No Longer Worried About Quality…
I own a T4MO; love it. I got the T5 for the smaller brim, for golf. The hat arrived quickly — 2 days — but I noticed immediately that the crown was tilted to one side and the brim was stitched off-center. No Tilley tag in the back of the hat. Quality on the T4MO was better. The T5 fit a little looser than the T4. So, a defective hat and now returned. I will try again and hope this was a fluke. I will update this review later after I get a replacement.UPDATE #1 – I have re-ordered the same hat; it should arrive in a couple of days. I called and spoke to a Tilley Customer Service rep who reassured me that the hat is put together by hand and should be the same quality as my T4MO. I inquired about the Tilley tag on the back of the hat and she said “the new hats have it; the old ones don’t.” So the hat I returned was apparently old stock, FWIW.UPDATE #2 – New hat arrived and is perfect. Love it! Thank you Tilley and Amazon!

100% Satisfied. Better than I could have hoped.
I’ve only had the hat for a month but I’ve worn it at the beach, golfing, hiking and on a rockfish fishing charter. It has performed perfectly. The biggest surprise was how much I liked golfing with it on. I thouhgt I’d miss my standard ball cap. The Tilley was cooler, and I was playing in 95 degree humid weather. I’m 100% satisfied. It fits perfectly, by following directions on the manufacturer’s website.

Tilley always gets it right!
I’ve purchased my share of Tilley hats and this one did not disappoint! Purchased for my son who was moving to Arizona. I knew he would be doing a lot of hiking. This hat and a personal GPS, (mama bear), were the two essential items I wanted for him. This hat is so stylish, he was wearing it before he made the move. He now wears it on every hike and anytime he will be spending time outside. He boasts about the air that runs through the hat keeping your head cool while shielding from the sun. Per Tilley, the hat also has an area to store something small inside, such as identification, etc.
