It’s perfect for a natural, glossy finish on its own, or as a shiny top layer over lipstick. A nice product at a decent price
I had heard that this was an exact duplicate for a much pricier Dior lip oil, costing 4x as much as this. I don’t have that other product (and I’m glad I don’t, since I can’t justify over-spending just for a designer brand label).Standing alone, this is a nice lip oil. The colour is nice and light — nothing that shows thorugh particuarly well, but just a tinge of pigmrent. It’s not particularly long-lasting, but lip oils typically wear off soon enough on me. THe scent is nice, the consistency is not sticky, and overall it’s a decent lip oil for the price.

ELF Lip Oil
Dont let the colour full you. As red or pink as it looks its no where as dark on your lips. Not sure if my lip stain was not mixed perfectly yet, but it more to give your lips a shine and a little bit of colour. I didnt find it was the colour or it on my lips at shown on the bottle. I do love how it looks and feels

Feels nice
This lip gloss makes your lips coloured just a tiny bit, and very glossy. Doesn’t feel too sticky like some thicker glosses. Lasts quite a while on your lips as well. It doesn’t seem to have any lasting nourishment as advertised, you do have to reapply to keep your lips hydrated. A little pricy for the size of the bottle though.

Lasts less than an hour
This is a decent lip oil, a hint of colour and shine that lasts maybe an hour tops so you will need to reapply if using for colour/shine but it moisturises the lips and doesn’t feel overly sticky. I love the big soft applicator too, it is oversized while still giving you control on application. While I had no irritation from it, the elf lip oil does tingle on the lips and have a slight minty scent, not sure if it is peppermint oil but worth mentioning if you have a sensitivity.

Hydrating Tinted Lip Gloss
The E.L.F. Glow Reviver Lip Oil has a slightly tinted, glossy color and pairs nicely with my lip liner.The lip oil is infused with jojoba, apricot, avocado and pomegranate oil to moisturize the lips without it being greasy or sticky.The texture is not too thick, feels smooth on the lips. It does wear off rather quickly and needs to be reapplied after eating or drinking.The lip oil has a nice subtle mint scent.The product is vegan and cruelty free.The doe foot applicator is easy to use, soft and plush that glides on smoothly.This product has a good price point and is good for every day wear.

Nourishing but sticky
This is a nice, lightweight lip oil that is more moisturizing than expected, maybe due to the jojoba oil. Smells like peppermint! My only gripe is that it’s very sticky so your hair will get stuck on it, although this is a common issue with most glosses.

Not as luxurious as described
It feels a bit sticky even though the product description states non-sticky.It feels OK and doesn’t feel bad but does not feel super luxurious.The bottle is small. I’m able to apply a bit to either the top or bottom lip and then I can rub my lips together and I find that’s enough. I don’t need to dip again for the same application.

Thick
Thought the clear version would be a good substitute for lip balm for dry lips but it’s a little thick for my liking. It was hard to forget it was there, if that makes any sense. If you want your lips to look shiny, this’ll do the trick. If you want to hydrate them and for them to look normal, this is not the best product for that.

A thick gloss
There are pros and cons to this product. Some will like it bit I wouldn’t repurchase it.ConsThis doesn’t feel or look like a lip oil. It feels, looks and applies like a thick clear gloss.Even with a few coats, the application looks minimal, when by rights it should look shiny when it feels thick and sticky on my lips.There is a vinyl/ plastic smell to it that is odd.Once it’s off or rubbed off my lips, they feel dry very quickly.ProsThe doe foot applicator is large and beautiful to use. It picks up and deposits product perfectly.My lips do feel moisturized when the product is on, and the lasting power is decent.It works well as an occlusive barrier.

Can’t get it onto the brush
The e.l.f. glow reviver lip oil feels quite nice on your lips, but disappears fast. Great for taking a photo or two, but then don’t expect it to stay on your lips for long.The oil is next to impossible to get onto the brush out of the container, so you end up wasting a lot of it.The tint isn’t really noticeable on your lips and this has the feel of old school lip gloss.

Great dupe for Dior lip oil! Smells good and looks nice
I got the color pink quartz, which is infused with apricots. I love the sweet smell of apricots when I apply it. I love how pink quartz is a very subtle color with just a slight tint of pink. I didn’t time how long but noticed it lasted for over an hour. It makes me lips all nice and shiny. I love how huge and soft the applicator is. If you can’t afford Dior lip oil, then this is a great dupe!

I fully did not expect this to be so freaking sticky. The people commenting that it feels smooth like an oil clearly have not tried an actual lip OIL. I love a lot of products from Elf but this is very misleading. This is an overpriced lip gloss that has no colour to it.

