Good priced mineral tablet for shrimp
I drop one tablet in the cherry shrimp tank and they don’t seem to care for it. Few snails on it so after 2 days it just dissolved. It’s okay and my shrimps just won’t eat it.

Shrimp didn’t care for them
Got these to try and use while I was gone away on vacation but put them in to test and my shrimp could care less for these. Maybe one or two of them nibbled off it once but that was it.

Crayfish ate it
Crayfish took it on day one, no time to dissolve. He went right inside his cave and I never saw it again. I might try it in another tank with shrimp.

I used that when I went away for 5days, but turn out they love it more than the other food! I have seen a lot of successful molts afterwards so I am very happy! And will buy more!

Snails seem to like it
What more is there? Snail food to supplement the algae in the tank, it sinks to the bottom and stays in place, and my 2 Nerite snails seem to like it well enough.

Somewhat disappointing
I got this to use with my small shrimp tank when on vacation. I used it over a long weekend to try it out and it changed the water parameters so much that I lost three shrimp the following week. Changed the TDS and PH pretty dramatically. I think that’s what killed my shrimp. Use with caution.

Great for an every once-in-a-while feed
It is very small (perfect for the typical nano shrimp tank. Mine happens to be the fluval 5.5 spec) and does provide the large number of shrimp associated with small shrimp tanks a nice food variety among their shrimp pellets and frozen varieties of food.I will throw in a block as often as once a week, or every other week (dependent on my weekly to bi-weekly water changes). It is important to only feed these blocks right before a water change is due or right after a water change is completed only because once again, with any plaster fed food, when left in the water column, it can get messy and dirty the tank in a relatively short amount of time. My cherry shrimp, orange bee shrimp, and red fire shrimp do enjoy it however and I will continue to offer it to them as a food variety once in a while.

Caution. Will change your GH in your hardness of your water
These are good for your invertebrates with this for shrimp if you’re watching your hardness GH beware. It will raise your GH not good.. Cause the calcium slowly release through if it’s just sitting there in your tank and it says you can have it in your tank for 3 to 4 days and I just place it in for 1 day. Trouble. And no refund for this product.

Dissolve Quickly, But Shrimp Love Them
My shrimp love these, but I feel they dissolve too quickly. Plus, my snails have zero interest in them but go nuts for fish feeder vacation blocks. Still, if you own shrimp, they’ll most likely enjoy these.
