This contour palette is AMAZING! I think that any shade skin you might have you can make this work for you. I’m “mocha latte” as my hubby likes to call the shade of my skin. The e.l.f. Contour Palette can fit most any skin shade from light to dark from my experience with it. It’s not just to color or powder your skin, it’s used to bring out the features you love best or want to accentuate and also can hide and blend off into the distance features your might want to sculpt and bring attention away from.Me = my nose. I am not ashamed but it is my least favorite feature. With this contour palette I can place shades to bring out the feature and make it look a little more slim than it is by using the lightest going down the top of my nose, then with another brush (mind you, this does not come with a brush but you can find them at a good price which I’m sure I’ll review sometime) 🙂 anyway then for me I take the darkest and shade the side of my nose. Voila, I am done. If I have time I also sculpt the 2 medium colors over my brow and under my eyes to brighten them. (Like you can brighten brown eyes ugh… lol)This product is an amazing price and an amazing product. It’s fun when I have time to play around with new tactics. Like I said, it does not come with brushes, but e.l.f and other companies have brushes here at Amazon at great prices and styles for shaping. Browse all you want, but if you want a good contour palette at a great price, you can’t do better! 😀

Good palette for the price
For the price, this is good but not great. I appreciate that the pans have a decent amount of product and are large enough to easily get a brush in to them. I also really like that the pans can be easily removed so you can put them in something like a Z palette. The mirror is large and I think that’s a great positive aspect of this palette. It travels well and I like that.The highlighting shade (top left) is a bit glittery for my taste. I’m extremely fair and even on my light skin, it gives a bit of a chalky cast as well. But it’s functional and if blended out really well, you get a very subtle, natural highlight.The light yellowish powder (top right) is good for setting the undereye area, although I find I need a light hand or it can get chunky. It does oxidize a bit on me, but it’s definitely not bad. This powder and the bronzing powder are definitely my favorites.The bronzing powder (bottom left) was a pleasant surprise. It’s a neutral tone that seems to work well on a variety of skin tones (I had a few friends who wanted to try it), although it’s fairly subtle and would probably be too light for anyone darker than a medium skin tone. It’s buildable and there is no shimmer in it, which I appreciate.The contouring powder (bottom right) was a disappointment. I love the color, as it’s a cool-toned but not ashy color that would be ideal for my fair skin. The issue is that it’s really patchy and streaky. It sticks to the spot where you first put it and for the life of me, I can’t get it to blend out. When I tried using this for contouring my cheeks, I ended up with muddy looking dark patches after blending heavily with a brush. I removed all my makeup and tried again, this time blending it out with a damp makeup sponge. Still no luck. I will save this for contouring under my chin, where the patchiness won’t be as noticeable. But this will never go on my cheeks again.

Es un muy buen producto por el precio, los colores son muy suaves y la pigmentación no es intensa pero se pueden construir. El iluminador es muy potente pero se apelmaza un poco al aplicar. Aunque tiene sus dificultades el producto es de alta calidad y precio accesible. Me gustó mucho.

Great for Beginners
I had no idea what I was doing with contouring so I had to look up some YouTube videos, but it definitely made a difference. It gave me back some color after I put on my foundation while still making me look natural.

NOT WHAT I EXPECTED
I was very eager to get this pallet and was anticipating that it was going to be absolutely perfect for my coloring. According to the marketing photos, this palette looks like it ought to flatter someone with pink undertones, which I have. However, in reality, this is more flattering to someone with yellow undertones. Very disappointing. However I was impressed by the packaging. It came in a nice box that also has an interlining, and the case is black plastic and feels very sturdy. The colors are quite pigmented so a little bit is going to go a long way. It is very sad that this pallet does not match my complexion at all. Great great value for the money, if this matches your complexion.

I normally purchase contour palettes from Mac or Anastasia and took a chance on this one from Elf.Loving so many of their products and the low price especially!I am light skinned and the light/medium choice was just perfect for some cheek,jawline and nose contouring! Lasted for 6 hours and will certainly purchase again! It’s an excellent product!

I find this helps hide blemishes and improve redness but is subtle and easy to use, does not look obvious that you are wearing but improves appearance of skin a lot, not drying or irritating

Better than high end – for light to medium light/skin
This is the best pallet I have owned for contouring for my medium-light skin. When I am tanned it’s not that noticeable.I have purchased several pallets, sticks, powders from Anastasia (which are very good), Smashbox, Tom Ford, and more and I like this best.Why?- good color pay off- not chalky- natural- very little fall out- doesn’t settle into fine lines.It’s not shiny so if you are looking for a highlighter you will need a separate product.I am extremely impressed by this and the price point. I cant believe how good it is. Highly recommended but only for light – medium/light skin tones otherwise it may not be as noticeable.

