I prefer Amazon Basic’s hooded light weight jacket are not in stock. (Hope they are not discontinued). This jacket is cute, fits well, and is good quality; however, the zipper at the top end in the collar isn’t covered in fabric and is scratchy on my neck. I might be returning or not.

Warm, packs small, perfect for travel
On a recent trip to Chicago for a conference I was frustrated because the venue didn’t have a place to check coats and I didn’t want to carry my long wool coat around all day. I ordered this one from Amazon and it came super fast. It will literally pack into a bag about the size of a large can of food which is awesome both for fitting in luggage but also into bag during the day if it gets warm.The fit is super flattering and runs true to size. I could fit it over a sweater without feeling bulky I love that it had zippered pockets on the outside as well as a couple pockets (not zippered) on the inside.It felt dressy enough to wear with my business casual clothes but also is great for jeans or outdoor activities.This may not be enough for the coldest of winters but layering well definitely extends its use. I will probably purchase in additional colors.

Buy one size bigger than you wear
Purchased with 7 day try before you buy! Best choice ever. Teen daughter moved into medium this year. We exchanged for a large as medium was snug. Daughter is satisfied with the coat as she originally wanted a northface and this mom not paying the brand name price.

Not for super cold weather. I’m wearing a vest under it by the same maker. But it’s really getting me thru a Pacific Northwest dreary winter. I don’t think it would be warm enough in snow though unless you had on high quality base layers. But for me it’s perfect–maybe down to 40 degrees, with layers under. For me it checks the boxes.

Really Great – but size up if you’re nicely curvy!
I bought several of these as a gift for some committee members and “presented them” in their packing bags to emphasize the usefulness. They are really terrific – especially for the price. I do have a couple of watchouts …If you are of a more athletic or thinner-bone-structure body type, the size is perfect. If you’re curvier/bustier, you need to order up a size.For the designers at Amazon: you need to make the packing bag a little bigger for the smaller-sized coats. It takes too much frustrating effort to “smush” the coat into the bag. It does eventually fit – but who wants to work that hard to do it, especially when they’re traveling?!? Ironically, I ordered the same thing for men and the bag was the perfect size (because it was ~1″ bigger in length and width). Fix that and this is a 5-star item!

Happy overall
Decent buy for the price. Collar bothered me a bit, stiffer and higher then last packable puffer I bought from another company. Bag it cones with to roll snd pack is too small and not worth the hassle to try and fit it in. Good quality and fits true to size.

Opting for a light-colored winter sporty coat, I chose this one as I already own the same style in black and love it. Having had similar Patagonia coats in the past, I don’t notice a significant difference, except for the price. It’s a straightforward coat that complements any outfit and effectively keeps me warm. Great especially for the price
Got the dark green color, which is more of a Kelly green, when it was on a limited time sale. For under $30, this is a really well-made jacket that is easy to pack and delivers decent warm. It wouldn’t be enough for a very cold day, maybe under 40°, but it works well for the fall and spring! Worth it for sure. I just keep waiting for it to be back in stock and another color that I’ve been wanting for sometime.

I was going to buy a North Face or Patagonia jacket but stumbled upon this one… decided to buy because of the price and color. Honestly it is a really great jacket… warmer than I thought too. Definitely a keeper and great for layering. I don’t think its warm enough for below zero though… will wear my NF for those days. Fit is spot on as well.

Is your basic lightweight jacket?
I like this jacket because it’s light white but it also comes with a pouch where you can roll up the jacket and carry it with you and make it portable so you can stick it in a bag but basically this jacket is very lightweight. Not big but not bulky and it’ll be good to wear on chili nights, but not good if it’s below zero so it service purpose when it’s more likely Late fall early winter but if it’s below zero I wouldn’t be counting on this as a winter coat it’s more of a jacket than anything, but I don’t regret this purchase. This is a must buy.

Great light weight coat
This is a nice light weight coat. I have worn it in sub zero weather and it has kept me warm. I wear layers under it to help insulate, but the material stops the wind from blowing through. The thing I really like about this coat is the pockets! They are so large and there are pockets on the inside that are just as large too! haven’t tried stuffing it in the bag yet and really don’t see the need for it in the near future.I have washed it and dried it in the dryer and it has come out just like new.

Cheap dupe for North Face

Lived up to the hype
I originally bought the large but the arms were not super comfortable so I gave it to my teen daughter. She is not a jacket person but she LOVES this jacket. Light weight warm jacket.
I wanted a jacket for the cooler but not cold days of winter that was light weight. This jacked is just what I was looking for. I am 5’3″ 118lb I usually purchase a small but purchased a medium; it is not too loose. I have a similar jacket in a small that is form fitting and it is not easy to wear over a sweater.

I ordered xx-large it was just right on the fit. I do have longish arms and the sleeve length is perfect for me. I could tell by the photo that the collar is raised. It’s a small annoyance for me because I have a rather short neck but it’s not that bad. The jacket is thin. It suits my needs but I wouldn’t think it would be warm enough for a really cold climate. Also, I think it would be rather easy to tear the fabric or even melt it.

Much better purchase than I anticipated.
I had purchased this jacket just to have a light, inexpensive jacket to wear around the house and for going to walk the dog and run to the store. This jacket is much better made than I thought it would be for the price and looks good with my track pants. Normally, I wear Eddie Bauer, Columbia or North Face, but I am pleased with this jacket so far and it is a fraction of the price of those. I wear a size medium in those brands and this as well. I found this jacket to be true to size.

