Great fit and structure
The harness is super easy to clean and is quite squishy offers nice support on chest so not choking. Only thing I would say is if your dog is prone to try backing out of harnesses they may be able to get out of this one. My dog hasn’t yet but has tried to but we stopped him before he could. Other than that the harness is really good and adjusts nicely too.

very well made
I’m a bit indecisive as to whether to give 4 or 5 stars. I ordered 3 of these all the same size and when they arrived I was totally surprised by the quality of the fabric used to make them and the way they have been put together. Strong, straight stitching, good reflective material and the overall material is very strong with a soft inner lining. The straps around the middle of the dog are no problem to adjust to just the right length.It is the front straps I am having a little difficulty with. These harnesses have to go over the dogs head so if tightened too much then this would be a struggle. But now I have used them a few times I find that the harness tends to slip around to the side when the dog pulls. Now I am working on the pulling bit and am very pleased with the front ring as this makes so much difference – they cannot pull as hard but I also think that if I could tighten the front a bit more then the whole thing would not slip around. Maybe two more opening clasps would have been the answer. This is not meant to put you off just what i have found. I will continue using them.

Can’t fault the harness.
Bought this after reading loads of reviews starting with the 1* and working up.Bought a medium for a four month mini doodle weighing 7 kgs.The harness is fully adjustable (tho some reviewers seem to think the neck isn’t 🤪). Harness is padded with good width straps.I purchased a medium with growth in mind and this one will last him for years.Lovely colour (I might have to buy another colour!).Lead clip and body clips are substantial.Thought the price was very reasonably priced and of equitable quality to brands used by doggy friends.Best of all – puppy likes wearing it.

Quality, Easy Adjustment, Built To Last, Comfortable Great Colours, Washable.
We purchased our first Truelove Dog Harness in July 2016 for our adopted German Shepherd. Easy to adjust, and it was put through it’s paces, both in dry warm days, torrential downpours, snow blizzards, even been dunked in lakes, ponds, streams and the North Sea on many occasions.Though washed a few times, dried, and reused on a daily basis at least twice a day, it’s never had any issues such as broken clips, D Rings, or rusted components, and unlike others, the stitching has remained intact.Hence purchasing a new Red coloured one for my Alusky named Kodi.He’s a large hybrid dog, part Alaskan Malamute/ Siberian Husky, in a stunning Wolf Grey mix, the bright red Truelove Harness contrasting nicely against his thick fur coat.Though the original Black Harness is still useable, it’s starting to show it’s age, to be honest, I’m impressed that it’s lasted so long, especially when others have failed, not bad for something purchased in July 2016, and used seven days a week 365 days a year.Highly recommend, and a quality item that is priced fairly.

Very Happy 🐶🐶
I haven’t walked my boy in it yet, but first impressions are good.I would agree with other reviews that it is fiddly to adjust, but once it’s done it’s done. It wasn’t a traumatic experience by any means 😂I have medium/large size boy, 20kg, with a very deep chest (like a greyhound) and I risked buying a medium. Fits him fine, although it was at its limit on the girth size, but it’s definitely still roomy for him. So I would say that these seem more true to size than other brands.The reflective material also works well, so can’t complain there. The metal D and O rings seem strong, but I would say that the back handle seems a bit cheap, although I reckon it will still hold. Stitching seems very good on here, nicely padded, the webbing on the inside is a lovely touch and makes its feel softer on the dog thank regular nylon lined harnesses.Dog has had no issue with it since having it on, hasn’t chewed at it, so it’s not irritating him in any way, and has a lot of room in it to comfortably lay down and move his legs.One last thing I would add is that, the shape of the front of this harness is definitely a plus for me, as his previous halti rope harness rubbed his armpits red raw. The way this one is designed, it doesn’t go anywhere near the armpit area and is extremely unlikely to rub anywhere.All in all, initial impressions are very good. We shall out it to the test on tomorrow’s walk 🐶🐶

