Get one size larger.
The hoodie is of good quality for the price. The sizes are small. so get one size larger than you’d usually buy.No frills, just a plain garment. I’ll use mine for work. I like the pouch style pocket. Allows me to keep invoices in there while delivering product to customers.

Meh, Very thin fabric
Very thin fabric, will have big pills with in one wash for sure. I pulled it out of the package and it already has tiny pills on it. So Wal-Mart quality. It was $19+taxTag says Heavy Blend but I can see the tag through it. So I guess you can only wear a long sleeve white high neck shirt under it, anything else will show through. As you can see in the photo of my tank top showing through. So it just looks really cheap.Size Medium is perfect for what I wanted.Smells (not a bad smell) and feels exactly like the cheap fabric from the local fabric store or that we had back in Home economic class in high school.Sewing seems fine, nothing exciting for $19I might return it as I was hoping for a better quality/thicker fabric.My size ref 5’8, 115-120lbs, 34C-26-37Size Medium fits perfect a little baggy like I wanted. However this fabric will shrink in goofy ways once you add heat, so there is no telling how it will fit once washed.Package arrived on time.

Comparison to Hanes Men’s Ultimate Pullover Heavyweight Fleece Hoodie
Ordered both of these hoodies in a size L as a 5’11, 180lb male.Comments about this Gildan hoodie:- I really like this fit (pre-wash)- Hanes is a baggier fit, length is about the same on both hoodies- not a heavy hoodie, but not thin either. Inner lining is comfortable and doesn’t seem to pill off onto other clothing- the holes that the drawstring comes out of by the hood are not backed by any plastic or metal, just holes in the fabric- I haven’t washed either hoodie yet (3-5 wears each)What I like more about the Gildan:- fits me better (not as baggy as Hanes)- elastic cuffs at the end of arm sleeves and at the waist are tighter than the Hanes, helps with fit (big difference maker for me – just seems more quality for a $15 hoodie)- stitching and construction around the sleeves and hood seems *slightly* better than the Hanes, may hold up better in the long run?- great cheap hoodie option at $15 CAD (be realistic with your expectations when you order a <$20 clothing item from Gildan/HanesWhat I like more about the Hanes:- drawstring eyelets are reinforced by plastic (coated silver) rings so if you knot your hoodie string they won't slip inside the hood- inner pilling is MAD comfortable (Gildan is comfy, but not this Huggables-type of soft, but this Hanes material will pill more onto your layer underneath) 78 people found this helpful

Loose and comfy
I often take a medium, sometimes a large; it depends on the brand and the way the clothing is cut. I wanted a hoodie that was loose and comfy, something suited to lounging on the couch and watching hockey/football/baseball with a big bowl of popcorn. Gildan makes a quality product; I’ve never had any complaints and this time was no exception. Recommended.

I am 6 foot 3 and 300 pounds. So tall and fat lol. Working on losing the weight. I have bought sweaters online before only to be dissatisfied with the fit and or cut of the shirt or sweater top. These fit perfectly. At my size, 3Xl is just perfect t in the length and firs me well. Hides my fat for now lol until I slim down. Still the sweater will fit nicely at 250 pounds as it will most likely gain an inch in length without the belly being bloated. Right now it still hides it well but ofcourse it makes the sweater shorter. It does cover my belt line so it is perfect. Just being specific so big and tall people know what size to order. 3Xl is perfect for 6 foot 3 and anywhere from 260 to 300 pounds. I ordered the blue the first time. Love it as a summer colour. Ordered the grey the second time for a classic gym look. Love both. The material is light. A great spring or fall sweater. I have been wearing it in summer heat and it has that fleece light feeling so it’s actually not bad even in heat when driving with A/C and working/living indoors. It doesn’t even leave a lot of lint behind. A little after the first wear but I was sweating in the heat as I work off weight so it was expected to shed a little bit. Quality is great. Wash only in cold water not to shrink it. I will wash in warm water after I loose 50 pounds to be healthier ! Lol and look better in my sweater. The seller is awesome. One day prime delivery both times and delivered in time, packaged perfectly with the new sweater smell. Will buy a third time for sure.