Exactly as pictured
How often do you order something from Amazon and gave it look exactly as pictured? Not often. I ordered the olive and the color is exactly as shown. It’s very lightweight but warm. Perfect to wear to the gym and roll up in your gym bag. Great for winter if you don’t want a bulky coat while in the car and then to carry around while in a store. It fits in your purse! Sizing for me was off but I don’t see that in any other reviews so maybe it’s just mine. I’m wear a small in everything. I’m 5’4” and 120#. I ordered a med so I could wear a sweater or sweatshirt under it. The medium fits with just enough room to wear a thin sweater under it. .

Good poofy coat for the price
Initial impression straight out of the package was that the fabric felt a bit stiff, but otherwise, ok. Now, after having worn it for a couple weeks, I can highly recommend this one. Yes, it does feel a bit stiff to start, but I found that stuffing it in the sack provided for a day or so, then removing it seemed to really help. Now, it is much less stiff, and feels better. The fit is good. I ordered an XL, and I am 4’11” and right at 200 lbs. I will say the cut is quite boxy, but, frankly, this isn’t a problem for me. Coat is great alone, or as an insulation layer under an overcoat. If there was thing to improve, it would be the feel of the fabric. Previous poofy coats I’ve owned felt softer, and therefore, more comfortable. All in all, this one is totally worth the price, and should serve the purpose nicely.

A little small for me, but recommended
Definitely measure yourself before buying. I was on the fence about the XXL vs 3x. Based on reviews I got the 2x. I am short and carry my extra weight around my middle- hips, waist, bum. Think round. So the 2x did not fit well enough to comfortably zip it up. I will return this one and watch for the 3x come available. Or lose weight. Otherwise this is a great jacket. My husband wore his camping in North GA. It was the perfect jacket for a rainy, windy, Fall weekend. He has no body fat and is always cold, but the men’s XL kept his core plenty warm.

Pretty jacket, good color match and fits nicely. No issues with stiching or the sipper. Very lightweight. It’s just not as warm as I expected. I haven’t owned this type of jacket before but I was assuming it would be a little warmer. It is perfect for moderatly cold days.

Lightweight, warm and comfortable
Great fit and warm for a lightweight jacket.Love that it is packable and the bag is attached inside the jacket. Would be a 5 star rating if easier to pack. The sack is about 1″ too small. Plan ahead and don’t rush trying to pack in the sack. Really have to squeeze the air out and be methodical to get it in the sack. I would buy this jacket again.

perfect travel jacket
After freezing on one trip where the weather was supposed to be warm, I always pack a light down jacket. Always. My go-to travel down is now too ratty, so this was a replacement and it worked out fine. Note, this jacket has polyester fill rather than down, but it’s still light, warm and squeezable.With a sweater and scarf, it keeps me toasty into the high forties. Left open over a dress or t-shirt, it acts like a light sweater.One excellent feature is the two long interior pockets. They’re deep enough that stuff doesn’t fall out, perfect for passport, wallet, phone or boarding passes. Because they’re deep and inside, the pockets are pretty (completely?) pickpocket-proof, yet easily accessible.I did not find the fit boxy as some have. It’s fairly flattering, and I love the dark green color I got.

I love this coat!
This coat is so much warmer than I expected! It fits true to size and is very well made. It is easy to clean and packs down small (in the stuff sack that was included with it.) A great coat for a great value!

I Love this Jacket
Buy your normal size…it Fits perfect. True to size. I feared that these might run a bit small for me, so at first I bought a man’s, Navy 2X, (also bought the hubby one) I normally size down one size to fit in a man size. It was too small in the waist and the arms were 6 inches too long. I came back to the womens department still fearing it would be too snug, so I jumped up a size to a 4X Camel cheetah and to my surprise it was huge on me, but pretty. Finally I bought the only color in my actual size, the 3X blue cheetah and it fits wonderfully with room to breathe and wear a sweater if I wished. The fabric feels soft and silky. The jacket is very lightweight and the print is far prettier in person than imagined. You can hardly tell the print until you’re in the sunshine. I recommend you purchase your usual size. These seem to be designed to give you room for movement and layers.

I wanted real down, but was pleasantly surprised by this jacket
I had been looking at navy puffer jackets for over a year. I was convinced that I wanted real down and kept looking for the right one. After discovering that down is getting harder and harder to find, I decided to try this very reasonably priced option. After wearing it for over a month, I’m very impressed. I live in Michigan and I wanted something warm enough to throw over a sweatshirt, but not so heavy that you had to take it off when grocery shopping, etc. I have tested this in 40 degrees down to -5. It completely blocks wind/breeze and I was comfortable in it outside at those temperatures. (I did not stay in the -5 degrees very long, but it was comfortable enough to walk to my car and drive home in the cold and snow.) The only con I’ve noticed is that it’s not very breathable, so wear base layers that breathe. For jogging/hiking, you’ll want the option to unzip.

Meant for my hot flashes lol
I’ve gotten through the winter so far with this ‘spring’ jacket. I get so overly hot in the car or in stores with my pricey Eddie Bauer down coat…I needed something to wear that didn’t overheat me. I won’t lie–it’s not going to block your arctic, polar vortex wind. I haven’t been out in the rain in it, but I did brush off the car in the snow and it dried out inside the house, pretty quickly. Honestly it’s one of the best $30-ish I’ve spent all year. I wouldn’t have gotten it unless it was on sale either, as I didn’t think I *needed* another jacket. I’ve been happy to have this even if it’s not fancy and more princess-y seamed. Not in my size anyways. lol
