Amazing shampoo and conditioner!

Itchy scalp!
After a week I had to stop using it, my scalp was so itchy it drove me nuts! I had to buy a couple of bottles of medicated shampoo to stop the itchiness. If you have a sensitive scalp I suggest skipping this shampoo and conditioner, sorry.

Drys out hair
I really didn’t like this shampoo or conditioner; every time my husband and I use it, it always drys out our hair and does even have anything moistures the hair. Will not be getting again. The scent isn’t even that great; doesn’t smell like coconut at all.

Don’t shop anywhere else! I’ve been using these items for many years and still have no complaints. My hair is never greasy. Always ends up nice and moisturized and clean. And smelling good too, of course! These bigger sizes are perfect for when I go on longer work trips with my hunny. And the price is right for what you get. Highly recommend!

Over these months, I’ve come to appreciate the qualities that make this set stand out, as well as some minor inconveniences that have come to my attention.Pros:Enchanting scent and hair feel:One of the standout features of this shampoo and conditioner set is undoubtedly the delightful scent it imparts to my hair. The fragrance is invigorating and leaves my hair smelling fresh all day. Equally impressive is the way it makes my hair feel. The moisturizing properties leave my hair soft, manageable, and with a healthy shine.Cons:Imbalance in product dispensing:One notable drawback I’ve encountered is the disparity in the ease of product dispensing between the shampoo and conditioner. The conditioner flows out of the bottle with ease, which can lead to an imbalance in the amount left of each product. This disparity can be a bit frustrating when trying to match the amount of shampoo and conditioner used in each wash.Challenging bottle lock for travel:Another inconvenience is the design of the bottle’s locking mechanism. Changed formula or something.
I have always used hello hydration since 2011 because it works really well with my hair but they must have changed the formula or something because i have been nursing this bottle for a LONG time. When i first used this it didn’t work as well as it normally does. I thought maybe i was going through hormone changes or somthing so i ended up switching to another brand. When i was through with that brand i tried using this set again and still had the same problem. It clumps to the hair and doesn’t get as sudsy as the brand used to and when i try to rinse it out of my hair it does not rinse all they way out. it leave small blue goo in my hair. It got to the point that after 1 hour of rinsing out my hair it still would not come out. I had to let it dry then use my roomates dove shampoo to get it out of my hair. So now i have a full bottles of shampoo and conditioner that doen’t work well under my sink in the bathroom.

Good bang for your buck
I bought this product since Brad Mondo rated it as one of the best drug store hair products. As a student, I am on a budget. I started using this shampoo 2 years ago and I continue to use it. It does not have th ebest ingredients compared to more expensive shampoos, but it has a great smell and has been working well for me. I recommend giving it a try.

Doesn’t leave your hair feeling smooth
Good value, but conditioner leaves your hair feeling dry and brittle. They also leave blue chunks on your tub/shower floor. Won’t be buying again.

Good for Normal Hair
If you have a dryer hair or oftentimes being outdoors exposing to sunlight, buy the Herbal Essences one with Repairing Argan Oil. Overall, it’s good and I just hope it will make my hair feel a bit more moisturized.

Back to basics
I used this shampoo and conditioner a decade ago for my 4c hair. Ever since the natural hair movement I’ve been trying so many different products over the years. I think I stopped because it had sulfates. I went back to using it because I do use heavy creams and oils in my hair and I find natural shampoos just don’t cut it.

Good shampoo and conditioner for very dry curly hair
I tried this when I purchased the conditioner locally and was impressed that I didn’t even have to comb out my hair very much after use. So I figured I’d also get the shampoo. I did find it locally after purchasing, cheaper, however. But this is an excellent product for the overly dry, brittle, color treated or damaged head of hair like mine. I have mostly curly and thick hair and this product works well. Makes my hair soft and manageable and curly/pretty without a lot of work. I’m lazy and hate spending precious time on hair. This helps. I don’t really even need any leave-in product after use.

Herbal Not so great anymore
Not sure what happened to this shampoo brand. It used to smell great with a nice coconut refreshing smell. Now, it smells like plastic! Was very disappointed when I started to use this set in the shower. Attempted to give it another shot for a week but the plastic smell just got stronger. An to be honest this shampoo caused some serious drying to my hair. After a week I had foul smelling straw hair. Would not recommend, threw this product out.

After pandemic changes a bit?
I have been use this brand for years don’t know how to act since this product don’t make much foam like the usual and looks it is running less product that what it said. Don’t know since I saw many others products running less after pandemic. Still after this I will buy again and see if was only this one or the brand changed something. I will update my review

I have been using this for years.
I love the scent and how it takes my frizzy hair. I use another high end brand most of the time, but every once in a while I like using a bit sudsier shampoo as a clarifying cycle. I love the large size and pump for easy dispensing.

Fragrant pleasant smell.
My fiancee likes the smell. This is the only herbal essences he will use. Pleasant coconut smell. It makes his hair soft. Doesn’t add any oil or dryness to his hair. No irritation or scalp dryness after using conditioner. He uses daily. It’s at a good price point. I don’t mind buying on Amazon if it beats store prices. Big bottles. I like the top. It’s easy to use. Twist the top and it pops up. The disadvantage to using these tops is that you don’t always get all the product. You probably will have to add water to get the rest of the product. I didn’t like that my product came in damaged. It now does stand straight or at all. There was two places it was damaged at. Also, noticed some of the product was missing. Not much but it’s not filled to the top but that’s a factory qaulity control issue. Just be warned if it happens to you. Would buy again.

This is a quality product, it just doesn’t live up to its Narrative, As the coconut scent doesn’t last and, and isn’t strong enough This was a big disappointment as I was really looking forward to a nice long Scent of coconut. Bummer! I can’t recommend this Product.

Didn’t get shampoo+body wash but love the conditioner
Let me start by saying I love this conditioner, I have been using it for years on my and my kids, we all have different curly hair types and this works great to get the tangles out and make everyone’s hair brushable, however the only reason I bought this combo pack was because it came with the shampoo/body wash combo but ours was only shampoo, maybe the formula is exactly the same and they just added body wash to the name to sell more product but we really don’t use this shampoo so I had been planning on just using it as a body wash. Still gave 4 stars even though I didn’t get the right product because it is still cheaper than buying it locally and I have been having trouble finding the big size in stores.

The shampoo is too bad
The shampoo didn’t work for me , it’s gave me so much itchy hair and Dandruff . I was so angry.. I stop using it, but the conditioner was so good and worked for me. I really liked the conditioner . It’s makes your hair so soft and not oily . If you have Dry hair pick this conditioner.