THE BEST LIP GLOSS OUT THERE
This is the best Lip Gloss Ever! The consistency is so smooth and creamy, its not sticky but yet it is very moisturizing! I got the clear shade and it looks amazing on my lips. The applicator is tick and comes out very nicely. And it has a very nice minty scent! 10/10 recommend!

doesnt feel sticky
unlike other glosses or oils, most of them feel sticky but this doesnt! the package was weirdly opened/destroyed when i got it but the product was good overall. been my fav lippie for some time ad it’s such an easy application and easy to bring around anywhere.

First time I try ELF product. It’s nice feeling on the lips, not to heavy and doesn’t irritate(I have sensitive skin). Happy, hope it helps hydrate my lips. The colour isn’t very pigmented so if you’re looking for a good shade, go one darker.

Excellent product for a good price
I have now ordered two of these. First one being Jam Session, don’t be afraid, it’s not as dark as it looks. I immediately ordered a second one, also great.I’ve not seen these in store in Canada and I imagine once we got them, they will be hard to find. I plan to buy a couple more colors. Keep in mind that these are marketed as a lip oil so if you’re looking for a noticeable tint to pick a darker color.

Great product!
I was using the mabelline one and it was so little product. This has more volume so I really enjoys it. The colour is so nice and it lasts for a long time. Smells like peppermint so it’s so refreshing. Awesome!

Glossy and moisturizing, sheer color
I ordered the color Rose Envy. The color shows up on my arm but blends in with the color of my lips, which is fine for a natural glossy look. I would get a different color next time. I like the oversized plush applicator. The lip oil feels nice and it helps keep my lips moisturized. There’s a very subtle mint scent. The lip oil isn’t too sticky but I can feel when its on my lips. I do reapply it throughout the day.

Nice Gloss
The price at the time of this review was $10.00 which is a reasonable price for a lip oil. I tried the pink quartz colour and did like the shade. It was very subtle but provided a nice gloss and shine. It didn’t stay for super along time and would have preferred some longer wear but it did leave my lips feeling very moisturized. I feel like the quality is fair for the price point but would prefer a more expensive but more long lasting option.

Breathable and glossy!
The e.l.f. Glow Reviver Lip Oil is surprisingly lightweight and feels breathable on your lips- I expected it to feel much thicker for an oil. The Pink Quartz has the slightest tint to it. It’s not completely clear and shows a bit on my pale lips, but if you have a naturally deeper lip colour or wanted to use this on top of a lipstick for a glossier finish it would look clear. The glossy finish doesn’t last more than an hour or so before starting to fade and soak in so you’d need to reapply throughout the day, but at $10 CAD (Jan 2024) you can’t go wrong!

Wow!
I absolutely love this lip oil. First of all, the applicator brush is big and super soft, it feels so nice! Second, the product itself is amazing – it’s shiny like a lip gloss yet not at all sticky, and it’s hydrating like a chapstick would be. I use this lip oil on its own in the color honey talks, and it just makes my lips look (and feel) so pretty. I will most definitely be ordering this again when I run out!

Smells like peppermint
Canadian winters are hard on lips. This lip oil goes on smoothly and moisturizes for a few hours. When it wears off the good thing, it doesn’t dry out your lips like some lip balm. My daughter thinks is smells like peppermint so that’s a bonus! Fully recommend.

I ordered the e.l.f. Glow reviver lip oil in the color option “Jam Session”. The color is a dark glossy color that loos really pretty on my lips, I absolutely love the color and shine.It glides on smooth and I really love the applicator its thicker and more cushiony than the traditional ones in most glosses.It leaves a nice glossy sheen but does not leave any residue or stickiness.Love the over all look of this product and 100% will purchase it again.

Meh. It’s alright for the price but there’s better out there.
I don’t dislike nor like this lip oil from elf. They’re definitely trying to dupe the Dior and Clarins Lip Oils but didn’t get it quite right. This formula is much tackier than the other two lip oils and has a minty scent & sensation on the lips (not intense but noticeable). There’s also not much colour payoff. The major difference between this elf one and Dior/Clarins is the gloss longevity. When I use Dior or Clarins, the glossiness lasts for at least 30 minutes as slowly wears away but my lips still look nourished and plump. However, this elf one loses its glossiness in 10 minutes or so, without eating or drinking. It just dries down and feels very tacky. I would say this is closer to a lipgloss than lip oil. For $10, I would suggest something else from the drugstore like Nyx lip oil or Covergirl Yummy Gloss.
