Really like this
I use this shampoo to double cleanse my scalp after oiling it and it’s perfect for this as the cost is very good for what you get and it doesn’t irritate my scalp as it’s practically fragrance free, not completely but next best thing I’d say. Little goes a long way and the consistency is nice and thick.

Favorite leave in conditioner I’ve ever used!
I was searching for this and didn’t think I’d be able to find it ever again, but Amazon to the rescue!! For whatever reason, this actually puts hydration and weightless volume into my hair like nothing else. The bottle is small, but you don’t need that much! I only wash my hair once or twice a week, and even though I have really long hair, and use more product than a lot of people, I’m still on my first bottle! I’ve had it for weeks now, so I’m really happy!! I bought several bottles!

Deceptive advertising
I was expecting this bottle to be similar in size to the previous Aveeno leave-in conditioner I bought. Instead, it is travel size, which is way too small for the price. The pictures are deceptive. I should have looked more closely but that doesn’t change the fact that this is a rip-off.

Am I getting fakes???
I’m mixed on this item. The first I received I absolutely LOOOOVED. It was everything I’ve been searching for for like 5 years now and then some. It made my hair nice and silky smooth, shiny, no static, less tangles. Well hydrated while still being light and not at all greasy. All but one of the other milks or leave-ins I’ve used seem to leave me cruncky or greasy or don’t do a damn thing, but the one that used to work was discontinued I guess. This product left my hair feeling and looking amazing and smelled delicious. Then I got a couple that the color was ever so slightly off, and they smelled like chemically…. The texture was wrong it was really runny, I don’t know what was up with it. I like to have things on hand and not be out when my bottle ends. So, I thought well I’ll just exchange them, must just be a fluke right? So I received my replacements, put them away when I opened the box because I was in a hurry and figured surely they’d be fine. So when my good bottle ran out a few days ago I grabbed one of the replacements and UUUGGGHHHH!!!! What the hell!?!?!???? Neither bottles contents seemed right. So frustratingly I’ve returned them. One was like the first wonky ones in texture and scent, the other was extremely thick and looked like white and felt a little heavier. I’m sooo crushed by this! I can’t find this particular product anywhere else I’ve looked online or in store…. Maybe I’ll try again after some time goes by… There’s something not right going on and I’m not sure where it is. I don’t want to think this was a fake product, because the first bottle smelled like the matching Aveeno shampoo and conditioner and the fonts/colors and such matched. I loved it so much. I’ve literally been searching for years for a product that works like that on my hair…. I’m not sure that it’s a QA/QC quality control thing because the smells were so far off from what I was expecting…..none of these have had any sort of seal on them, so I’m sort of wondering if these are stocked from a seller that refilled bottles or if Id been receiving someone else’s tampered with returns??? I give this 3 stars because the first bottle I received I would totally give 20/5 stars. The rest though I would put -5/5 stars… I don’t understand how something like this could even happen this many times in a row. I really hope this review is read by someone that can get to the bottom of this. I want to be able to purchase more like the first bottle I received! Maybe I will have to go out of my way to check at a Sally Hansen’s or try to contact Aveeno or something. This is so infuriating!

If you can get past the gross texture when applying it, this product has worked wonders on my dry damaged hair. I’m not sure how it would work on naturally oily hair, but it works amazing on my non-oily hair.

Great, except strong fragrance
I have rheumatoid arthritis and it causes itchy skin/eczema. I really like this product; my hair is super soft. However, it has a super strong fragrance in my opinion. It’s not an offensive fragrance and I don’t notice it after I shower, but I notice it when I open and use it. I wish Aveeno would pull back a bit on the fragrance but otherwise I would give five stars.

Aveeno no longer offers the leave in conditioner I used for years so I tried this one. It smells nice and my hair looks great after I dry it but I think it’s making my hair staticky – not 100% sure yet so I don’t want to be too critical

My all-new-hair after chemo ended was healthy and looked good. But after about a year, the head of grey hair started badly thinning, looked dry, dull and fly away. On a whim, I bought this Aveeno Daily Moisture for dry/damaged hair shampoo because I didn’t want to spend a fortune for something that might not work. I have used it one time people, one time. It works! The frizz and fly away? GONE. The natural curl came back! It looks healthier! I’m very pleased! It’s not oily and left no residue. Not crazy about the fragrance, but I will get used to it for these results. Will continue to use this shampoo for sure!

