Zippers poor quality
Bought this for my son to use for school. Bag itself is great quality, but after 7 months of actual use 1 zipper has pulled away from the bag and 2 zippers have split and can no longer zip, rendering the bag completely and utterly useless. The amount of pockets are fantastic though 🙂

SUPER Durable backpack
In early 2020 we purchased this backpack for our son as he started high school. Since it was large enough for him to fit all his books and supplies, we figured it would last out the year and we would get him a new one for the next year. Little did we realize that this backpack would last ALL 4 YEARS and into college!! He still has this backpack in college and it is no worse for the wear! We have been through many backpacks with our 2 kids such as Jansport, Quicksilver, and various other character type backpacks we bought. They would fall apart after a year or so of use. I still cannot believe how durable this backpack has been. I purchased one for myself for travel and was able to take a trip to visit my son at college using only that backpack for all my stuff. This is a durable, and quality backpack I would highly recommend! I am not easily impressed, but this backpack has won me over! As my son is home for Christmas break, I was able to take a current picture (12/21/2023) of this backpack. As you can see, it has held up well to daily beatings (being over full and packed until seams were stretching) by my son and it still lives to serve him in college! Cheers!

Lots of extra space!
This is a high-capacity backpack. Tons of room! I actually lost a pair of gloves in this backpack for 2 days. So many compartments. Now, this pack without modifications will fall lower on your back. Feels odd to carry it this way. But I ordered some carabiners. There are two slats one on each side of the straps where I attached the carabiners. By clicking them together I was able to get the straps to cling together and make a snug, tight fit on my upper chest. This eliminated the necessity of holding by hand the straps one on each side, to keep the backpack resting high. Worked perfectly. High marks. I would buy another one.

Zipper broke and came unstitched. *Updated!
Backpack with tons of room. I would have given 5 stars but 2 weeks after my daughter started using it, 1 of the zippers broke and came unstitched.*UPDATE: seller reached out and offered to replace the backpack due to zipper issues. We received the replacement within 3 days. They were very nice and understanding thru the communication. Even with the small issue will still use this company in the future. My son has had no issues with his that he received.

This bag can handle the milage, but has some drawbacks
I bought this back back in Nov of 2018, going on 4 years this bag has served as my daily work back pack and Travel carry-on bag. I will say for the $70 I payed for it, I have certainly got my moneys worth. However there are some things about the bag that I am displeased with as I will explain.1) The bag is not rigid like the picture would suggest, when the bag is empty its is flat and will not stand up on its own2) I like the idea of a lot of compartments but sometimes its hard to tell what compartment something is in and I end up opening up the wrong one looking for my gear3) Unless your laptop is a chunker it will most likely not be really secure in the laptop pocket. Yes the Velcro strap is there but it leaves a lot to be desired in keeping devices from moving around.4) Weight distribution, unless you have a heavy enough device in the pocket next to your back the backpack will pull and it can cause me lower back pain. I have a camera bag for my DSLR that holds 2 lenses as well which are not super heavy and if they are put in the bigger compartment the bag design just doesnt have enough support.5) The pictures for the bag show a full compartment with towels and other garments, there is no way that zipper is closing on that bag.6) the mesh side pockets do well to hold cans or bottles but larger bottles tend to get pushed up enough when set down that the bottle nearly falls out or does fall out when picking up my bag.7) I feel that the USB slot makes this bag impossible to wash. I also hardly used it as there really isn’t a great place for your battery bank in the compartment where the cable to the port goes.8) Front Compartment, there is no rigidness to the back of the front compartment where you could store tools and keys. This can cause things stored in the compartment put pressure on USB’s or HDD’s that could break. The front flap is rigid so it adds more pressure to things if being pushed from behind.9) Side pockets above mesh almost useless, if you put a charger or anything with some heft in the side pocket it will hamper your ability to use the mesh pockets. Also too deep for most people to reach in and retrieve things.So these are the flaws, what makes this bag good? Why 4 stars if there are so many issues with this bag? Because after 30 thousand miles of travel minimum, this bag is only getting replaced because something more suited to my needs came along. This bag has held up extremely well with the amount of mileage it has seen. 10 different airports, hundreds of miles on trains and cars, this bag can take the daily abuse. So let me tell you what is good about this.1) Plenty of space, I have taken this and one other carry-on for an entire 2 week trip to Europe and it had room for almost everything I needed to access on the flight easily.2) Well made, minus a few places where daily use shows I would be confident taking this bag on a trip again and holding all my needs.3) USB port. I know I didn’t use it a lot but it is a nice thing to have if you are really on the go a lot and don’t have access to a plug most of the day4) Shoulder comfort. Its is more comfortable than most backpacks I have used and didnt chafe the neck and shoulder area like others have.All in all would I recommend this bag? Yes, it will suit most peoples needs and stand the test of time. It would be on my list of ones to consider purchasing again if I needed to but as I have found something better suited to my needs I have to put mine into retirement for now. Who knows it may get use again that’s how good it has been.

