    Great Linux box for the price

    All good. Installed a cheap NVMe drive, ditched Windows and installed Lubuntu and now have a very responsive and efficient little PC. Runs two monitors without any major problems. Absolutely fine for general browsing / projects. Set yourself sensible expectations and you won’t be disappointed. Will likely buy another to run as a media box in our spare bedroom.Is worth noting that I was initially experiencing frequent freezes and crashes running Debian. No such issues with Lubuntu, so assuming it was a software issue.

    Does a good job

    I use this mini PC to run OctoPrint for connecting to my 3D printer, and it does a good job, can be left without a keyboard and mouse once it is started, so it is useful for that task.Only issue related to the internal SSD slot being SATA, but with NVME layout, but once I purchased a SATA 2280 drive it was plug and play. Migrated the OS for drive to the SATA as has more storage space using Disk Genius, keeping original internal storage as backup.Needs the no automatic Windows Update issue with a simple Registry amendment, but that is not a requirement for most people unless you are using headless like me.Not able to upgrade to Windows 11 using standard methods, but you can look on YouTube if you need to upgrade, so not a show stopper.Your own personal mileage with this mini PC will depend on what you plan on using it for, don’t expect to be able to game on this, but for a small Office, 3D printer server or similar, then for the price it offers value.

    MAJOR PRICE HIKE – just gone up from £85 to £120 for no reason.

    Between November and December the Seller (BMAX or Amazon?) has increased the price of this product by 40% – in a market where it is rapidly becoming obsolete…… given how fast the PC market evolves.However AT THE PRICE I PAID £85 it is wholly excellent. I would have half a dozen of them if I could justify it; because they are just so convenient, with a modest performance (don’t expect to play games on a fanless £85 Windows platform) but for normal tasks and browsing, or playing videos you barely notice that you’re not on a ‘normal’ PC. I am converting one to a home NAS and one into a media-player. But couldn’t justify buying the others I’d like to have, because next years crop will presumably be better and cheaper – thanks to Moore’s law 🙂

    Extra storage only supports EMMC and does not support NVMe. Refunded me with no issues and very helpful. What an amazing customer support, just like the good old days when a company cared for their customers.

    Nice little puter

    I always wanted to try one of these and didn’t want to spend too much. Just received this and the setup was easy about (20 minutes). WOW so far so good. I have to say I am impressed with this little thing and can’t beat the value. 512GB storage, 16GB memory, 2 HDMI, 4 USBs, and a slot to add an SSD. I am not real familiar with the processor and have not done any benchmark testing. It is perfect for my needs. Just hope it lasts.

    I hooked this up to my TV and got a cordless keyboard and mouse to go with it. Very pleased with it.