Ok, I have tried many contour palette’s and I would say I’m very experienced in contouring. This palette is one of the best I have tried and has been replaced by one of my big expensive named products. The color is spot on, you only need a little on the brush to go a long way so it will last quite a while. The highlighter is a little too much for me but if just using a tad it’s not to bed. It doesn’t feel heavy at all and lasted all day with their setting spray as well (another must buy from this brand). If you’re a beginner or a make-up artist, this palette should be a part of your kit! A little goes a long way!

best contour palette
this is literally the best contour palette. I typically use two-faced palette however it’s 2023 and who is affording make up like that so I was looking for more so a drugstore alternative and I came across this one and I was like you know it’s like seven dollars or whatever let’s give it a shot and it’s literally the best contour pallet I’ve ever used it blends so easily and in the other brands of make up pallets, I haven’t been able to use all of the colours because my skin is pretty fair but with this one because the powder is so blend and you’re able to work with it, I can actually use all the colours in it too which just makes it so much better. I definitely recommend trying out.

Natural colors
You don’t have to pay a lot for good make up.I bought this to try out contouring. I have a light complexion and could not believe how natural looking these colors are on my skin. For my first time contouring I couldn’t have asked for a better palette.Absolutely no complaints.

A primera vista el producto se ve de calidad pero en realidad la pigmentación es muy mala. Soy de tez clara y el café oscuro no se ve casi sobre mi maquillaje. Ni qué decir del café claro. El highlighter tampoco es bueno, a penas si brillaba un poquitito. Recomiendo invertir un poco más y adquirir un juego de contour de mejor calidad. O en su defecto, hasta usar una sombra café equis para hace el contour. El highlighter de sombras baratas funciona mejor.

Great price, acne prone
Great, even though I’m a beginner on contour, thanks for you tube for there so many videos on how to help with showing the how too videos, I suffer with Acne on my cheeks , hormonal, I wish I enough money to buy a good full coverage like Kat von d or the estee Lauder double wear . so I. Can feel. Beautiful .I am 38 and having this acne a not being able to do make because of hyper pigment and bumps, I just buy it because I hope to use one day,.and it affordable.Anyone that has a great foundation they would like to donate any angels out there. I would so appreciate it,to feel beautiful again.please message me back if you do, my depression would go out the door.☺☺☺ I find myself buying makeup hoping to use especially contour or strobe, I am working on my acne from the inside out, organically. But any beauty gurus that get everything I would die for especially foundation where I can cover up my acne, you would be my angel.

For the fair skinned….
I am very fair skinned. It is hard to find light colors in contour for us! I saw this and thought the price was right to just try it. Also it is dye free. I am allergic to red dye and finding makeup is not that easy for me. It arrived in a nicely packed box. It was intact. As you can see, there are four colors. I have only used two of those. The lightest colors – obviously. I am always up to try new things with my makeup but I wasn’t for sure I could pull this of. I wore it to a wedding shower and got compliments on how good my skin looked! I am sure it was the contouring. I used a stiff thin brush for each of the highlighting and the shadowing. It does not come with a brush nor is there anywhere to store even a little brush. A little does go along way with a bit of this. I had learned how to contour a couple of years ago but could never find the right shades me. This is it! Don’t be afraid to try it because it is not that hard. Look for YouTube videos or just a diagram of how to contour your shape of face. It is easy to do once you know what shape of face you have. I don’t know that I will put the time in to wearing this everyday – but when I have the time I definitely will. I would say that once you get the hang of it – you can do it in about 5 -6 minutes. I highly recommend this product.

I guess I didn’t read enough detailTo realize it’s a cream pallet. I prefer powder, but it blends easy enough. I’m by no means a make expert, but I do appreciate this product. Great value for your money.

Good for a Natural Look
Depending on your skin tone, this is a pretty great product. I am fair and I will say the first three colors don’t show up on my skin much. I use the darkest for a sharp contour and will ‘fill out’ the rest for a touch of color with the second darkest. It is very subtle. The second lightest does nothing on me. The lightest is barely-there for a highlight. It’s mostly got a sort of glitter effect to it, but very microscopic so it’s not entirely noticeable. It is very subtle, so if you’re looking for a very natural effect this would work well. It applies very lightly from how I’ve been using it, but it’s at least not heavy or spotty so that’s a plus. The packaging itself is sleek and nice–it feels sturdy, too, which I tend to accidentally break the tops off of my makeup kits. So that’s appreciated.

Yes this brand can be used for WOC (women of color)
It arrived as pictured. The colors are captured and depicted accurately and yes this contour pallets can be used on woman of color, as I am. I absolutely LOVE this non- irritant contour pallet( I have concerning sensitive skin). The mirror is large and that’s a plus not only is it affordable but it gets the job done effortlessly. It is cream based and lasts all day. I would compare elf to black radiance however it’s a little more affordable.I use this palette for contouring and most importantly a concealer under my eye area. This product does not leave behind a cast, it blends extremely well especially for my dry skin. This pallets will NOT cover as a foundation.I would highly recommend this product, it’s easy to use (beginner friendly) , and have directions on the box.
