Trace 2 vs Anthem vs Adrenaline GTS
I’ve been wearing Brooks Anthem for the past year. I decided to try some new lines to see what I prefer.I wasn’t ready to commit to a shoe I’d never worn, so I used the Try Before You Buy option. Charm City Run is the seller that provided this for Prime members, and Amazon helped fulfill the orders.I ordered three pairs of shoes from Charm City Run: one Brooks Adrenaline GTS, an initial Brooks Trace 2, and I followed up with a second pair of Trace 2s.After comparing the Adrenaline GTS, Trace 2, and my Anthems, I greatly prefer the Trace 2.The Anthems are flat at the arch, with a springy midsole. Simple shoes that have treated me kindly, and I’ve made a repeat purchase on. However, there are better shoes, so I’ve learned.Adrenaline GTS (Go-To Support) didn’t feel right. The arch was a knob under my foot, and they felt chunky on my feet. I opted to return these immediately.The Trace 2 felt like it aligned my foot how it was supposed to be for optimal posture. The cushioned midsole was superior to the Anthems I’d previously been buying.With each pair of shoes, I do a squat test to see how my hips align. A shoe’s structure will ultimately affect your foot posture, and up the chain to your knees, hips, back and so forth.With the Anthem and Adrenaline GTS, my right foot (previously fractured) was not in alignment, thus leading to poor hip flexion in the squat.When I donned the Trace 2, both of my feet felt great. The arch wasn’t of simple design like a knob under my inner foot. There was metatarsal support which helped my toes splay in the roomy toe box, which was notably more spacious than the Anthem’s.The heel cup cradled my hindfoot securely. I feel like my foot rests ON the heel cup of the Adrenaline GTS and Anthem, rather than resting IN the heel cup. Consequently, the fabric of my older pair of Anthems has worn at the heel area.When I squatted down in the Trace 2, my hip joint was aligned perfectly for even weight distribution on the descent, with proper femur positioning to allow maximal hip joint mobility. The ascent was stable and comfortable.After feeling the differences between the shoes, I purchased the Trace 2, and decided to try another pair in a different color. I ended up purchasing the second pair as well, and have received compliments on them.I definitely recommend these shoes, and I recommend Prime members to utilize Try Before You Buy. Charm City Run provided 3 new pairs of shoes in perfect condition. I ultimately returned one, and purchased two from them.

Great fit.
Very happy with the quality and fit. These shoes are beautiful too yet They keep my feet happy. I am up and down all over the classroom. After removal of my ingrown toenail’s I needed shoes to take care of my feet . They are comfortable they don’t have as much cushioning like the adrenaline but they are good they are worth it. Would buy again. Usually on sandals I am a size 7 but avoid hurting my toes nails I went up 7.5 and they are fantastic. Great buy

Comfortable for exercise at gym. Looks stylish for reasonable price
I have bought Brooks shoes for the last 2 years. It gives me great arch support for cross trainer and TM with moderate elevation. I do not run so I can’t give testimony for that kind of wear. My size 8.5 with medium width fits me perfectly. I tried the size 9 in a pair last year and they are too loose with use of thick socks. These are stylish and wear well without a 200-dollar price tag. I highly recommend them.

Almost half the price of similar Brooks Ghost!
I had been buying Brooks’ ghost series but decided to try these much more affordable ones and find them actually more comfortable and not much different. These fit my narrow feet a little better and this particular color is great for matching with both black and dark blue. Even though they are technically black, the blue tinge of the lavender soles and swooshes actually makes them look navy blue overall. Still I wear them with pants of both colors and they look fine. They stay clean-looking a lot longer because of the darker colored soles!

Good sneaker
The sneaker was exactly as the picture, colors are perfect for what I wanted, and the 6.5 was true to size. I did expect it to be a bit softer inside (more like a.memory foam) but it’s not. However, so far it seems to be a comfortable supportingdurable shoe.

Loving these
These shoes have been absolutely awesome. I love the color way with the rainbow logo on a white shoe. They go with everything but have color. Wonderfully light but supportive. Perfect running shoe for me. I usually don’t run more than 2-2.5 miles at a time.

I love these
Did hours of research looking for a good pair of walking shoes that looked alright at a decent price. These had great reviews and I liked the bright color way. These have been great for my daily walks; cushioned and supportive, easy to wear, put a little spring in your step. Totally worth the cost. I wear a 7.5/8 in most shoes and got these in an 8, which is perfect!

Love them
I was nervous buying a pair of Brooks online and not being able to try them on first. So, I did the Try Before you Buy from Prime. First off, I love this feature from Amazon it truly helps.About the shoes. I am new to Brooks shoes but was recommended dee to our hase them to workout in. I wear a 7-7 1/2 so I purchased a 7 1/2. They fit true to size, they are very comfortable and do not cause my heel to ache while working out. I have an ongoing bone spur and it kills me when using the treadmill. Not with these shoes though. I can workout and not have pain while doing so.In fact, I wear the shoes now even when I’m not working out because they allow my feet not to ache.I would 100% recommend these shoes and I will repurchase another pair in the near future.