Excellent Product still after 1 year in use!
Update: 1 year later – this harness is still going strong, used daily on long country walks, little to no wear or tear as yet, has been an excellent investment!Original review:This is a really well made sturdy harness. If I picked this off the shelf and seen the quality and the price, I would snap this up! It’s really good!I have looked at a lot of harnesses, both online and on the shelf and took the gamble on this one as it was a really good price and also because I got fed up looking while my poor dog was out growing his current one too quickly while I read reviews! So I took the plunge and to be honest I wasn’t expecting much but wow was I pleasantly surprised when it arrived!First impression – has some weight to it (the rings and ladder buckles are actually metal, not plastic, really pleased with this as I worry about a harness breaking) and it is really very well made, you can tug at the rings and see there is no give, stitching is strong and neat. The inside is slightly padded and you can see it is made for the comfort of your dog (I have taken some pictures of the underside to show this, no raw edges etc that could rub on the dogs skin or cause discomfort)The reflective parts (piping and stitching) are ultra-reflective, this is really important feature for us as we walk our dog on country roads sometimes in the dark. I do think to maintain the reflective quality it will have to be washed down occasionally in case mud etc mask the reflective stitching & piping.Dogs first impression! – our dog was used to a strap harness and before that a light mesh harness so this was relatively heavy by comparison. I will say he wasn’t impressed at first; he refused to move, I guess this was heavy with much more cover than he was used to. But once we got him out with it he was fine and got used it quickly.Adjusting – I know some of the reviews say this can be difficult, it can be adjusted when on if your dog will stay still, if not then it might be a little bit more difficult but like the other reviewers say, when you have it to the right size that’s it done. We were able to do the adjustments while he wore it.Size – bought medium for large King Charles, on largest setting fits nicely, if he grows, we will have to upsize but for now fits comfortably. This harness fits over the neck and fastens at each side on the chest.Clip fastens at the side are plastic but seem sturdy. All other rings and buckles are metal. There is a nice little hand hold feature on the top of the harness, not sure how useful this is for a small or medium dog but maybe good if you were sitting down. On the medium size it is good for 3 fingers, not a hand but presumably on larger sizes this becomes bigger as the harness size gets bigger.To summarise, we are very pleased with this purchase, it’s a well-made and sturdy piece, colour is great, reflective features work well and this is well worth the money. Buying the matching lead now!I will update on the durability shortly, we take our dog on long daily walks and he is eager to get going until the last so this harness will be put through its paces very very quickly!

Fits perfectly as per sizing chart.
I ordered XL harness for my staffy after following the measurements provided by seller. Fits perfectly, can loosen or tighten as needed, fits comfortably and looks nice. Just arrived so haven’t used it yet but seems very good quality, well made, all stitching is good, no signs of anywhere that could fray (after reading a couple of reviews). Also bought the collar in Large and the lead to match.

Nice harness, well made, head area a bit difficult to get on.
This is a nice harness, well made and looks good on my cocker spaniel (I got the medium size). I like that it’s non restrictive on leg movements. It’s well padded and having the two rings is helpful.One downside I’ve found is it can be a bit hard to get our dogs head through the neck hole, I’ve had to loosen it off a bit so when he’s wearing the harness it looks a bit loose around the neck but if it’s done up any tighter we have issues getting his head through the hole. I think this isn’t helped by his ears because of his breed he has big floppy ears. If this harness could be made so that you can undo the neck part with a clip it would be so much better and easier to get on an off. But if you have a dog with smaller ears/head this may not be an issue.

New Harness was needed for our Shiba Inu
This harness was bought as a replacement for a well used Julius K9 harness for your Shiba Inu. The Julius harness was starting to irritate the skin under her front legs so we requited something with a bit more padding in this area.So far so good she seems comfortable in the harness itself so will see how it lasts during the winter months. Good price also so would be happy to buy another in the future if needed.

Good for a pulling pup
My boy is six months old and loves to test the limits of his lead. For that reason I didn’t want something that causes rubbing under his legs, so far we’re good on this. The front ring is also great for training him to walk to heel on the lead.As my lad (cockapoo) is still young he just about fits in the medium harness if I have it adjusted almost as small as it’ll go around the shoulders, around the chest I have it adjusted to be at the small end of the range of the harness too. I needed to make considerations for the stretch of the ‘shock absorber’ when fitting it otherwise it was a bit loose. I think this will last him a lifetime as he shouldn’t grow out of it and it seems to be very sturdy.

Easy to fit and adaptable
We have had a few of these.I love the different colours.We did have one where the strap broke which has made me a bit more cautious though. The issue is my dog likes to lie on her back and scrapes the top of the harness.The front loop is great for training with the lead to stop pulling.

Small Sizes
WE have a 17 week old Husky and using the size guide went for a Medium, hardly fitted at all,very tight. ordered the Large, extended all the straps to as long as they would go to find out he would outgrow it in a matter of weeks. Now going XL and go to the smallest setting with room to grow into it.Watch out for the next review.Overall, great quality, comfort, everything about it is great, just the sizing is way off.