Good Product — Not for fine, curly hair!
This product — along with the conditioner — feels good when shampooing and afterwards your hair will feel soft and nice … BUT if you have wavy-curly, fine hair like I do, you don’t want it to be limp and without body.I bought the set and used the shampoo with the conditioner, and I think the combo was just too much for my type of hair. I used more styling product than usual in order to overcome those effects, but it didn’t work well. It seemed to encourage the curliness, but that’s doesn’t help if my hairstyle/curls just fall flat to my head!I think this is a good product generally but just not for my type of hair! I will try it once more with a simple vinegar rinse to close the cuticles and see if that helps. If it changes, I’ll update. 😃

Smells amazing. I don’t normally enjoy the cleaner smells because I like sweet smelling things- but this stuff smells like sweet lavender! It also makes my hair silky smooth with little to no frizz. Not as scalp soothing as advertised which is why I got it- but has amazing qualities.

A lot of people don’t realize that what they put in their hair could give them an allergic reaction. On top of that most of the same people dislike hair oils. now there allot of products with silicone/ honey like ingredients that acts like a sticky hair spray and will knot up your hair and break it. Aveeno Oat is different as a light conditioner. Adds a little moisture so I cam pull my hair back and no redness or allergies in my eyes.

I have tried for many years to find a shampoo and conditioner that would both cure my itchy scalp, along with leaving my hair feeling sufficiently soft, but not too soft, and not greasy. Lo and behold, this Aveeno oat milk shampoo/conditioner fits the bill. It just washes my hair so well, I love it so much that I have 8 bottles of this oat milk shampoo and 8 bottles of the conditioner (for if it isn’t on sale for a long time, or if it’s out of stock in my local grocers when it is on sale etc, along with a big family using the products). It also smells so beautiful, it’s hard to explain the aroma, but it is incredible, and it lathers beautifully into a thick and hearty shampoo.Anyway, I digress. The main point being that it is an excellent shampoo, the matching conditioner is great, it leaves my hair perfect and ready to be styled, my scalp is no longer itchy and – importantly – it is very often on sale either on Amazon, or Coles/Woolies/IGA, pharmacies in Australia (the big chain pharmacy, you know the one, and you can ask them to price match another store, e.g. Coles, if Coles has it for less than the pharmacy). So when it’s half price, and goes down to $10… that is an epic deal. Again, it happens often, so don’t stress if you miss it.Finally, Aveeno make excellent body washes that pair well with this, for example I use the “Active Naturals Stress Relief Lavender Scented Body Wash”. Then you can have the perfect shower or bath – really nice smelling, high quality hair products – along with the body wash I mentioned, which I find soothing and it is, again, very easy on my skin. The body wash you can (at this point in time) get in a small bottle on Amazon, I’ve seen a 1L pump bottle at various places, though, and they are easier to use. Depends on your preferences.TLDR – I love this shampoo and the matching conditioner, they don’t leave my hair too dry nor too greasy, they can often be found for 50% off which makes them an absolute bargain, they smell gorgeous, and they pair really well with the Aveeno body washes, my favourite being the “stress relief” version. This oat milk shampoo and the matching conditioner honestly compete neck and neck with my expensive products (far more expensive).Try this shampoo and the conditioner – you won’t regret it. And if you don’t like it, there are plenty of different shampoos and conditioners made by Aveeno. The others just weren’t for me, I tried all of them, but as you will see when you search for them, they have insanely good reviews for the price. Finally – in terms of this oat milk shampoo/conditioner, I have converted about eight people over time, when they showered at my home and used the products. They are all converts now! And, as always, excellent and prompt delivery from Amazon. The only complaint I have is that it doesn’t seemingly come in bulk format/anything bigger than 12 ounces/350ml, which means a fair bit of plastic waste, along with needing to change the bottles often, but it is what it is.

The Best
This is great if you have fine hair and want to put it in a mask overnight and wash it in the morning. I like to wear a satin bonnet when I do this, but it really does sink into your hair to the point that you don’t really need to cover it for fear of mess. I’ve never found anything else like it.
