    I love these candles

    I believe most people know that Yankee Candles are amazing, so this review feels a little redundant. But they smell amazing and last a long time. My favorite scents are the spicy fall scents, but this time I got the dried lavender and oak and it smells so good! I have never been disappointed by a Yankee Candle.

    Bought Two Candles, one survived, one didn’t!

    This is an excellent candle of the highest quality. Easily over $25 at your local retailer. Buy two, and get same day shipping. Why not? It’s almost the same as buying in the store, except you’re saving about $20.Only gripe is one candle arrived in the manufacturer packing, and the other came in a NON PADDED Amazon envelope. Umm hello? I’ve had cotton balls come in padded envelopes. Lol.Obviously the one in the Amazon paper sleeve was busted up. What is also unfortunate is that it’s the one I was looking forward to burning today. First world problems, am I right?

    This item arrived in a speedy manner. It was sent as a replacement after the first candle sent to me was not packaged properly and so the glass jar was broken.     I usually only buy Lavender and Vanilla candles (yes, I know, I’m very fussy). I buy Yankee Candles regular Lavender, so when I saw this one I tried it. It is fantastic. Not overpowering, and a (for me) unique scent. Already going to order 2 more. I hope this is a ‘permanent’ scent from them (sales will tell).

    Yankee Candles are always a solid purchase!

    Yankee candles are long lasting and deliver a clean, crisp fragrance that fills the house. Cheaper candles have a “watered down” smell that doesn’t fill the room. Cheaper candles also burn down quickly and don’t last as long. Yankee candles make great gifts because the labels are always beautiful and candles come in thick glass containers.

    Low, slow burn

    I usually love Yankee candles. This candle was a flop. You could hardly see the flame. It just burnt into a small hole all the way down and there wasn’t any scent I could smell.

    Great candle!

    I bought this candle because a friend suggested I get one. This was my first Yankee Candle. I was really impressed at the lovely scent. It did take a couple of hours for the candle to really ‘burn in’, but once it did the scent was filling my 300 sq. ft. room where it is located. I will be purchasing more Yankee Candles in the future.

    Yummy Vanilla Tapioca Pudding Scented to us

    Pro: I purchased this brand and Vanilla Cupcake candle because I wanted to freshen up my apartment and also have an emergency power outage candle for when we have those California rolling blackouts to prevent electrical fires during summer heatwaves when air-conditioners are in high use. I don’t have one of those, but everyone is affected when our power company has to do it. I can rest easy with this candle in its own glass jar and it has a strong scent within a half hour of burning it that I’m not allergic to and my partner said he thinks it smells like a vanilla tapioca pudding rather than a cupcake, and I agree. My small senior apartment complex isn’t allowed to have candles that aren’t in a safe heat resistant glass container so this is perfect. It is important to trim the wick prior to using it and each time thereafter to 1/4″. Instructions are listed on the product box. Keep out of drafts to lessen the wick smoking and extend the life of the candle.Con: We moved the candle from the bedroom to the living room (which is much larger) because the candle scent becomes very noticeable after about 20 minutes or less in each room. If you have a larger home (mine is 600 sq. ft.) it may take longer to fill the entire home. I’m not sure if that’s a pro or a con, but I mention it because I suspect it depends more on how long you want to enjoy the pleasant light. I highly recommended it even though we are both sensitive to all fragrances. Hope that helps folks decide. I have enjoyed the second one I purchased even more because the weather has been pleasant enough to leave the windows open. Definitely a positive for me now!

    Lovely scent

    I am happy with the amount of scent being put out when using the candle. I can smell it, but it doesn’t overpower the room.This candle burns evenly. I don’t know if it is because of the glass jar or not, but the entire candle burns. It doesn’t just burn in the center and leave you with extra wax on the outside of the candle.

    Scent is great-Value not so great

    Love the scent, but I think I get better value at local brick and mortar grocery store.I should have used my tape measure before buying. I thought this candle was going to be larger, similar to what I buy at local grocery store.Scent was so good though!