This has been a great harness 😊We have a small springer spaniel and this is easy to put on and stays on even when she’s running through the undergrowth It’s been well tested we use it every day and although not a lovely colour anymore has held up well to a dog that doesn’t understand the meaning of “walk” everything’s done at breakneck speed It’s sturdy has a great little handle on top to grab her with and she’s never wriggled out of it I would recommend this harness

Sizing is wrong!
I bought this in a medium after carefully measuring the pooch. She was right in the middle of the measurements range for a size M. It has just arrived and on the loosest fitting it won’t go anywhere near her, it’s tiny! Luckily it fits our puppy so i will use it for her until she grows out of it. If I re-order for Daphne I think I will need and XL, which according to the stated measurements should be miles too big. it is a lovely hot pink colour and seems sturdy and very well made, other than the sizing.

BRILLIANT STRONG HARNESS
This is our third harness. Really good strong harness that’s easy to alter for sizing.It’s simple it’s strong it looks good. Never mind ones with fancy claims and big ugly writing on the side (you know which I mean) this does the job well.The other two didn’t wear out but my lab likes to bite at the front as she’s so excited at going for a walk!! She goes twice a day but each time seems like the first!!!Quick delivery and well packaged too. Lovely firm to deal with.

This harness is well made, has useful handle and good adjustment, however it really needs a clip around the neck part as my dog hates having to squeeze her head through the hole to put it on and off. Putting the harness on becomes a distressing wrestling match.

Super smart
Nicely constructed harnesses. Bought 2 for our Miniature Pinschers which are quite tricky to get a well fitted harness for. I paid three times the price of this one for our wee girl and when our new pup arrived I enquired about a harness from the same company but the increase in price has taken it out of my price range so after a lot of comparing of harnesses I opted for these. They have a good amount of adjustment options for both the neckline and the girth. The clips appear to be made out of a robust material and there is a chest and back lead attachment point which is good. The handy grab handle on the back of the harness is also a good idea and feels well secured. I love the reflective detailing on these harnesses which makes evening walks so much safer.I can’t comment on durability yet as only had for a couple of weeks but I do expect them to last well. The only issue I have noticed is if you have a head shy dog this fits over the head which may be a bit stressful and I would probably have chosen a clip at neckline if I were designing my own but it’s not a big deal. I am still very happy with my purchases and the dogs seem happy to wear them for going on walks.

Perfect fit!
Ordered yesterday evening, came this morning. Well packaged. Fully adjustable, doesn’t rub under his armpits like a lot of harnesses do. Very strong, looks comfortable. Fits on easily over the head. True love harness and lead
This is the 3rd I have bought of each. First time for my last dog and it was so good in black I got a 2nd in blue. When we got our pup we allowed him to grow and at 7 months we bought another although we only needed a small – so I have bought in black again. Great product.

True love royal blue reflective harness & lead
The delivery was quick and in good condition .The harness is durable, a nice fit for my dog. I like the reflective element of it as it’s getting darker ai use it mornings & evenings in Autumn & Winter. Was looking for a new harness for one of our 3. Ordered this one and am delighted with it. Fits lovely, great quality and colour is fab. Will definately be purchasing for our other 2.

Sturdy harness
Helps enormously as my dog tends to pull on a walk. Useful grab handle. Seems to be comfortable for her. Easy to get on and off

Great quality, no neck clip
Unfortunately it was too big for our puppy, but we were pleasantly surprised by how good the quality of the harness was. Very sturdy and good material. Only clips were on the waist area, not on the neck, so sliding on was easy sliding off was more difficult. Would be a huge problem if you dogs head and neck were same size, but we had to loosen the neck to get it off, and was time consuming the one time we tried.

Sturdy, well made
Recommended this by a few people at a dog training class as it is good for dogs who pull or leap, I have a Truelove collar which is good quality so was happy to buy this. It has a lead connector at the chest and one at the back, plus a handle. Unfortunately, as my dog has short legs (corgi mix) the front loop is just too near the ground and she trips over the lead constantly. Much more suitable for a Labrador or taller breed. I am using it, I only swap to the front loop if she is getting too excitable, the back loop is fine, good quality harness. It’s taken her a while to get used to it being slipped over her head as our last one was front-paw access. I am going to try it with a zero shock lead as it’s shorter and might not hang so low.

Fitted both pug girls perfectly. Easily adjustable. Beautiful bright fuschia colour and easy to put on and take off. Nelly and Nora appear to be quite comfortable wearing these sturdy harnesses.

A good quality harness
We already have a similar harness and have been very pleased with it. Due to the volume of rain recently, we wanted a second harness to avoid putting on a wet / damp harness every morning. Given the quality and sturdiness of the first harness, we did not hesitate to buy a second one.
