brief second to realize that someone else had thought of me. Boba has thousands of customers and I’m being emailed like I’m the very first one. Thank you Boba. You get an extra star for that one.

Bought for daughter for grandbaby. She loves it

I bought for my daughter and she fell in love with this quick. Said it was easy to wrap around her, and held baby without worry. I was worried as I thought how could this be safe. She has never had a mishap or issue with this and said it is comfortable for both.Great job with these 🙂

    Hot as Hades

I live in Texas and it’s only May but this isn’t something I can easily wear my baby with because it’s so stinking hot!The material is likely better for other seasons and/or cooler climates.Also- I’m new to wrap style baby wearing and when my baby was in this I constantly was holding their head up and needing to retie it because the baby kept getting lower and lower.I’m 5’6, my partner who is over 6’ didn’t have an issue with the baby slipping down. I wonder if it relates to the size of our torsos?I think this might be better for bigger people? All that being said, it’s still a better alternative to holding the baby with two hands all the time.Maybe a Solly is a better option if you want a wrap and it’s hot where you live or will be using it

Highly recommend this baby wrap ! I bought this wrap in black considering my husband would be using this as well. As long as you wrap this wrap around you the correct way the support is super great! Super soft , Super thick & has stretch to it as well ! In my opinion this wrap is very comfortable , as for breathability as long as it’s not super tight I think it’s great in that aspect ! Trust you will know if it’s way to right for the baby !

    It’s okay

I have not decided if I completely love this product. It is very long and it takes a lot of space in the diaper bag, so I have to just carry it around the stroller which still occupies a lot of space. It is very inconvenient to take to the grocery store for example, because of the size, to be able to strap it around some of touches the floor and to wrap it around it takes some time, its just too much for me. The material is very soft and flexible, keeps baby very secure. My baby likes it for a little bit, then she gets fuzzy because of the position she’s in doesn’t give her much space to move.

    So stretchy!

It is great wrap, but the issue I have is that after a while the tightness loosens and you will need to rewrap yourself to prevent the baby from sunken lower into the wrap. But overall a lifesaver for getting things done while contact napping.

    Love this!

I tried so many different carriers/Wraps when my daughter was smaller and this was by far my favorite! It me a few times to get the tightness right but I loved how it felt and she seemed to love being in it! Love that it has a great stretch to the material and was comfortable!

    AMAZING!!!! FREE HANDS!!!!

I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANY MOM AND DADS!!! I get ssssoooo many compliments on this when I am out grocery shopping or running errands, AND BABY LOVES IT!!!! It keeps baby close to my chest and can feel my warmth and heartbeat. Once he goes in he will stay alert for 10mins and then he is sleep. He falls asleep EVERYTIME he goes into this! Plus I am able to do dishes, laundry, housework and errands or grocery shopping with ease!! Both hands are free and the wrap distributes his weight evenly so it doesn’t strain my back. Our baby is 2 1/2 months @ 15lbs. It does take some practicing of how to wrap it but after the 5th time you won’t need instructions and you will just wrap it right up. Also be prepared for a little spit up if you have just fed baby and put them in this. Since it does press their stomach against yours.

    Curvy momma friendly

I searched for a wrap that would be compatible with a curvy figure. This wrap is exactly what I needed. It is the perfect size and allows for weight fluctuations during postpartum. The wrap is easy to use once you get used to it.

Perfect for Cuddles and getting work done

First off, learning to properly tie the wrap is weird but once you have the hang of it, it’s a breeze. We use ours at least 3 times a day for walks, naps and getting housework done.

    Baby must have

I wore this alllll the time when my baby was a newborn. It was the only way I could cook or clean, or just get anything done really. Great product!

    Very soft

I love this thing! The fabric is very soft and comfortable for baby. It’s very durable too. The baby stays secure and I’ve never had issues with tying it up and it coming undone.

    Comfy and secure!

Totally comfy and makes me feel like my baby is comfy and secure. I use this almost daily, even around the house while I clean, cook, and attend to my other child.

    Just…wow

I will make an edit once I get the chance to actually use it; my baby is not yet here I still have 4 weeks to go. I have loved the idea of using wraps to baby wear for a VERY long time, and now that I’m going to have a little one I finally was able to buy one justifiably. One of my aunts got me a different company, so I will be comparing the two. This one, right off the bat you can tell is made with care. It came specially wrapped in a box with the company name. Folded nice and neat with a card with instructions on use sitting right on top. You flip over the first layer and there are two more cards. One is safety reminders not only of how to wear your baby, but instructing on how to prevent closed airways. And the second is a card that has their mission statement and a thank you for purchasing. Inside attached to the tag is a registration card for recall and warranty information.I bought the Sangria wrap, and the color is just gorgeous. It’s more vibrant than the picture implies, but that’s a good thing. It’s super soft and lightweight despite the amount of fabric involved. I’m really excited to try it.The other one (I don’t remember the name of the company, it was a $22ish one I added to my registry as I knew family would be unlikely to buy the more expensive brand. It’s gray and very comfortable to wrap. Light cotton jersey kind of material. It has the instructions printed on one end sewn to the fabric, and a tag that marks the center for where to place it when wrapping. It came with a drawstring bag for protection.I am definitely more impressed at this stage with the boba wrap. I will add to my review once my daughter is here and I can do more than try either on. (I will also be editing to add the name of the company for the second wrap I got)Edit: I have used this twice so far (4 weeks old now), and I have to say I absolutely love it. My recommendation though is to baby wear either with just the diaper or with a lightweight like gerber onesie without sleeves or legs. All the layers of cloth made her very warm to the touch. But keep in mind where you are…it’s currently January in Southern California for me. I would assume Minnesota or Alaska you would need many more layers than that.It supports her weight perfectly and makes it super easy to do things like eating. I love this wrap. I have not yet tried the other brand (jeroray or something like that) I got.