Great basic black hoodie!
This hoodie arrived just as expected! The quality of the fabric feels solid! The weight is nice too. Not to heavy and not super light. My partner really liked it. It fits him quite well and looks really nice. Great deal for a very sharp looking basic black hoodie! I would defiantly buy one of these hoodies again. I also really like all the color options too. I am going to be mindful when drying though as I would hate for it to shrink. I also hate hang drying things so probably will be safe and dry on a very cool setting. Defiantly recommend this hoodie. My partner is a very standard size med 165lbs and 5’10” FYI

LOVE this sweater. I bought this sweater just to lounge around the house in but I never want to take it off! I got the large for a baggy fit and id say its true to size. It is a thinner sweater, wouldn’t recommend for really cold days but overall amazing for cold summer/fall nights !

Disappointed in this hoody.
I purchased a large and I received a medium. I almost think it was a ladies medium as the sleeves came right to the wrist and wasn’t loose aid roomy at all. I’m 5’3″ and 130lbs. A man’s medium even should have been quite big and roomy. However, I also find that I do have to wear a t shirt under it as I normally wouldn’t just wearing around the house or to the store. But, I do find it a bit itchy. I did see that in other reviews, but I thought if it’s big and roomy and I won’t have it so close to my skin. Although the price was right, still it’s no reason not to receive what’s written in the promo of the product.

Wrong product description
I ordered a small red hoodie from this site. It was not quite my size and thought I would try an extra small. I simply went to the same dealer and chose extra small as opposed to small and had it shipped. I didn’t bother to check whether it was a men’s size or a boy’s size. It came and was WAY too small and had to return it as it was a boy’s extra small. I’m a little disappointed that it isn’t the right size, but I’ll get over it. The material is very nice, though I haven’t washed it yet so I don’t know if it will shrink.

Fits a bit small otherwise great
Fuzzy interior, exterior actually feels like a cotton hoodie although it is a blend.Factory smell was quite offensive on opening the bag so soaked overnight in clothing detergent to rid the odor.Excellent product for price.Usually take a small in women’s took a Med in this but could have used a large for a baggier fit.

Hey guys, just doing my share of reviews for those comparing this to hanes or just wants to just know in general how this sweater is.I got a small, black hoodie.Stats: Male, 5’7″, 145lbs, athletic build, slim frameThe sweater fit really well around the torso and arms. The sleeves were a bit shorter by hoodie standards, they fell on my hands as a tailored dress shirt would, which leads me to my next point. The small isn’t really a lofty or comfortable thing. Usually people get hoodies for that reason. I personally ordered two hoodies: A medium ash grey (for lofting) and a small black.The length of the sweater hits my waist just below the belt line. So i think those that are taller than me may find that that this sweater is too short. Maybe if you’re 5’8″ with shorter than average arms this would work. But I think if you’re 5’9″ a medium would definitely be best for you.Because baggy black hoodies doesn’t really look classy (not like you’d wear one at a formal event tbh), I just like the look of a black hoodie to wear with good light pair of jeans and runners, yet I still don’t want to look like I rolled out of bed. This modern fit on an old classic look is achieves my goal.The neckhole could be bigger, but it’s not a big problem. Some reviewers on the hanes hoodie said it was problematic, so that’s the reason I got gildan.

Good Hoodie if you size up
Important to know: This hoodie will shrink A LOT in warm water washer/hot dryer combo; so make sure to size up. I usually wear L hoodies but for the Gildan I went with the XL and it fits perfectly after I washed it; see pictures. (It looked very bad fresh out the bag but shrinked up real nice)The hoodie itself is comfy: soft on the inside and rougher/rugged on the outside. I would consider this hoodie to be somewhere between Medium to Light weight: will keep you warm when indoor during winter but would require some layering when you go outside.I am 5’9″ 185-190 lbs athletic-ish build. (broad shoulders, wide back, and a little extra on the belly)Hope this review will help you out!

Quality has changed
Bought this hoodie in early July and now that the weather has cooled down I decided to wear it. I have been buying these hoodies for years as they are super comfy. But in the past while I’ve noticed that the quality of them has declined. The past 3 I have boughten have had fraying on the shoulders and threads pulled away from the corner of the pouch. Really wish this would change as I love these and don’t want to start looking elsewhere for a hoodie that won’t start falling apart after first wear.
