4X was smaller than other brands I’ve bought, otherwise excellent quality and price
After warm water wash and dry, the 4X was smaller that other 4X shirts I own. The length of the shirt shrunk considerably also, but because of the excellent price/quality I would buy again. For the Gildan G2000, I’ll get the 5X next time.

Great shirts
I am 5,7 and 350 pnds short and fat. I ordered a 5x and they were perfect. They barely shrunk even after hot water and hot dry settings. Great fabric. Nicely made especially around the neck. Gildan adult ultra cotton Tshirts G2000. These are the good reinforced fabric around the neck so they don’t stretch and look ridiculous. Make sure that the shirts you order say exactly that though Gildan adult ultra cotton tshirts G2000. I’ve gone back on and bought these twice already and I’m about to buy more.

Heavy duty Tees

Solid value T-shirts
I recommend these T-shirts. I am 5’8″ and 140″, I do not like tight T-shirts so I bought a large. I am happy with it, although I am sure that a medium would have worked.I will compare the Gilden T-shirt with the Fruit of the Loom Platinum that you will see at Wal-Mart.Pro – The Gilden appears to be better built and the sizing was consistent on the two T-shirts that came in the package. The neck was smaller, without being tight. I am guessing that fabric around the neck will not wrinkle up, unlike many Fruit of the Looms. There were no loose threads, unlike many Fruit of the Loom. Gilden has heavier fabric, which is better most of the year where I live (east Tennessee). I do not want a see-through T-shirt. Also, no one who sees me would want me wearing a see-through T-shirt.Con – The Fruit of the Loom is much softer after a first washing. I washed the Gildan T-shirt in warm water with two minutes in the dryer on Energy-Saving. Gilden has a tag which is not as good as Fruit of the Loom (no tag). I cut the tag out without any problem and now the Gilden is fine. Gilden is slightly more expensive but both brands are inexpensive.Neutral – Neither brand bleeds color. I have only washed the Gilden one time so I do not know whether it will fade. My Fruit of the Loom T-shirts fade but it takes many washes for that to occur.I hope that this review is helpful to you.Update – June 2, 2020. The Gildan T-shirts that I bought previously held up reasonably well for the money. They did not shrink. They did not fade. However, they did not get softer. Washing was on warm and drying was three minutes on energy saver.I purchased some more Gildans to replace the ones that wore out. I have not washed them yet. I bought Galapagos Blue and Orange in Large size. Both are 100% cotton. The necks seem smaller than the Fruit of the Loom Platinums that I own. I like that because I have a small head so I don’t need a big neck. I am still 5’8″ and 140 pounds and the Large is comfortable for me. A medium would probably fit me better; however, I like a looser-fitting T-shirt.I will let you know how well the new Gildans do after washing in warm water and drying for three minutes on energy saving heat.Notably, I have some old Fruit of the Loom T-shirts (like ten years or more) which are reasonably thick, reasonably soft, and still going strong after all this time. I wish that I had bought more of them.June 10, 2020 – After one wash in warm water and three minutes in the dryer, the new Gildans did not shrink or fade. Also, the necks did not stretch. However, the T-shirts did not become softer. Therefore, three out of the four results were good and one result was neutral.September 20, 2020 – After multiple washings in warm water and three minutes in the dryer on “energy saving”, the verdict is the same. Good – the T-shirts did not shrink or fade and the necks did not stretch. Bad – The T-shirts did not get any softer. One other note – the tags on the T-shirts would be very annoying to wear so I cut the tags out.November 22, 2020 – The first thing to go bad on these T-shirts has been that the necks have stretched slightly. The stretching was not terrible but it is noticeable (at least to me). Nevertheless, I would give the T-shirts 4.5 stars. They do seem a little but softer or maybe I am getting more used to them. They do not feel scratchy to me. They have not faded or shrunk. I definitely like them much better than the ultra-thin Fruit of the Loom Platinum.November 28, 2020 – I have purchased only Large-size Gildan T-shirts. I am very happy that the sizing has been very consistent. Gildan has much better quality control than Fruit of the Loom.March 11, 2021 – I have revised the rating to a five stars. The T-shirts have gotten soft after probably 10 – 12 washings. The necks have stretched slightly but not very much. I am picky about that so I may notice that more than most people would. I dry the T-shirts by putting them in the dryer on energy saving setting for three minutes and then laying them on a bamboo drying rack. I do NOT dry them by putting them on hangers. The T-shirts still look great with no fading. I wear them frequently and enjoy the various colors.September 16, 2021 – The T-shirts are still doing well. One note, I think that the 6.0 weight fabric is much better than the 5.3 weight fabric. I bought some 5.3 weight lime green T-shirts to try to make myself more visible when walking. The necks have sagged after four washes. They served the purpose for the summer. However, I would not buy the 5.3 ounce again. The 6.0 ounce T-shirts have maintained their shape with minimal neck sagging or crinkling.