    Life saver

So excited to have both hands free and be able to get things done. Baby does not want to be put down ever and this way she can still be close to me and share warmth. Lots of material that will fit many body sizes and it’s nice and cozy and stretchy. I bought one in black and one in grey, thinking about purchasing another in a print!

    Love the stretch

This wrap is one of the easiest to use, the stretch in this material makes it very easy to get your baby properly wrapped in, and personally, my baby enjoys the little bounce that this wrap provides when I’m wearing her. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star review is because the wrap is a thicker material, and depending on the climate, it could get hot for the parent and baby. I also have the Sollybaby wrap and this one is easier to use, although if this one was made a bit thinner, it would be the best wrap hands down. This is great for small babies too, since mine was too small for some of the other baby wrap carriers out there.

    Great buy!

This wrap is a HUGE help to me right now! I have two daughters, a 4 week old and a 14 month old. I had a baby carrier with straps and buckles that I tried to use with my first daughter. She didn’t like being in it but I saved it for future kids. My second daughter loves being held and being close to me so I tried that same carrier with her and while she would go in it, I knew she was uncomfortable in it and would end up not staying in for long. I decided to give this wrap a try thinking she might like it better since it’s just all fabric with no straps or buckles and she loves it! As long as I get her in it while she’s calm and content, she will fall asleep and stay in it for a few hours giving me my arms and hands back to handle and care for my 14 month old and do whatever else I need to do that I couldn’t if I were constantly having to hold her. I learned that you can also breastfeed your baby while they are in the wrap too. While I’m no longer breastfeeding for various reasons, I did try bottle feeding her while in it and I had no issues at all! It may not go as smoothly every time, but it certainly made things a lot easier the one time I did try it not having to take her out and fully wake her up and risk her not wanting to go back in if I need to get some things done. But I would only bottle feed her in it if actually needed to and wouldn’t make it a habit because she would still need diaper changes and time to just be out of the wrap. However, I can see it being beneficial if I’m out and about with her in the wrap and need to feed her. Overall, I love that I’m able to do pretty much everything I need to do while my daughter is in this wrap. It’s comfortable to wear for up to 2-3 hours at a time, which is how long I typically keep my daughter in it before taking her out and giving her some free hours to stretch out, do floor time, and spend time with dad and breathe a bit because baby can get hot in the wrap over time. So far I’ve had no issues. The fabric is very long especially if you’re short like me (5’2) so when putting the wrap on, it does drag on the floor. I don’t particularly like that but it’s not a deal breaker. Other than that, I haven’t found anything else to not love about this wrap! Highly recommend!

    Constantly being used

I don’t usually leave reviews but I am obsessed with this! I use it almost all day everyday with my newborn. He loves to be held so I often put him in this as I just walk around the house, just so he calms down and feels close to me. I also use this when we go on walks with our dog, we’ve comfortably walked over 3 miles using this! It’s easier and more convenient than a stroller and I feel he’s better supported than our other backpack type carriers at this age. The fabric is thick, and feels like great quality. It’s also very long so it’s easily converted to be used by me or my husband.

    It provides good support

It takes a long time to put it out and I am constantly worried about it being too tight. It is a good carrier but I am not too found of it. Though my wife still likes it.

    Just buy it

I was hesitant to spend this much money on a piece of fabric… now I will probably gift this at every baby shower I go to.I have a Tula which is great for adventures but it just wasn’t that comfortable for “around the house” and didn’t seem like the best carrier for newborns. Our last foster baby really thrived with contact. This was comfy for me and the baby. He often fell asleep within 5 minutes of being snuggled in. I could do household chores without disturbing him or killing my back.It took me about 3 times of putting it on to really get the hang of it. I’m only 5’1″ so it’s a little long which makes putting it on a little more challenging. But once it’s on I just give it an extra wrap around my waist and the extra fabric doesn’t bother me.It has good stretch while also having a secure hold. The fabric is soft and breathable.10/10 recommend

    I love it!

I just received my wrap and I love it. Is the first one I have ever owned and the instructions were easy to follow. Im a plus size and it has lots of fabric to spare! Now I will get another one in another color so my husband can also enjoy wrapping our baby!