way beyond expectations
the reviews on this were really good, so I jumped. The backpack I had was just so full that I could put no more and it was really hard getting things in and out of it. Found this one the same color as my old one but a lot bigger, and when I say bigger I mean BIGGER. All of the same items in the old one in this one and I still have lots of room. Besides all of the items that go with technology, like cords etc, I now carry, a remarkable 2, a mini Ipad and a laptop all of these are in the same compartment with room left over. I was really worried about how it would feel to carry the back pack. I haven’t really done that yet, will this week, but I did try it out and what I noticed is that the weight is even distributed and that the back pack handles are very wide which protected my shoulder, for the few minutes I put it on. If that does not work well I will come back and state it.

Well built. Holds my old heavy 15.5 inch laptop-but falls over from the weight
This appears very well built. With my old heavy laptop in the back pocket it will not stay upright even with the other pockets holding spare cables hard drives, etc.I wish it had coated zipper tabs, but I can attach extenders later.Also the two side mesh pockets do not have draw strings, they appear to only hold water bottles, so putting small jump drives, ear pieces or similar, is not recommended-use the small zipper pockets right above them.I am satisfied with this backpack.

3+ years later, this backpack is still going strong
I’ve had this backpack since 2019 and I’ve taken it to quite a few places. The first time I ordered it, the zippers immediately broke so I was sent a replacement, but I haven’t had any issues since. The zippers, mesh, pockets, etc. all are running very smoothly, even though I’m a chronic over-stuffer.In the beginning of 2019, I packed this backpack and took it to Europe for about three months. It was my only luggage as I traveled cross-country via bus and plane, hostels and hotel rooms. Conclusion? This thing is HEFTY and can fit a lot of stuff.Over the years, I’ve used it as my carry-on luggage for what amounts to maybe 30-40 trips now, and I also use it for short local weeklong trips, too. When it’s overstuffed, it’s too big to fit below the seat, so I mostly used it as an upper bin bag. It’s slammed along the bottom of over a dozen bus carriages, trekked through wet, humid, and dry conditions, and it still looks great. I’d say it’s even stretched out a few inches over the years.Here are a few things you should know:- I wore this as I walked the misty, rainy streets of Edinburgh and the clothes inside remained dry.- I’ve had to run to catch planes in-between quick layovers, sweating as I raced to catch my plane, and the straps have excellent wicking capabilities, because it’s never smelled.There is a clamshell backing compartment that opens completely flat which is great for electronics. For me, it fits all of this:-12.5″ Dell laptop-11″ MacBook with padded holder-A paperback book or 1-2 magazines- 8″ tablet readerI can also sometimes cram my laptop fan, but sometimes not, if I pack too many clothes.That compartment is about 2.5″ W x 17″H closed. Frankly, it doesn’t have a lot of give, so I try not to add additional items to that side.-There are two pockets in the side that have zippers, usually I add water bottles here, but you could also add shoes or dirty socks inside the zippered areas.-The largest compartment measures around 6.5″ W x 16″ H, though it has stretched out over the years.Here’s a sample of clothes I can pack here when rolled them; rolled and wrapped a measuring tape around each piece of clothing to get the diameter, then measured the height (before I squish it all together):-1 pair of sweat pants 10″ x 4″-1 sweater 9″ x 3.5″-2 pairs of pants, one at 11″ x 4″ and 10″ x 3.5″-1 sweater dress at 10″ x 6″-1 pair of tights at 5″ x 3″-1 sweater at 11″ x 6″Then a packing cube with various undergarments (3 pairs of socks, 3 pairs of underwear) and two long-sleeved shirts at 11″ x 4.5″-And that leaves an empty space for more at 7″ x 5″ I put a few pairs of socks and a Google Nest in, but it’s still not packed snuggly.-Then there’s an additional flap, where I usually add a small toiletry bag with soap, shampoo, toothbrush/toothpaste, etc.-There’s another small clamshell pocket where you can put pens, and there’s a key ring so your keys don’t get lost inside your bag.-There’s an additional zippered pocket where I put my passport and extra TSA locks.There are straps on each side that I’ve pre-measured out so that if I want, I can fit the bag under a domestic airline seat. With all of the above mentioned, there’s room to spare for a few more things.Instead of adding toiletries to the end pockets, they would fit at the top of the pack and make it nice and snug. Enough clothes for 3-7 days, easily, depending on what you pack.-And to the handle, I’ll usually wrap a scarf and neck pillow, or a jacket for the flight.And here are your caveats:-The more you pack those two deep pockets (clothes and electronics), the less space you’ll have to pack anything else in the extra pockets.-If packing for underneath a seat, you can’t have much in any of the other pockets or side mesh holders.-The bag is designed so you have to put some things in each of the two large compartments, you can’t just fill up the larger one with clothes. It will gap and you’ll find you’re wasting space.-The straps are very thick and not particularly comfortable, especially when the bag is full, for a smaller frame like mine (5’3″).Recently, I’m entertaining the idea of switching out this backpack because of my own back lol. I need to downgrade to a rolling checked bag and get a smaller, lightweight backpack for my electronics since I WFH now and need to bring a bit more gear than I used to. But I continue to take this pack when I’m spending the night somewhere for a few days, and I would definitely consider taking it on a short trip if I didn’t need to bring my work equipment.Maybe I’ll come back in a couple of years and let you know how I’m using it at that time!