Good quality
I am 6’1” and weigh 180lbs, large sizes fits me perfectly. Shirts are Ultra Cotton. They’re a little softer than the Heavy Cotton version. They are thick, durable and soft. These are not the thin type of undershirts you find it multiple packs at the store. These are real r-shirts. My work uses them for our work shirts, they last a longtime. These shirts do not shirk much. I still would recommend washing and drying on the cooler settings.

nice shirt for the price, except…
love the way this looks for the most part. forgot to size up, i am big chested so i had to stretch it a tiny bit to fit but otherwise great shirt and great quality for the price!! even with fabric softener though it still can be a little bit of a rough fabric. but that’s fine i don’t really care but i think others should know especially if you’re sensitive to textures

Best bang for buck t-shirt
These are medium weight cotton shirts so they won’t be super soft and they will shrink in the dryer. I recommend ordering a size up from what you normally wear and drying them on high heat to shrink them down unless you’re going for a muscle fit. Gildan does sell light/heavy/soft t-shirts on Amazon so be sure to check the product description lest you be disappointed.

Very well made T-shirt with medium thickness material
What was good:• Good material weight for a sturdy t-shirt – not thin in my experience.• Tidy and clean production on the shirts I received there were no thread bits, etc.• The torso is one piece of woven material with no side seams, so it seems to be some form of a continuous tube knit.• I made a point of buying the version which is 100% cotton material.So, what’s so-so or not good:• Each shirt has a tag at the back of the neck sewn into the seam. There are two tags, each somewhat stiff material that is irritating. On shirts like this I cut the tags off close to the seam. Still, it would be nicer without the tags.Size wise… this seems to be reasonably accurate… for me at least. I am a bit over 6 feet tall, with wide shoulders and slim torso. If your body is wider, it is probably best to size up. This is not “big and tall” size.This review is for the “Gildan Adult Ultra Cotton T-shirt, Style G2000…” product.

Lighter weight than Hanes Beefy-t
These are not as heavy a material as Hanes Beefy-t and not as durable.I’d call them about a middleweight t-shirt. They are very comfortable and I have bought several for warmer weather wear.I’m about 5’11” 190 lbs and the 3X fits comfortably roomy. After multiple normal wash and dry cycles still not much shrinking.

Good for the price but came dirty 🤔
I mean they seem okay-ish, per previous comments I have washed them a couple of times in order to get the ‘real’ size, because they kinda shrink a lil when put on the dryer if you can air dry them would reduce the possibilities of shrinkage. Now they came dirty like (?) there’s a photo for reference but these brown splotches were all over 2 of the shirts, I honestly do not want to know what they are but the splotches went away with a wash cycle, just buyer beware. That said probably I’ll buy them again, they’re cotton and mad cheap for my silly billy tie dye projects.

Great Heavy T-shirt
The are great heavy duty t-shirts. true size, very heavy weight, good length. Almost a tad too heavy as undershirt, but wonderful when worn alone. Instead of printed on tag, they come with a loose tag that is designed to tear off. That works, but then you do not know what brand/size they are when you want to order more. Just print the tag on the shirt. Amazon Essentials may be a better value.

A really nice shirt, just a little heavy.
The shirt itself is nice, fitting perfectly to the specifications I asked for. The shirts color did not fade after only a few washes, which is a good sign as well. However I must say for the cotton shirt, it was a little heavy and unbreathable. I suppose that is not what this shirt is ment for though, so it fits it’s pourpose well.

Great shirts.
I got these for regular wear and not for an undershirt and they do the job well. They are thick, sturdy and they fit true to size. A lot of these type of shirts have a weird fit or the neck line fits strange and stretches out easy but these fit perfectly.

Just what I needed
I needed 100% cotton t shirts to cut up into rags for painting. I know they sell “tshirt rags” but those are either sold in $50 worth of rags or of questionable quality so I’d rather just make my own. I got 2 5x white t shirts for about $11. I’ve only cut up half of one shirt so far and got 8 approximately 6×12 rags just from half a shirt. That’s what the pictures are. So in total I’ll have about 32 rags from the body of the shirts plus 4 sleeves. There’s no fraying or anything weird yet but I’ll update if that changes. It was a good purchase and they’ll last me a long time.

GREAT PRODUCT FOR THE PRICE
Bought these for my son who doesn’t like washing clothes separately based on lights and darks and colors. Since these are on the darker side of gray, they don’t discolor like a white T-shirt would if you mix colors in the wash. He says it fits well, comfortable on the skin and likes that he doesn’t have to wash them separately from his other clothes! Hahahaha! His only complaint was the tag sewn into the neckline…..but I clipped them out with a manicure scissors. The remaining part of the tag became frayed upon washing and softened substantially; he says it doesn’t feel scratchy on his neck anymore. Yay!

Rough Material, tight fit at neck – won’t buy again
The material of this shirt is not soft – it feels rough. The neck opening is also too tight and constricting, to the point of discomfort when wearing it. I was very disappointed with the fit of this shirt. The rough material and tight neck fit just didn’t work for me at all. I won’t be purchasing this shirt again due to the poor feel and fit.
