Segal Loves this product and flavor
The media could not be loaded.
I’d adopted Segal, 3 years ago from CACC when the Bissell Pet Foundation Empty(BPF) The Shelters paying $50.00 towards the adoption. Please if possible buy Bissell products to which a portion of the sales go to the BPF. He has never ate dry food by itself. I had to add wet dog food, or olive oil or some sort of dry food topping and actually mixing the food topper w/the dry food. I was shocked when he actually ate a few from my hand. Especiall was amazed seeing him enjoying himself eating the kibbles with no topping. But again, this was the first meal with kibbles. I will update if something changes.

As per a lot of products this size is hard to find. Having a tiny dog it lasts awhile and she will not eat it if it lasts to long.

Nice fast delivery
Fed the dogs in the evening. Realized there would not be enough for breakfast the next day. Amazon to the rescue! While not the best value per ounce, and my unwillingness to fight thru grocery store madness, this arrived next day so my furry friends would not starve 😆 Very pleased 🐶

Cheap Kibble to help a pup gain weight
We rescued a pup that was severly thin. We used this for a couple of weeks to get weight on him. He is eating the normal kibble we feed the pups and he is starting to fill out.

Dogs seem to enjoy it
I’ve got 5 dogs and recently tried switching to some cheaper brands. This is the one they finally picked. Feel like most cheaper food upsets my dogs stomach but they all seem to be taking this fine. 2 Great Danes and 3 GSP. Both breeds do well and they seem to enjoy the taste of it.So overall if you are looking for a cheaper food but not willing to go to like Gravy Train cheap I would recommend trying this brand

My fussy dog eats it!
Unfortunately, since USPS is who the delivery is supposed to be made by and they say the package is to big to deliver so I had to go to the post office! Even tho they said my mailbox is to small, and that’s why I had to pick it up! I will no longer be able to use Subscribe and save. Maybe they should use UPS or FED-EX!

Makes breath stinky!
My puppy is growing up! We switched foods because of a little bit of a financial struggle for us. This was always used in my parents household growing up and their dogs loved it! But now that Im out of the house on my own, My dogs breath went from good and not stinky, To absolutely putrid! He does however love it when its mixed with water! It is a GREAT dog food! Just make sure you have dentastix or brush your doggos teeth!

The most for your money
I use this in bulk to feed stray doggies around my area. It’s the best priced food I’ve found regularly. My officially adopted doggies love it too. I often catch them sneaking around to the front of my house where I have a bowl set up for one of the strays to see if there is any left. I’m sure the fact that they are consuming more food is part of it, but they are gaining weight like crazy since I started feeding front. Honestly there shouldn’t be enough left to affect them so drastically so I do believe this food is pretty fatty. As a primary food for pups you pay the vet bill for I can’t say it would be my first choice but to feed packs of 50 at a time, this is as far as I can make the money go.

Get it replaced don’t try to fight it!!!
There was weevil in my bag but I tried to deal with it anyway! Well I was very wrong!!!! I had another bag of food and the weevil spread into it too!! And it has been a year because I only have a little shitzu so it doesn’t eat that much, and I am still trying to fight the weevil!!! It’s been a nightmare!! But I couldn’t afford to throw away almost 80 lbs of dog food!!!

Kibbles and Bits, Soft to Chew, Good Quality, Dogs Love it.
What’s not to like? The food is soft enough to chew so that little dogs with missing teeth can easily chew it. It has loads of flavor, it has various bites so it is less boring for them. My dogs love it.

I have a wire haired pointing griffon who was eating nutro beef for the longest time. I was decently happy with it. The problem… it went to 90$ a bag. Like 3.64$ a lb. Copper wire and copper pipe clean goes for like 3.87$ a lb. To put that in perspective criminals who steal wire and copper are almost better off scrapping dog food!So I changed it up. I have to live by a budget unfortunately. Wish I didn’t. Love my dog to death. He’s my best friend. So I went looking for the best dog food for him that I could consistently get at a good price and this dog food was it. It’s quality stuff. There’s a learning curve to changing your dogs diet though. If you’re going to do it, do it slowly a little at a time. While they still have their original dog food add some kibbles n bits to it more and more over the course of a couple weeks. Doing it this way will prevent your dog from having an upset stomach. It’s not the food, it’s how you adapt them to it. My dog loves this food. He’s just as excited to get this as nutro. Just as happy.Treat your dog to some quality food while saving yourself some money.

Dog loved this food but it made him extremely thirsty
My dog really loved this food when we made the switch to it from another more expensive brand that he would barely eat. However, I noticed right away that he started drinking more than double the amount of water he typically drinks, and needed to pee incessantly. I’m not sure if it’s sodium or something else in this food that causes this response, but we got nervous to continue feeding it.