Goldilocks of shoes- Winners
When I say I can’t find a decent pair of sneakers that fit perfectly and are comfortable and good for my knees and ankles it’s no exaggeration. Along comes try before you buy and Brooks Trace. I’m already in love. They feel great. I wore them to the gym last night and no knee or ankle pain. I will be buying another pair to make sure I have a replacement when they wear out.

Walking on Air
My doctor recommended Brooks brand. I took a chance as I am NOT a sneaker-wearing type of girl! I lived in heels and pointy-toed shoes. That is until I developed a foot problem. I love the colors and design, it makes the sneaker feel like a chic choice. Comfort as the title states, walking on air. I plan to explore other styles from Brooks. It’s not just a necessity but an opportunity to refresh my shoe collection!

Perfect for me
I thought Ghost would be the better Brooks shoe but this Trace sneaker fits my foot so much better. I am normal size 9 to 9 1/2 but the 10 in is what fits. It runs wide, which I needed.. I bought the regular width and it was plenty wide (normally shoes are not wide enough). I am in my 60s and no longer run, but these will be great for walking.

I’m torn between 3 and 4 stars on this one. They’re very lightweight, which is trendy now. Some people will consider that an advantage. My last pair of Brooks Ghost 14s were pretty heavy, and I guess I was more used to that. I guess I just don’t see these as really effective for back pain or hard running. I think the soles are a little slippery. Not a great grip. They’re more fashionable than functional. The style I bought (black fading to white at the bottom) looks really cute- better than the pictures.They are nothing like the Trace 1’s. I prefer the Trace 1’s. I ended up having to go on eBay to get another pair of those. Those are more like Ghosts. These are more like… Hokas, maybe?I am glad I bought these. They’re cute and they fit as expected. I would buy them again IF they are cheap. They’re currently half the price of Ghosts, so, in that case, sure. But I don’t run in them. I don’t even take long walks in them. I just wear them for fashion.

So great!
I bought these for work and I’m so glad I did! It’s like walking on clouds. My feet usually get sore throughout the day but these keep the fatigue at bay. I also have a bratty wide foot coupled with a bunion and usually have to either get wide width or a size up and didn’t have to do either with these!

So Comfy!!
These are extremely comfortable.The only other athletic shoes I own are Saucony and although I wear an 8, I’ve needed an 8.5 in those. I bought an 8.5 but needed to return for an 8 as my feet were sliding around. The 8 is a little tight but feel better. I suppose it’s personal preference but I’d say, buy true to size.

Perfect performance
I can never find a shoe that doesn’t slip off my heel and give me blisters or that has me roll in toward my arch. These shoes are fantastic! I’ve already run over 10 miles in them (in 3 days) and I have zero complaints. I will be buying these again!

Super-cute AND Functional!

Gift for my mom/runs small
These were a gift for my mom. She works as a cook and is on her feet all day. Lately her knees had been bothering her and I decided to get these for her. I am happy to say she loves them. She’s had a lot less knee pain. She said she feels like she can dance with these on. Lol id heard a lot about these and I’m so glad I could take some of her pain away. Take care of your mother because it’s the only one you got. God bless btw I almost forgot to mention these imo run small. I got her a 9 to be safe because I couldn’t remember her shoe size. She’s an eight and a half. These fit perfectly. I’m afraid her regular size would have been too snug.

Less Cushion & Support
I have owned several pairs of Brooks over the years. This is the least comfortable pair. It feels like it has less cushion and support than other designs. However, I love the style, and they are still better shoes than other brands.

Knee Support
I stand a lot for work and I usually just wear some cheap sneakers I can find on here. But I decided to spring for a better shoe because I’ve been having knee aching after work. Well, so far my knees and lower back haven’t been in so much pain after wearing these. I really feel a solid cushion from the heel when walking and standing. Good recommendation for someone in healthcare or such.

Very comfortable for long walks with hills on pavement. I will call them true to size for me as i am always a 9 and the 9 fits perfect with a tiny bit of room in front for slide. Good Shoe
I always wanted to try a pair of Brookes. I really love the color I got. They fit my feet nicely & I can wear them all day. My dog put a muddy paw print on my Brookes when he stepped on my toes. The shoes wiped up very nicely with a baby wipe. They seem like they will hold up nicely when I put them in the washer when they need it. I am a school nurse & some times have to run across the whole, (which is very large), school when an emergency happens. This shoe works for my needs & I would buy another pair in the future.

Not super comfortable
I usually always buy brooks ghost but I thought for the price I would try these. I should have stuck with my ghost, this fit fine and i do like the color options but they definitely are not as comfortable as brooks ghost. Waist of money and lesson learned 🤦♀️