Excellent bag for carrying multiple items, especially if travelling for work
Carrying a laptop, paperwork, cables, drink and snacks whilst travelling around the country to meetings etc, can be a real trial.This rucksack/backpack has pretty-well all the features I need to do the above and has has lots of pockets and sections to keep things organised. It’s also both lightweight and comfortable at the same time.I do have three minor criticisms/observations;Firstly, it would be great to have a simple zip locking system incorporated for the small front-pocket compartments in particular as they are really vulnerable when your bag is on a [train] seat next to you or in a crowd. I have bought mini carabiners to hook into the small elastic loop beside the zips and through the zip tag hole.Secondly, in the main front compartment (the big zip, not the pockets) there really could be some additional dividers, possibly velcro’d in so they can be removed if required.Lastly, there is a handy USB socket on the outside and a cable inside for a battery power pack, plus a small pocket inside to put the battery-pack in – but the pocket is tiny! Whilst small, low capacity power packs are available, bigger, higher-capacity power packs are really common because of the requirements for bigger phones/tablets so a bigger pocket is a bit of a no-brainer.Aside from those observations, the bag is excellent and highly recommended.

I love this bag , it does what it says on the can – there is plenty of room for my gym kit (2 towels, etc) Study books, work stuff – including laptop and packed lunch.There is plenty of pockets which is a blessing and a curse – I can never find anything !!I would definitely recommend this bag to anyone !!

This backpack is great. Lots of space, lots of pockets.Two minor complaints:1) Doesn’t have a chest strap to link the shoulder straps together. If you’re carrying a lot of weight it would really help (I bought an add-on strap that works well)2) There’s no clip available at the top of the main compartment. Only the zipper. If you have something sticking out the top of the backup, the zippers will slowly open up, all the way down the sides, until the backpack is WIDE open.But overall I’m happy with it.

Amazing backpack
Ordered this for my son as his school bag. He needed something that had a large capacity and was “fit for purpose”.We are really pleased with this backpack, not only does it have numerous compartments for all his odds and ends, the main bag is large enough for his laptop & all his books. Being able to open the bag out flat makes all the difference as nothing lies hidden in the deep recesses of the bag ! It has a great grab handle on the top, and the straps are comfortable on the shoulders. He loves the USB charging point & and earphone gizmo. The material looks strong enough to suffer the rigours of school life. All in all a great buy.
